Had the uncontrollable need to take a crack at my two favorite Rayman characters and hands wouldn't stop till it was done.

Thought process under the read more!

Betilla was easy as I wanted to merge Rayman 1 with Origins without making her too overly sexual. In my head her creating Rayman was a big no-no in the fairy community and it got her exiled from it for a while. She didn't actually mind it as it gave her a lot more free time for studying, practicing, and most importantly raising Rayman.

I love making Ly less human-like so that was the basis for this design I'm sorry. Really push the cat aspect and lower the fairy bits. The little backstory idea to justify the design is that much like Rayman she's an artificial creation here but unlike him, she had no one around to raise her so she was left with a lot of questions. Throw in not fitting in and it resulted in a wandering smalltime troublemaker who keeps everyone at a distance. Befriending Rayman and Globox really helps her out and she eventually studies magic underneath Betilla as her student.
