Cyno has a clear soft spot for Collei and was the one to seal the archon residue for her (which I assume was because Lisa knew he’d suffered similar circumstances of divine possession when he was younger), and he placed her in the care of his most trusted friend where he knew she’d be looked after and be able to follow her dreams. Collei herself has made a lot of progress in being around Cyno despite the memories of the sealing, and even though he could’ve been considered as nothing more than her benefactor and her teacher’s friend, they’re still close! He and Tighnari even taught her their code from their school days! Also, with the context from story quest act 2, him helping Collei when they met really reads as him paying forward the protection and care Cyrus gave him as a child. The mantle of fatherhood is a heavy one but one he carries gladly..

Tonight, the meticulously trimmed gardens of Magister Papinia Arcadius were filled to the brim with Tevinter’s elite, most already deep into their cups by this point. Even inebriated, the party’s guests still had those sharp looks in their eyes. Not even alcohol could stop the great magisters of Minrathous from having their own ulterior motives.

Not that Dorian was much different, though he suspected that his ulterior motive was quite different than that of his peers. He had his suspicions that someone in Papinia’s circle, possibly even Papinia herself, had connections to the Venatori. Unfortunately, suspicions were not enough to act on, they needed evidence. When her grand party arose, he knew it would be the chance for distraction enough to find that evidence. Magister Dorian Pavus couldn’t be seen snooping around however, but he had friends in places who could. Though it would be helpful if he knew who he was looking out for. All he managed to pry out of Maevaris was the assurance that the Shadow Dragons would have a man on the inside.

He refocused on the conversation he was having with a fellow magister. Conversation was polite, actually, given that the man was talking at Dorian more than anything. Absentmindedly, he plucked a new drink from the nearest tray that came by. In the midst of thinking of ways to gracefully exit this conversation, he lifted the cup to his mouth, but paused at the sight of something floating within. 

He looked up, attempting to spot the slave who had been carrying the tray. The gardens twisted and turned, and no one who wasn’t a magister dared to tear their gaze from the ground except for一there. The only one brave enough to make eye contact with him. Deep blue eyes, curled brown hair, and the telltale pointed ears of an elf poking through the strands. Their eye contact lasted barely a second, but it was enough for him to confirm that she was the one he was looking for.

A few more careful sips and he was able to discern what was on the now wine-soaked paper. A set of directions, simple arrows but enough to lead him to meet the contact. When he finally managed to pry himself away from his one sided conversation, he realized that the elf was nowhere to be seen in the crowd. 

Dorian wove his way through the gardens and into the mansion proper. While most of the party was happening in the gardens, he wasn’t surprised to see a few guests lingering indoors. Whether they were relieving themselves from the social games of Tevinter’s elite or furthering them by sneaking away to plot and scheme, he frankly couldn’t care less. He had his own meeting to attend, after all.

The note led him to a sitting room, one that seemed empty when he first entered. Then, a breeze at the back of his neck. At first, he glanced towards the windows, which were latched shut.

“Tell me, magister, do you stand with us?” Came a voice behind him.

Dorian sighed. “Shadows stand together.” He recited the coded answer. “Was all of this truly necessary?”

As he turned, the Shadow Dragon laughed. “Well, I’d be a poor Shadow if I didn’t recognize the Dorian Pavus. Still, I had to be certain.” She responded, readjusting the cloak she wore over her servant’s uniform to show her face under the hood. “I’ve already located Arcadius’ office. If there is anything damning, chances are it’ll be there. No one should be in the eastern wing with the party, but we should move quickly regardless.” She said. Turning on her heel, she  led him out of the room and down the winding halls of the magister’s estate. Like any magister’s home, there was opulence abound, and this would be the only way she could see it.

Dorian kept pace with her. “Have we met before?” He wondered.

There was a small grin on her lips. “Can’t say I’ve had the pleasure of introducing myself, but I’ve seen you around the Shop on occasion. You can call me Rook.” 

“Rook…” He moved the name around in mouth. “I have heard of you, your moody Templar has talked about you.” 

“Tarquin? I’m sure he’s had only shining words for me.” Rook laughed. “We’re here. Now, Magister, if you’d please?” She stopped in front of a door, gesturing to him.

He raised an immaculate brow. “You haven’t already tried?” He asked.

Rook rolled her eyes. “If I could, I’d have already done it. This… lovely door here is warded. Even if I tried to open it the old fashioned way, Arcadius would certainly be notified and chances are my hand would explode or I would be transformed into a bunch of snakes. And, I’ll have you know, I do quite enjoy having both of my hands and not being a bunch of snakes. As I am decidedly ungifted like the great magisters of Tevinter, this is where一”

Her words were interrupted by the minute sound of something breaking, like shattering glass. Dorian turned the handle of the door, having already untangled the ward. “You do like to talk, don’t you?” He said. In a way, she reminded him of a certain dwarven storyteller.

“So I’ve heard.” Rook retorted, slipping into the office, Dorian hot on her heels. While he lit up the office with a wave of his hand, she settled at the ornate desk and got to work. “So, do you think it’s Arcadius herself or one of her little friends?” She asked.

Dorian snorted. “Both is the most likely answer, Rook. If my colleagues aren’t Venatori themselves, they are quietly supporting.” He responded, poking around the bookshelves. Unfortunately, most Venatori were smart and didn’t leave their world-conquering plans on neatly written lists out in the open. That would make their job easier.

There was quiet for a few minutes before a low whistle escaped Rook’s mouth. “Well, well, someone had too much faith in her ward. Nothing here is secured.” And out of one of the desk drawers came a bound book. A quick flip through the pages revealed columns of large sums, a ledger. As much as she wanted to spirit away the whole book, it would be entirely too suspicious if it disappeared. Instead, Rook pulled a set of blank papers from her cloak and began copying the information. “What say you, Magister? Excessively large sums of money being ‘donated’ to unmarked sources? I doubt Arcadius has had a sudden change of heart to push for a better Tevinter.” She commented wryly. 

Dorian couldn’t help but watch Rook work. Her handwriting was quick, yet impeccably neat, the signs of a good education. Not someone the Shadows plucked off the streets then. Military, if he had to hazard a guess. He wondered…

“Mercar?” He spoke up, and Rook jolted, a thick black line of ink across the paper she was writing on. Well, if that didn’t confirm his suspicions. 

Rook gave him a dry look, unamused by his triumphant discovery. “What about it?” She asked breezily, finishing up with her writing and standing to meet Dorian. The challenge in her tone was obvious.

He smiled, smug. “Just good to see your old man followed through, is all.” He remembered it clearly. It was him who first reached out to the Legatus to garner military support for the Shadow Dragons. Imagine his surprise when, a short time later, the Legatus would reach out to him for further assistance. Something about a Venatori son and a daughter whom he wanted to protect. It wasn’t a far reach to assume that Rook was the daughter in question.

“Bravo, Magister Pavus, you do know who I am. And as much as I would love to catch up about my family, now is一” She stopped short, her head whipping towards the closed door. Quickly, silently, she covered Dorian’s mouth with one hand and her own with the other. The look in her eyes made her message clear, do not say one word. He quickly flicked his hand once more, and the lights of the office dimmed to near darkness.

The pair waited in tense silence for it to be safe. The seconds stretched on, feeling more like hours. Finally, Rook nodded once and released her hands.

“You said no one would be in this wing.” Dorian recalled.

“I did, and there shouldn’t be, which means we need to go. Hopefully, what we did get is enough to work on.” She said. “You’ll need to re-cast the ward, I’ll keep watch.” 

The two of them quickly ushered themselves out of the office, shutting the door and letting Dorian do his thing. “A word of advice, Rook?” He spoke up as he wove the magic back into place. “Magisters Eliphas and Gavros haven’t left Papinia’s side all night. If this information is good, I would suggest looking into them.” He offered. Perks of having to wait around the party for her.

Rook gave him a grateful nod. “I’ll let our mutual friends know. Do enjoy the rest of the party, Magister Pavus.” With a bowed flourish, she headed in the opposite direction of the party, towards a nearby window. Once she was safely out of sight, Dorian began winding back through the estate. And, if anyone cared to ask, he simply got distracted admiring the architecture.

rana's birthday!

i drew this for ranas (the brunette) birthday! this was very rushed and i forgot highlights so they look a little off but i'll probably post rana and a more in depth backstory, but i'll summarize it real quick:

rana went through something traumatic on her 17th birthday and ran away from home. she created a new identity (rana) and moved to another state, for now i've settled on california. she meets a group of girls who are all rooming together and she decides to join since it's not too expensive. she meets vicky, a friend of one of the girls who is living with her toxic boyfriend (which i will get more into in another post) and they quickly become very close. because the 2 are in such vulnerable spots, they connect easily and open up to each other. they're seeking intimacy they don't get, and they find it in each other. in this photo, it's rana's birthday and her and vicky went out to celebrate. as i said before, i'll get more into rana's backstory and family life in another post, as well as vicky's (although my first post is about her)

Locations in Sapporo

things in my personal life has calmed down somewhat for the time being so I figured I'd write up an easy lore post that I completely forgot I could make so here we are

I wanted to list some common locations found in Sapporo as featured in Vocal Android! I haven't actually talked about the setting too much and while I'm kinda bad at designing locations, I figured I could at least talk about them a little

But, yeah, I'll do my best to explain, so some lore under the cut?

Crypton Laboratories HQ/Crypton Towers: The place where the CVs live and where Meiko and Kaito work. A huge white, gray, and cyan building shaped like a C if you look at it from above, it's home to Crypton's various research labs. The building has floors entirely dedicated to be Miku, the twins and Luka's living spaces, and they each have their own color-coded rooms and living areas. There's a recording and dance studio in the building for the CVs to do their idol work and music playing, as well as a virtual reality training room. There's also the CVs' very own superhero base of sorts, which Gumi helped design, and allows the crew to oversee the city in case danger makes itself known (it's also a convenient place to hang out and take a nap). There's also a sizeable garage below the building, where Rin keeps the road roller.

Kenmochi Academy High School: Miku, Rin and Len's school. A large, clean campus made of three V-shaped buildings with their points pointing towards each other and hexagon-shaped windows. A pretty high-bar school with a lot of recent technology, it's one of the more popular and well-known high schools in town (and thus, an excellent candidate for Meiko's goal of having the CVs interact with humans their age). It is headed by Principal Sasaki. (Current Student List: Hatsune Miku, Kagamine Rin and Len, Kobayashi Matcha, Masaoka Azuki, Yumemi Nemu, Hibiki Lui, Akira Kano/Arsloid, Otomachi Una, Sato Sasara, Suzuki Tsudumi, Kokone Aime, Kizuna Akari, Futaba Minato, Hoshino Ichika, Tenma Saki, Hinomori Shiho, Mochizuki Honami, Koharu Rikka (formerly), Suzune Ring)

Ichikawa Academy High School: Gumi's school, a high school on the eastern side of the city. It's a more "normal" high school, less flashy than Kenmochi and looking more typical, but still has a few good programs to its name, including its science program (which Gumi tries to participate in). (Current Student List: Megumi "Gumi" Nakashima, Kotonoha Akane and Aoi, Tohoku Zunko, Gahata Meiji, Kamishiro Rui, Kusanagi Nene, Tenma Tsukasa, AiSuu, Tsuina-chan)

Utahako Elementary School: The local elementary school a block or two away from Kenmochi. It's a modest little elementary school, having been newly refurbished from an older building. Many of the students that go there end up graduating to Kenmochi later. Kiyoteru teaches here. (Current Student List: Kaai Yuki, Oliver Twitchell, Rana, Macne Petit, Tohoku Kiritan, Otomachi Unagi, Ryuuto Nakashima)

The Macne Cafe: A fresh-looking little internet cafe that sits in the town plaza and is the CVs' favorite hangout spot. Established by the Macne Family, it's become slowly but surely known around town for its delicious green apple cheesecake and desserts. Nana has been trying various ways to spread their customer base further.

The V5: A swanky nightclub and bar that is also in the plaza, run by four friends: Amy, Chris, Kaori and Ken. Many of the adult characters come there to drink and chat a bit.

UTAU Studios: A record label company and radio studio stationed in the industry hub of town, notable for its large staff and loooong list of talents. The studio runs a daily radio broadcast that's fairly popular, and their top talent is Namine Ritsu (or it was, anyway).

Sapporo University: The local college. A bit of an older building since it's been there basically forever compared to a lot of the rest of futuristic city. Has a small, colorful dormitory community next to it where students stay. (Current Student List: Galaco, Po-uta, Tsurumaki Maki, Shirosaki Yuudai; Utatane Piko isn't a student but he lives there)

Kamukura Shrine: A humble shrine that's only a little ways away from the beach, and is where most of the cast goes for holiday celebrations (such as New Years). It's headed by Kigashima Sourin and his protégés, Kurono Takehiro, Wakamatsu Akashi, Aoyama Ryuusei and Shirakami Koutarou, who are training to be proper priests. They also have their shrine maiden, a fussy teenage girl named Lumi who claims to be a jellyfish kami from the sea. Her antics tend to bring a lot of visitors.

SEKAI Auditorium: A venue a few blocks away from Crypton HQ and the main place where Miku and friends perform locally. Very spacious and known to host tons of acts, including smaller ones like local bands, singers and theater shows. Also functions as a sort of convention center at times. However, it's tendency to get raided by supervillains (mostly in pursuit of Miku and co.) has given it a bit of a weird reputation.

The Nebula: A recently-established nightclub in the plaza run by American DJ CYBER DIVA (and her partner CYBER SONGMAN), who is also the headlining act of the place. Used to have a bit of a rivalry with Miku, but they're both over it. Gets a lot of younger customers than the ones at the V5.

Dr. Momone's House: A modern house in a quiet neighborhood next to the industrial part of town where Dr. Momone, Momo and Defoko live. Their neighbors consist of Yufu (who lives down the lane), Eru (who lives at the far end of the lane), Tsukishiro Hakupo and his servant bot Kunishiki (who live next door) and Sensei.

Gumi's Apartment: Gumi, Gakupo and Ryuuto's small apartment in a building not too far from Crypton HQ. Not the nicest apartment that ever was, but it's homey.

Gin no Hana: A old-fashioned restaurant that has reasonable business and is popular due to the comfy atmosphere. Managed by Ginsaki and his wife, Koharu.

The Old Soul Theater: An old theater in town that's mainly still in the city for the sake of preservation, but still has small plays and acts now and again. Has been turned into an acting school of sorts by Miriam Stocks, a theater connoisseur.

Ruko's candy shop: A hole-in-the-wall shop in an alleyway managed by Yokune Ruko, where they sell candy, snacks and cheap cups of drip coffee. Totally not shady in the slightest. Is almost constantly out of coffee-flavored hard candy because Ruko keeps eating it.

Meiko's apartment: Meiko's home, a simple apartment in a simple complex where she crashes after a long day at the lab. The CVs have never been to it.

Day 26 - Oxygen mask / Poisoning

Fetch didn't just like to smoke, he needed it. He wasn't afraid to admit it was an addiction, but it was the lesser of two evils, so he allowed himself to have this one thing. Was it still unhealthy? Of course, but he would worry about that when he was older and hopefully less stressed due to work, or his idiot teenage roommate getting himself into trouble.

Actually Erick was fine now. He survived hospital, and they managed to get out without raising any suspicions. It definitely helped that Fetch's mob friend bribed some staff and covered the bill generously, but that now meant that Fetch owed him, and he had to visit his mansion in Nevada to come to an agreement about how he would pay him back.

He let Erick tag along. He was well enough to move around again, though the journey did take a lot out of him, Fetch hoped Tito might have a task or two for him too. It was his medical bill after all.

But Tito wasn't comfortable sending him on any assignments while he was still recovering, instead suggesting that he could stay and tutor his daughter again while Fetch did a couple of simple jobs to return the favour.

"I feel like I should be doing more," Erick said, fumbling with the hem of his shirt a bit.

"I appreciate that, Erick, but frankly you look like you should still be in bed," Tito said.

"He wanted to come," Fetch said unprompted, sitting back in his chair while pulling out his pack of cigarettes, "do you mind?"

"No, go ahead," Tito said, even pulling an ashtray from his desk drawer and placing it near the edge so Fetch could reach it.

However, as Fetch opened his pack, all he found was a plastic lighter inside. Great. He'd forgotten to buy a new pack on their last stop on the way to the mansion.

"Oh dear, did you run out?" Tito asked, "I'm sure Jonas can procure some before we finish this meeting."

He looked at his assistant, just as he was actively frowning, looking as if his boss had asked him to do something incredibly foul.

"Give me...ten minutes," Jonas finally said, putting his tablet on the cabinet behind the desk before leaving.

Fetch couldn't help but to smirk. He and Jonas did not get along, so any time Tito made one do something for the other, they would revel in it. Erick rolled his eyes a little at Fetch's smug expression. He didn't like Jonas either, but he couldn't help but to feel sorry for him, given that he didn't even have a chance to say no. And he knew what that felt like.

"Erick, why don't you go say hi to Giulia while I finish up with Fetcher?" Tito suggested, "you still remember the way to her room, right?"

"Of course," Erick said, getting up, "thanks, Mr Rana."

Tito smiled as the boy left, before turning back to Fetch.

"Always so polite," he said, "now then..."

They went over a couple of jobs together, discussing which and how many Fetch would do without pay to make up for the bribe and medical bill. It was a bit of a puzzle, so Fetch was almost happy when Jonas returned, but mostly because he tossed him a new pack of Marlboro red, and he didn't even think twice before lighting one.

In the end they decided on two consecutive assignments that Fetch could handle on his own, while Erick fulfilled the third by doing different work around the mansion, starting with making sure Tito's daughter wouldn't fail her maths class.

When it was time for him to set out, he waited by the fountain in the driveway while smoking another cigarette. He wanted to see Erick before leaving, feeling like he should remind him to behave while he wasn't there to look after him. He spotted the boy coming out through the front door and waved him over. Erick thanked the guard that held the door open for him and hurried to Fetch's side.

"So what did Mr Rana say?" he asked as soon as he was within earshot.

"We can pay him back in three jobs," Fetch said, "two of which— cough! Two of which I'll do, and the third one is for you."

He looked down at his cigarette, wondering if he was imagining the odd aftertaste.

"Which is to help Giulia with her homework?" Erick asked.

"And whatever else they ask you to do," Fetch said, "does this thing smell weird to you?"

"...it stinks as much as usual," Erick said with a shrug.

Fetch just tossed the remaining and still-burning half of the cigarette at him. Erick didn't even have to dodge, simply bending over with a sigh to press it out before picking it up.

"I don't think Mr Rana would like it very much if you littered his driveway," he said.

"Shut up— cough! Who asked you?"

Fetch coughed a bit more. Erick nearly considered making a comment on his smoking, if it hadn't turned into a coughing fit. Instead he pocketed the cigarette so he could throw it away later before trying to get Fetch to sit on the edge of the fountain.

"Are you okay, sir?"

Fetch just shoved him away as he sat down, shaking his head as he continued to cough.

"Cough! Water— Van..."

Erick nodded, quickly heading towards Fetch's van to find him some water. As soon as there was enough distance between them, Fetch forced himself to cough a bit harder, hoping to clear whatever was bothering him, only to end up hacking up a handful of blood.

"...The fuck—"

"Fetch?"

Fetch looked up, getting a good look at Erick's shocked face before the dark void in the corner of his eyes suddenly and rapidly took over him. His vision returned as fast as it disappeared, but it was blurry. He was looking up at the sky, his ears ringing, a familiar blonde figure hovering over him.

Honestly, Erick wasn't even entirely sure what to do, but he was running on autopilot as he rushed to Fetch's side. He was coughing up more blood, so he yanked on his arm to roll him onto his side, before remembering that he could also call for help.

The mansion had so much staff, there was always someone within earshot, and before he knew it they were surrounded by people to help. And of course the commotion attracted even more people. Erick had to step back in the end, trying to stay calm as he watched the guards trying to get Fetch to his feet so they could take him inside to see their medic.

"Oh my, whatever happened here?"

Erick looked up finding that Jonas had joined them. Of course he would come to gloat...and then it hit him.

"You did this to him," Erick said.

He could've sworn Jonas smirked before looking at him with the usual smug expression.

"I haven't the faintest idea what you're talking about."

"Oh fuck off!" Erick said, "I know you did something to him!"

"Maybe it's his smoking habit finally catching up with him~"

"You gave him those cigarettes, you son of a bitch!"

However, before Erick got the chance to even consider shaking the truth out of him, Jonas had already snapped his fingers and one of the guards grabbed the teen from behind, forcing him down onto his knees.

"What you're insinuating is preposterous," Jonas said, "Mr Rana would have my head— Which is of course the only reason I would never, but a very good reason nonetheless."

"You go behind his back all the time!" Erick argued.

"Whatever gave you that idea?" Jonas said, "I can't have you spreading those ideas around...take him to the basement."

"What about Fetcher?" Another guard asked.

"He stopped breathing, Jonas!"

"Well, I suppose we could call the medic," Jonas said, "take him inside. And silence the boy on his way down."

Erick's eyes widened and he tried to pull away from the guard, but he didn't have the strength to free himself and he could only watch as they dragged Fetch away, blood dripping down his chin and onto his shirt.

"N-no! Fetch— Let go, Ben! Fetch!!"

"Sorry, bud, Jonas calls the shots," Ben just said, pulling Erick back to his feet and heading after Fetch.

However, once inside they parted ways. The last Erick saw of Fetch was him being dragged up the stairs, while he himself was shoved through a door leading down another stairwell.

"Ben! Ben, please! Jonas poisoned Fetch somehow!" Erick bargained, "it's probably the cigarettes! He said they tasted weird! Test them!"

"That's above my pay grade, man," Ben said, grunting a bit as he had to both stop the teen from escaping as well as making sure they didn't both fall down the stairs.

"Oh grow a pair!" Erick snapped, "If Fetch dies his blood will be on your hands too!"

"Calm down, I'm sure the medic will do whatever he can," Ben said, patient as ever, "Jonas can't keep you down here forever either. Just consider it a time-out."

"Screw you, Ben!"

Venatori: Wrong turn? Nice relic. Shouldn't it belong to the Venatori?

Rook: Not a chance!

A bunch of Venatori appear and attack them. The party defeats them.

Neve: Oh, looks like we have company.

A woman approaches them.

Rana: Is everyone all right? I— Neve. You're back in the city.

Neve: Templar Rana Savas. Don't say you missed me.

Rana: I wasn't going to.

Neve: Really? Because I heard there's a relic loose. With red lyrium…

Rana: How do you—never mind. You "can't say." You never can.

Neve: Rook, meet my friend Rana. At least I think we're friends.

Rana: (Sighs) Yes. And Rook. If you're with Neve, I take it I can trust you.

Rana: Not if you help. There's a rumor the relic trades hands tonight—and Albin Bataris is the buyer.

Neve: A magister's son? Interesting. I should get moving.

Rana: Neve.

Neve: What can I say? Work to do.

Rana: Where are you going?

Neve: For a walk to the Spillway.

Rana: I'll catch up when I'm done.

Neve: If you say so.

Rana walks away.

Neve: Our trail is frayed, but the Spillway's our best bet. Let's go.

If Rook talks to Rana again:

Rana: I'll make sure there's no one else here. Rana: I'll catch up when I can.

Rook starts to head towards the spillway.

Rook: Rana's not a Shadow Dragon. So you work with templars too?

Neve: Rana's clean and her information's good. The rest? Only when I have to.

Rook: And the Spillway?

Neve: Rana mentioned Albin Bataris. And she doesn't share rumors unless they're likely. Albin's father oversaw some construction there. If he's visiting this part of town, that narrows the search.

They find a barrier blocking the way.

Neve: A barrier. They don't want people getting near the deal. Find the unshielded crystals and we're through.

Rook starts to hit the crystals.

Rook: That’s one down.

Neve: Must be one left.

Rook takes down all the crystals.

Neve: That's it. We can cut through the barrier now.

They break through the barrier and keep traveling up the path.

Neve: We need to keep moving.

They reach some kind of structure further in.

Neve: Voices. There's someone up ahead.

Smuggler: Albin Bataris. Your relic.

Albin: Gods rise and power with them. For the glory of Tevinter reborn.

Neve: Albin's our buyer—and a Venatori. Sounds like the cult is working for the gods.

Smuggler: You're supposed to wait.

Albin: Just a taste of that power…

(Explosion)

Neve: He's using it now? Move! We need to get closer. We can't let him bolt.

i was a huge fan of rana but the way she was released was so fucking weird she never really picked up steam. i know *Luna used her, she's not TOTALLY obscure but especially in recent years she's pretty much been forgotten. she's still one of my favorites in my heart

mew and kokone are nostalgic for me because of two old friends i had in my early fandom days really liking them, but that about covers the extent of that

i will always have a soft spot in my heart for avanna because of porter robinson, and on that note i actually really like po-uta lol

if i'm being 100% honest i've never really super attached to any vocalsynth that doesn't at least have SOME semi-standard usage, which may be kinda basic bitch lame of me but the process of me getting attached to vsynths is Usually a slower one that builds off of fanon and music/art instead of me just listening to a voice i like and deciding That's My Blorbo Now so i don't have a super interesting answer here, i'm sorry! </3

Kyle O'Reilly is backstage with Renee!!! I could cry just looking at him!! He says he has nothing but love for the Undisputed Kingdom, but he thought he might never wrestle again, and now that he is back, he has to choose which path to take. Teaming with his friends would be the easy path, so he has to do this on his own now. Hype!!!

Schiavone introduces the Bucks. Schiavone mentions the ass-kicking they got at Revolution. Nick freaks out. They tell Schiavone to get the hell out of their ring. Matt announces that Hangman Page is suspended from the Elite without pay for putting his hands on two refs at Revolution. And Kenny, who hasn't made any of his dates lately for no apparent reason, is fired from the Elite. Lmao. Eddie Kingston comes out to shut them up. Then Okada's music hits!!! HE IS HERE!!!!!! AAAAHHHHHH!!! Okada lays Eddie out with a Rainmaker!!! WTF!!!!!!!!! The Bucks announce that Okada is the newest member of the Elite!!! Wow!!!!!!!! Didn't see that coming, but it has great potential, especially if Omega ever gets back. What a great segment and introduction for Okada.

Kris Statlander vs. Riho -- Really great match here. Loved the contrast of Stat's power and Riho's quickness. Rating: 3.5

Schiavone introduces Darby, who enters with the tag titles and without Sting for the first time in what feels like forever. I am emotional. Darby says that he said he would stop at nothing to make sure Sting got the retirement he deserved, and he feels like he did that. He says he was homeless five years ago, but last weekend he main evented one of AEW's biggest pay-per-view events with the Icon Sting. He says he is preparing to climb Mount Everest at the end of the month, and he may not come back alive, so just in case, he wants to thank the fans for making this dream of wrestling possible for him. He says he is relinquishing the tag titles, rather than finding a new partner, because he cannot replace the Icon. 🥺

Jay White comes out. He says Darby jumping off the ladder and going through the glass at Revolution was stupid. He left Sting to fight the Bucks in a two on one situation. Jay asks what is Darby without Sting? A little lost puppy with no one to hold his leash. Jay says he doesn't need to wrestle Darby next week, instead Darby can hang out with the Bang Bang Scissor Gang. They already have a nickname for him, Darby Scissorhands. Darby asks if Jay is done. He says Jay main evented the Tokyo Dome twice and won titles all over the world, but since coming AEW, he has done nothing but play with cardboard cut-outs. Darby doesn't believe the hype. Darby will see Jay at Big Business, and if Jay is as good as he says, he will come alone. Nice segment here!!

Will Ospreay vs. Kyle Fletcher -- Fantastic back and forth here with lots of nearfalls between two guys who know each other very well. Ospreay finally gets the pinfall with an avalanche poison rana and a Hidden Blade!! Awesome match. Rating: 4

Come sa bene chi frequenta il locale, Fam Desenzano è un hot spot da frequentare all'ora dell'aperitivo, che qui emoziona sempre per la vista sul lago... e pure per i cocktail. E poi Fam Desenzano è un ristorante, all'altezza delle aspettative dei più esigenti. Ccco un appetitoso accenno al menu. Tra i piatti ecco Pancia di maiale, sfilacciato di maiale croccante, polenta fritta e sorbetto alla mela verde, un equilibrio di sapori tutto da scoprire. Oppure, Coniglio, foie gras glassato al cioccolato bianco, mugnoli selvatici e finocchio… O ancora, Ravioli fatti in casa con mousseline di rana pescatrice al pepe rosa, consommè di branzino, vongole e cime di rapa. E ovviamente, carne alla griglia.

Al Fam,  a Desenzano (BS) va poi in scena da qualche settimana un menu tutto nuovo, che spazia dal pesce fresco alla carne alla griglia. E dopo cena, oltre a cocktail e drink, spesso ecco eventi musicali e non pieni di stile. Nello "slang" americano, Fam sta per famiglia, non solo come nucleo vero e proprio, ma indica un gruppo di amici legati tra loro da una stessa passione comune. La professionalità dei fratelli Guidetti, che insieme gestiscono il locale, si rispecchia proprio in questo termine che oltre a rimandare all'affiatamento della loro famiglia numerosa.
