I didn't plan to waste time addressing this - because I thought that people would be able to figure it out on their own - but alas - here we are.
I posted this graphic yesterday about the goals of Project 2025.
I immediately got pushback - with people asking what about my source. They said they went to the Project 2025 Document and could not find any of this in it and so immediately started accusing me of misinformation.
I understand how the page number at the top of the document could be misleading - to tell you the truth, when I posted it - I didn't even notice it.
But, this graphic is not meant to be a direct, line-by-line excerpt from Project 2025 but rather a summary of the logical outcomes of the policies advocated within the document. It functions as a key or a warning, highlighting how the values, priorities, and structural changes proposed in Project 2025 could realistically translate into restrictive policies that disproportionately impact women, particularly in terms of financial autonomy, workforce participation, and reproductive rights.
Anyway, instead of taking the time to translate the text - I dropped about a dozen links to news stories on Project 2025 and how it will affect women.
But that STILL was not enough - and the takedowns just kept coming - so I started to delete a bunch of them. Now, I have talked about this before - I often delete comments not to silence the commenter - but to silence MYSELF. If I delete your comment - it might just mean that I was about to tear into you and I wanted to stop myself.
Anyway, so many people still seem confused - so - I am going to take a deep breath and explain it.
First of all.
I am not sure the source people are using for Project 2025 - but here's what I used:
Project 2025
While the document does not outright declare the extreme policies in the graphic, it strongly aligns with the ideology that could lead to such policies if implemented aggressively. The emphasis on traditional family structures, rollback of workplace protections for women, defunding reproductive healthcare, and modifying welfare to favor marriage all create conditions where women’s autonomy—financial and otherwise—could be significantly restricted.
Here’s how the claims in the graphic relate to specific sections of Mandate for Leadership: The Conservative Promise (Project 2025), including page references for verification:
1. Financial Accounts Restructured to Prioritize Male Heads of Household
• The document emphasizes the restoration of the traditional family as the foundation of American society (pg. 12, 14).
• Economic policies are structured to prioritize married couples over individuals, encouraging a single-income household model where the husband is the primary earner (pg. 661).
2. Women’s Financial Assets Transferred to Legal Male Guardians
• There is a focus on tax incentives and retirement savings benefits that favor married couples over single individuals.
• These policies create financial structures where women, particularly stay-at-home wives, would become economically dependent on their husbands.
3. Independent Access to Credit, Loans, and Property Ownership for Unmarried Women Phased Out
• The emphasis on family-centered financial policies encourages reliance on a male head of household (pg. 14).
• While not an outright ban, tax and economic policies favoring traditional marriages could indirectly limit financial opportunities for single women (pg. 661-663).
4. Workplace Protections for Women (Maternity Leave, Pay Equity Laws) Reevaluated
• Calls for rolling back DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) initiatives, which include many pay equity laws and maternity leave protections (pg. 583).
• Labor policies should be designed to prioritize family stability over individual workforce participation (pg. 585-587).
5. Hiring Practices Adjusted to Prioritize Family Stability (Encouraging Women to Stay Home)
• The document explicitly states that workplace regulations should reinforce the traditional family and that employers should consider the role of married women in maintaining family structure when hiring (pg. 585-587).
• It promotes on-site childcare at businesses, which implies an expectation that women’s roles in the workforce should be an extension of their domestic duties (pg. 593).
6. Women’s Eligibility for Unemployment and Financial Aid Contingent on Marital Status
• Discusses reforming welfare programs to discourage single parenthood (pg. 459).
• Economic incentives should be aligned to encourage marriage and discourage single living (pg. 661-663).
7. Federal Assistance Programs (Childcare, Food Assistance) Redesigned to Encourage Traditional Family Structures
• Proposes restructuring social welfare to favor two-parent households and limit aid to single parents (pg. 459-461).
• Suggests shifting childcare subsidies away from single mothers to reinforce marriage and family dependency (pg. 663).
8. Reproductive Healthcare Funding Cut to Discourage Non-Traditional Family Planning
• Calls for cutting federal funding for reproductive healthcare, including contraception access and abortion services (pg. 451).
• Explicitly states that family planning should align with pro-life policies and that abortion and contraception funding should be significantly reduced (pg. 457-459, 465-467).
9. Government Monitoring of Women’s Financial Transactions to Ensure Compliance with Traditional Values
• While there is no explicit call for gender-based financial monitoring, there are provisions advocating for increased government oversight of financial systems to align with conservative values (pg. 661-663).
• The document argues for ensuring economic policy enforces moral and traditional values, which could be interpreted as financial monitoring to prevent spending on disapproved items (pg. 875).
10. Restrictions on Contraceptives, Travel Without Spousal Approval, and Women-Owned Businesses Outside Family Enterprises
• Proposes cutting access to contraceptives by limiting federal funding and rolling back government-supported reproductive health programs (pg. 457-459).
• Economic policies encourage family-run businesses, which could lead to discouraging independent female entrepreneurship outside of a family structure (pg. 663-665).
• While no direct mention of restricting women’s travel, the emphasis on prioritizing traditional family roles and male headship suggests policies that could indirectly discourage female autonomy in business and mobility.
The graphic is not an exaggeration but a projection of what the policies in Project 2025 could lead to when applied in practice. While the document does not explicitly say it will ban credit for women or require spousal approval for travel, it promotes a framework that rewards dependency on traditional male-led family structures and discourages female financial and personal autonomy.
I hope this helps.
Oh, and believe me now or believe me later - but if I get called out on a post and I don’t feel rock solid about it - I will delete it. So, if something stays up - there’s a reason.

I find it kind of funny that human babies are so fragile and helpless and useless that natural selection went like HARD-hard on humans finding babies cute. This thing is a wailing messy resource sinkhole so please find other reason to enjoy it. And the humans that did find baby cute and invest time in them, the crazy bastards?? Lived!!
And now there’s so much spill-over from “baby cute” gene that humans see literally any “baby” creature that even slightly resembles us, like
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
and we’re like 😍🥰🤩🥺🥺🥺 I wanna love you so bad. I wanna make so many images of you, you are so small, just baby. I’m inventing new emotions as we speak bc I love you so much.
Like, I’m almost convinced humans didn’t even domesticate dogs bc we thought they’d be useful, we saw some puppies and it activated our Big Boi Primate Baby buttons, it wasn’t even logic time baby, it was 🥺 time.

Not sure if I've told this story here before, but once upon a time, I didn't really get the point of most protests happening my area because I viewed them as "preaching to your own echo chamber" in a lot of cases. Ex: I saw people do a climate march through a very liberal university campus within a very liberal city, and I was just like "Okay, everyone here agrees with you. This place has crazy aggressive sustainability goals. What is the point of this?"
Then when Roe fell, there were a lot of protests outside the courthouses in cities near me, and though those city courthouses do serve the surrounding rural areas as well, the cities themselves are all rather progressive and left-leaning, so once again I was like "Okay, what is the point of this?" but I went anyway just for the experience. We stood on a street corner with our signs. Most people driving by honked in agreement with us. A few people yelled "abortion is murder" at us out their car windows, and we yelled back "abortion is healthcare!" Cool, okay, still didn't get the point because it's not like we were changing any minds or there in large numbers (we were no threat to any power structures), and the city already largely agreed with us.
But then we got another SUV that pulled up and yelled "abortion is murder!" at us (both husband and wife this time). Looked in the back seat, and they were traveling with their daughter who was maybe 13ish. She locked eyes with me, gave me the most serious look I've ever received, and gave us a thumbs up just above the window ledge so that her family couldn't see.
And that's the day I learned that protests are not always about threatening entrenched power structures but letting people in isolated ideological bubbles know that there are other perspectives and that if they share them, they're not alone.
