Animation "ma famille et moi" en collaboration avec l’asbl Andenn’AMO

L’équipe de l’AMO a fait appel à moi pour une animation autour de la famille, réalisation d’affiches pour le salon de la parentalité.

Animation réalisé avec les enfants qui fréquentent l’AMO le mercredi après-midi, je leur ai demandé de réaliser leur portrait de famille à la suite de cela, avec leur création nous avons réalisé ensemble ces affiches.

Module d'écriture inclusive Forumactif

Bonjour/bonsoir à toustes ! Puisque mon taff à la base c'est plus de coder que de grapher, je vous partage aujourd'hui un petit module permettant de transformer les points simples en points médians sur forum actif. Pourquoi ce module ? Si certains adons sur navigateurs permettent de le faire automatiquement, ils ne sont malheureusement pas disponible sur tout les navigateurs web. Il y a aussi des raccourcis claviers, mais ça peut rallonger le temps d'écriture et/ou poser quelques difficultés aux RPGistes handi qui ont besoin de faire une manipulation en plus lors de l'écriture. ça permet aussi à celleux qui ne veulent pas installer un addon spécifiquement pour ça (on vous voit celleux qui écrivent leurs RP depuis le PC du boulot) (je suis aussi coupable) de tout de même transformer leurs points de ponctuation simples en points médians, mais aussi à celleux écrivant depuis leur portable de le faire facilement. Utiliser le module : Lorsque vous écrivez votre RP/message en écriture inclusive et utilisez des simples points, comme pour le mot écrivain.e par exemple. Prévisualisez votre message une fois le RP terminé, puis cliquez sur le bouton "en inclusif". Un pop up en haut de votre fenêtre s'ouvriras. Confirmez jusqu'au bout, enregistrez dans le presse papier et collez le nouveau contenu de votre RP/message modifié. Tout vos mots en inclusifs, séparés d'un point simple se transforment en point médian comme ceci : écrivain·e En cas de catastrophe et de bug du module, utilisez le ctr+z (ou commande+z sous Mac) pour retrouver votre texte d'origine. Postez le tel quel, actualisez la page avec F5 puis éditez votre message en utilisant de nouveau le bouton "En inclusif" pour avoir le bon texte dans votre presse papier.

Installer le module :

Créez une nouvelle page Javascript dans votre panneau d'admin via le Module et sélectionnez "sur toutes les pages". Copiez/collez le Javacript.

2) Ensuite, dans votre template posting_body (au sein de la partie "Poster & Messages privés") ajoutez le bouton En Inclusif  où vous le souhaitez :

préférablement au même niveau que vos boutons "prévisualiser" et "envoyer" pour vous repérer, cherchez le commentaire " BEGIN switch_preview " vous y trouverez normalement les boutons de prévisualisation, de brouillon et d'envoi. Icône du cinéma français, Alain Delon s’est éteint ce dimanche 18 août, à 88 ans. De sa révélation sur le grand écran au début des années 1960 à son César du meilleur acteur, retour sur sa carrière en sept films emblématiques qui ont campé son style.

Il était l’un des acteurs qui a enregistré le plus d’entrées en France, totalisant plus de 136 millions de spectateurs avec l’ensemble des films qui l’ont mis en scène. Alain Delon est mort ce dimanche 18 août 2024, à l’âge de 88 ans, ont annoncé ses enfants. La star du grand écran a marqué le cinéma français de son empreinte avec 90 longs-métrages, qui ont façonné sa réputation de légende et son style caractéristique. En voici sept particulièrement marquants.

« Christine » (1958) : sa rencontre avec Romy Schneider Alain Delon n’a que 23 ans et a fait ses premiers pas au cinéma un an plus tôt, dans Quand la femme s’en mêle d’Yves Allégret, lorsque l’actrice allemande Romy Schneider le choisit sur photo pour tourner avec elle dans Christine, de Pierre-Gaspard Huit. Il y incarne le lieutenant Franz Lobheiner, amant d’une riche baronne autrichienne dont il veut rompre, qui tombe follement amoureux de la charmante Christine Weiring, jouée par la jeune star du cinéma qui n’a alors que 20 ans. La première rencontre entre les deux acteurs, à la descente de l’avion, deux mois plus tôt, n’était pourtant pas des plus concluantes. La barrière de la langue les sépare et le duo ne s’entend absolument pas. Ils finiront pourtant par tomber amoureux et former un couple connu comme « les plus beaux fiancés d’Europe ».

« Plein soleil » (1960) : la révélation d’un « jeune premier » Deux ans plus tard, Alain Delon est choisi par le réalisateur René Clément pour jouer dans une adaptation du roman Monsieur Ripley, de Patricia Highsmith. Alors qu’il devait jouer le deuxième rôle masculin, il parvient à convaincre l’équipe de réalisation qu’il serait plus adapté dans le costume du personnage principal, Tom Ripley, qui colle plus à son caractère un peu « voyou ». Avec ce rôle, Alain Delon se révèle sur le grand écran et pose les jalons de ce qui deviendra son style, charismatique et un peu rebelle. « Personne ne savait qui j’étais. Le film qui a fait le tour du monde, a été la base de ma carrière », avait d’ailleurs reconnu l’acteur.

« Le Guépard » (1963) : la palme d’or à Cannes Alain Delon y incarne Tancrède Falconeri, le neveu du prince Fabrice de Salina (Burt Lancaster) qui se lie d’amour avec une bourgeoise, Angelica Sedara (Claudia Cardinale), dans une Italie du milieu du XIXe siècle marquée par le déclin de l’aristocratie traditionnelle. Adapté du roman éponyme de Giuseppe Tomasi di Lampedusa, cette fresque obtient la Palme d’or au Festival de Cannes en 1963 et devient un succès commercial et critique dès sa sortie. Alain Delon, au sommet de son élégance (moustache fine et raie sur le côté), y est l’incarnation de la noblesse. Le couple qu’il forme avec Claudia Cardinale entre dans l’histoire du cinéma. Le film comporte notamment une scène de bal devenue iconique, qui marque la victoire de la bourgeoisie sur la noblesse et où les trajectoires du trio principal trouvent leur aboutissement.

« Le Samouraï » (1967) : la consécration du « genre » Delon Cette première collaboration avec Jean-Pierre Melville donne l’un des chefs-d’œuvre de la filmographie de Delon, qui incarne le tueur solitaire Jef Costello. Fantomatique, inexpressif (son personnage n’a quasiment aucune réplique), obsédé par la maîtrise, avec son regard bleu froid, son imper et son chapeau : ce personnage est à la base du mythe Delon. L’esthétique de ce polar glacial influencera nombre d’autres cinéastes, dont John Woo ou Quentin Tarantino. La collaboration Delon-Melville accouchera d’un autre chef-d’œuvre, Le Cercle rouge (1970, avec Bourvil), avant Un flic (1972).

« La Piscine » (1969) : les retrouvailles avec Romy Schneider Mi-drame, mi-polar, ce film de Jacques Deray marque les retrouvailles entre Alain Delon et Romy Schneider, avec qui il a formé un couple mythique du cinéma français. Il n’y aura pas de retour de flamme entre eux mais la carrière de l’actrice allemande, alors en demi-teinte, redécolle. Plus de 3 millions de spectateurs plongent dans la piscine au-dessus de Saint-Tropez, fréquentée par le couple mais aussi par Maurice Ronet et Jane Birkin. Delon dira plus tard : « Ce film, je ne peux plus le regarder. Trop douloureux de revoir Romy et Maurice (morts en 1982 et 1983, N.D.L.R) rire aux éclats. »

« Borsalino » (1970) : son duo iconique avec Belmondo C’est encore grâce à Jacques Deray qu’Alain Delon connaît un vrai succès populaire avec Borsalino, où il forme un tandem iconique avec Jean-Paul Belmondo. Le film, histoire de deux jeunes voyous qui tentent de devenir les caïds de la pègre marseillaise, marque le point d’orgue du duo entre Delon et son rival, mais aussi ami. « Heureusement qu’il était là. Ni l’un ni l’autre n’aurait fait la même carrière sans l’autre. Il y avait une compétition mais aussi une sorte de stimulation entre nous. Ça m’aurait vraiment emmerdé qu’il ne soit pas là. Qu’est-ce que j’aurais foutu sans lui pendant cinquante ans ? » Le succès est au rendez-vous : le long métrage enregistre plus de 4,7 millions d’entrées et une suite, Borsalino and Co, sort au cinéma quatre ans plus tard.

« Notre histoire » (1984) : son seul César du meilleur acteur Malgré son immense carrière, Alain Delon n’a décroché qu’une seule fois le César du meilleur acteur obtenu en 1985 pour son rôle dans Notre histoire, de Bertrand Blier, sorti l’année précédente. Cette comédie dramatique, parfois absurde, parle de solitude et d’amour, autour de la rencontre dans un train, entre Robert, la quarantaine fatiguée, et une jeune femme désabusée, incarnée par Nathalie Baye. Le public ne suivra pas, mais la critique a majoritairement aimé ce film dans lequel Delon a pris des risques pour camper un personnage fragile, un ivrogne, bien loin de celui qu’il interprétait dans le Samouraï.

Alain Delon, qui avait commencé sa carrière à la fin des années 1950, était l’un des derniers monstres sacrés du cinéma français.

Né le 8 novembre 1935 à Sceaux (Hauts-de-Seine), Alain Delon fait ses débuts sur le grand écran à la fin des années 1950, dans Quand la femme s’en mêle, d’Yves Allégret.

Ces premiers pas au cinéma, il les doit à un « scout » qui les repère, lui et son charisme, lors d’un casting sauvage réalisé en marge du Festival de Cannes, à une époque où le jeune Alain Delon enchaîne les petits boulots. Quelques mois plus tôt, il était revenu d’Indochine, où il a servi dans la Marine, avant d’être renvoyé pour avoir, selon la légende, « emprunté » une jeep pour aller faire la fête. Un beau gosse un rien rebelle. Tout Delon est là, déjà.

Ce personnage de voyou magnifique, auquel sa nature semble le prédestiner, Alain Delon va l’étrenner, le perfectionner durant une bonne partie de sa carrière.

Très rapidement, on le verra ainsi incarner un tueur à gages dans Le Samouraï (1967), dans l’une de ses nombreuses collaborations avec Jean-Pierre Melville. Puis, dans Borsalino (1970), où il partage l’affiche avec son meilleur ennemi, Jean-Paul Belmondo, il prend les traits d’un éminent membre de la pègre marseillaise.

Toujours en 1970, dans Le Cercle rouge, il joue un autre bandit de classe, traqué par un Bourvil à contre-emploi. Mais, plus tard, les Français le verront passer de l’autre côté de l’insigne, dans Parole de flic ou Pour la peau d’un flic, film qu’il produira, comme une trentaine d’autres.

La rubrique des faits divers, celui qui ne cachera jamais ses attaches à droite la côtoiera également dans le civil. À la fin des années 1960, alors qu’il est au faîte de sa gloire, il sera ainsi entendu dans le cadre de la médiatique affaire Markovic, du nom de son ancien homme à tout faire yougoslave, retrouvé assassiné. La procédure, dans laquelle un ami d’Alain Delon, François Marcantoni, était le principal suspect, avait débouché sur un non-lieu pour preuves insuffisantes. Elle aura néanmoins perturbé le tournage du Clan des Siciliens, dans lequel il partage l’affiche Jean Gabin et Lino Ventura. Rien que ça.

Puis, au tournant des années 2023 et 2024, il sera l’objet d’une brouille entre ses enfants, Anouckha, Alain-Fabien et Anthony, sur fond d’héritage et de présence d’une « dame de compagnie », Hiromi Rollin. La découverte, quelques semaines plus tard, des dizaines d’armes que possède l’acteur dans sa résidence de Douchy (Loiret), finira d’alimenter une chronique qui aura quelque peu terni l’image de l’acteur.

Mais, entre-temps, Alain Delon aura peaufiné son autre facette, celle du séducteur à la gueule d’ange. Celle-ci crève l’écran dès 1960, dans Plein Soleil de René Clément et dans Rocco et ses frères, où Delon donne la réplique à Claudia Cardinale, sous les ordres de l’un de ses mentors, Luchino Visconti.

Ce séducteur patenté, les spectateurs le retrouveront régulièrement par la suite. Dans Le Guépard (1963), film-fleuve issu de l’œuvre de Giuseppe Tomasi di Lampedusa, par exemple. Mais aussi, et peut-être surtout, dans La Piscine (1970), film sensuel dans lequel Delon donne la réplique à Romy Schneider, son ex-compagne.

Plus que ceux qu’il forma avec Nathalie Delon, Mireille Darc ou, un temps, avec Dalida, le couple mythique qu’Alain Delon forma avec l’interprète de Sissi, contribuera à le faire entrer dans la légende du cinéma français, celle à laquelle, diront ses détracteurs, il était si conscient d’appartenir. Difficile toutefois, en regardant dans le rétroviseur, de le contredire sur ce point.

Arcane

Je découvre actuellement la série animée Arcane, et dès les premières images, j’ai été happée par l’histoire, les personnages et surtout la relation fascinante entre les deux sœurs, Vi et Powder/Jinx.

Pour moi, une belle histoire, c’est avant tout une histoire qui parvient à me faire ressentir des émotions. Et avec Arcane, c’est précisément ce qui se passe : la série m’a émue et captivée dès les premiers instants.

Cette série, produite par Riot Games (créateurs du jeu vidéo League of Legends) en collaboration avec Fortiche Production, un talentueux studio d’animation français, est une œuvre qui m’a immédiatement séduite.

Pour être honnête, je ne viens pas du tout de l’univers des jeux vidéo. Je ne joue pas et je ne connais rien de League of Legends. Et c’est là l’une des plus grandes forces d’Arcane : aucune connaissance préalable n’est nécessaire pour apprécier pleinement la série. Elle se suffit à elle-même, grâce à une narration solide, des personnages profonds et un univers visuellement époustouflant.

Arcane explore les origines de Vi, Jinx, Jayce, et Caitlyn, tout en développant les conflits sociaux et politiques entre deux villes : Piltover, la cité prospère de la technologie, et Zaun, un quartier souterrain plus sombre.

Le style visuel est une esthétique spectaculaire, magnifique et riche.

La série explore des thèmes profonds comme la lutte des classes, les liens familiaux, la trahison et les conséquences des choix.

L'évolution des personnages, en particulier celle de Vi et Powder/Jinx, est le point central.

Arcane est destinée à un public adulte. Elle aborde des thèmes matures avec une narration sérieuse et émotionnelle.

Le générique est stupéfiant avec la bande son mémorable du groupe Imagine Dragons.

Il y aurait beaucoup à dire sur cette série et surtout Vi et Powder/Jinx.

Bonjour tout le monde, une fois n'est pas coutume, je fais ce post en français pour les gens qui me suivent et qui pourraient le voir. Une pétition intitulée Touche Pas Ma VF a été lancée par les comédiens de doublage, contre l'utilisation de l'Intelligence Artificielle dans le doublage.

Des Intelligences Artificielles, entraînées sur la voix de vrais comédiens, pourraient mener à la disparition complète du métier de comédien — et avec eux, de tous les autres qui fonctionnent en collaboration avec eux, comme les ingénieurs sons, les directeurs artistiques, tous les rôles dans la production, et les auteurs et adaptateurs de doublage, sous-titrage, etc. Elles ne permettent bien sûr pas de reproduire leur savoir-faire, mais bon, elles coûteront moins cher, donc...

Évidemment, une pétition a une portée limitée, et en parallèle, les comédiens encouragent à interpeller Rachida Dati, ministre de la Culture, sur les réseaux sociaux. Malgré ça, signer la pétition permet de montrer le volume de personnes à qui ça tient à cœur et soutiendrait le mouvement.

I told you I wouldn't leave without saying goodbye, which means my disappearance has only one explanation: my previous account was deleted. Have I been reported? For what reason? I don't know the reasons for the deletion of my account, but I only know that I was not informed of it.

N'hésitez pas à m'envoyer un message 😁 Je vous avais dit que je ne partirais pas sans vous dire au revoir, ce qui signifie que ma disparition n'a qu'une seule explication : mon précédent compte a été supprimé. Ai-je été signalé ? Pour quelle raison ? J'ignore les motifs de la suppression de mon compte, mais je sais seulement que je n'en ai pas été informé. Et que cela a eu pour conséquence la perte de toutes mes histoires publiées, c'est-à-dire près de 500 depuis 2019, ce qui revient à environ une centaine par an depuis 5 ans.

Tumblr faisait parti de ma vie avant 2019 et le début de mon compte, et j'y ai passé des moments merveilleux, j'ai commencé à devenir connu et avoir des centaines d'abonnés. Je n'oublierais pas les bons moments, les échanges et les belles rencontres.

Écrire sur Tumblr me permettait de faire parti d'une communauté, et de me découvrir par des échanges, et de m'épanouir sexuellement. J'aurais pu choisir de ne pas tenter de revenir sur Tumblr, mais j'ai très mal vécu ma disparition, comme si je n'avais jamais existé.

J'ignore ce qui m'a valu d'être supprimé, d'autant que j'avais plus de 250 brouillons d'histoires, d'articles, de jeux, de collaborations attendant d'être publiées. Fic idea: Dooku gets the entire Night crew together (Talzin, Ventress, Savage, Maul, Maul's Mando and Shadow Collective) as well as Grevious + droid army and they roll up on Sheev. They suffer losses but the Count ends up with a successful CIS and a depleted Republic rump state suffering under war reparations. Maybe somehow Order 66 gets triggered, that's up to you. He lives to become the gentleman elder statesman but there is Byzantine court intrigue everywhere.

....It remains so interesting to me that Dooku seems to have been VERY compelled by the idea of killing Sidious but believed he needed someone else's help - Asajj, Obi-Wan, Savage, someone - to do it. Dooku's main personality trait is Thinking Too Much of His Own Abilities, so I don't think he would be so desperate for a team-up unless he had well and truly fucked around and found out about Sidious's power level against his own. I have to believe early in his apprenticeship, Sidious steamrolled him badly enough to put the fear of god into him for the next ten years.

The Nightsister contingent would be a perfect choice. Talzin (and Asajj, in Legends) outright tells Dooku to his face that Sidious is gonna kill him one of these days. Dooku's first words to Savage when he finally apprentices him in TCW is "together, we can get Sidious!" So you KNOW Dooku has seen all that Nightsister magic and pictured Sidious with a smoking green hole in his chest and little x's over his eyes.

I think the real fun here would be Maul + Dooku. Ugh, imagine getting to write a Dooku and Maul fighting Sidious scene?! Dooku's practically breathing lightning while Maul has got the double blade flashing. (Sidious thinks they're both the stupidest thing he's ever seen.) Gahhh. Stupid fucking hot. But I think this is a good point for delicious delicious tension in the fic too, because Maul HATES Dooku for replacing him (and for being a former Jedi no less) and Dooku HATES Maul for killing Qui-Gon, and there's so much nastiness there. Getting those two to begrudgingly collaborate would be so tasty!!! 10 bucks says Sidious gets stabbed and the very next second, the two of them go from team up to attacking each other.

Not quite a fall

Here is an idea that takes the horrifying absurdity of the Clone Wars and magnifies it.  Please keep your hands and feet inside the ride at all times…unless you wish to become part of the ride itself. Then grab onto these characters and you too can try to wrangle them. 

I do want to make it clear from the start that the Jedi Council and Dooku are making the best of some fairly shitty options, at this point and in the future. The Jedi do not know/cannot prove Palpatine is Sidious and the reality is that without absolute proof they risk being wrong and if they are then the real Sith master will go to ground and they will be left with nothing.  In addition Palpatine has contingencies for every aspect of his plan (and likely did in canon as well, if he had a contingency clones for himself), including if clones were found early, the chips did not work as intended, and the Jedi found out too early. It may not be obvious, or seem counterintuitive for the Jedi to keep walking forward, even knowing of the trap, knowing that so many would likely die in this fabricated war. But this is not meant to be criticizing the Jedi for the shitty options they had. 

Now we start with Yan Dooku, prior to his Fall. This is also before the Naboo crisis , in fact this is in the beginning when Palpatine is still manipulating him. 

*-As a side note, have you ever tried to look into the timeline for the clones and try to fit it into the greater timeline. That shit is wild. Jango Fett is recruited for Operation Knightfall-Order 66 and the clone project- in 32 BBY. This is the same year of the Naboo crisis and, according to Wookiepeidia, it is also the year that Cody was born. Based on what we know of the Kaminoan numbering system for the clones, there were at least 2 batches before Cody’s-The Nulls and the Alphas. Jango Fett was recruited by Dooku after his Fall, and he is said to have fallen after Qui Gonn’s death. I get that Palpatine had already been building towards this but man for this timeline to work Dooku had a quicker Fall time than Anakin-who went from ‘stop him’ to ‘time to murder children’ in a distressingly short period of time-  All this adds up to 32 BBY being, like, 2020 COVID  levels of crazy. Because we had Qui Gon’s death, Dooku’s fall, the recruitment of Jango Fett-I understand there was a bounty hunt as an audition-, and all of this happened in enough time for at least 3 batches of clones- possibly more- to be born in 32BBY. How long is the gestation period for the clones? How is gestation and decanting set up so this timeline works. The Galactic Standard year is a 12 month/368 day model. Even if we presume that the double aging is also present in gestation, thus instead of 9 months it takes 4.5 months, that is still 13.5 months for 3 batches. Even with a staggered start cycles-batch 1 is the start point, batch 2 starts a week later, batch 3 starts a week after that and we can get everything down to a minimum 5 months, there still so much shit that has to happen in 7 months-*

In this Dooku, as a Jedi Master, does recognize that he is being manipulated and goes to the Jedi Council. He has just enough proof to prove that the Sith were back but does now know who (He knows that Palptine is involved but does not know if he is a Sith, a willing collaborator, or a patsy). The council decides that Dooku would go undercover as it were, to pretend that he is falling for Palpatine’s manipulation and to let it go to its natural conclusion, which they all presume will end with Dooku pretending to fall.  Outside of the Council, there are only three other Jedi that are told of this assignment. Shadows Tholme and Quinlan Vos (though a senior Padawan at the time) were his contacts. The only other person told was Senior Padawan Obi Wan Kenobi, at the insistence of Mace Windu (Now this was not through some belief in Obi Wan as a person, or his value to such a mission. It was purely so that he could keep Qui Gon Jinn from flipping his lid when and if Dooku needed to pretend to be a Sith. Jinn was not told because no one thought that he could keep from endangering everyone through some ‘Will of the Force’ reasoning or trying to be ‘helpful’).  Neither Obi Wan or the Shadows are told who else knows (though Vos and Thome do know the other is aware), and Obi Wan still has no contact with Dooku, so this knowledge does not change much at first. To be exceedingly clear, Obi Wan is only told that Master Yan Dooku is taking a long term mission where he might have to appear to Fall, in which case Obi Wan is going to need to keep Qui Gon from interfering; he is given no other information about to mission or what is being found.  As it turns out Qui Gon dies just before Dooku ‘falls’. 

The clones are still commissioned, but they are not chipped; save for a single clone whose name later becomes Chip, this is the clone that Dooku shows to Palpatine as proof the plan was going as it should. This Dooku is more involved with the Clones. Though the trainers do not know it (having entirely bought into project Knightfall), Dooku carefully teaches the clones th truth of their existence (that the war they are being commissioned for is BS, purely a trap for the Jedi and that they would have been designed to both love and be forced kill the Jedi). In essence he trains them to be spies in the guise of soldiers.  He has reported the existence of the clones to the council, but like Dooku they are stuck by what they can visibly do with the information. There is some limited secret contact between the leaders of the clones (The Alpha’s as the Nulls had been adopted by Kal Skirata) and the Jedi Council, in which the Jedi Council apologizes for what is being asked of the clones and plans are made to help those that need an escape wherever they are able (Dooku ‘claims’ as many clones that were due to be decommissioned for his own ‘experiments’ as he is able, most of the time that meant that clones who were to be decommissioned were sent to live on a small, unpopulated moon in Serrano’s system-the exceptions to this were clones born with fatal, untreatable congenital defects, for example being without enough of their major organs that there would be no way to grow more before the child died in agony-those few who were truly not viable were given a painless death. It becomes a practice amongst the clones that anyone who truly did not want to fight would drop their scores into Decommission range). 

To this end the Coruscant Guard were specifically chosen because they were the best at that kind of subterfuge, the clone equivalent of the Jedi Shadows and the ones who could keep themselves hidden/shielded against mind control 24/7. Fox is the only non Force sensitive, near human in the galaxy who is entirely impervious to Jedi mind tricks and Sith Mind control, the reason he was given the command that would have given him the most contact with Palpatine. They find out, much later, that some strange mutation makes him entirely impervious to any Force based power that will cause him harm.

When the time comes to enact the plans to start the war, Dooku still sends Jango Fett to lure Obi Wan to Geonosis.  But Obi Wan goes to Kamino knowing that he was going to find the Clones (having been briefed by the Council, who had been informed by Dooku). Anakin is not aware of the second layer to their mission to protect Padme, having never been brought into the loop regarding Dooku.  Obi Wan and Dooku have a pleasant conversation about both Qui Gon (and how he was likely watching from the Force), and there is a plan in place for Obi Wan to escape before the gladiatorial arena in a way that still would spark the war, but not cost lives.  That plan had to be abruptly scrapped when Anakin and Padem showed up on Geonosis to ‘rescue’ Obi Wan, after they sent a message to the council.  One of the major changes to Geonosis is how Anakin lost his hand; it was not chopped off by Dooku but lost in an explosion caused by the droids. 

Here is where we start to get into the horror and the humor. Because this war is fabricated, a thing of smoke and mirrors whose sole purpose is to collect power for a few individuals. More importantly this is a Bullshit created war for the purpose of trapping the Jedi. The upper command on both sides (Jedi High council, Dooku and later Ventress, Palpatine, Grievous) know that the entire war is bullshit, though Palpatine does not know that the JHC are aware. The troopers, from the youngest to the oldest clones, are all utterly aware that the war is bullshit. They grew knowing they would be fighting in a war that was utter bullshit.  The reason that the Droids could not be programmed for critical thinking was that it took them a maximum one battle to realize the war was bullshit, and they were not pleased about being cannon fodder. 

In fact there were only two groups who were actually affected by the war that were not aware that the entire thing was contrived bullshit. 

Every office not part of the high command (non clone officers, Jedi Generals, the entire command structure between fielded droids and CIS Generals on Grievous's level-I have no idea how the command structure of the CIS army works and barely any more about the GAR structure but work with me here), which I tend to think of as the middle management is the first group. 

The other is the innocents being attacked by CIS forces.  To them the war is very real.

Until they know for sure who the Sith Master is Dooku, the Jedi High Command(now including a fully read-in Obi Wan), or the Clones cannot let on that they know the war is ultimately bullshit. And there are too many innocents at stake to completely blow off or fake fighting. Yes when Dooku, and Ventress after she is brought into the fold, are in command they tend to try and take worlds with resources but little to no populations and they disengage as soon as they possibly can,  but there are too many who buy into ‘The War’ or the power that they are getting to fake battles and in battles someone is bound to die. 

Imagine being one of the Jedi Councilors and high generals, knowing (instead of just suspecting) that every battle they go into is unnecessary bullshit to trap the Jedi. Knowing that their troopers know that they are being sent into battle for unnecessary bullshit, but everyone having to pretend that they buy into the bullshit, that they have to pretend ignorance of things so gallingly obvious.

-In this world the Jedi council has created a secret process for allowing the defection of troopers that do not want to fight. Pong Krell (who never got to the point of Falling, as he never got used to thinking the clones were non sentient) and a handful of other Jedi spread throughout the system's armies, maintained a deliberately high ‘casualty’ rate to go with their high success rate. Clones that wanted to defect were transferred to these specific battalions where they were ‘killed in action’ and transported to a way point that relays them to the planet the decommissioned clones went to. None of these Jedi know that Dooku is actually on their side, or that the whole war is bullshit, but they are able to hang onto their sanity a bit better for this process. -

Picture Dooku, and later Ventress, staring across the battlefield as horrified at the lives being taken as the Jedi. Still having to pretend to buy in, saying all the right things (Ventress does still take Wolffe’s eye, but it is Wolffe’s idea to help sell that Ventress is not ‘too soft’ on the clones she is fighting). Imagine having to calculate the exact point they can withdraw, when they have to press their victory for appearances. Knowing that they (as Ventress was completing her Jedi training under Dooku, who does not want her to be lost to the darkside) have to reconcile killing for the sake of appearances.  Having to bury their own horror when they work with other CIS high command, who very much know that the entire war is bullshit but don’t care, or are actively enjoying, the lives lost. 

It changes some details, both major and minor, on who dies when, but in the grand scheme of things this knowledge does not change the overall trajectory of the war (though Dooku is not killed). It is still three years in that Palpatine tells Anakin (who, at no point, is brought into the loop about Dooku, the defection of clones, or any of it-mostly because no one not in a very strict ‘need to know’ was told and partly because the Jedi Council allowed the clones themselves to decide who would know about the defection battalions; they could not quite convince themselves that he would not share that information where he should not) that he is the Sith Master. Anakin runs to tell Windu. 

But in this, instead of gathering the council to fight Sidious, Windu’s first action is to comm Fox. All he says to the head of the CG is, ‘Palpatine has just confirmed that he is the Sith Master’. 

Fox responds with, ‘I will comm you when it is done’.

Anakin is standing there, breathing heavily from running all the way from the Senate, very unsure what was going on but certain the announcement that Palpatine was a Sith should be taken with some more urgency than Windu was showing. 

Ponds enters and when he is told who the Sith is he sighs, deeply. “I was so sure it was that odious aide of Palpatine’s” (Whom Pond refers to only by the name of Bastard, if at all).

Just as Anakin is starting to become antsy (very much in the mindset of ‘shouldn’t we do something about the professed Sith in the same building as my secret wife?) Fox comms back. His hair is sticking straight away from his head (he found out that Palpatine’s Lighting did not hurt him the old fashioned way) and reports that Palpatine is very dead (each Guard wanted to make sure…and shooting is a good way to make sure), the Senate is in lockdown, to tell Skywalker that his wife is on a medical transport for the Temple’s Healing Halls (using those exact words),and that Fox will be filing a formal complaint against the Naboo education system for poor sex ed.  

After the call is done, the next call Windu puts in is to Dooku. Windu tells Dooku that it is time to come home.  Anakin watches horrified fascination as Dooku visibly sags with relief, saying that he and Ventress just need to tie up some loose ends here and to have a therapist ready.

LATE-BREAKING FLASH REPORT: 'Ankama Animations' will soon wrap the upcoming 5th and Final Season of 'Wakfu', pre-production and crowdfunding are in the works [#K5NewsFMExclusive]

ROUBAIX, FRANCE -- French entertainment company 'Ankama Animations' recently announced that the long-awaited 5th season of 'Wakfu' will actually mark the end in France. It was reported last Wednesday night (December 18th, 2024 -- France local time) during the company's event of "Ankama Showtime" at the online video game broadcaster 'Twitch', the said animated series is finishing its run with a climactic 26-episode finale.

The decision to make a 5th Season is due to the fact that Season 4 has been so successful that most people thought it was going to be the last season and received astonished ratings, so people wanted an absolute proper ending for one more season. 'Wakfu' premiered at the end of October 2008, and has been a flagship of French animation ever since, chronicling the adventures of the Brotherhood of the Tofu. In this upcoming season, viewers will get to see the early stages of Yugo Sharm and Prncs. Amalia Sheran Sharm's marriage, along with the introduction of a new, enigmatic antagonist.

This development was further detailed in an online press briefing by 'XyaLe7111', Ankama's Transmedia Manager said in part: "Wakfu (Season 5) will be the last season. It is the conclusion of 16 years of animated adventures with the Brotherhood of the Tofu. [The last] 26 episodes will tell the story of the early days of Yugo Sharm and Amalia Sheran Sharm's marriage and introduce a new narrative arc and a new antagonist. Well, not really a new antagonist, but I won't reveal everything just yet!", she noted in French dialect.

As previously reported by DWFH-FM 97.7mhz's K5 News FM: Dumaguete during the Annecy Festival in mid-June 2024, Season 5 has been greenlit in collaboration with France Télévisions, alongside FranceTVSlash and France 4.

The involvement of the public broadcaster helps maintain a legacy that has significantly impacted animated storytelling in France. As previously noted, it was unexpectedly decided not to air the full 4th Season on France 4. Instead, the episodes will be released first on the 'Ankama Launcher', the Okoo app, and the France TV website, as they went beyond the intended demographic for national kids and teens TV.

Ankama will soon be funding all the production costs to the public broadcaster, and reaching to fans all over the globe, including the Philippines, by running a Kickstarter for February 2025. Pre-production will soon get underway as writing for the final new season has been initiated. As of yet, no official release date is announced, but based on the show's creator 'Anthony Roux', per the X Network tweeted post (formerly Twitter), Wakfu (Season 5) could premiere as early as 2027.

The focus of crowdfunding by Ankama mirrors the fact that the animation company strives to make a season for its Wakfunian fans, bringing this saga to a befitting end after 16 years of captivating people who were in part for its history the animated cartoon community.
