he sometimes likes to stream, just to get to know his fanbase better and to just hang out

normally he texts you to let you know abt it, but today he totally forgot

you came home from work and you saw his office door closed + heard the sound of his loud ass keyboard clicking.... my guy beats that shit UP atp

i think jay would try to be more private abt his personal life to his viewers, just given the nature of his content

though, it's no secret that jay has a s/o to his viewers, and i think they'd know your name

but yk how at the end of cooking videos, after the chef cooks, they try the food...

i think in a few of his videos, there's clips of you and him trying his food, but while jay is usually in-frame, you're either behind the camera or just barely in the frame so that most people have really only heard your voice and seen your hands

the comments are usually tame, like

You hadn’t shown up to work for the week, taking the precious sick leave you had been hoarding and spending it all on arguing and throwing things into cardboard boxes. Not your stuff, but Lloyd's. And Spencer had spent those days pulling at his hair, tapping his fingers on his desk, and watching the automatic glass doors of the bullpen open just to find somebody else.

To everyone else’s knowledge, you simply had a bad stomach bug, but to Spencer it was much more. His stress was just a ticking time bomb waiting to detonate if one more person asks him how you were. Because he didn’t know. Not only were you physically absent from Spencer’s life, but virtually as well. No texts, calls, online likes or tags. It made him think the of the worst possibilities.

That’s where he was now, sat at his desk, finger tapping, leg bouncing, eyes darting from glass doors to blank phone, before he grabbed his phone and started to Hotchner’s office. His steps echoed in the early morning office sepace, patting his sweaty hands down his pants. But he didn’t make it very far before he heard Garcia’s familiar squeal, and your own genuine giggle.

Six days had been the longest you went without seeing Spencer, let alone your entire group, since you got the job. But you couldn’t put such a burden on these people, especially not the one who had seen you break down in his own apartment. To you, this was something you needed to figure out slowly and alone. Alone. Thank god, you were single now.

“I’m glad you’re feeling better, just a flu?” Garcia asked, slipping one of her arms into yours and walking you to your desk.

“Stomach bug.” You smiled, patting her hand and sitting down at your desk. You looked at all of your trinkets and photos, happy to see that you never actually put a couple photo on your desk, and happy to see a photo of your team all together instead.

Spencer spun on his heel and widened his eyes, a breath escaping him in relief.

“Y/n.”

You looked up and stared at the man, the bags under his eyes deepened and the creases between his brows appearing like scars.

“Spence, hey.” You smiled as Garcia took his hurried steps as her queue to leave.

“How are you-“

“He’s gone. Sorry you cut you off.” Your hands started fidgeting, you looked askance. Spencer’s eyes betrayed him in his shock, thankfully his lips didn’t betray him in his happiness.

“Oh. That’s great.” Spencer nodded and had to shake the sudden urge to grab your hands and squeeze them. He could feel the possibilities in his fingertips by the second, but he couldn’t lose sight of the bigger issue here. “Are you gonna work a case with us? Are you feeling… better?” He asked with full care in his warm brown eyes.

“Yeah, I’m better. I mean, I’m not great yet but I’m better. Still thinking about things.”

He nodded, but before he could ask anything more, the rest of the team emerged from the elevators.

“Eden Lim, missing for 9 hours after her mother left the front door open to let in fresh air. Power outage in the neighbourhood took out all the air conditionings. Neighbours are either elderly couples or other families.” JJ handed out manila folders and picked up the remote to the Tv screen, showing a photo of a sweet little girl with her mother in a slightly professional set up. Aaron nodded and started, “Wheels up in thirty, JJ organise a meeting with their sheriff and investigators.”

On the plane, you were surprised to say the least. You found out you were pregnant by a sudden sickness, and now, you felt fine. Even though you didn’t get plane sick often, you expected at least a little nausea or maybe a headache. But honestly? You felt fine. Maybe you were a superwoman, one of the rare lucky mothers that don’t get sick often.

That’s what starts to distract you, the thought of the future. You didn’t know anything about pregnancy, let alone parenting. The last time you babysat was for Emily’s cat. Your hands started sweating and you bit the inside of your lip to attempt a suppression of nerves, but you obviously weren’t slick enough.

Hotch sends a glance your way, “You okay, Y/n?”

You smile softly, “Yeah, just the plane is kinda waking up my stomach.”

He nodded, seemingly accepting of that answer, and you gave yourself a mental fist bump.

You try to refocus on the case, but another factor is making this specific one harder.

The top name on your baby name list since you were 16, the one you sort of planned to use without much second thought. The one who belongs to a missing child.

A young man who had just lost his son stole Eden, took her to his house, and treated her well. He was a father who had suffered loss, and took from someone else in the same way so that he wasn’t alone in his feelings.

Something about that felt slightly relatable. If Lloyd knew how you were feeling, maybe he would understand the weight on your shoulders.

You walked with Spencer to your desk, the aura around you both feeling like it was going back to normal, just with another layer on top. The secret kept between you two, a bigger one than any of the others. You flicked your small, dark green scarf over your shoulder, the difference in temperature from the case hitting you harder than usual.

Spencer slipped his satchel over his shoulder and sent you a smile. You felt a spin in your stomach because of the sight, and looked down to hide your face discreetly. You heard a small clear of the throat and then Spencer’s voice,

“Hey, can I ask you something?”

“Of course.”

“Every time the victims name was mentioned, you sniffled, you rubbed your arm, or took a harder breath. Why is that?”

You widened your eyes, nearly laughing at the question. You had no idea Spencer was paying that much attention to you. Honestly, you thought he was going out of his way to avoid you to lower the chances of the team getting suspicious.

“Oh, it’s just uh. Eden has been on my baby name list since I was a teenager.”

Spencer’s shoulders tensed slightly, and his mouth opened as he nodded. His heart broke a little more. And he realised this was the first time you two were having a conversation since the night you stayed at his apartment. Not only was it making it real for you, it was making it real for him. Although, he had already vowed to himself that he would help you out with anything you needed, he doubted his mental capacity to take care of a baby made from the women he loves and a man he despises.

You both started walking to the elevator, always the last two in the office before Hotch, and you subconsciously stayed close to him. A pang hit your lower stomach that you pushed down.

“How are you doing, physically and mentally?” Spencer pushed the button with the down arrow, and looked down at you. His hair was slightly ruffled, his tie askew, but his eyes were how they always were when they looked at you, full. Full of care, of adoration, of worry, of knowing. Full of… something that could ruin both of you if he made the wrong decisions.

You took a breath and had to tear your gaze off of his, “Well, like I said, I broke up with Lloyd. He didn’t want to be a father, and when I told him I didn’t know what to do with the… baby, he said… he said… he told me to ‘stick something up there’ if I couldn’t afford another way.”

Spencer felt a rush of rage wash over him, his cheeks reddening and his hands fidgeting harder by the second. How could he?

“Basically, the opposite of how you reacted,” you laughed but it didn’t last long.

“Y/n… why haven’t you told me about him before? I didn’t even know you had been talking to guys until you were already dating one of them. If you told me about him I could’ve… I don’t know.”

“Open my eyes?” You smile sadly, and nod. “If I told you about him, and about how he acted… it was kind of like complaining about a sapling to an oak tree. Complaining about a page to a library. Complaining about a dickhead to…” You shook your head, “I felt embarrassed. And, I want you to think highly of me. But I guess after all of this, I can’t really help it anymore.”

Spencer stopped you in front of the elevator and took your hands, he looked at you with concern, and a bit of anger.

“Y/n I don’t hate you, or think any lesser of you just because you’re… pregnant, or because you were with a bad guy. I think that, while it’s true I think Lloyd is a terrible guy and I don’t see a lot of logic in staying with him, it was your own decision. I’ll always respect that.” He glanced down to his hand holding yours and let go of it.

Your eyes widened, panic shot across your face.

“Y/n?” The elevator doors opened.

“I need to go to the bathroom.” You turned and ran to the toilet, hearing Spencer’s steps behind yours a moment later. He called your name, asked you if you felt sick, and it made him feel guilty for making you stress in a time like this.

He hadn’t fully processed that you weren’t just his best friend, his love, but his pregnant best friend.

You pushed on the ladies bathroom door hard and darted for a toilet stall. There is no way I’m peeing my pants in front of Spencer Reid.

You closed the stall, and soon heard Spencer enter the bathroom with no hesitation to the fact it was a women’s room. “Do you need to hold your hair up?”

And even though the offer played with your heart, you quickly denied him, “No, Spencer, I’m not sick. I just needed to…”

You wiped, and suddenly you felt dizzy. Red.

Red?

“Blood…” you whispered to yourself. "Oh my... god."

“Blood!? Y/n, should you go to the hospital?” He stood closer to the door as his heart rate picked up.

You stood up, pulled up your pants and opened the door. Spencer nearly fell into you.

You screwed your eyebrows together in confusion, and all at once a million feelings hit you. Hatred, sadness, depression, heart break, hope, denial, acceptance… relief. You looked down, unable to look at Spencer as your heart quickened, and covered your mouth with your shaking hand.

“Spencer, I’m on my period.”

His big eyes searched yours, looking down and over your face and body and it was like watching him piece a puzzle together. “You’re not…”

You shook your head, and a wave of relief hit you all at once, tears hitting you like a tsunami, your arms wrapping around Spencer’s shoulders like unforgiving ropes. He stilled for a moment, before reciprocating the tight embrace, a breath of air leaving him in the contact. He squeezed his eyes shut and gripping at your work shirt causing wrinkles to appear between his fingers. His large palm warmed your back in soothing strokes before they laid tightly around your ribcage. Honestly, hugging you was a big thing he had been thinking about in your absense - they were always genuine.

You let go and smiled at Spencer widely, the first one you gave him genuinely in too long a time. Spencer placed a hand on your cheek and wiped a tear gently, smiling back at you.

“Oh, Spencer, I’m so… sorry.”

He stopped in his tracks and widened his eyes, “Why?”

“I made you worry for so long-“

“Hey, a false positive is not your fault. You had a less than 1 percent chance of getting one so it’s no wonder it didn’t cross your mind. My mind, as well.” His heart swelled as you two looked into each others eyes. Happy, relieved, suddenly aware of how close you two were to each other.

Spencer dropped his hand, and looked down with a cough. “I’m happy for you, Y/n.”

You nodded with a shy smile, and turned to look back at the toilet, “Well, I’m gonna… you know… take care of this and then… do you wanna get a drink? I need to... I need somewhere that's not my apartment to think about this.”

He blushed slightly, realising where he was, and picked up his satchel, “Yes, of course. Do you want to go to mine? We can pick up drinks on the way?”

"That would be amazing, thank you Spence." "Anything for you."

a/n: this has been in the drafts for a year now💀 so sorry, I am trying to clear the drafts but my schedule is shit and we all know I suck at keeping up with my schedule😍

WELCOME HOME

it was past 8pm when you had treaded through the front door of your apartment. your body sore from leaning over the tables and wiping it. normally, the cafe you work at was peaceful and was decently packed but after a viral video that practically wowed the internet.

there had been more and more people stopping by everyday. the cafe was decently sized but it was short staffed so sometimes you had to man the cashier, do the dishes, clean the tables and make the drinks. for normal days (before the surge of people), there was about 2 people working per shift, not including the 2 bakers in the kitchen as they were the behind the scenes staff that were required to be there.

with not that many staff per shift, it was hard for you and whoever was working that day to manage the cafe. that also meant more demands from the customers who think they are entitled to make a mess of the space as 'customers are always right'. curse, whoever made that quote.

you were mentally and physically drained. you just needed a good long rest for the rest of the week. however, you couldn't do that. not when your off-days were already used up for visiting your family back in your hometown. if only you could just...take a breather.

"welcome home, baby!" ni-ki slides into the hallway just as you walked towards the living room. you gave him a tired smile.

"hi riki, why aren't you at the dorm?" ni-ki gives you a playful pout.

"already kicking me out? baby, you wound me. i came to see you and you're already pushing me away." he says as he throws his (long) arms around you. "you weren't answering my calls so i assumed it was a long day at work and you didn't charge your phone."

you took out your phone and tried to turn it on but it was indeed dead. "sorry, today was a hectic day. couldn't even get a proper lunch break. there was so many people coming over for the past week."

"yeah, i heard about it. jake hyung talked about wanting to come over and buy some desserts. they did look good but since you know us being celebrities...we could get mobbed."

you hummed, "that's fair. it's a good thing you didn't go. seriously, have never seen such a long queue outside of the cafe in my whole years of working there."

"there was a queue?" he says as he pulls back from the hug.

"yeah, i felt like i was working at some fancy restaurant. oh god, speaking of there are so many karens trying to scam me and gaslight me into thinking i did something wrong when i did nothing wrong." you groaned and buried your head against ni-ki's chest.

he pats your head. "were you the shift manager?"

"usually i am whenever i am working that day."

"mmm, then you could've kicked them out and taught them a lesson."

"trust me, i wanted to but i can't i'll lose my job so i just sucked it up and patiently worked with them and even gave them a free bagel."

"not the free bagels, baby. they'll just come back again for more." ni-ki huffs.

"i know but what am i supposed to do." you sniffled as the tears that unknowingly appeared falls. you were just mad and exhausted. ni-ki obviously heard it so he pulls you back and cups your face.

"hey hey, don't cry. everything will be fine. why don't i run you a bath and then order some of your favourite food, okay?" he wipes the tears that were falling down.

"will cuddles be included?"

"of course. cuddles will be included. now, just lay in bed and i'll get the bath running." he pecks your forehead and goes to move to bedroom. however, you grabbed his wrist.

"carry me to my bedroom?" you pout. ni-ki smiles and scoops you up in his arms. he princess carries you over to your bed and places you gently onto the mattress before going over to the bathroom and getting ready the bathtub.

you had shut your eyes for a bit since you were tired but the exhaustion took a toll on you and you fell asleep for a little. ni-ki shakes you a little. "baby? the bath is ready. go enjoy it, i already placed an order so the food should be on the way soon."

you hummed and went over to the bathroom to remove your clothing and step into the bathtub. you laid your back against the edge of the tub and shut your eyes again. the candle light making everything moody and warm. you were enjoying the comfortable warmth and silence, much better than the bustling sounds at the cafe. this felt nice.

you had spent in the bathroom for about 20 minutes or so before deciding to get out of the tub. you didn't want to your fingers or toes to look like dried prunes so you decided to just get out of the water. you had grabbed the towel and dried yourself off. you could hear a knock at the door.

"baby, i have pyjamas with me. i forgot to leave them inside the bathroom." you opened the door to ni-ki. he had one hand out to hold the pyjama set and the other hand covering his eyes. a very gentleman thing of him to always do if you came out of the shower in just your towel.

you had noticed he too was wearing a pyjama set and it was similar to yours. of course, he loved matching things with you. you grabbed the pyjamas. "mmm, i think you forgot to grab my undergarments."

his ears quickly turned red in embarrassment. "ah, i knew i forget something. i-i'll just leave the room so you could change." and so ni-ki bolts out of the room and shuts the door. you shook your head, laughing a little since he was so adorable.

you changed into the pyjamas after putting on your undergarments and then went out to the living room. there ni-ki was, turning on the tv and searching up your favourite anime to watch together and setting up the food onto the coffee table. you had come up behind him and back hugged him.

"i have the best boyfriend in the world." you say. ni-ki smiles.

"well, let's not forget your boyfriend is one of a kind. where can you get another nishimura riki, member of boy band enhypen, in the world." he boasts. you playfully rolled your eyes and released him.

"that's very humble of you, riki." you playfully say.

"oh, i know. i'm just that hot." ni-ki smirks. you laughed.

"yeah, you are. now, will my hunk of a boyfriend please just cuddle and eat with me?"

"of course, i'll eat with my beautiful and amazing girlfriend any time." he steals a small peck to your lips and settles down on the couch. you gave him a playful gaze and settled right next to him.

after some time, you found yourself tangled with ni-ki. your legs and his long ones were somehow crossed in between in each other as you cuddled like cats laying together.

"oh, it's over?" you say.

"no, it can't be." ni-ki gasps.

a flash to the tv showed 'season 2 coming soon'. it made both you and ni-ki groan. "that's lame. we have to wait for the next season? that's going to take 1-2 years." ni-ki whines.

"they're going to pull another 'Spy Family' thing where there isn't going to have episodes in the next season, i can feel it." you complained.

"boooo. let's watch something else." ni-ki grumbles.

"yeah, let's watch-"

"let's watch, you. you're really pretty." ni-ki says as he stares down at you. ah, this playful and teasing ni-ki is appearing now.

"that wasn't that smooth, riki."

"well, to me it was. besides, this is a signal for you to reward me and i don't know give me a kiss or at least a peck? i am an amazing boyfriend, right?"

you snort, "yes, riki. you are but you're not getting that peck."

"what? why." he pouts.

"because..." you got closer to him and watches you with adorable doe eyes. before you unexpectedly peck him and ran away. ni-ki sits there confused, trying to analyse the situation properly. until he finally digested it.

"hey! get back here!" he yells as he tries to chase after you.

you could've not felt any better.

and being with ni-ki helped it.

10 books to read for 2025

tagged by @aidenwaites i actually have a list i wrote out at the start of the year of all the books i own but havent read yet and ive been slowly making my way down it so im just gonna list the next 10 in my queue!

1. the king in yellow by robert w chambers. i found out that the edition i bought and read first only had half the stories that were in the full version (sad since the edition was so pretty) so i bought a complete version to read and its next on my list

2. storm of locusts by rebecca roanhorse. its the second book in her sixth world series which is on indefinite hiatus 💔 i enjoyed the first one a lot so i cant wait to crack into the next. rebecca roanhorses short story in the never whistle at night anthology was one of my favorites and it made me realize id been sleeping on her so i immediately went to grab trail of lightning, which i finally read a couple weeks ago! and it was really good! i love the hatergirl/loverboy dynamic duo going on in this series.

3. blood of hercules by jasmine mas. im gonna hateread and annotate it. pictures from this one have made the rounds on tumblr and it looks bad. really bad.

4. the great hunt by robert jordan. this is the second book in the wheel of time series. ive been seeing so much about the tv show so i decided to check out the books and the first one was pretty good so here i go. transition would save her (rand al thor)

5. hotel magnifique by emily j taylor. i bought this one a while back because it sounded intriguing but then my friend read it and said she hated it. excited to see how bad it is

6. ninth house by leigh bardugo. this ones been haunting me for so long i bought my copy when it first dropped and then never read it even though ive heard so many good things about it. finally getting to it though

7. the haunting of hill house by shirley jackson. i cant believe i havent read it yet honestly. i'll get to you soon 💔

8. scapegracers by h.a. clarke. i absolutely loved this authors other book (metal from heaven) so i immediately went to grab this trilogy. its gonna make me want to eat the pages i can just tell.

9. demon copperhead by barbara kingsolver. ive seen so much hype for this one and a very pretty rainbow edition enticed me.

10. southern book clubs guide to slaying vampires by grady hendrix. this one is a reread. ive been steadily making my way through hendrixs' books recently and i feel the need to revisit this one to really compare it to his other works with fresh eyes. i went to a grady hendrix signing event and he was a really funny guy i hope it still holds up

funnily enough the next two on my list are shriek by jeff vandermeer and house of leaves by mark z danielewski. thats gonna be a harrowing week in reading for me.

hey gang!

i've been thinking, and i think it's about time i take a tiny, teeny lil hiatus. just wanted to let you know i'll be gone for a lil while (hopefully a week+ depending on how it goes). this is NOT because of any of you - in fact i am going to miss you all dearly. just think i need a bit of a mental health reset luvs.

i will have my queue running - i've upped the time and number of posts as well so it will run throughout my normal hours here - and i have content (incorrect tweets, some video edits, gifsets, etc.) lined up until. like may so don't worry about that snkjfk (i won't be gone for that long prommy i just do a lot of content prep). i'll also be watching smosh every day as per usual, and still working on stuff while im gone!! i think this'll be a really great opportunity to get some work done - i have so many fics and passion projects lined up that im really excited about, so hopefully i'll get to finish those in the meantime and i may be back to post them <3 at the very least i'll be back by valentines day for the smoshblr exchange!!

sean has his drivers license and lenny doesnt, which means he owns the car they take everywhere. he has filled it with so much junk, like toolboxes, ladders, a blender, empty food wrappers, pillows etc that no one can sit in the back.

“sean you gotta clean this car out.”

“why would i do that when it doesn’t bother me? it bothers you so you do it.”

“…no.”

lenny loves to watch all kinds of movies he sees on tiktok and since sean doesnt want to be alone he will lie and watch with him. but then he gets bored and plays on his phone, climbs on lenny, complains etc

“i don’t understand this is really boring…”

“its not boring you just have to watch it to understand-”

“but its just people talking its so boring”

“sean you have to pay attention to actually get it”

“ITS BEEN ON FOR HOURS AND I DONT GET IT”

“ITS BEEN ON FOR FIFTEEN MINUTES SEAN”

similarly lenny loves to go to the theatre/cinema so he can review movies and sean loves to go with him just to be there but then ALSO GETS JUST AS BORED after eating 3 quarters of the popcorn and drinking all his slushy. he says he “needs the bathroom” but lenny knows hes going for a wander around and is glad so he isn’t bothered anymore.

“i can’t get any signal lenny”

“you dont need to be on your phone anyway”

“just checking if my da’s messaged me…”

“sean be quiet”

“this is a bit crap isn’t it?”

“no, its really well made-will you just be quiet?”

“i need a wee.”

lenny makes the foodshopping orders because sean just adds a bunch of random things he likes the look of but won’t even eat.

“i don’t think we need that much oreo cereal…”

“i like it lenny”

“you don’t even eat cereal anymore because your teeth are too sensitive!”

“well what about when jack comes round?”

“…and why would jack eat our cereal?”

sean brought home a cat once and lenny was very annoyed because he thought they didn’t need the extra responsibility. two weeks later and lenny is more obsessed with the cat than sean.

“look sean he’s asleep”

“…oh aye.”

“awwh he purrs in his sleep!”

“yeah.”

“look sean, hes laying on the blanket too!”

“…i thought you didn’t like him!”

their apartment is very small and cramped, but they love it amd don’t ever see themselves moving into a house. sean is actually quite obsessed with the interior because he wants to show his da on his next visit how nice their apartment looks. he loves to go into charity shops to see what they have for decoration.

“so today i bought this wee fella to put on the mantel piece!”

“oh…is it a buddah?”

“aye!”

“lovely!”

“and i got this lady too but i don’t know where to put her because she’s quite big-”

“IS THAT A GNOME?”

lenny works at a convenience store while doing his online courses for college. sean does jobs like fixing sinks and mowing lawns for cash. whenever he’s bored, he’ll come to see lenny at work.

“did you miss me? i’ve come to save you from this shite job!”

“yes, very much, now you need to get out of the queue.”

“can i not come behind the counter?”

“no, i’ll get in trouble.”

“can you get me something for free because you work here?”

“no sean, i’ll get in trouble.”

“i’ll go help some customers for you!”

“do you not have an apartment to be tidying?”

lenny’s gallery is just filled with screenshots of sean on facetime because he’s always pulling faces or angrily ranting. they make perfect snapchat stickers that everyone in the gang ends up stealing.

“erm lenny. why does arthur have this picture of me?”

“probably from when you facetimed him…”

“im never facetiming you again you eejit”

everyone thinks sean is more likely to get into a bar fight but its actually lenny. sean has mastered the art of ignoring stupid drunks in the club from his years of experience, but lenny 3 drinks in takes offense to EVERYTHING.

“he’s challenging me.”

“he just laughed at what you said-”

“it wasn’t even FUNNY. he is ABSOLUTELY LITERALLY challenging me!”

“oh really? and i’m absolutely literally taking you home.” 

lenny has baths that last for at least 3 hours and sean always comes wandering in to sit on the bathroom floor and talk to him. he even brings cups of tea in with him and shows lenny tiktoks.

“you know you’re sat in a puddle of your own filth?”

“oh like you everyday?”

“…your going to look like a raisin when you get out.”

“yeah, probably.”

heyo friends! you all have been so lovely to me, and im more than thankful every day that there is even one other person out there that likes to see my silly pixel cats and their shenanigans. its an honor i sometimes wonder if i deserve, but thats my own imposter syndrome talking!

that being said, updates are gonna slow to a bit of a crawl until i can get a healthy balance of art and work figured out. i have a moon coming tomorrow, and then one more this friday (first moon of year 3! woohoo!), but i have no more queued and (atm) i have yet to draw the next moon. i may even take a couple weeks to slowly get a queue built back up, im a little undecided on that front.

you all are awesome and super understanding of course, and i appreciate every single one of you! if you have asks youd like to send, i will try to answer them as best as i can, even with a little traditional doodle like i have done in the past. but for now, thats what we’re looking at! thank you once again!

For the next 2-3 weeks this blog will be pausing it’s posts! I’m doing this for a few reasons:

I'm going on vacation! First time out of the country :3

I need time to queue posts. Each cat takes around 3-5 minutes based on a lot of factors, and I have around 100 asks still in my inbox.

im so tired. finals week and running multiple projects. ive been working a lot on warriors projects ( @felis-artis especially ) and i am burnt out for all things atm. cats are in my brain and i need something to relax.

the queue as i am writing this has 8 posts in it! that is too little, and I need time to queue these cats! too little of them and yet so many of them.... help

HOWEVER! I will be opening the askbox again over the next weeks! I will answer all non-cat asks as soon as I see them and have time to answer them!

Update: Hi, Ran here. Work has picked up this week and I've been crashing after work more often than not lately, so I haven't had the time to actually hunker down and format my longer translations into posts to set up the release queue.

Gakuen K: Munakata Route— I've done 3 events so far but I need to unlock the alt choices in his route before I can post them. This is just a thought, but since I find this game relatively easy to translate compared to everything else I'm currently working on, I'd recommended people trying to learn Japanese to play this game.

Kiniro no Corda Staoke Main Story S1— I'm working on Chapter 4 now! I've completed all chapter 3 translations, but I've yet to have enough time to format them all into posts 🥲

Kiniro no Corda Osakabe Seiji Route: I only have till Chapter 11/15 of his route but ITS DONE! AND HIS 9 WALK DOLCES ARE DONE!!! I'm just waiting to format and release them~

Kiniro no Corda Mikado Ukiha Route— IM SO SORRY ANON... I realized I only have till chapter 5 of his route... but I'm 3/5 parts done! (I do have most chapters of Taiga though)

Light & Night: ...I've started working on an Evan Card but no promises on when it's going to be done because this is a lot of text and I'm trying not to burn myself out from everything 👍 Meanwhile, I'll work on SMS/calls/facetime and the like in the meantime~ If there are any specific MLs you'd like to see short content of, please leave a comment or feel free to come into my asks.

Anon requests: Kujo Soma Cards (Sutamai) + Yume100 Undertaker Story — I've not started on these yet, but I still remember! I'll get to them, but slowly.

I'm struggling because I'm a comic artist at heart I always want to add text everywhere but I feel like that's a cope out to paliate other perceived shortcomings. Don't get me wrong text can be fantastic and I feel like your art Galadriel is a testament to that. But I think I'm not a good enough designer to pull it off satisfyingly myself in illustrations (theres an argument out there about practice making better but I urge you all to believe me that drawing and designing are pretty separate skills and I've consistently found my heart lacking in compatibility with the latter). I wish to figure out a way to communicate my ideas in textless form as much as possible, meaning I have to grasp ways to up my composition game enough so the pictures can stand on their own.

One pleasing note though : I'm having a way easier time drawing pieces with purpose instead of just "pretty stuff" than I used to a mere 10 years ago (a full decade💀But I barely practiced at all this whole time so it feels very short) so progress is definitely being made :D
