Everytime I watch tmnt 2007 I just get bitter exs but still have feelings about each other from Leo and Raph. Their just too stubborn to talk about it like normal people. Or really fight about it like normal people cause honestly the whole movie they were doing the passive aggressive mean comments type fighting till it all exploded. Leo and Raph are the type of couple who bicker/flirt all the time but make up quick. The only time is when they have serious fights and than it's either silence or passive-aggressive fights, till they explode.

Well, I can't say much about this topic since to me it's not healthy, good and balanced relationship if you argue with your partner (a lot / constantly) and say / keep that as normal. Or bicker constantly. None of that is healthy, good or balanced. You or the partner don't respect one another either when and if this happens.

Little arguments are normal, sure, but anything above that and often... No. So to me Raph's and Leo's relationship is deeper and better than "normal relationship where they argue and fight constantly". They have their argues, yes, but it's because they both are so similar to each other. They both try to be a boss, other tries to control another (which is not healthy) and other fights back (too often and too hard and over little things at times). Both bottle thoughts and feelings (anger) inside until it explodes and that leads to more harsh arguments / fights.

What I think is that that they both should learn to relax and LISTEN to each other without letting their emotions getting in the way / control them. Sit, relax, talk, listen, accept, understand, compromise, keep your partner equal to yourself etc. With that any relationship would go far, stay happy and balanced too.

Some info abt my AU: Raph still has a Kraang eye and it glows! (strangely enough..) His Kraang eye doesn't really work properly, which led to him always sleeping with it open since it doesn't close either. Leo and Raph snuggle sometimes 😋 (usually after one of them has a nightmare about the other)
