After reading more Law’s Pov’s on fics I’ve realized that sometimes people misinterpret Law a lot, if you read Law’s novel you realize that he is thoughtful, more tender than he appears to be and inclined to profound reflections about existential issues. I do think that I get why it happens as a person with PTSD, sometimes you just can’t show emotions the way you used to because part of the trauma is that there was no time to show them, no use to show them because you were surviving because you’ve seen terrible things and crying was for nothing. It served no purpose and any type of “showing emotions” was used against you so you just learned to repress them so hard that it became impossible to show them. You learn to rationalize and micro analyse everything because your fucking life can depend on you hability to do so. So yeah I get that many people people would look at you and misinterpret you as “not caring”  or “cold” because you might be running thousands equations thinking about the risks of trusting someone, since you are so low energy you literally can’t afford another pseudoargument or anything that would just make you lose any more times because you never had time to begin with. It is living in borrowed time every single minute expecting the other shoe to drop. Anyway, I’m not comparing my trauma to Law’s his is way bigger than mine, but the little things, yeah I get them.

People who criticize others for disliking the changes of Greek mythology when gods are twisted to look like some sort or final villain boss fight video game I honestly wanna see how the reactions would be if someone created a biblical musical where the Pharaoh of Egypt takes revenge against God of Israelites for killing the first born of Egypt by smiting him with his own sword or justice and claim he does it for his people while God begs for mercy.

This chapter is super nostalgic for me, since this is where I caught up to the weekly serialization. People were going insane trying to figure out Duval's connection to the Straw Hats, and I have to say that this design goes so hard it makes the reveal a million times funnier than it already is

Random one piece shower thought

So we remember how Hiriluk wanted to make cherry blossoms bloom as he would firmly believe this would save the nation/"heal the country". My thinking is, he thought it would bring something akin to hope, or like a balm for the soul, so to speak, as cherry blossoms healed him, when he was depressed.

Chopper's endgame is to become a doctor that can cure all diseases. But there's only so much he can physically do, like surgeries and producing medicine. But what about diseases of the soul?

Well, now he's on Luffy's/Sun God Nika's crew. Sun God Nika, the Warrior of Liberation, who would liberate the oppressed and bring smiles to everyone's faces. Sun God Nika, who would bring freedom and hope, or in the sense of what Hiriluk believed: a cure for a diseased soul.

Luffy/Nika will be the last element for Chopper to reach his goal of being able to cure all diseases.

And it makes even more sense, at least to me, that Nika would first appear in Wano, aka the country where actual cherry blossoms bloom. Because even while the cherry blossoms of Drum/Sakura were beautiful, they were still just an imitation of what Hiriluk claimed to have healed him. So, in Wano, Chopper has found Hiriluk's "true cure, that can heal anything", in the form of cherry blossoms and Nika.

Vergo is by far my least favorite One Piece villain. I find him douchy in such an unfun way, thank goodness Mont and Caesar are there to even things out.

Imma be honest, at first I had NO idea that Law was 26 entire years old. I learned his official age in a comment on a Pinterest post, like, I was none the wiser.

I admit that I can see it post time skip, especially in Punk Hazard and Zou. (He was just a twink in Dressrosa. A foolish twink.)

NAW. When he showed up I guessed that he was like 18, 19, maybe 20. But 24?!?! Really?!?! I don’t have a problem with his age or anything I was just genuinely shocked!

I find it so amusing that this goofy emo dude is a full grown adult man. With full on medical expertise and everything. Love that for him.
