I made some fan art for @dazeddoodles' Raeda Tangled AU. Raine is in Rapunzel's role, Terra is in Gothel's role, and Eda is in Flynn/Eugene's role. They haven't posted much for this AU yet, but I liked the idea, so I figured why not make fan art for it?

I was originally planning on drawing something that involved Eda cutting Raine's hair and saying this line that an anonymous asker said she would say, but long story, life happened, so angst-filled Tangled scene it was.

i don't know what's going on with the anons right now, but i have qoustion about raeda tangled au? so does raine gain healing powers from a flower or do they have some other power? if thats the case did their hair still change color because of the lower and if so is it golden like raps or some other color like red?

Yeah they gain healing powers. In this Au their hair turns into the teal color they have in the show. When their hair gets cut off at the end it turn white.

i saw the tangled raeda thing and i can see that working expically at the sacrifase seene. i can totally see raine willing to lose their freedom for eda only for eda to go "Shut you self scrafasing ass app up! over my soon to be litteraly dead body are you losing your freedom!"

Imagining her saying exactly that right before cutting their hair off is kinda a power move tbh. It's also made me realize that scene in Tangled is like a reverse of what happened at the Day of Unity.

Although when I drew the Raeda Little Mermaid Au I included part of the original Fairytale. Specifically, the sister cutting her hair in exchange for a dagger. In the original Rapunzel Fairytale, the witch got the Prince's eyes stabbed out from rose thorns, which sounds like a Terra thing to do. So I'm wondering if I should do something with that-
