What flag was behind Alfred in your post?

It’s one of the questioning pride flags. I used the version without the question mark, so here’s the one with it:

I chose this one as I find it really pretty with its vibrant colours. The most commonly used one though seems to be this flag:

I personally headcanon Alfred to be unsure of his sexuality, not yet knowing what label to put on it. He’s mostly been attracted to women but there’s been a few times he’s been attracted to men, at least he thinks so? Or was he mistaking it for infatuation? Has he ever really been in love? He’s not sure, so he’s chosen questioning for now as he discovers himself.

Basically, rainbow kaimahi (workers - the Māori term is increasingly used by institutions wanting to set a progressive and inclusive tone) kept expressing that they were deeply concerned about the implications of hosting the exhibition, and eventually management listened. Very interesting to see the process and the sorts of views expressed on the way.

I think the headline is in error and should say “pulled the plug” - pulling the pin would be going ahead with it come what may.

I used to hate the word faggot but now I realize that it's probably one of the only things that the gay community has left that isn't being sanitized, shined, and sold back to us at a premium by deceitful ass companies who claim to like us but then vote for policies that kill us. you're not gonna see a bank in a pride parade with banners that say "we love faggots" but you sure as hell will see a gay person saying "I love being a faggot" it feels so more real.

and I want it to stay controversial too because if a bank ever feels like they have the right to say "haha faggot right guys? 😏🏳️‍🌈" we should be able to publicly execute their ceo

So over in South Australia, pride also seems to occur in November as well because of the Feast Festival. I missed out on the pride march, so I'm going all out at the pride picnic with the Australian classic that fits in pride...fairy bread.
