I’m sure you’ve answered this before but I can’t seem to find the response (Tumblr gets weirdly hard to navigate sometimes), so sorry about the repetition! But where do you read TRC? Getting the paperback mangas is way too difficult for me, but there are too many internet sources to choose from it seems. Or too little, if you consider how shady some can be. Thanks!
Don't worry, I never mind getting the same question - Tumblr is hell to navigate, even with all the tags in place, and I'm always happy to help!
I have all the physical volumes of Tsubasa, but if we're talking online options I've also purchased almost all of the ebook volumes through Comixology. Comixology is now dead, but! It was eaten by Amazon! So you can also purchase the ebook versions through the Amazon website and read them on the kindle app if you want to spend the money on it. The app... is not optimised for reading manga, but you can zoom in with pretty good quality!
This option isn't for everyone though so I've hunted down a past post with the same question to see what the other suggestions were in the notes. I personally haven't tried any of these websites so I can't vouch for how they work, but the options suggested by others are: batoto, mangakakalot.to, mangadex, tenmanga, and manganelo.
Libraries sometimes will also let you borrow the ebook versions of manga, if they don't have the physical ones, but the availability of that varies wildly depending on location.
I hope one of these will help!

in honor of my sudden re-binging of TRC, i finally bring out an unposted quality archive from 2017
#it's a wonder i still have it#idk how it is in other countries but here a lot of old clamps have not been reprinted yet and are therefore rarer than gold#so when i get new copies it's been long enough that i can start over from the beginning lmao. same strife with xxxh0lic#which unlike trc i did not read as scans first and refuse to. it will take me 20 years to see the end of the story#anyway this week i meant to draw and i said the next manga i'd read would be something new but here i am#gina if you're out there. i'm blowing you a kiss. kur0fai flavored#tsubasa reservoir chronicle#fai d. fluorite#mokona#this is not worthy of my artblog#pyro draws

what the fuck is with all the fics that have Kurogane teaching Fai how to fight in yama???
i mean, did you just skip a bunch of pages when fai was doing things?
hashin (the very 1st world!) gives us this: "hes a combat veteran" - kurogane
and then in koryo (world #2): it takes skill to spin a staff that fast, and hes not even paying attn to it
and outo: where he turns getting kurogane to attack him into a game
and the darts!
all of these are before yama!
#seriously.#though if ppl's reading comprehension is that fail it explains why so many ppl cant follow the plot after acid tokyo#fai has probly spent more time learning to fight than kurogane has even been alive#kurogane#fai#fai d. flowright#fai d flourite#trc#tsubasa reservoir chronicles#tsubasa reservoir chronicle#CLAMP#CLAMP manga#kurofai

On another note guys you are lucky I’m trying to keep this blog semi professional and not post too much non-art stuff but I’m REALLY restraining myself here because I’ve never before wanted to shout and write about a manga so much like I want to do with Trigun You need to understand how much I breathe the art of this manga. The characters and their inner thoughts. The overall concept. The despair and the hopeful scenes equally!! You FEEL with the main character (which is a curse and blessing) Maybe....maybe I’ll add stuff to this post later under a “keep reading” just to prove my point hehe. For now thank you for your time to read this little PSA. (oh my how did a link to the scanlations end up here whoops)
EDIT: I DID make a compilation in a reblog (look here) (so better reblog that version in case you wanted to reblog this post!)
#it doesn't diminsh the love and respect I have for the other series I've been invested in in the last months like bnha and mp100#(and of course Tsubasa Chronicles I'm an old veteran with that)#but Trigun is literally one of the best series I've read#especially when it comes to storytelling through emotions#and interesting story concept!#ok I'm gonna save more stuff for later#trigun#text#trigun maximum

honestly i think a big part of why ranma has fared better than some others over time is because the gender stuff wasn't really the main thing. there's always some other shit going on, simultaneously or with more focus
#one example being konatsu#there's the whole ~oh she's a male kunoichi~ but then it already has a different joke set up it diverts to#so it ends up feeling more like that other thing is the schtick and not really her gender (compare to tsubasa? if my memory serves me right#like. in a bunch of crazy/assholery/stupidity#if the reader see the gender shit as part of the crazy (as was perhaps intended) sure#but if you read the gender shit as normal it still ends up working#ranma#theres also that in universe the characters are used to ranma's curse so its literally normal

Morning Thoughts: How OG!Yuui/Our Fai's whole 'all smiles good times not stressed' demeanor was started out of a desire to make other people happy. To repay Ashura for taking him in and preserving his brother. To make up for the sins he carries on his shoulders. How the only thing he wanted besides his brother to live and himself to die (not more, not for a long long time, but still on the short list) is the safety and happiness of the people around him. How much and how strongly he loves despite everything. How from what little we see of his brother he was the same damn way, loving his twin with everything there was in his little him.
Just, I have so many feelings about these two.
#tsubasa reservoir chronicle#fai d flourite#i love both syaorans i love both sakuras#but kurogane yuui and fai are everything#i still need to read horitsuba i think i have access to it i just have not gotten around to that shit

Did you know that there are two alternate deleted endings to the Celes/Seresu arc? Fai gets killed at the end of the arc in the first one and the 2nd one, he is left forever waiting for Kurogane to come back to save him from the magical bubble that he was trapped in as the world was closing. Kurogane tries his whole life to find a way to save him but doesn't succeed. (Clamp mentioned it on Twitter and an old interview.)
That's the exact kind of heart wrenching tragedy I would expect from the older Clamp narratives! The drama of it all!
I for one am very glad they considered those endings but ultimately broke their own pattern and went with a narrative that is all the stronger for it. They've done tragedy enough that breaking the trend is even more impactful, especially in a story like this, and how it adds to the overall theme they've built so far.
But VERY delicious to consider all the same.
#I hope someone had fun writing the fic version of those endings#THOSE WOULD BE SO JUICY TO READ#THE DRAMA THE SADNESS#And as writing processes go there's always endless things that get changed as you go#and I'm VERY glad they committed to this new version of the story instead#replies#daydreamingshipper#Liveblogging the reservoir chronicle#Tsubasa#Kurofai

Captain Tsubasa S2 - Junior Youth: The Importance of Hyuga and Wakashimazu's Hospital and Car Scenes
While the Shin Captain Tsubasa OVAs were of high quality, in my humble opinion, they omitted several scenes probably due to time constraints. One particular scene that I eagerly wait to see animated, either in today's episode or the next two, is the one where Hyuga visits Wakashimazu in the Hamburg hospital and their subsequent conversation in the car. While not essential to the main storyline, this scene provides crucial insights into the bond between Hyuga and Wakashimazu.
1. The Enigmatic Relationship of Hyuga and Wakashimazu
When reading the manga or watching the anime, there are few scenes centered solely on Hyuga and Wakashimazu.
Most of their encounters happen on the football field, where words are scarce. The exceptions are few, with the third Nankatsu-Toho finals being a standout. But still, questions linger: What lies beyond the surface of their camaraderie? Do they share interests beyond football? Can their contrasting personalities coexist peacefully? The answers are found in two key scenes within the Junior Youth arc: the hospital and car moments, which offer a glimpse into their off-field interactions and shed light on their dynamic.
2. Context and Significance of the Hospital and Car Scenes
To truly grasp the significance of these scenes, let's revisit what led up to them. Wakashimazu injures his hand, defending against Schneider's powerful shot, requiring a trip to Hamburg Hospital.
Meanwhile, Japan faces a humiliating defeat against Schneider and Wakabayashi. After the match, a heated altercation erupts between Hyuga and Wakabayashi, resulting in a physical confrontation. Following these events, a disheartened Hyuga relinquishes his captaincy.
Wakashimazu, accompanied by Katagiri, leaves the hospital and finds his captain waiting for him, battered but smiling. Hyuga had gone out of his way to be by Wakashimazu's side.
The two young men share a car ride, during which, for the first time in Captain Tsubasa history, we witness a conversation between Toho's captain and his goalkeeper.
3. Unveiling the Relationship
The first question that arises from this scene is why Hyuga decided to visit Wakashimazu. The answer lies in his genuine concern for his goalkeeper and the emotional comfort Wakashimazu provides him. Normally, Hyuga is known for his fiery, arrogant demeanor and suspicion of others, but his attitude changes dramatically in Wakashimazu's presence. He exhibits a side of his personality reserved for those close to his heart—smiling, caring, relaxed, and even vulnerable.
In return, Wakashimazu reciprocates, displaying an even more surprising and blatant change in behavior. His expression is entirely relaxed and, dare I say, CUTE when he interacts with Hyuga. This departure from his usual stoic, composed demeanor, with furrowed brows, is very notable.
YO LOOK AT THIS ↑↑↑ who's that angry young man on the left and this young maiden in love on the right KEK
While we've seen him smile at Hyuga during the national middle school tournament final, this goes beyond that.
In addition to his gentle smile and soft demeanor, this manifests in his choice of words as he attempts to console a deeply disheartened Hyuga. However, these nuances often evade translation, underscoring the intricacies of the Japanese language.
4. Language Subtleties in Captain Tsubasa
Captain Tsubasa exemplifies the subtleties of the Japanese language perfectly.
For exemple, Hyuga addresses Wakashimazu informally, using his last name without honorifics or "omae/お前", a second-person singular pronoun considered familiar in this context.
In contrast, Wakashimazu uses "keigo/敬語", a polite language form, to address Hyuga due to his position as captain and out of immense respect. He primarily calls him "captain/キャプテン", occasionally using "anta/あんた" (a polite second-person singular pronoun in this context), and very rarely addressing him as "Hyuga-san/日向さん", using the last name with an honorific suffix.
Conclusion:
The hospital and car scenes between Hyuga and Wakashimazu offer invaluable insights into the characters' relationship, personalities, and the subtleties of their interactions.
While not central to the main storyline, these moments enrich the Captain Tsubasa experience and provide fans with a deeper appreciation of the intricate dynamics between Hyuga and Wakashimazu's unspoken camaraderie or more if you like to interpret their relationship this way.
PRAY FOR THE SCENES' ANIME ADAPTATION!!...🛐🛐🛐
