Raw cacao peppermint brownies. 😍! 6 Ingredient Recipe: 1 cup pitted Dates, 5 tbl sp Raw & Organic Cacao, 1 cup Pecans, 2 tbl sp Raw & Organic Agave Nectar, Pinch of Powdered Pink Himalayan salt (or sea salt), 2 drops of Peppermint Essential Oil. Mix ingredients until 1 texture is formed, then pour into a square pan. Refrigerate after making for more firmness. Raw Brownie Bites
The best raw brownie bites recipe you will ever need. Right here!
You must make these! They are some of the best raw brownies I’ve ever eaten. I know you might say of course they are. But I’m telling you right now these are the best! I have made this recipe in the past and always think is there any way to make it better? Yes, there is!
These raw brownies are so decadent looking and when you bite into one you will know why I say make these!
Let's talk a little bit about the ingredients. Dates are a great natural sweetener as well as help for binding all the ingredients together. Now oat flour may sound fancy but it’s just ground up oats. Yep, that’s it! And you know what cocoa powder is. Enough said. On to the nut butter. Growing up there was one choice and that was peanut butter. Now you’ve got cashew, almond, and sun butter which is not made with nuts but sunflower seeds. Choices!
Add a teensy bit of vanilla extract and some chocolate chips. Woohoo, you’re good to go!
Makes 8
Ingredients
1 cup Medjool Dates
3/4 cup Oat Flour
1/2 cup Cocoa Powder
1/4 tsp Salt
1/4 cup Almond Butter or nut butter of your choice
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
1/2 cup Chocolate Chips, divided
Directions
Pit the Medjool Dates, place them in a bowl and cover them with warm water. Set aside to soak for 10 minutes.
Mix the Oat Flour, Cocoa Powder, and salt together in a bowl.
Drain the Dates, then add them to a food processor with the oat flour mixture, almond butter, vanilla extract, and chocolate chips. Pulse a handful of times until the mixture sticks together when you pinch it. You can also pulse till it forms a ball and the consistency will be shiny and thick.
Transfer the mixture to a pan lined with parchment paper, then place a piece of parchment on top of mixture and use your hands to smash it out evenly in the pan. Melt the remaining chocolate chips and drizzle over the top of the brownies.
Place in the freezer for at least 1 hour. Remove and slice as desired.
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week, or in the freezer for up to 1 month.

These brownies are healthy and nutritious but you wouldn't guess that from taking a bite. Fudgy, gooey and chocolaty, these brownies are a perfect treat without the guilt. Be warned, they are very addictive. Store your brownies in an air tight container in the fridge. Place parchment paper between the layers if you are stacking then on top of each other so they don't stick together. They taste great cold or at room temperature.

Raw Caramel Chocolate Brownies by @lazycatkitchen. Follow the steps in the video or use the recipe below: * 400 g dates * 150 g pumpkin seeds (shelled)* * 150 g almonds * ½-¾ tsp fine sea salt * ½ cup raw cacao * 4 tbsp / 60 ml espresso (optional) * 1/8 cup smooth (all natural) almond butter * 1 tbsp / 15 ml coconut oil, refined is preferred (optional) * 20 g chopped almonds, to garnish Pit the dates. Soak them in a warm water to soften if needed. Line a tray with baking paper. I used a 20 cm by 15 cm tray. Process pumpkin seeds and almonds into a coarse meal. Transfer them both into a big mixing bowl. Put soaked dates (without water) into the food processor with a good pinch of salt and about 2-3 tbsp of coffee (use just enough to get a smooth paste) and process until you get a smooth date paste. Measure out 150 ml (½ cup + 1/8 cup) of date paste and set aside for the frosting. Transfer the rest of the date paste into the mixing bowl with ground pumpkin seeds and nuts and combine into a ‘dough’. Add ½ cup of sifted cacao and work it into the ‘dough’. I found that it is best to use your hands (unless you have a very good food processor), plus it’s also easier to judge if the paste isn’t too dry. If you find it too dry, add another 10 ml of coffee (or water), but do it gradually so that you only add as little moisture as necessary. Spread the brownie ‘dough’ in the lined tray, pressing it down well and into the corners. Make sure the base layer is even. Pop it into the freezer to set. Clean your food processor. Put 150 ml of date paste back into the food processor with almond butter and ½ tsp of salt (you can add more to taste). Add 1 tbsp of water to make it more spreadable. You can also add 1 tbsp of coconut oil if you want the top to be a bit less tacky after it has set, but that’s absolutely not necessary. Process until you get a smooth, spreadable salted caramel. Take the base layer out of the freezer and spread salted caramel on top. Sprinkle with chopped almonds. Happy Friyay!❤ My last Friday before what will feel like one looong weekend.😅 How often do you have foods such as cake, cookies, chocolate etc? Daily, weekly,.. never?🍩🍪🍰 Do you prefer to buy them or make them yourself – healthy or unhealthy version? Honestly, I always feel as if I treat myself all day long because even my normal everyday meals are just so yummie.😂 When it comes to foods like cake or cookies, I don’t have them too often because I eat so many sweet main meals that I don’t really crave them and - let's be real - also because I’m often just too lazy for baking, sad but true.🙈 I totally prefer the homemade versions as they often taste way better and I like the thought that someone really put love and effort into making them.💕 It feels different from going to the supermarket and just quickly buying some sweets. And of course it’s great when you can treat yourself with something that‘s made out of healthy ingredients and that‘s low in raffinated sugar, fat etc. but I also don’t mind if the food is full of oil, vegan butter, sugar and all that not too healthy stuff.😜 Eating something like this from time to time won’t kill you. If you wanna eat it, eat it! Don’t stress yourself with unhealthy thoughts about how you shouldn’t, that’s what’s truly super unhealthy for your body.
