#wind waker #loz #zelda #beedle #linktober #link #aquanutart #day 1: merchant #i really liked beedle in the wind waker he just always seemed so genuinely enthusiastic and happy to see you #i thought his compliment card was hilarious. i always bought a lot of bait anyway to complete my sea chart #and because i liked messing around as a bird i guess i'd buy hyoi pears; so i always racked up enough points without really trying #however i wasn't a fan of what they did with his character in games after that. he became pressuring and insincere #i understand why people would find a two-faced salesman character funny or interesting in his own right #but it's the opposite of what i originally liked about him #unfortunately this makes me question whether it was meant that way to begin with?#i don't know but i like to believe wind waker beedle actually meant his enthusiasm #back when ww beedle was the only beedle i always meant to show appreciation for him so i'm doing that now

a bit different from what i usually do, more traditional. everythings a bit crooked but i think it looks nice.

I don't want to so I won't lol #I can tag my original I guess :P #Mama Oz #She's based on this absolutely ridiculous and darling object I found at the same place I got my new-to-me video games haha #So apparently in the 60s this specific type of - magazine rack? in the shape of a kangaroo?? was made??#Ridiculous. So ostentatious. I fell in love immediately and had to make her into a Parapluesch #Like as soon as I laid eyes on her standing there I was like ''Oh you're from Die Anstalt'' - Instantly started filling in her backstory #Mama Oz's deal is your classic Stages of Grief - in her case from losing a child #Since she's a plush she never had an actual baby but she lost Her Child if you get me - she stopped being played with #And so she projects that grief onto others and adopts them in an attempt to get Her Child back #Except if this new relationship isn't within that framework then she rejects it and goes to the next one #She doesn't really realize that she's inconveniencing them by trying to adopt them and limiting herself from forming lasting connections #Not allowing change or growth - stagnating and trying to reclaim something lost #One of my favourite parts of Die Anstalt is that each of them is shown to have flaws #They still need and are deserving of help! But their uglier symptoms aren't shied away from #Dolly and Lilo use self-harm as a coping mechanism #Sly is shown to seek out the high at times and be short and destructive #Dub takes pride in his overwork #Kroko is surly and prickly #Don't even get me started on Dr. Wood lol #So it's fun to imagine what Mama Oz would be doing to - even by accident! - harm herself or others #The whole point of helping them is for them to become their best most comfortable selves :D #I also think what's especially funny is that I've been Meaning to make a Parapluesch OC for /years/ now #I always planned for it to be a Gender Dysphoria diagnosis since that's in the DSM and I had a design and route planned and everything #No. Kangaroo magazine rack. Okay #Lol

Kinda rlly annoys me that a ton of people I called friends think it’s their place to say I shouldn’t get stuff to make my apartment nice or act like I’m irresponsible with money just because I’m Able to make my place nice and they weren’t especially when like the majority of things I own are either second hand or I made it myself or some variation of that like my coffee table I got for $8 second hand missing it’s glass top and I just rearranged the wooden planks added a couple screws and anchors and got a nice wooden coffee table for less than $10 and some tools I already had when the tables original worth is over $300, my side table and tv are both things my brother left behind when he moved back north so I used them for my place, most of my wall decor I made myself or is just stuff that I’ve accumulated over the years same for dishes n stuff I’ve been slowly getting that stuff for like two years whenever I found something I liked and could afford really the most expensive thing I got was my couch being $400 and the Only reason I got a new couch instead of second hand is I get too paranoid about bugs especially bed bugs and couldn’t mentally handle getting a couch second hand and still found a nice big sectional on sale and had nearly $2k in saving specifically to fill an apartment with and I didn’t even use $1k of that

#my bed frame and shoe rack were free I made my bed frame with old pallets I got for free and painted and cut to size myself #my shoe rack I made out of cinder blocks and the extra bits of pallets #like u don’t got to be rich to have nice things #just learn to make or fix things up for yourself buy second hand and sales #ghost rambles #genuinely the only things I bought for this apartment is the living room and dining room furniture and peel and stick wallpaper #and the peel and stick wallpaper the ex roomate had to pay me back for since I paid to do it in the last place #and the furniture I had a chair already I’d been meaning to reupholster for ages and never got around to #just put a $10 chair cover over it looks good and it’s comfy now #originally got it second hand a few years ago for like maybe $10 #kitchen table I also got on sale only spent $100 for a really nice big table and benches and the table expands to fit more

#reboot #I've seen people rank on the original's CGI plenty of times but I guess Guardian Code's CGI is just fine and dandy right?#barf #a lot of people are conditioned to consume Disney-Pixar/Dreamworks-type slop #so it doesn't really surprise me that they make fun of the CGI in ReBoot or Beast Wars for that matter #anyways #at least this makes me feel more confident in my art abilities if the so called professionals can't make Bob look good these days lol #also the fart huffers at Rainmaker thought it was okay to animate with Unreal Engine????#still racking my brain trying to think why they'd use Unreal Engine over Maya or something else #maybe the license for using UE is cheaper? idk

i feel like aespa is at a place where almost any concept they pull out feels like a natural extension of their identity as a group as opposed to trying a certain musical or visual style on for size from comeback to comeback

#like they took a minute to get there . their original concept was gimmicky as hell but they’ve settled into a niche over the past years #that other groups still struggle to find #prime example is le sserafim with easy and smart … they’re putting tht concept back on the rack especially after the backlash they got #it’s just crazy how much i still like kpop when it’s intentional and creative
