Colombia confirmed the first case of an albino ocelot, after carrying out genetic tests on a feline with white fur and red eyes. 

The ocelot was found as a kitten, weighing just 440 grams, in the rural zone of Amalfi and was first thought to be a puma jaguarundi.

Medellin's Conservation Park undertook genetic testing on the animal, concluding it was actually a leopardus pardalis, a native species of ocelot that is found all across the Americas.

1. Seahorses are prettier in pink 🩷⁣ ⁣ The Pygmy Seahorse is one of the most captivating animals I have ever had the pleasure of meeting, and lives almost exclusively amongst the vibrant pink branches of Gorgonian corals.⁣ ⁣ This species, the Hippocampus Bargibanti, or Bargibant’s Pygmy Seahorse, is absolutely tiny. A fully grown individual is no larger than the size of a human fingernail.⁣ ⁣ Last year, I was lucky enough to meet several Pygmy Seahorses at a depth of 28m, but this year they appear to have moved to deeper water.⁣ ⁣ This individual was filmed at a depth of 35m, giving us just a couple of minutes with them whilst diving on a nitrox gas mix.⁣ ⁣ It is the almost impossible combination of depth, time constraint, their size, the colours, the camouflage, and even the difficulty to find them through the viewfinder… that make this such a rewarding animal to find, and why experiences like this only further draw me to the ocean 🩷⁣ ⁣ #pygmyseahorse #seahorse #pygmy #pink#bargibantipygmyseahorse #bargibant #uw #ocean #scuba#fish #rareanimal⁣

Sooo the drawing prompt I chose today was moose. And this is something personal to me because they are my real world unicorns (other than wolverines that are a tier above). There are supposedly 50 individual moose in the corner of Oregon I reside in and I know they migrate between the 3 states up here BUT it’s my bucket list to see a moose in Oregon, an Oregon moose if you will.

Bro I love when people draw pomni with a comically large hat in a super serious situation, like the hat will basically be engulfing her while she's about to be destroyed. It's just so funny to me for no reason.

Same here, I love giving characters someone long to whip around whenever I draw action poses !!

Sometimes they can be used as weapons, like my Pomni does!! She uses them like morning stars she can fling around and smack people with!

She can also manipulate the state of her hat too, like how elastic it is, how light/heavy she can make her hat balls, even turning them into helium balloon-like balls to fly out of danger!

(I tried to visualise it here but gave up for tonight bc its late lol - this is a WIP for something bigger and a test w her rubberhose powers too)
