A/N: Hello! So the votes spoke very loud and clear that you all wanted a 10 Series Drabble! I have been thinking about writing a scenario like this one and I am pretty happy with it so I hope that you guys are too. I believe an anon did give me this idea (updated credit below 12/8) The Jin fic is taking me such a long time and I really wanted to post something as a treat for all of you before finals week - I hope this delivers on that! Drabble (1) 

It felt like you had been living in a dream state for the longest time now. 

Every thought, every memory was cloudy with a dreamy haze and tinted in shades of rose. The best way to explain it was that you were operating almost entirely on autopilot, especially when Jungkook wasn’t home.

But even in those moments when you were together, you never felt total clarity. Your relationship felt like a dream as well - the stuff of cheap romance novels and teen movies. The very thing that women, and some men alike, craved and dreamt of. No one’s life was meant to be this perfect and that should have been a clue. But the red flags that once waved proudly in front of your face were steeped in shades of gray - you had gone colorblind to his faults. 

And honestly, you could understand how that happened. Ever since the two of you had returned to the city and you had slowly introduced your family back into your life a sense of normalcy had unknowingly descended upon your fragile mind. Those unbearable months of isolation in the woods have become lost, buried in the trenches of your mind. And the way he acted now, how he held you, cherished you, loved you, it was easy to become blinded. 

You had succumbed to your worst fear and you didn’t even know it.

This got more and more intens by the second! I'm so sad for y/n! It could all have been different if they all would have approached her immediately except for sending her those letters. Like with seokjins story.. what if he just helped her from the ground?!?!!? 😢 and yes that moment with jk was 🥺🥺 Idk how to describe it, he was so sweet and gentle. Of course jm found out OF COURSE HE GOT HER TO SHOW HER TRUE FEELINGS djdhejdhsh he's not for nothing a police 😩 I'm really really really curious for how she's gonna react next!! Will she be apathetic? Bitchy? Angry? Sad? Suicidal? Maybe a feeling of "it doesn't matter anymore, I give in to those little weak moments I have for them"? Oooohhhhh I'm so excited to know how she will handle the situation!!

You pull a chunky sweater – Namjoon’s, you think – over your head, the thick wool settling heavily on your shoulders. It makes you want to crawl out of your own skin whenever you have to wear their clothes. You don’t have much of a choice, though, unless you want to freeze your ass off.

They thankfully had enough forethought to bring some of your clothes with them the night they broke into your apartment, but the majority of it isn’t warm enough to fend off the dropping temperatures in the cabin. You may be many things, but stupid is not one of them. You know it wasn’t an accident that your warmest clothes were left behind.

You pick at the sweater, frowning, as you nip at it with your nails. You know it’s childish to ruin their things but it’s truly the only way you can act out without foiling your plans. Screaming at them won’t help you one bit and you need some form of outlet for your anger. By the time they pick up on all the tiny holes in their clothes, you’ll hopefully be long gone.

Aha! No Jungkook was just saying that to piss off the MC. I mean I’m sure he did enjoy the sex part in the moment because what guy wouldn’t? But it wasn’t something memorable to him because he had no feelings for Eunji.

And Jungkook would definitely flip out if she told him that. He’s pretty hypocritical when it comes to those things, and well he’s hypocritical in general I’d say haha.

It probably would go down something like this,

“You really are too cute, baby.” Jungkook smiled with a shake of his head. There was something sour about it though, the way it tried to desperately to reach his eyes but failed.

“Do you even realize what poor boy….” He paused, raising an eyebrow at you. “ Or girl you would be condemning to a life of misery if you even thought about cheating on me?”

He took a step closer, tilting his head as his eyes narrowed. His lips settled back into a straight line, the smile fading as quickly as it had appeared.

“I’d really hate to show my jealous side so early on.” He didn’t try to hide the snark in his words now, all the honey in his previous tone was gone and replaced with that familiar threatening glint in his gaze. “So let’s not dwell on hypotheticals because you’ve pissed me off enough with even the thought of it.”

You stare at Jungkook’s back, his signature hoodie covered by a thick black coat. The cold air from outside clings to your body, refusing to thaw even in the warm reception area. You shiver, wrapping your arms around yourself as Jungkook texts his hyung to let him know you’re there. Today, the entrance is completely empty and the officer you spoke to last time is nowhere to be seen. You shift uneasily on your feet, a little unnerved by the complete silence. Is this even a good idea? You’ve been here twice before and no one has been able to help you. You want to believe Jungkook and the trust he has in his friend, but it doesn’t seem very likely that it’ll make much of a difference.

Feeling doubtful about the whole situation, you eye the front door, wondering if it’s too late to just go back home. Jungkook might think you’re a little rude for changing your mind when you’re already here, but maybe it’ll be worth it, if it can spare you the humiliation of having to share those letters with more people that can’t help you anyway.

Jungkook pockets his phone before you can make up your mind, light footsteps filling the empty reception as one of the adjacent doors open.

”Hyung!” He rushes over to excitedly greet whoever stepped into the room, the person hidden from your sight as Jungkook hugs them.

“Jungkookie,” The man’s airy, familiar, voice is full of mirth as he pats Jungkook’s back. ”You know hyung loves spending time with you, but why did we have to meet up while I’m on duty?”
