Designed some stickers
------
[ID: Three drawn sticker designs. The first one is of an angry girl with a green hijab, a hand facing away from her face as if to say stop. Some text in red above her says Astaghfirullah, meaning "I seek forgiveness in Allah" in Arabic, but used as an outraged cry in this context.
The second drawing is of a sad Muslim boy, wearing a thawb and kufi. A grey cloud pours rain down on him. Some blue text to the left of him says "Ya Allah give me patience..."
The last one is of a pink niqabi, wearing a white bow on top of her niqab. Pink text saying Blessed, and golden rays around her reflect her blissful expression. \End ID]

Don't be disheartened, for Allah sends hope even in our most desperate moments. When everything seems bleak and overwhelming, remember that it is during these times that His mercy shines brightest. Just like the heaviest rain emerges from the darkest clouds, our toughest challenges often lead to the greatest blessings.
Life's trials and tribulations are not meant to break us but to strengthen our faith and character. They are opportunities for growth and resilience, teaching us valuable lessons along the way. Instead of dwelling on the difficulties, let's focus on the silver linings and the lessons they bring.
In moments of despair, turn to Allah with trust and sincerity. Seek solace in His words and find comfort in the knowledge that He is always with us, guiding us through every storm. Remember, every setback is a setup for a comeback, and Allah's plans are always greater than our own.

Hardships are inevitable for the one who traverses the path of truth.
{أَمْ حَسِبْتُمْ أَن تَدْخُلُواْ الْجَنَّةَ وَلَمَّا يَعْلَمِ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ جَـهَدُواْ مِنكُمْ وَيَعْلَمَ الصَّـبِرِينَ}
{Do you think that you will enter Paradise without Allah knowing those of you who fought (in His cause) and knowing those who are the patient.} (3:142)
The one who seeks to reach lofty heights undoubtedly will have to first go through a tiresome journey. And that's the thing - you can't go around or above or below the difficulties, you can only go through them to get to the brighter side - the side of ease. And while victory from Allah is an imminent promise, likewise is the sunnah of tamhees (distinguishing between the ranks) and istibdaal (replacement).
In every season of life, during prosperity and especially during the phases of weakness in the ummah, we will see the same tradition of history repeat. Only the characters will change, but their characteristics are already narrowed down to two camps of which there is no third:
The camp of kufr and the camp of imān.
And I say there is no third, for the munafiqin with their weak faith would be closer to the camp of kufr than that of the camp of imān. When asked to support the haq, they will scrape up any excuse not to despite all the severe reasons to do so, and Allah has already informed us of this trait of theirs:
{هُمۡ لِلۡكُفۡرِ يَوۡمَئِذٍ أَقۡرَبُ مِنۡهُمۡ لِلۡإِيمَٰنِۚ يَقُولُونَ بِأَفۡوَٰهِهِم مَّا لَيۡسَ فِى قُلُوبِهِمۡۗ وَٱللَّهُ أَعۡلَمُ بِمَا يَكۡتُمُونَ} (3:167)
{They were nearer to disbelief that day than to faith, saying with their mouths what was not in their hearts. And Allāh is most knowing of what they conceal}
So from the two ayat mentioned, you can already understand what is required from you when the hardships pour down, for no doubt that sooner or later the clouds of hardships will form to release testing rain that becomes nourishment for crops of victory to grow afterwards.
1) When trials strike, accept and be pleased with the Qadr of Allah, don't let your grief eat away at your determination to strive, rather this is the time to strive even more to prove your sincerity and trust with full conviction that there is goodness in the trials because Allah is All Wise, we cannot see better than His Wisdom for His Kingdom and its sufficient for us that He has promised to give victory to the believers. How and when is a matter that is in His control.
2) In the sea of adversities, your patience is your boat of salvation. Like AAA رحمه الله mentioned in a lecture: "what harm would a misfortune of time do to you?" .. this dunya is fleeting and will not last forever and for every trial is an appointed time. Show Allah your gratitude for all the blessings you have by being patient in this test that is in itself a blessing also, for every matter of a believer is good, and with the right intentions even what harms you will be something you are rewarded for.
3) Be truthful. Let the truth and only the truth be seen and heard from you and do not aid the shaytan against the believers by spewing doubts because of your fears of what may or may not happen in the future. Whoever is truthful to Allah, Allah will be truthful to him. Resolve to leave off sins and get closer to Allah, know who Allah is by His Names and Attributes and contemplate on His Mercy and His Miracles He bestowed upon the believing people before us to remove any pessimistic thoughts you may have.

Invoking Allah for Rain (Istisqaa)
Narrated Sharik: Anas bin Malik said, "A person entered the Mosque on a Friday through the gate facing the Daril- Qada' and Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) was standing delivering the Khutba (sermon). The man stood in front of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and said, 'O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ), livestock are dying and the roads are cut off; please pray to Allah for rain.' So Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) (p.b.u.h) raised both his hands and said, 'O Allah! Bless us with rain. O Allah! Bless us with rain. O Allah! Bless us with rain!" Anas added, "By Allah, there were no clouds in the sky and there was no house or building between us and the mountain of Sila'. Then a big cloud like a shield appeared from behind it (i.e. Silas Mountain) and when it came in the middle of the sky, it spread and then rained. By Allah! We could not see the sun for a week. The next Friday, a person entered through the same gate and Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) was delivering the Friday Khutba and the man stood in front of him and said, 'O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! The livestock are dying and the roads are cut off; Please pray to Allah to withhold rain.' " Anas added, "Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) raised both his hands and said, 'O Allah! Round about us and not on us. O Allah!' On the plateaus, on the mountains, on the hills, in the valleys and on the places where trees grow.' " Anas added, "The rain stopped and we came out, walking in the sun." Sharik asked Anas whether it was the same person who had asked for rain the previous Friday. Anas replied that he did not know.

Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, appeared before the public one day when a man came to him and said, “O Messenger of Allah, what is faith?” The Prophet said, “Faith is to believe in Allah, His angels, His books, His meeting, His messengers, and to believe in the resurrection in the Hereafter.” He said, “O Messenger of Allah, what is Islam?” The Prophet said, “Islam is to worship Allah alone without associating anything with Him, to establish the prescribed prayer, to give obligatory charity, and to fast the month of Ramadan.” He said, “What is excellence?” The Prophet said, “Excellence is to worship Allah as if you see Him. Verily, He sees you although you do not see Him.” He said, “When is the Hour?” The Prophet said, “The one who is asked does not know more than the one asking. Rather, I will relate to you some of its signs: when the slave girl gives birth to her master is among its signs, when the naked and barefooted will become chiefs of the people is among its signs, when the shepherds of black camels will exult themselves in constructing building is among its signs. Concerning the fifth sign, none knows it but Allah.” Then the Prophet recited, “Verily, Allah alone has knowledge of the Hour and sends down the rain and knows what is in the wombs. No soul knows what it will earn tomorrow, and no soul knows in what land it will die. Verily, Allah is knowing and aware.” (31:34) Then the man turned away and left. The Prophet said, “Bring him back to me,” but they went to bring him back and found nothing. The Prophet said, “He was Gabriel who came to teach the people their religion.”

The muwahideen are finding marriage difficult, among a lot of things. And I want to say, the path of the Ghuraba isn’t paved with roses. Being from the Ghuraba isn’t an aesthetic. It’s is a path that Allah blessed us to be upon. So remember it , when things became difficult. When marriage isn’t easy, remember this. Make dua and tie your camel.
And when you make dua, consistently do it. Day in and day out. Tahajjud shouldn’t be a once every 2 week thing. Make it part of your routine. Raise your hands to the heavens and beg Allah. Show humility to and tell Allah honestly. If you want companionship, tell Allah that. If you fear falling into zina, be honest about it with Allah. When it rains, make dua. Between the adhan and iqaamah, make dua. In Sujood, make dua. The last hour of Friday, make dua. The dua made at tahajjud is an arrow that never misses its target. So where are you, o you who has a need that needs fulfilling ? Where are your who wishes to have that which they desire? If you are sleeping at that time, do you really want it? You truly don’t want it if you know you have a Lord that descends and seeks to fulfill the need of His slaves.
Ask family, friends and people at the masjid. Do something new and look outside of your town, city or even country. There has been plenty of brothers and sisters on the manhaj who have traveled elsewhere for a spouse or maintain a long distance relationship as a temporary before they are united . If you have a preference, look outside of that and expand your options. Ask those online and if the online route is taken, do your due diligence. It shouldn’t be the first choice but after asking Allah, go for it (for sisters, please always seek permission from a wali and have him every step of the way, online and in real life). Even if the your surroundings are mainly liberals and madkhalis for example, don’t ever underestimate Allah. Allah can send somebody to you when you least expect it in a way that you could never imagine. So have good thoughts of Allah. He is how we think of Him. Do you think He will never give you a spouse? Believe your Lord will answer you and that you will be pleased.
Don’t forget to look into your self. How is your heart with Allah? How much are your sins? Are they greater than your good deeds ? How many sins are you willingly indulging in that you can easily cut off? You want a righteous spouse but are you striving to be from the righteous ? You ask Allah for a spouse and you feel as if your dua isn’t being answered , but what is the amount of sins?
Are you fulfilling your obligations? Are you praying on time , giving zakat, forbidding the evil and enjoining the good , maintaining ties with kith and kin, staying away from the haram? Brothers, are you defending the Ummah and securing the release of the captives? Look into yourself. There could be things that are delaying the response to your dua. Also, think of how you’re close to Allah right now on your state. You’re begging Allah consistently in Tahajjud, your mouth is constantly moving with dua, you’re in a state of hope and wanting a need fulfilled. Yes it’s not easy being patient upon something you’ve been wanting for a long time, but take advantage of how close you are to Allah now. Maybe Allah wants to keep you near Him. Maybe He wants to hear your voice just a little more.
Purify your intentions. The spouse you desire isn’t just for yourself. Have the intention when you get married it is to aid the deen of Allah. It is to bring victory back in the earth and to raise children who will uphold the banner of Tawheed high in the lands. A righteous spouse is part of your enjoyment but remember the bigger picture.
As a last note, work to keep your heart attached to Jannah. We may not get everything we want here but what is with Allah is much better and greater. Dunya isn’t final. It’s just a bridge. Keep your eyes in the prize and your heart connected to heavenly matters. Ask Allah to grant you contentment with your Qadr and to make it easy for you to be grateful in all situations. والله اعلم
May Allah grant all the muwahideen righteous spouses sooner rather than later. May Allah grant us patience and protect us from falling into fitnah. May Allah answer your Adiyah in beautiful ways. آمين

Allah calls Himself Al-Ghaffaar— The All-and-Oft-Forgiving— on five occasions in the Quran. He is the One who forgives and covers us time and time again. Al-Ghaffaar is the One Who forgives our sins, veils our shortcomings, and protects us from the effects of our mistakes in this life and the next so we can go on without shame or guilt!
The Oft-Forgiving, The One who veils and protects
Ghaffaar comes from the root ghayn-faa-raa, which points to three main meanings. The first meaning is to cover, veil, conceal, and hide. The second meaning is to pardon, to forgive, and to set aright. And the third meaning is to cover a thing to protect it (from dirt).
This root appears 234 times in the Quran in nine derived forms. Examples of these forms are yaghfiru (He forgives, will forgive), wa-is’taghfir (and ask forgiveness), and maghfiratun (forgiveness).
Linguistically, ghaffaar is a hyperbolized noun, which implies quantity and continuity. Al-Ghaffaar is the One who forgives all kinds of sins over and over again. He sets us free from the guilt and shame of our own faults so we can feel inner peace, and He can transform wrong deeds and change them into what become good deeds.
Al-Ghaffaar Himself says: Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them, the Exalted in Might, the Perpetual Forgiver. . . [Quran, 38:66] And . . . Unquestionably, He is the Exalted in Might, the Perpetual Forgiver. [Quran, 39:5]
A beautiful invocation
The Arabic word astaghfirullah – I seek forgiveness of Allah— is from this same ghaa-faa-raa root and is a beautiful, comprehensive request to Allah ‘azza wa jall to forgive us, hide away our faults, watch over us, and protect us from faults. Maghfirah is the word for this profound concept of forgiveness, covering, and protection.
Examples of magfirah
Allah Al-Ghaffaar covers and protects in the most beautiful ways, both spiritually and physically. An example is that He keeps your thoughts and intentions hidden from other people; your innermost feelings are well-protected and covered by Al-Ghaffaar. Another example is that Al-Ghaffaar physically covers us; He clothes our inner body nicely with skin. Imagine muscles being on the surface. Without this skin man would look appalling. Another example of Allah’s maghfirah is that He veils a believer’s private sins and misdeeds and doesn’t publicize them to others.
How Can You Live by This Name?
1. Forgive to be forgiven.
Be honest with yourself— have you always forgiven others or did you just say “I forgive you,” while ill feelings lingered in your heart? . . . and let them pardon and overlook. Would you not like that Allah should forgive you? And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful. [Quran, 24:22] Each night before you go to sleep try to cleanse your heart from grudges and ill-feelings and when you find it hard to forgive, remind yourself of the greatest motivation: Allah’s forgiveness. There’s no space for a big ego if you want to be forgiven by Allah ‘azza wa jall.
2. Seek forgiveness to increase your blessings.
He says: And said, ‘Ask forgiveness of your Lord. Indeed, He is ever a Perpetual Forgiver.’ [Quran, 71:10] What will happen if you ask for forgiveness? Al-Ghaffaar will increase your blessings. He continues: He will send [rain from] the sky upon you in [continuing] showers. And give you increase in wealth and children and provide for you gardens and provide for you rivers. [Quran, 71:11-12] So next time you want something, increase in seeking forgiveness (or istighfaar).
3. Don’t hunt for other people’s mistakes.
Al-Ghazali said about the attribute of maghfirah: Every creature is bound to have perfection and imperfection, or ugliness and beauty, so whoever overlooks the ugly and mentions only the beautiful is one who shares in this attribute. As a true believer, always highlight the good of others and cover their faults. Never hunt for others’ mistakes.
4. Follow up a bad deed with a good one.
Al-Ghaffaar tells you: But indeed, I am the Perpetual Forgiver of whoever repents and believes and does righteousness and then continues in guidance. [Quran, 20:82] and Except for those who repent, believe, and work righteous deeds. For those, Allah will change their evil deeds into good deeds, and Allah is Most Forgiving, Most Merciful. [Quran, 25 : 70] What often happens is that we sin and feel bad but remain passive.
Al-Ghaffaar tells you exactly what to do to get perpetual forgiveness: turn to Him sincerely in repentance no matter how often you’ve sinned, follow up your bad deed with a good one, and be determined to stay on the right path. Then Al-Ghaffaar will transform your evil deeds into good deeds— a great blessing. So next time you sin, open the Quran and read or give some sadaqah. You have much opportunity to do good, but don’t delay!
5. Give thanks.
Reflect on the fact that Al-Ghaffaar veils your sins and bad deeds for others again and again, and thank Him for this blessing.
6. Follow the examples in the Quran and Sunnah.
Look for the Quranic supplications for forgiveness Al-Ghaffaar blessed you with and use them when you ask for His maghfirah, for example: Our Lord, we have believed, so forgive us and have mercy upon us, and You are the best of the merciful. [Quran, 23:109] Study the ways the Prophet salallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam used to seek forgiveness by using the morning and evening adhkaar (remembrance) to be found in the book of supplications Hisnul Muslim (Fortress of the Muslim). Examples are daily invocations like: ghufraanaka when you exit the toilet, saying astaghfirullah wa atoobu ilayk more than 70 times a day.
O Allah, Al-Ghaffaar, we know that You forgive, cover, and protect us continuously. Forgive our sins, the first one, the last one, the hidde,n and apparent, and enable us to keep turning to You seeking forgiveness. Conceal our shortcomings in this life and on the Day of Judgement, protect us from the effects of our sins, and aid us to be forgiving to others, ameen!

Sometimes i go to the beach to hear, listen, contemplate Allah Azzawajal's words. i feel sakeenah & peace. I stop for a while and pondering on Allah's creation. The beach, sound of waves crushing to the shore, the sea, the ocean, the horizon, the sunset, the sunrise, birds chirping, dragonflies flying, buzzing bees, moving clouds, drizzles of rain... All are orbiting in its own timeline. Sometimes i asked of me. Why am i here? Why am i still here? then Allah spoke to me by remembrance of Him. Whispers of the wind through my ears and touch my heart. Tells me that i have a purposed and served a purposed in this Dunya and to served & prepare myself for the hereafter. I get back to my conscience and reflect on the blessings and blessings in disguised. I feel assured by Allah's promise and love. It is time to leave the shore. My time to come back to reality. Which i couldn't wait to be in, to participate and to experience. Life in reality is about making memories and developed experience of good & bad. As for the bad experience, i would take the good out from the bad itself. That is how i chose to live. A positive and healthy life. It is about making good choices. Even the little choices we have to make each day.
I enclosed this note with a prayer for steadfastness in everything we do. May Allah Azzawajal, protect us until we meet Him again in the hereafter

Make dua that on the day of reckoning, you will receive your book in your right hand, that all of Jannah’s doors will be calling to you. Make dua that on the day of judgment, every verse of the Quran you read will testify for you. Make dua that you will meet the Prophet SAW. Make dua that you and those you love will live in eternal peace, and eternal happiness with your Lord.
Ameen, may all our duas be accepted. May Allah SWT grant us all the highest level of Jannah, neighboring the beloved Prophet Muhammad SAW.

May Allah ‎ﷻ accept our efforts and servitude. If Laylatul Qadr falls upon us tonight, may its blessings rain abundantly upon us for what we strive to do.

Tafsir Ibn Kathir: Surah Al-Hijr Ayah 21-25
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
15:21 And there is not a thing, but the supplies for it are with Us, and We do not send it down but in a known measure.
15:22 And We send the winds fertilizing, then We cause the water to descend from the sky, and We give it to you to drink, and it is not you who are the owners of its supply.
15:23 And certainly We! It is We Who give life, and cause death, and We are the Inheritors.
15:24 And indeed, We know the first generations of you who have passed away, and indeed, We know the present generations of you (mankind), and also those who will come afterwards.
15:25 And verily, your Lord will gather them together. Truly, He is Most Wise, (and) Knowing.
The Supplies for All Things are with Allah
Allah says:
And there is not a thing, but the supplies for it are with Us,
Allah tells us that He is the Owner of all things, and that everything is easy for Him. He has the supplies for all things with Him.
and We do not send it down but in a known measure.
meaning, as He wills and as He wants. Doing so out of His great wisdom and mercy towards His servants, in a way that He is under no obligation to do. But He has decreed mercy for Himself.
Yazid bin Abi Ziyad reported from Abu Juhayfah that Abdullah said:
"No year has more rain than another, but Allah divides the rain between them as He wills, it rains: here a year and there a year. Then he recited,
And there is not a thing but the supplies for it are with Us...).
Reported by Ibn Jarir.
Benefits of the Winds
Allah says:
And We send the winds fertilizing.
i.e., fertilizing the clouds so that they give rain, and fertilizing the trees so that they open their leaves and blossoms.
These winds are mentioned here in the plural form because they give results, unlike the barren wind (Ar-Rih Al-'Aqim, see Adh-Dhariyat 51:41), which is mentioned in the singular and described as barren since it does not produce anything; because results can only be produced when there are two or more things.
Abdullah bin Mas`ud said,
"The wind is sent bearing water from the sky, then it fertilizes the clouds until rain begins to generously fall, just as the milk of the pregnant camel flows generously.''
This was also the opinion of Ibn Abbas, Ibrahim An-Nakha`i and Qatadah.
Ad-Dahhak said:
"Allah sends it to the clouds and it gets fertilized and becomes full of water.''
Ubayd bin Umayr Al-Laythi said:
"Allah sends the wind which stirs up the earth, then Allah sends the wind which raises clouds, then Allah sends the wind which forms clouds, then Allah sends the fertilizing wind which pollinates the trees."
Then he recited, (And We sent the winds fertilizing).
Fresh Water is a Blessing from Allah
Allah says:
then We cause the water to descend from the sky,
and We give it to you to drink,
This means, "and We send it down to you fresh and sweet, so that you can drink it; if We had wished, We could have made it salty (and undrinkable)'', as Allah points out in another Ayah in Surah Al-Waqi`ah, where He says:
Tell Me! The water that you drink, is it you who cause it to come down from the rain clouds, or are We the cause of it coming down! If We willed, We verily could make it salty (and undrinkable), why then do you not give thanks (to Allah)! )56:68-70(
And Allah says:
He it is Who sends water down from the sky; from it you drink and from it (grows) the vegetation on which you send your cattle to pasture. (16:10)
and it is not you who are the owners of its supply.
The meaning is, "You are not taking care of it; rather We send it down and take care of it for you, making springs and wells flourish on the earth.''
If Allah so willed, He could make it disappear, but by His mercy He sends it down and makes it fresh and sweet, maintaining the springs, wells, rivers and so on, so that they may drink from it all year long, water their livestock and irrigate their crops.
The Power of Allah to initiate and renew Creation
Allah says:
And certainly We! We it is Who give life, and cause death,
Here Allah tells us of His power to initiate creation and renew it. He is the One Who brings life to creatures out of nothingness, then He causes them to die, then He will resurrect all of them on the Day when He will gather them together.
and We are the Inheritors.
He also tells us that He will inherit the earth and everyone on it, and then it is to Him that they will return.
Then He tells us about His perfect knowledge of them, the first and the last of them.
He says:
And indeed, We know the first generations of you who had passed away....
Ibn Abbas said,
"The first generations are all those who have passed away since the time of Adam. The present generations and those who will come afterward refer to those who are alive now and who are yet to come, until the Day of Resurrection.''
Something similar was narrated from Ikrimah, Mujahid, Ad-Dahhak, Qatadah, Muhammad bin Ka`b, Ash-Sha`bi and others.
Ibn Jarir reported from Muhammad bin Abi Ma`shar, from his father, that;
he heard Awn bin Abdullah discussing the following Ayah with Muhammad bin Ka`b:
And indeed, We know the first generations of you who had passed away, and indeed, We know the present generations of you (mankind), and also those who will come afterwards,
and it was stated that it refers to the rows for prayer.
Muhammad bin Ka`b said, "This is not the case. (And indeed, We know the first generations of you who had passed away),
it refers to those who are dead or have been killed,
and;
and also those who will come(afterwards),
meaning those who have yet to be created.
And verily your Lord will gather them together. Truly, He is Most Wise, (and) Knowing).''
Awn bin Abdullah said,
"May Allah help you and reward you with good.''

"tHeRe aRe nO ScIeNtIfIc iNaCcUrAcY In qUrAn!!"
https://quranx.com/25.45-46
Hast thou not turned thy vision to thy Lord?- How He doth prolong the shadow! If He willed, He could make it stationary! then do We make the sun its guide;
Then We draw it in towards Ourselves,- a contraction by easy stages.
Allah makes the shadows change length by moving the sun. He could stop it moving any time he wanted.
https://quranx.com/37.6-10
We have indeed decked the lower heaven with beauty (in) the stars,-
(For beauty) and for guard against all obstinate rebellious evil spirits,
(So) they should not strain their ears in the direction of the Exalted Assembly but be cast away from every side,
Repulsed, for they are under a perpetual penalty,
Except such as snatch away something by stealth, and they are pursued by a flaming fire, of piercing brightness.
The stars are set into the underside of the layers of heaven, and are missiles to be fired at demons.
https://quranx.com/25.61
Blessed is He Who made constellations in the skies, and placed therein a Lamp and a Moon giving light;
The moon gives off light, rather than reflecting it.
https://quranx.com/15.26
And We did certainly create man out of clay from an altered black mud.
https://quranx.com/55.14
He created man from clay like [that of] pottery.
The first human (Adam) was made from clay.
https://quranx.com/86.6-7
He is created from a drop emitted-
Proceeding from between the backbone and the ribs:
Sperm comes from "between the backbone and the ribs," and humans are created from it, with no involvement or mention of the egg.
https://quranx.com/23.14
Then We made the sperm into a clot of congealed blood; then of that clot We made a (foetus) lump; then we made out of that lump bones and clothed the bones with flesh; then we developed out of it another creature. So blessed be Allah, the best to create!
Bones grow first, then flesh onto it.
https://quranx.com/71.19
"'And Allah has made the earth for you as a carpet (spread out),
https://quranx.com/2.22
Who has made the earth your couch, and the heavens your canopy; and sent down rain from the heavens; and brought forth therewith Fruits for your sustenance; then set not up rivals unto Allah when ye know (the truth).
https://quranx.com/20.53
[It is He] who has made for you the earth as a bed [spread out] and inserted therein for you roadways and sent down from the sky, rain and produced thereby categories of various plants.
The Earth is a carpet, a couch, a bed. i.e. flat.
https://quranx.com/16.15
And He has set up on the earth mountains standing firm, lest it should shake with you; and rivers and roads; that ye may guide yourselves;
The mountains hold the Earth still.
The usual excuse is that it's either a "translation problem," in which case we can't trust anything the quran says in English, or that it's a metaphor. Science is specific and precise. Metaphors are, by definition, unscientific.
Sometimes the excuse is one then the other, without the person realizing how stupid they sound.
