OH ABSOLUTELY!! I made this little comic from that because I'm in love with the idea 😭😭 I love it when evil lords do underwhelming things like baking it's great.

Raymesis usually eats the candy off of the floors of Candy Chateau so he never really had any of Mr. Dark's pastries before, usually refusing to eat them. But boy oh boy does he regret it.

I’m completely obsessed with your TGS swap au. I need to know more!! How does Jasper’s werewolfness work? Does he have any control over his wolf form? Does he have to run away/lock himself up/etc bc he’ll attack people? Or does it just need like, enrichment and some snacks?? Does he see it in mirrors like Jekyll/Hyde? Does Rachel still bake? Maybe just as a hobby? How does Lanyon react to Hyde?? Is he just like aw hell yeah, second boyfriend to woo? Or is he offput by him so Hyde tries to woo Lanyon instead. What triggers Jekyll/Hyde’s transformations? Is it just random or emotion based or a secret third thing? Sorry for all the questions lmao!! Love your art!!!

• jasper’s werewolfness! I’m thinking that the more he can accept that he’s a werewolf, the more control he has over it. however he’s not really doing a great job at the whole “accepting I now might be a monster and everyone might hate/be scared of me because of it” thing so his transformations are much more sporadic. and since he was bitten not that long ago, he’s still a little out of control when he transforms. a little more feral..? it really depends on his emotional state when going into his transformation. it’s not so much an alter ego/separate state of mind like hyde is in canon but more like a uncontrollable release of his emotions, so I don’t think he’d be able to see his wolf form in mirrors (that would be funny tho lol). he would definitely enjoy snacks and enrichment when transformed tho. puppy behaviour.

(I don’t have this entirely fleshed out and if someone else has a better idea, shoot!)

• rachel still bakes!! I’m not really sure if she’s still the society’s main cook or not but she definitely still likes to make snacks and treats for everybody.

• lanyon tried flirting with a cute guy he saw only to end up with a surprise two for one deal lmao. he initially went in just trying to woo Henry for shits and giggles but slowly gains more of a real interest/fascination with him over time. lanyon likes jekyll but is *definitely* offput by hyde. however, I think he eventually comes to like them both (in their own very separate ways). i think Robert finds it fun to try and see what tricks work on who and what traits carry over and which ones don’t. learning to love the entirety of his bf thru his two halves <3

• jekyll/hydes transformations i think are a mix of randomness and emotional shifts. they almost have a reverse arc as they do in canon? like they’re super unstable at the start but as they develop the potion and learn to work with one another better they start to have more control over it.

Small disclaimer: I am not a professional, so these are all my own speculation! Some moths are so similar they even need to be dissected in order to be properly determined/recognized! (Species under cut):

Anyways, I believe the larger green moth is a grass emerald (Pseudoterpna pruinata), also in the Geometridae family!

Fun Fact the grass emerald can inhabit an altitude of up to 1500 meters in the southern Alps (source).

The second smaller moth was much trickier to find a similar match. But I think this may be a riband wave (Idaea aversata)! Specifically, I think it is the form Idaea aversata f.remutata, which has no gray between the two ones on the forewings.

Fun Fact The form remuata of the riband wave is more common in the north of its range and is very similar to the plain wave (Idaea straminata) (Source). Your moth may even be a plain wave!

(இuஇ`｡) I actually told myself while making new year's resolutions that this year I want to try getting over my fears and share at least a little bit from my original BL works publicly, whether it's character design or basic settei... but honestly it is a big risk in many ways and if it goes badly I don't know if I can recover haha;; The main barrier for pretty much every person I know who wants to make original BL/comics is (1) no money to rent their own free time from the capitalist society for drawing, and (2) anti LGBTQ+ troubles in their environment.... And even if they are not in the closet like me there are many differences in taste/culture and taboo topics between east and west when it comes to BL works that can be confusing to navigate, so some of my friends have experienced unexpected controversy and attacks with international publishing, and in many ways even if it's something so simple like posting your own OC on twitter, it feels very scary...!! Anyway I am very grateful to everyone who has ever expressed interest or support in my original works, (without even seeing them haha) I've thought about using something like pixiv fanbox or patreon to help with piracy and income etc, but at the moment I don't think I can release something on a consistent schedule that is worthy of sponsorship, so I don't want to disappoint anyone o(; u;)o;;; I will still try to figure out how to fulfil my new year's resolution this year though!! Headcanons on Mr. Dark?

I love this silly bastard so much here are some of my headcanons for him

So first of all he would definitely rely on his shoulders/chest when it comes to his body movement. Sorta similar to how Dracula from Hotel Transylvania moves where he just tugs his cape a lot and mostly relies is expressions on body

He's very quiet/introverted and likes to read. He doesn't like loud/bright places and spends a lot of his time indoors.

In my universe Mr. Dark and Raymesis father-son relationship is soooo real. So here's some HCs about them!!

Raymesis was originally made by Mr. Dark in order to destroy Rayman. He was created to be a better Bad Rayman who could think on his own instead of just being a spell that follows orders. Although not long after, he grew attached to Raymesis and ended up having a father-son relationship with him since he has his own personality and traits unlike his previous Rayman clone

Although Raymesis still dislikes Mr. Dark. he thinks he gloats too much and finds him annoying. He also hates the "villainy" way he talks and just finds it weird. (There's more to be said about these two but I'm saving it for another time!!)

Mr. Dark would just go all "WHEN I DESTROY RAYMAN AND HIS FRIENDS... I WILL TAKE OVER THE WORLD!! AND THERE WILL BE NOTHING BUT DARKNESS!!" And Raymesis' usual response would be "Cool, can I have breakfast now?"

BUT YEAH THAT'S ABOUT IT!! Feel free to ask more of these because they're fun to do :D also it's nice being able to make up things for characters I don't know much about generally

i think maybe swapping mosley and bryson/phaall (the name is different between the online and published version) could work because mosley deals with below the earth and bryson deals with the sky

seeing as griffin is based on someone from a h. g. wells book I thought maybe make him into a time traveller? it would technically be a swap seeing as the time traveller from h. g. wells' book of the same name already appeared in sage's short 'paraphernalia'

i thought maybe also switch archer and bird with pennebrygg and flowers seeing as that's sort of nature vs machines

obviously take all of this with a pinch of salt lmao this is your au of course!

I think I have a large emerald for you!

Hello! Thank you for the pic, it looks beautiful! The color and markings come through very well.

However, due to the pointed hindwings and the marking on the abdomen, I believe that this is actually an Angel-Winged Emerald (Chloropteryx tepperaria)! This species is in the same family as the Large Emerald, and there are other many emerald moths in Geometridae that look similar to it too!

Fun Fact This moth actually gets the name “angel” from its pointed hindwings (source).
