I really don't wanna complain but I just feel a bit depressed lately because of it and just have to post it. Why do I just get likes and almost no reblogs? Other people who post about Christopher Lee get hundreds of likes and reblogs even they post the same photo as me. And even people, who follow me, preferentially reblog the post from someone else who also posted it. What am I doing wrong? It's a bit frustrating. But what really depresses me is that I just get a very few likes on my art. Likes are nice and I appreciate them but they are absolutely useless. They don't help me to get any recognition or new followers. Does my art really looks that shit that it's not worthy to get reblogged?

So, some artblog I follow makes random mention of me along with a score of other blogs in a Ray-Ban ad post (with another following with another set of names)...normally I don’t know what to make of this, and my first instinct is to report spam and block, but it actually gave me a chance to investigate what the other blogs were about. Many of them are cool artblogs (some long dead) that deserve some attention.....others were empty husks or fitness crap worthy of blocking....so, the last 10+ posts were by the better ones.

I think my solution is I will delete all my Terror fanart off my artblog (I think I still have the reblogs here so it’ll still be archived) and then I’ll only post stuff to my artblog that’more portofilo worthy (or at least try and keep it more diverse), but then I can keep posting relentless Terror/other fanart stuff here.

1. Why did you choose your url? Because I wanted a Gloryhammer url badly. My urls are usually always song titles

2. Any side blogs? Just my first url saved and an old Artblog. I can't even draw.

But yeah I forgot access to those blogs.

3. How long have you been on tumblr? Since 2011

4. Do you have a queue tag? Nope. Haven't had the need for one

5. Why did you start this blog in the first place? I heard from someone back on livejournal that tumblr was a good place for posting gifs and gif sets. So I came here

6. Why did you choose your icon? It's a photo of me. I don't exactly know why I one day decided to use my face as an icon. Maybe to not seem like just a blog for one thing? I assume that whenever someone has a certain person/character on their icon, that they are a blog for that thing only or something.

I actually think it was a mistake to choose your own face as icon, because I think it attracts more bots and weirdos than actual people who like your content.

7. Why did you choose your header? I try to make it accurate to whatever I'm currently really into just like it was with my icon. But this also constantly changes. It's a Screenshot of a Music Video at the moment, and I just made it pink because that is my color.

I once tried to make a header with the most things I like/post but it looked too messy so I gave up.

8. How many mutuals do you have? Over 90 ( yes I tried to count but lost track)

9. How many followers do you have? 764 and this number constantly changes because I keep blocking the obvious bots and then sometimes it seems as if some people unfollow as well

10. How many do you follow? 491

11. Have you ever made a shitpost?My text posts probably are all a shitposts aren’t they? and my tags in general are shitpost worthy. I feel so at least

I try to use it everyday at least once, but boredom often brings me back more than once when I have time that is

13. Did you have a fight/argument with another blog once?No. I did block some blogs back then though, because they were sort of hate blogs for Singers/Bands and I couldn't stand them dissing my favs because I'm bitter

Hello friends!! A quick question...

In terms of posting on artblogs, do you prefer quality or quantity? As in, would you prefer I post MORE stuff even if it’s just simple/unfinished/not something I would normally deem “worthy” of posting? Or do you like finished pieces/more complete sketches better?

I draw so much stuff that I never post bc I’m worried about the “quality” of my blog. But then I feel bad for posting so infrequently! So pls lemme know ur thoughts!!!

Galaas A'rod (Deus Ologan) by MoonstalkerWerewolf

I updated Deus Ologan, although I only drew him once in an outdated and inaccurate pic from 2016. Deus is a False Keeper who was once a Darksage, but defected from Atercuratrix's side and her teachings in greed as well as believing that Ater wasn't worthy of being the Dark Keeper.
