Kokomi

"Hey Koko." You enter her hideout with food in hand. Her partner peeks her head up giving a small smile towards them. Taking in her appearance you frown. Her hair was a mess with severe eye bags.

"Koko have you been sleeping properly?" Putting down the food, you go to check her temperature. She removes your hand, shaking off your concern. Pushing herself up, she tries to steady herself. Gripping the table she walks over to take the food. Her legs wobble violently as she crashes into the ground.

"Koko!" You rush over trying to help only for her to stop you again. She tries to raise herself only to fall again. Frustration filled her face as she soon gives up. You scoop her up guiding her back to her chair. Sitting down, she frowns staring at the ground.

"It's okay to not be okay you know?" You hear her sigh not responding to your comment.

"I know." She sighs looking over at you before digging into the food you brought. Slowly she begins eating the food you brought. You wait until she is done eating before speaking again.

"You work hard for Watatsumi, you deserve a break too, you know?" Kokomi smiles, taking your hand in hers.

"I appreciate you being there for me."

Ayato K.

"Come in.'' You enter the room that was covered in papers and deadlines. In the middle , Ayato sits doing his paperwork for the government. "Oh Name, what can I help you with?" He glances up at you for a moment.  "I was wondering if you had time to come out with me tonight?'' Ayato frowns as he checks over his schedule. "Darling.. I'm not sure I'll have time." Your face fell as you nod toward him. "I understand you are busy being the Yashiro Commissioner." You bow, making your way to the exit. "Thank you for your time Ayato-san." You saw his movements pause temporarily. You continue to the exit making your way out of the Kamisato Estate. You sigh making your way through Chinju Forest. You should have known he wouldn't come, he usually doesn't. Recalling, you remember all the times you try to spend time with Ayato only for him to shut you down. Each time makes you more and more upset. You misshis hugs and his soft words he would speak whenever you were alone. Trudging through, you fail to notice the Fatui Cicin Mage and the Abyss following you. Your thoughts continue overwhelming you, until an icicle hits your shoulder. Turning, you see the enemies who were following you each pointing their weapon toward you. Your eyes widen as you raise your hands in a ''I surrender pose." Just your luck, you wished you took the self defense lessons from Thoma. As you close your eyes to give in, you hear Thoma’s voice. Opening your eyes, you now see the Cicin and abyss mage dead on the ground. Thoma approaches looking over your wounds as he holds the grocery bag in his other hand. “Are you alright, L/N?”  “Yes, thanks Thoma.” You help him grab the groceries handing them over to him. You bow as you head off towards the path. Later that night, you decide to go out by yourself. Walking along the beach, you pass couples who were out late on dates. Some kissing, others doing intimate things behind corners you pass. Signing, you stop along the beaches by Araumi.  "At least it's peaceful I guess?" The beaches enter and recede. Crabs scatter as you pass by walking along the shoreline. Lost in your thoughts you run into someone. As you raise your head to apologize, you see your lover in front of you wearing a different outfit.  "I thought you said you were too busy for me?" He let's out a sigh at your comment. "I was until Thoma told me of an incident that happened with the Fatui. Are you alright?"  "I'm alright." Smiling you clutch his arm as you both continue your walk down the beach shore.

Xiao

"Adeptus Xiao." Green smoke appears revealing your stoic boyfriend. "I thought I said Call when you're life is threatened?" Giggling you pull him  to the bed sitting him down next to you. "Well my evening was in danger so that counts as my life right~" The frown on his face made your grin widden. "What is it anyways?" You pull his head down to your lap. Instantly he blushes squirming his way out of your grip. Sitting up, he glares your way. "What are you doing?" You smile trying to pull him back down. After a tough fight, he let you win and relaxed in your lap. "You need to take the mask off and breathe for a moment." You hum combing through his hair. The motion shut up his complaining as he rests comfortably in your presence.

"It's okay to take a break for a moment. When it hurts to breathe I hope you can relax and take it in."

i will start by saying that anything that i will write, i will be taking my time with to the best of my ability. i have a bad tendency to overwork myself to the point of burnout, and since writing is my biggest passion, i really don't want to overwork myself with this page. so, whatever requests or commissions will be sent my way, will be done on my time. i also have a life outside of tumblr that i need to maintain. hobbies i like to do, friends i like to spend time with, physical and mental health to maintain, etc. i ask that everyone who sends me requests or commissions is understanding of that.

when you found out keqing is secretly into rex lapis paraphernalia, you fought the urge to laugh. but that was then. now…you find yourself with a limited edition rex lapis plush. you couldn’t help it - it’s just so adorable you’d spend all your savings on it! fortunately though, you didn’t have to do that

though you then realize that you do not know how keqing would react to you having such a thing. would she be jealous? would she want it for herself? either way, you obviously need to find out her opinion on the plush for…reasons. you totally don’t just want to see her reaction towards you having limited edition geo archon merchandise

so you waltz to your shared home casually with the plush in your arms, you hugging it so tightly that you might squeeze out its stuffing. with a big smile on your face and a catchy hum on your lips, you enter your humble abode

keqing is, unsurprisingly, working in the living room (although you have a study room - you guess that she was simply waiting for you to come home) and she looks up once she hears your footsteps nearing her. she greets you happily but the moment she lays her eyes on the plush, her eyes widen

“i-is that what i think it is?”

you smirk as you nod vigorously in response. she folds her arms and shuts her eyes, assuming a pondering pose. you await her remark excitedly and for your chance to flex your little limited edition plush-

“i…already have that, (y/n).”

you feel your heart sink. then again, you should’ve expected this considering she is the biggest rex lapis fan you know but you suppose you clung onto that small sliver of hope a little too much. you try to reason that you bought it for yourself instead of it being a gift for her and she only snickers in agreement

she pats your back supportively as you sulk on the couch beside her and insists that hey, two is better than one after all; now you have your own and you two don’t have to share! though this does not help with relieving any of your shame but it’s the thought that counts

the next day, you see her hugging both of your plushies. she tells you not to say a word - not to her and not to anybody else. knowing her, you do exactly as she says.

zhongli

oh, now you’ve done it. this is the peak of embarrassment for you; here you are, living with the ex-geo archon himself, and yet…a rex lapis plush with the softest fur you could ever imagine is sitting in your hands. it stares at you cutely with his shut eyes, fast asleep in his own dreamland. how could you ever resist such an adorable little thing?

even then, you decide that you are not going to let him see you with the dragon-and-mini-him. you worry that he may be roaming the very streets you are walking through right now so you rush home, determined to keep this your “dirty'' little secret

the moment you step into your house, you relax and start making your way to your room to stash your little dragon away somewhere safe. where would work, you begin to wonder. would under the bed work? or should you hide him in your personal dresser? or even-

“(y/n)? is that…me?”

you freeze. you turn towards the direction of his voice hesitatingly, your cheeks slowly but surely growing red. there is no way to hide the plush in your arms. but at least there is a way to deny his statement…if you are to use the word “deny” loosely anyway

“y-yes? i mean, no! i mean, technically it’s rex lapis and you know, you’re not the geo archon anymore, you’re just zhongli now, hahahaha…”

you nervously laugh and scratch the back of your head sheepishly with your right hand, your left hand still clutching onto the plush firmly. following suit, zhongli offers a chuckle of his own. your cheeks are flaming red now

“what fine craftsmanship. it is no question that you procured such an item. and you are correct - i am zhongli.”

thankfully enough, he seems to not question it much. you don’t know why you were so worried; zhongli is quite literally one of the most open-minded people you’ve met. and that’s saying something for someone who has lived for centuries. so you breathe out a sigh of relief. until zhongli continues-

“although, if you simply wanted to hug rex lapis, you could’ve merely asked me. i would’ve been happy to oblige. i still am, if i were to be completely honest.”

you’ve had enough. you sink onto the ground out of embarrassment, your knees growing weak under his unintentional tease. he grows concerned and kneels down in front of you to check if you’re okay. and quite frankly, you are not

the plush now sits in your room (“your” as in either your individual room or shared room with him) and when he is ever in the mood to tease you, he will bring up the incident. he knows it always brings a blush to your cheeks.

You can feel the weight of the world resting on the top of your shoulders, and yet you muster up the strength to make your way to Dragonspine - with your usual posture too, instead of a more slouched-up one although all you want to do is lie down. Even now, you have no idea what you’re not curled up in a blanket and sobbing silently into your sheets. Perhaps you just need a shoulder instead of a blanket.

You don’t know who did it - it didn’t seem to matter at the time anyway - but the damage has been done and your head is in ruins; just like how your work in progress was ruined by some unknown harlot. You know not whether the perpetrator truly intended to vandalize your heart by leaving such a mark or if they were forced to - but, again, it matters not. Your heart is in pieces and here you are, seeking the doctor who could hopefully aid you in piecing them back together.

When you finally reach his little lab, a surprising sight greets you; the chief alchemist is currently pondering something, his right hand cupping his chin and his eyes shut tight. That itself is not surprising but rather, it is the absence of the Spark Knight. You see this as a sign and make your way deeper with a relieved sigh. With all your leftover strength, you walk over to where he is standing.

“Hey, Albedo,” you greet him. At first, he doesn’t notice you and barely hears your greeting, though you don’t blame him - you’re barely making the effort to really assert your presence. At that point, you are an eidolon, transparent and lacking. Plus, he seems to be very immersed in whatever he’s thinking of or imagining. You can’t help but wish that you are in his thoughts. Finally, after a few moments, he opens his eyes and his arm casually falls to his side when he sees you.

“Oh, (Y/N). What brings you here?” Even hearing him say your name slightly melted away your worries. But it was not enough to wipe the frown off your face. You sigh tiredly for what seems like the umpteenth time today. You find it hard to let out everything in your mind though you possess the words. While you answer him with your silence, he drags a nearby chair and offers it to you. You let your weight drop you down on the seat.

“Did something happen? You may tell me anything - I will listen to you,” he speaks - so many generous offers today, you think to yourself. But it’s not strange, no; rather, you just don’t think you deserve such kindness. You mean, you are apparently horrible enough to deserve having your work and heart being vandalized in such a manner. You shake your head in defeat. Why did you come here in the first place? Is this not futile? Is this not pathetic?

“...I don’t wanna be a burden to you, Albedo,” you merely say. Ironically so, because you came here to seek comfort and yet here you are pushing it away. Is it not strange, the way human beings work? Is the fear of being a burden to someone else really the reason why you don’t want his help? You vaguely recall someone saying that this is a type of mental resistance…

“But you are a burden to me. And so is everyone else who has the honor of existing.”

“Huh?” His answer catches you off guard. He always had such a calm disposition and acted like a caring older brother to others…to think that he thought so all this time. You feel your melancholy deepening though you are not surprised - Albedo has always been quite the blunt and honest person. You appreciate him for that fact at least.

“Even our names carry weight - how could one not be a burden? Is it not a gift to have your load be felt by others and to leave a mark of your existence? Is it not an insult to have no freight?” he elaborates and you feel your muscles relax; you didn’t even notice you were so tense, especially because you felt like you’ve been slumping all over the place. For the first time that day, the corner of your lips quirk up slightly. Tears threaten to escape from the corner of your eyes.

“Tell me, (Y/N). What happened?” he reiterates, his tone growing gentler with every syllable. You can no longer take it; tears stream down your cheeks. He fetches a handkerchief from a table nearby and, once he’s sure you’re comfortable, he wipes your tears away. He rubs your back as you choke on hiccups and shallow breaths. You try your best to speak.

“Someone…my sculpture…it’s ruined…” you confess in between sobs and instinctively lean into Albedo, your head on his shoulder. He continues to rub circles on your back with his left arm while his right arm pulls you closer to him; an embrace you needed oh-so-badly. 

“We’ll find whoever did such a thing to you,” he assures you. Though you want to tell him that there’s no need to put that much effort into such a small incident, you lack the energy. All that crying has left you more vulnerable and exhausted than usual. It took so much of your strength to let all that out, you find it funny that some find it a sign of weakness to cry - this was the strongest thing you did so far.

You let out a low “Mm” in response and shut your eyes, ending your small breakdown there. You can feel Albedo stroking your hair and you relish in his warmth. Deep somewhere within your heart, you don’t want him to know that you’ve been sculpting his figure - that is why you were hesitant to let him investigate your art studio. But his touch has proved that there is nothing to fear, nothing to be shy about. Especially when a portrait of you sits in a hidden corner of his little lab. You two have already memorized each other’s every little facial detail.

Just as art is a form of love, love is also a form of art.
