Okay reblog if you’re an artist who STRONGLY PREFERS reblogs with commentary

People are apparently under the impression that reblogging someone’s art and adding a comment is frowned upon and that can’t possibly be true, every artist I know of sees a reblog-comment as like the ultimate definitive reward for their hard work.

Obviously don’t feel bad for NOT adding a comment if you’re shy or just don’t know what to say, but if there’s something you would like to say about a drawing you’ve liked enough to reblog, I’m pretty sure most artists crave hearing it.

answering ur question, honestly i feel like soyogi is really cool. like i'd probably hate him and everything he does but i like how you made him act! btw, could u say what's his relationship with his creations or is that spoiler territory lol, im kinda curious but i understand if you can't answer that!! also, maybe dex and daina?? i feel like they were not made to be the big villains but rather this duo thats more a nuisance(?) at best. and i love this type of antagonist so much. ofc i could be absolutely wrong but thats the vibe i have of these two!

thank you for answering ;v; tbch I'm legit so (pleasantly) surprised that people like how I've made Soyogi so far, I've been having a lot of fun XD (I think I was slightly worried because Soyogi's a more obscure character than most and I'm always self-conscious about how I write characters...so hearing that I'm doing a good job so far with him makes me happy hehe)

Also! To answer your question, hmmm it's complicated XD Soyogi's relationship with the Voisonas is weird because, how do I put it...he's less like a "father figure" to them and more like an aloof sort of manager?? He's nice enough to them as it gets him what he wants (their obedience) but he doesn't care to look at them the way Meiko and Kaito look at the CVs. Or at least this is what he tells himself, as I like to think he ends up growing a soft spot for Chis-A in particular due to her innocent yet sincere belief in him (although the idea of such a thing really heckin grinds his gears because if he starts to care for her like a daughter then he knows he would be a hypocrite for looking down on Meiko caring for Miku like that)

also no, Dex and Daina were not meant to be huge antagonists at all XDDD in terms of the rogues gallery they are just common crooks/bullies that happen to have animal powers (and talismans on Daina's part) :> I noticed some other folks mentioning them in response to my question too, which makes me happy XD I love silly villains as well

Although he mainly interacts with Meiko, he's met Kaito before as Kaito and Meiko are often together; Soyogi's civil to his face (at least at first) but he thinks Kaito is an idiot and finds the fact that Meiko is attracted to him hilarious.

Alongside his intelligence, he actually is a pretty gifted singer, although he doesn't sing/do music much himself.

I don't have a lengthy backstory for him or anything (not yet at least) but I like to think he grew up in a strict family with a lot of expectations at his back.

For some odd reason, Miku's attempts to read his true feelings usually come up as static. (She also does genuinely want to figure out what his deal is, which pisses him off.)
