I’m so excited to learn more from this international online cooking academy. I learnt: - how to make the perfect sushi rice - how to make a maki sushi roll 💚 Great tips from Akiko on how to roll and how to cut up the sushi rolls. I’ve always been bad at this so it’s nice to learn from a Japanese pro on how to do it. Happiness is... when you stare at beautiful food photos of Instagram and get inspired to create raw vegan versions and then they actually turn out really good. Thank you @sabnspice for your posting on Kimbap donuts which in turn let me to make my own raw vegan sushi donuts. Rice is radish and cashews. I made raw vegan mayo. @marikosakata has an excellent mayo recipe which is raw vegan. And the pickled ginger is naturally coloured with beetroot juice. Sesame seeds were soaked, activated and dehydrated. H-A-P-P-Y!!
