A thing about being polyfragmented I find so hard (besides all of it) is how often a new part will come out and share a name/age/interests/what they hold or whatever. And then... woosh! Do we ever hear from them again? Anyone's guess. It can sure feed the denial.
I know a huge aspect of this is also not having had a container to do the work properly for years now. So much inside is shut away. It needed to be. And I'm terrified for it to ever come back out. It wouldnt be healthy to come back out how it did back then, that therapy was not contained enough. But at some point it needs to, in a safe away. I just am so sad for so many parts who we were helping and then.. just.. survival took over and they're back shut away holding all the awful shit. It's so sad. I wish we could help on our own. But it's too much and too dangerous without the right support.

This is both how my life and our system feels. Why can't things just move along without disaster? Just for long enough to build some kind of life? Please?
I get that with severe childhood trauma we can often reenact, unintentionally end up in similar or unhealthy patterns, etc etc. And sure that was us for a while. But these days? No. I swear to the fucking queen of whales that is not what is happening. I have worked so hard to not be in that pattern. And yet random, inexplicable disasters seem to still follow along.. and we if that was not enough, always, always, always on trauma anniversaries. Completely unrelated. Completely not us "acting out", just fucking unrelated disasters out of nowhere like people vanishing or pets dying or injuries or more therapy trauma we couldn't have predicted. How is it possible it always happens on the same dates? And why? How do I not take it as a sign from the universe that we just are not supposed to be here (or we are evil and deserve it and etc etc)?
I am so damn tired.

why do cult leaders in media always gotta be sympathetic and have super tragic backstories and good intents behind the cult
this isn't to say i don't love characters like Fiddleford & Viktor (though idk if Viktor is quite the same yet as im only on Arcane season 2 act 2) where they have good intentions but end up brainwashing people
but i want a cult leader that is money hungry and power hungry and gives victims stupid rules so they'll always be tearing themselves apart trying to appease the one that they think will save them
not because i like irredeemable villains but because i want to be seen
my best examples that i know of are King of Ooo and Horde Prime

Given that the original upload of the flag includes the old version, and that we have deleted our own upload of it, I have decided to make this sideblog so I can put it out there again, so people have a reference for it, a reference for the colours and their meanings, and just so it's posted by us with its original intent and not claimed by someone else.
THIS IS NOT A PRIDE FLAG. THIS IS A DID/OSDD-1 AWARENESS FLAG.
STRIPES & COLOUR MEANINGS:
Black stands for Trauma & Dissociation
Blue stands for Undiscovered Systems
Green stands for Aware Systems
Yellow stands for Recovery
This flag is free for you to use and edit to your hearts content. All I ask is for you to include us in your discourse or use this flag as 'proof' or ammo.

I still have no idea how to feel about Nyssa being alive again like her backstory is to Ra's what Morrison's Damian backstory is to Talia and I've no idea if Bromball recognises this because he's clearly read everything Cass but that doesn't necessarily mean he understands the nuances of the al Ghuls portrayal throughout the years. Crossing my fingers that he knows what he's doing and has a solid way of retconning her backstory that doesn't hurt either Ra's or Nyssa but honestly I've no idea what that could be.

I'm terrified of the terror and pain that lives inside me. How it can sleep almost quietly at times, until something pokes it-triggers it-awakens it and it SCREAMS
and screams and screams and screams

SRA Survivors: Overcoming Trauma and Finding Hope
Surviving ritualistic abuse is a harrowing experience that leaves deep scars on the psyche. For many, the path to healing is fraught with challenges, but stories of resilience and recovery serve as beacons of hope. This article delves into the experiences of SRA (Satanic Ritual Abuse) survivors, shedding light on their journeys, the psychological impacts of their trauma, and the avenues for support and healing. Sra Survivors
Understanding SRA
Satanic Ritual Abuse refers to allegations of abuse committed as part of occult or satanic rituals. These allegations often include claims of physical, sexual, and psychological abuse, sometimes involving extreme violence and coercion. While the validity of many SRA claims has been a subject of intense debate, the experiences of those who report such abuse are undeniably profound and traumatic.
The Psychological Impact
The psychological toll of SRA on survivors can be immense. Common symptoms include:
Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD): Flashbacks, nightmares, and severe anxiety are typical symptoms experienced by SRA survivors.
Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID): Some survivors develop DID as a coping mechanism, creating multiple identities to compartmentalize and manage their traumatic experiences.
Depression and Anxiety: Chronic feelings of sadness, hopelessness, and overwhelming fear often plague survivors.
Trust Issues: Given the nature of their abuse, survivors frequently struggle with trusting others, leading to difficulties in forming and maintaining relationships.
Pathways to Healing
Healing from SRA is a long and arduous journey that requires a multifaceted approach. Here are some key components that can aid in the recovery process:
Therapeutic Support:
Trauma-Informed Therapy: Engaging with therapists who understand the complexities of SRA and its impact is crucial. Techniques such as EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and cognitive-behavioral therapy can be beneficial.
Group Therapy: Connecting with others who have similar experiences can provide a sense of community and reduce feelings of isolation.
Support Networks:
Survivor Networks: Organizations and online communities dedicated to SRA survivors offer a platform for sharing experiences and accessing resources.
Supportive Friends and Family: A strong support system can provide emotional stability and practical assistance.
Self-Care and Empowerment:
Mindfulness and Meditation: Practices that promote mindfulness can help survivors manage anxiety and ground themselves in the present moment.
Creative Expression: Art, music, and writing can serve as powerful outlets for processing emotions and reclaiming a sense of self.
Education and Advocacy: Some survivors find purpose and healing in educating others about SRA and advocating for better support systems and recognition of their experiences.
Stories of Resilience
Despite the darkness of their pasts, many SRA survivors have emerged as symbols of resilience and hope. Their stories inspire others to seek help and believe in the possibility of recovery. By sharing their journeys, they not only validate the experiences of fellow survivors but also raise awareness about the realities of ritualistic abuse.
One such survivor, Jane, recounts her journey from despair to empowerment. After years of silence, she found the courage to seek therapy, where she learned to confront her trauma and rebuild her life. Today, Jane works as a counselor, helping other survivors navigate their healing journeys. Sra Survivors
Conclusion
The journey of SRA survivors is marked by profound challenges, but it is also a testament to human resilience and the power of hope. By acknowledging their experiences and providing comprehensive support, society can help these survivors reclaim their lives and move towards a future filled with healing and possibility. For those who have endured such darkness, the path to recovery is a testament to their strength and the unwavering human spirit.

"The Cradle Is Going Away" he targeted the generators through the computers...he obliterated those bases
Here's a fun idea:
The Batfam's body counts get revealed, ranging from 0 to the hundreds.
But there are only question marks next to Tim's.
#batrant#I don't usually like 'confrontation' but I've been speaking a lot lately#you can say 'people get caught in explosions and live all the time in comics' and that's true#or 'Ra's never used it to guilt Tim later so clearly no one died' that's also true#or even 'the comics chose not to ever talk about it again and that's reason enough to think nothing big happened' yeah fair#(tho comics drop a lot of things that probably should've been mentioned again so it's not really That big of an argument)#but not 'he just blew up the computers not the bases' like he very much blew up the bases. they 'went away'#anyway personally I love it when the alarms were not enough to save everyone and he realizes that it's unrealistic to hope so#he doesn't need confirmation he just needs to get that dread of What If They Didn't Make It Out#(and like. not all of them did. according to the art. but there a crew dug some survivors out so we can say the others got dug out too)#also this isn't just about Tim and blowing up the bases#I would write angst about basically any hero having this 'oh fuck what if people died because of what I did/didn't do'#it's specifically because of comic logic that we have all sorts of opportunities for that sort of angst#Tim blowing up the bases is just one of the biggest 'could be nothing could be So Much'#how the bases are secret and the servers were blown...and the sheer scale of it...Tim can't even get actual confirmation of what happened#not like most heroes would be able to at least check the incidents they caused/left behind#(on earth anyway)
