Too think I was treated like a doll blows my mind .. I was nothin but a shell . I always had cute dresses and bows in my hair .. I always kept up the doll appearance even into my adulthood . I started doing live videos . I was still keeping up the mask when I started doing videos . Honestly I told myself I can’t do hair and makeup every MF day . I gotta come real . Everybody was use to the doll . The shell .. even when I posted selfie natural I barely got likes for the post but when I had makeup and hair and I had so many likes . I was like damn . So if fake as fuck everybody is with it . I was like people are that shallow .. yep ... people are that MF shallow and judgmental. So I dropped the makeup . I said fuck it . I’m going to make these MF feel me ... and you feel it . Aww the best feeling ever . I don’t need to be seen . I’m felt ... I made you fall in love with me . Kno why . Y’all too MF shallow .. shit .. hold up.... I have to say this . I love when guys say I can’t stand women who wear makeup but you love every chick who does on ig but you won’t notice the women who’s wearing the jogging suit and glasses because she’s isn’t your so called beautiful . Full Bloom

There are many types of love and most everyone has either felt love or actively been in love. Yet we take love at face value as just a feeling while never delving deeper. If a curious soul desires to look deeper into the heart, you will find where love develops. Inside of the heart is a garden. The garden is attached to the soul which makes every garden unique to their person. Each garden tells its tale of love and all of the adventures it has gone on. Love leaves its mark on the garden, whether good or bad. The garden is a novel, a photograph, an expression.

On the outside, its not obvious what a person has gone through or experienced. A happy, bubbly person who never seems to have a rainy day might have the most scarred heart and experienced extreme heartache. The garden matches and expresses the truth that the outer facade cannot show.

The garden starts in full bloom at birth. As they grow and go through the stages of life, the garden continues to flourish and bloom. Once a person experiences their first heart break, the garden has its first earthquake. Every heartbreak leaves a visual mark on the garden and that is one reason people say you always remember your first love. After heart break the flowers wilt, the soil cracks, and the patterns are disrupted.

As they move on and begin healing, so will the garden. The garden will begin flourishing until it is fully healed once more, except for the roses and the cracks. The roses will wait to bloom when the next adventure in love begins.

The next love interest appears and the garden slowly returns to full bloom. Until the next heartbreak. Then the next, over and over, the cycle of love and heartbreak repeats until they can take no more. The garden has no pattern left and hundreds of scars in the soil. Most of the flowers are dead, the remaining wilted. The roses were burnt to a crisp in the last heartbreak. All hope is lost and the garden visualizes that sentiment. All of the flowers have bloomed, even the back up bulbs. Or so they thought.

They have met another love interest, but they don’t know that this is *the* love interest. They start as friends and both the person and their garden have no hope, so they decide that love is off the table. Neither of them know of the daisy waiting patiently under the surface biding its time until the right one came along. As time passes, the bulb begins to bloom. The lone daisy grows to full bloom as the two begin to become closer.

At full bloom, the daisy gives both the garden and their person new hope. The garden uses this hope and the daisy begins healing once more. When the garden is healed the best that it can, the person will open up to love again. Time continues to pass and the garden creates a new pattern to fill in the gaps with the daisies. They had found love again and the garden was in full bloom for good.

Everyone experiences love and heartbreak. We are constantly reminded of the adventures we take and they leave their mark on us. The garden can  and will tell our stories for us while holding its history close. The growing and healing process is just as significant as the adventures you go on.

(my writing was too immature. so was my pianist.) at 18 i sang for The Stylistics... with my pianist. at 18 i released a single. It was me. I was moving in the right direction. 2017 the label was pushing. my pianist cheated, i was self destructive. i released a shitty song to try to make the world happy again. i stayed in the relationship that i should have left. my pianist graduated. at 19 i was broken. i was touring in the philippines. i couldn't write. i couldn't sing. my mind wouldn't let me love. 2017 was a year of limits. i sang for patti austin. i sang a political satire about my country (philippines.) Mentally Ill

It started at thirteen Terrifying and with no support Yet we made it.

Eighteen and with new support Yet it was worse than before We made it though.

All those "I never thought I'd make it, but here I am" They hurt They make us cry We crave those feelings.

They said it would get better after school It did. New opportunities, New freedoms, New experiences.

What doesn't change is the hard times.

We experience loss, grief, changes, heartbreak.

So many feelings.

So many ways to spiral back.

We lost her, we spiraled. Even with the same support system, and a new one. Even with new feelings, With new coping mechanisms, The spiral is always there.

Nine years later. Still struggling. Therapy scares us, The medications scare us, Life scares us.

I never thought I'd make it here. I thought I'd be alone forever. Leaving before I found  you. Before I found this.

They say a women first boyfriend is her father .. well .. where do I start .. the first person to choke me my father , beat me down mental and physical my father .. saying I’m only pretty when I have makeup on ... my father . Screaming at me for hours and means hours .. hold up let tell you never part he never had job either . I would come home from school and the house would be a mess all the MF time so I start cleaning .. like I said my father never had a job . So he was home all the time . What he did all day still amazes me . He stop working in 1991 .. and never went back to work either . I guess he stay at home father but never did anything . I don’t even know how to explain it .. it’s like he my father but he never provided .. never taking the mans roll ... it’s like was dealing spoiled ass brat in adult body . Throwing tantrums , making a mess and never taking responsibility for his actions . When he choke me he told me I kicked him I said hell yeah because your hands were around my neck . I no choice but to starting kick . MF was trying to kill me .. shit if I didn’t start kicking I wouldn’t be writing this post . I’m fuckin serious .. I had to fight my whole life . Sounding like color purple . I’m telling you my story because some people are dealing with grown ass adult who act like children . Goodbye

You were supposed to be there

Always and forever

Always there to lift each other up Always there to catch whoever fell down Always there to lend an ear Always there to say the right thing

Forever together Forever talking Forever and ever

I shouldn't miss you But I do I miss our friendship I miss our talks and how easy they were I miss laughing with you I miss being near you

I miss you, but you threw it all away I've learned so much in this time I've learned I don't need you I've learned I don't want you

Its hurts now It hurts so much I'd love to ease the pain and forget But I refuse to rugsweep

I went looking I needed a sign to figure things out I found it I don't smile with you I hate fake smiles, but there I am with one I look happier with others How long has my mind been trying to warn me? How long could I have been happier? How long have I been blind?

Right now, it's hard I can't move on My mind won't quit I can't forget

I need to heal without force I need structure I need stability  You give me none

I'm done I'm moving on I won't be manipulated Guilted Thrown to the side You made your choice and this is mine

I can't say goodbye face to face I may never have the chance to Or the courage So this poem will have to do

Goodbye my friend I'll cherish the memories I'll miss who you used to be I'll miss a lot

You made your choice to throw our friendship away So this is my goodbye to respect your decision

I wish you the best and hope it was worth it I'm gonna be fine and I'll get better from this

I'm going to be just fine in time

Paper Flowers

Everyone has seen origami.

Everyone has seen those little swans, The dragons, Or whatever the person can make. Sometimes there are even flowers.

I know a girl Who lives in the sun, Never runs from the rain, Welcomes the snow, And whose breath is taken by the night stars  As well as the moon. Throughout it all She keeps her head lifted up  Aiming for the sky, Hoping to hit the stars She knows her life is going somewhere.

Everyone who knows her Loves her for her positivity For her happy-go-lucky attitude, For even when she is sick She is never unhappy.

Yet what they don't know What they can't see Is that little box in her room Full of paper flowers.

Her coping method Her precious flowers The only dark spot in her life. Whenever something gets her down She writes it down on paper Then she folds  And folds And folds Until finally she has a small flower.

Years ago when she was young She sat watching her mother Fold and Fold small bits of paper Until they formed little flowers. Her mom would hand the delicate paper To the small girl and tell her:

"These flowers are your life They are created by you They live for you And they hold your death for you. Take care of them Don't let them weigh you down Don't let the darkness take over you. These flowers are the light in your life."

The girl, now older, has followed that advice. Everyday she makes a flower, Sometimes more than one a day, She traps all of the darkness Inside the delicate Beautiful flowers So that she can continue on with her life.

These flowers are  Life and Death Light and Darkness The Moon and the Sun Opposite and Alike

These flowers will save you.
