This is soo good.
Not so long ago I think I posted about fanfic appreciation, in the topic of fanfic this will definitely be useful ❤️
Thank you for your work transcribing it for us 😊
If finished, it would be a great source. 👍
Conversations with Cullen 1: Cullen is a Busy Man
Note: So far, I have only been through this conversation with a female Dalish mage and a male human warrior. There may be other gender/race/class-specific dialogue missing.
The PC approaches Cullen while he’s training recruits.
Cullen (to recruit): “You there! There’s a shield in your hand. Block with it. If this man were your enemy, you’d be dead.”
Cullen (to his lieutenant): “Lieutenant, don’t hold back. The recruits must prepare for a real fight, not a practice one.”
Lieutenant: “Yes, Commander.” (Salutes and leaves)
Cullen (to you): “We’ve received a number of recruits – locals from Haven and some pilgrims. None made quite the entrance you did.”
[Go to 1]
1: Dialogue Options:
General: I’m glad I’m here. [Go to 2]
General: I like to stand out. [Go to 3]
General: It wasn’t my choice. [Go to 4]
2: General: I’m glad I’m here. PC: “I just hope I can help.” Cullen: “As do we all. It is enough that you would try.” [Go to 5]
3: General: I like to stand out. PC: “At least I got everyone’s attention.” Cullen: “That you did.” [Go to 5]
4: General: It wasn’t my choice. PC: “That wasn’t my idea.” Cullen: “I’d be concerned if it was.” [Go to 5]
5: Conversation continues:
Cullen and PC begin a walk and talk ala The West Wing.
Cullen: “I was recruited to the Inquisition in Kirkwall, myself. I was there during the mage uprising – I saw firsthand the devastation it caused.”
A soldier trails along behind them.
Soldier: “Ser!” (Hands Cullen a report.)
Cullen: “Cassandra sought a solution. When she offered me a position, I left the templars to join her cause. Now it seems we face something far worse.” (Glances at report.)
Dialogue Options:
General: I believe the mark will help. [Go to 6]
General: Everything’s a mess. [Go to 7]
General: You trust in the Inquisition? [Go to 8]
6: General: I believe the mark will help. PC: “I must have this mark for a reason. It will work. I’m sure of it.” Cullen: “Provided we can secure aid – but I’m confident we can.” [Go to 9]
7: General: Everything’s a mess. PC: “The Conclave destroyed, a giant hole in the sky – things aren’t looking good.” Cullen: “Which is why we’re needed.” [Go to 9]
8: General: You trust in the Inquisition? PC: “You left the templars for this. You believe the Inquisition can work?” Cullen: “I do.” [Go to 9]
9: Conversation continues:
Cullen: “The Chantry lost control of both templars and mages. Now they argue over a new Divine while the Breach remains. The Inquisition could act when the Chantry cannot. Our followers would be part of that. There’s so much we can– Forgive me. I doubt you came here for a lecture.”
Dialogue Options:
Flirt: I like your enthusiasm. [Go to 10]
General: I don’t mind. [Go to 11]
General: You’ve thought this through. [Go to 12]
General: No, not really. [Go to 13]
10: Flirt: I like your enthusiasm. PC: “No, but if you have one prepared I’d love to hear it.” Cullen: (Laughs.) “Another time perhaps.” PC: (Smiles awkwardly) Cullen: “I, ah…” (Clears throat.) [Go to 14]
11: General: I don’t mind. PC: “You understand our situation. I appreciate your opinion.” Cullen: “Look around. Our people are well-organized and committed. Despite what the clerics may think, we’re in the best position to help.” [Go to 14]
12: General: You’ve thought this through. PC: “You’ve given this a lot of thought.” Cullen: “I know what happens when order is lost and action comes too late.” [Go to 14]
13: General: No, not really. PC: “I hadn’t planned on it, no.” Cullen: “Then I shall spare you.” [Go to 14]
14: Conversation continues:
Cullen: “There’s still a lot of work ahead.”
A soldier approaches.
Soldier: “Commander! Ser Rylen has a report on our supply lines.”
Cullen: “As I was saying.”
Cullen walks away.
[End conversation]
Next conversation: Tell me about your colleagues

Here are the transcriptions of the Backstory for Rook's factions in the Character Creator (with the different pronouns available + surnames):
GREY WARDENS
Surname: Thorne
BACKSTORY
Shield Against the Night
When innocent lives were at stake, Rook led the charge, saving a village from a monstrous nightmare--no matter the cost to herself/himself/themselves.
During a large darkspawn incursion, Rook was ordered to hold the line with other Grey Wardens until reinforcements arrived. Rook argued that by then, villagers under attack would be dead. She/He/They disobeyed orders, leading the squad into the incursion and sealing the tunnel to the Deep Roads. This turned the tide, and the darkspawn were driven off, which saved the villagers. Rook's heroism was popular among the younger Wardens, but others with connections to noble families resented her/his/their independent streak. Rook chose to step away while tempers cooled.
VEIL JUMPERS
Surname: Aldwir
BACKSTORY
Hunter of Secrets
When lives were at stake, Rook defied orders to rescue people from the mystic perils of Arlathan.
On an expedition to ruins in Arlathan Forest, the Veil jumpers found ruins that contained important lost lore and deadly danger. Barely surviving the ruins' ancient magical defenses, Rook's small team recovered and invaluable map leading to a hidden area of the forest. Although the team escaped, other Veil Jumpers found themselves trapped. Rook chose to return to the ruins, saving her/his/their teammates' lives, but losing the map. She/He/They was/were lauded for her/his/their bravery, but the map's loss caused some resentment among Veil Jumper leaders.
SHADOW DRAGONS
Surname: Mercar
BACKSTORY
Breaker of Bonds
Rook risked everything to liberate the enslaved people of Tevinter, even knowing it would anger the ruling elite.
The foundling Rook was adopted into a military family and joined the Shadow Dragons to fight from the shadows for change in Minrathous. While guarding a visiting dignitary who was investigating a slavery ring in the nearby city of Nessus, Rook concluded that the mission would fail without throwing caution to the wind. Alone, she/he/they sneaked the dignitary deep into Venatori-controlled zones and brought him back, along with the rescued slaves. These actions brought Rook to the Venatori's attention, and the Shadow Dragons decided to keep Rook out of sight.
LORDS OF FORTUNE
Surname: Laidir
BACKSTORY
Seeker of Gold and Glory
When a corrupt Rivaini noble double-crossed Rook, Rook escaped a collapsing ruin, turned the tables, and destroyed a dangerous artifact.
A rising Lord of Fortune, skilled at breaking into lost tombs and ruins, Rook killed a corrupt Rivaini noble to prevent an ancient evil from being given to the Venatori. Her/His/Their actions were correct and saved the lives of expedition members, but some Rivaini nobles were resentful. Because the success of the Lords' expeditions relied on Rivaini authorities looking the other way, it seemed wise for Rook to step away while tempers settled.
MOURN WATCH
Surname: Ingellvar
BACKSTORY
Defender of the Dead
When restless spirits threatened the inhabitants of the Grand Necropolis, Rook took the decisive action to protect both the living and the dead.
Discovered by undead inside a Grand Necropolis tomb as an infant, Rook was raised by Mourn Watch necromancers, eventually joining the order. During a "civil war" between undead nobility, known later as the War of the Banners, she/he/they led a daring attack on the rebellion's dueling leaders. It was a success, quelling the war and saving lives. But Rook's destruction of these undead nobles was controversial. Some Mourn Watchers feared Rook had offended the order's aristocratic patrons and encouraged her/him/them to travel for a while.
ANTIVAN CROWS
Surname: de Riva
BACKSTORY
Assassin Extraordinaire
When the invaders of Treviso took people captive, Rook was determined to free the prisoners at any cost.
A talented new Crow recently promoted to full membership, Rook chafed at the cautions of her/his/their commanders, especially with her/his/their city occupied by brutal soldiers known as the Antaam. When Rook saw a patrol herding along captives one night, she/he/they leaped into action. Despite saving lives, however, Rook had unknowingly compromised a larger Crow operation against the Antaam. Rook's superiors were incensed. Sidelined for her/his/their actions, the young assassin searched for new ways to prove herself/himself/themselves.

I was today years old when I learned Solas isn't the one controlling the Fade dream. The Inquisitor came and found him and he just changes the setting. I'm not transcribing all of the romance dialogue, but the relevant bits:
Solas: Sleep well? Option 1:
If you kissed in the fade PC: I've never done anything like that before. On a number of levels.
No Fade kiss PC: I've never done anything like that before. Do you regularly talk to people in dreams? Solas: No. Consider that one more rule you have effortlessly broken in your rise to power.
Option 2:
If you kissed in the Fade PC: I had some odd dreams. Very odd dreams. Liked how it ended, though. No Fade Kiss PC: I had some odd dreams. Very odd dreams. With very odd people in them, for that matter. Solas: I will take that as a compliment, given that you include yourself. Remember, you came looking for me.
Option 3:
If you kissed in the Fade PC: When I asked to talk to you, I didn't think we'd be doing it in the Fade. Or, for that matter, doing it in the Fade. Solas: (Laughs.) No Fade Kiss PC: When I asked to talk to you, I didn't think we'd be doing it in the Fade. Still better than the dream where I'm standing naked in front of the war table. Solas: Since you went to the trouble of finding me in your sleep, it was worth the effort of doing something interesting. I had no idea the Anchor would allow you to dream with such focus. It is truly remarkable.
Solas Responses to lines with a Fade Kiss
(if in a romance with someone else) Solas: A momentary lapse in judgement. As you are now seeing someone else, we may comfortably leave it in the land of dreams. (Otherwise) Solas: I apologize. The kiss was impulsive and ill considered, and I should not have encouraged it. […]
All other lines revert to:
Solas: But I am reasonably certain we are awake now, and if you wish to discuss anything, I would enjoy talking. [...]

r/dragonage (Reddit) post titled "Jeff Grubb: Dragon Age: Dreadwolf scheduled to release in late 2024." Post text: "Dreadwolf to be shown this summer and planned release later this year, Bioware is internally confident on the release date. Anything could change of course." Source: [link] Clip: [link] "Credit to: u/IcePopsicleDragon for posting this in r/GamingLeaksAndRumours."
[source]
In episode 339 of Game Mess Decides, Jeff Grubb had the following to say on Dragon Age: Dreadwolf's possible/rumored release window [transcript]:
Question from chat: “Hi Jeff and Mike, when will Dragon Age 4 be shown and released?” Jeff: “Yeah, I mean, I expect it will probably pop up this summer. I don’t know when it’ll be shown is the real answer, that’s the, let’s get that out, I don’t know when it will be shown. I assume it will be shown sometime this summer. Could happen at any time though. It will be released this year [2024], last I heard. That is, and they’re pretty confident about that, doesn’t mean it’s a guarantee, could slip, but right now, internally, they expect to release it later this year, which is why I took it in Fantasy Critic”.
[source (timestamp 35 mins 20 secs), clipped version]
(there were no more mentions of Dragon Age or BioWare during the episode)

The more I think back about posts where people say "Veilguard is a shitty game because I went through the transcript and discovered that the word 'Okay' [Taash's speech quirk] is used ABC times and the structure '... I mean' [Bellara's speech quirk] is used XYZ times" the more I am inclined to make a parody copypasta where I say "Mass Effect is a shitty game because I went through the transcript and discovered that the word 'Problematic' is used MORDIN times"

"I challenge you—those of you who profess leadership, who would set yourselves above others—to see past what you've been taught and to forge a path of your own. And if you need foundational principles, then I charge you to choose from these: respect, compassion, understanding, love."

Emmrich and Davrin Shenanigans
Davrin: I heard another rumor, Emmrich. Emmrich: What is your latest hearsay? Davrin: That you and Rook are getting tight. Making eyes, warming the cockles of your heart, tugging at the old bone— Emmrich: That's quite enough. Davrin: Sure. But if you need any tips on hand-to-bone combat… Emmrich: My dear young Davrin. I know perfectly well what I'm doing. Davrin: Make that your next book.
This conversation made me snort for real. I love how sassy Emmrich gets with Davrin!!! And Emmrich's last line??? Hello???? 👀👀👀👀 🥵

Solas Deleted Dialogue
Solas Masterpost
High approval scene
Solas: It means I will not forget the kiss, even if there can never be another. PC: Solas… Solas: It would be selfish of me to ask more of you.
Break-up scene
Solas: I’m sorry. I should have never—I distracted you from your duty. It was—it won’t happen again.
Solas: No. No, this is a mistake. (Sighs.) And it’s over. I’m sorry.
Solas: We must focus all our efforts on stopping Corypheus. If we fail here, nothing else matters.
Solas: What are you doing, Inquisitor? This behavior…
PC: I was—I was told to?
Solas: By whom?
Dialogue options:
[Lie] It’s nothing, I’m fine. [1]
Help. [2]
1 - [Lie] It’s nothing, I’m fine. PC: I’m perfectly fine, Solas. Solas: I see. If that is true, then indulge my curiosity. Relax and look past me… [3]
2 - Help. PC: Solas, something is… I need… help. Solas: Just look at me, Inquisitor. Hold a moment… good. Now look past me and relax. [3]
3 - Scene continues.
Solas: This collecting behavior… a task with simple goals, but its effect compulsive. I sense something, faint but present, and not entirely you. From the Breach, or Adamant, or… ahhhh. No, not the Fade, not Adamant. Your dream at Therinfal Redoubt.
Dialogue options:
[Lie] I’m fine. It’s nothing. [4]
Is this Envy? [5]
4 - [Lie] I’m fine. It’s nothing. PC: Nothing is wrong with me, really. I’m sorry to have bothered you. Please forget I said anything. Solas: Inquisitor, listen carefully. When you were trapped within Envy’s dream, something happened to you. [6]
5 - Is this Envy? PC: Therinfal. The dream, I was… Envy. Did it do this? Solas: Not directly. You destroyed Envy, but spending so long in its dream, something happened to you. [6]
6 - Scene continues.
Solas: Your mind was wounded and your spirit is compensating, as you might tuck an injured arm to your side. Now that you are aware of it, there is no true danger. This impulse is simply an annoyance. If you wish to deal with this, I suggest you return to Therinfal. This problem began there. It should end there.

No fucking way does the Dragon Age narrative podcast not have transcripts. If super small audio drama can have it, they absolutely have no excuses not to have them.
