“pickles HAS to be cis bc he’s a misogynistic/homophobic/douchebag smth smth toxic masculinity smth” SHUTUP. SHUTUP
trans ppl can suck. trans ppl can be misogynistic douchebag dildoheads who have been totally brainwashed by toxic masculinity. i’m so sorry he’s not your smol liddel boi or smth WHATEVER. take ur weird infantilzation of queer characters somewhere else. fuck off ugly
i’m so sorry brendon didn’t write a squeaky clean queer character for you to play with. that’s an almost fifty something year old trans man who fucking reeks of piss and vomit and gets called mother and uses the word faggot. that man is going to hell when he dies - not bc he’s trans, but bc he’s a piece of shit. but by god, if you think a character is getting into heaven scot-free, then thats prob not a well written character.

It's astounding that these liberal bootlickers *still* can't do the basic ass things of just re-examine those official posts, consult with those who can speak the language and look up the translated threads of the unions' responses.
And before anyone tries to rebuke, no, the things said in both the August & September posts WEREN'T condemnation, just vague corporate reassurances without any statements direct intentions or actions against the perpetrators.
Are these people that cocked up in their echo-chambers to hear out of another person's culture or are they *that* sensitive of hearing of things they like that has done bad things?
ngl at some point it really does feel obscene to me seeing people write about how PM & Limbus are some top tier progressive anticapitalist haven full of lgbt+ characters while Korean women try to tell them the company’s antifeminist actions are actively harming female workers and perpetuating this misogynistic 🤏 witch hunt.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
like of course MTL is not perfect here but essentially she’s saying “if you’re a transphobe in PM’s fictional city it’s unacceptable but if you’re a feminist working for PM in reality you’re at risk of losing your job. I’m surprised people who are sensitive to representations of queer fictional characters are indifferent to the labor rights of Project Moon’s employees.” This is just one example, couple of days ago I had posted another, it comes up quite often. these users are trying to tell you that this is something that directly affects Korean women in reality and you just tell them, what? they’re wrong, they don’t get it, actually what PM did was normal in their country and they had no other choice?? it must be fine because the lead singer of mili is a woman and still works with PM and this is actually just like the hays code in the US? I honestly cannot believe someone had the gall to write that last one in their “PM masterpost”. the Korean users telling you this organized boycotts, frequent digital hashtag campaigns to get information out in multiple languages, completely removed fan accounts, created an organization to help victims of feminist ideological verification, monggeu came forward explaining her awful working conditions, Mimi legally took Wonderlab down because she did not want to be associated with project moon. honestly it’s been incredible watching them rise to the occasion and accomplish so much. and you think….what exactly when you see this? that actually all of these people directly affected by the misogynist, incel catering actions of project moon are just misguided fools who don’t understand what happened? that these women are worthy sacrifices for a gambling game because you think it has some epic capitalism takedown and there are male characters who have traditionally female names?
Why do they defend PM so vehemently in the face of critique? I think part of it is this increasingly common phenomenon where these fans need to think project moon must completely have the same progressive political leanings as them because they enjoy consuming the works and they consider themselves progressive, therefore the reverse must be true, that the media they enjoy must also be ideologically progressive because they enjoy it. it’s why they’re so shocked when someone completely different from them in political leanings enjoys PM’s games, we saw this as well when Arknights KR engaged in feminist ideological verification. these high earning gambling games can make all the vague political statements they want but it doesn’t mean jack shit if they’re engaging in antifeminism and harming employees in reality. in the past decade (and especially 2020 until now) “fandom” and “consuming content” have evolved into integral parts of these people’s personalities (especially those who are gen Z and younger) and have significant impacts on how they interact with others and how they see themselves. they wrack their brains coming up with excuses for project moon’s antifeminist actions and this genuinely gets fanfiction tier at some point.
like look at this example from that “PM masterpost” a user here on tumblr made. this is the same one we were discussing earlier that reposted rumors slandering the youth union.
Tumblr media
beyond the ridiculous untrue claims (this is nothing like the hays code, what PM did was not normal, Mihoyo isn’t the only company that told incels to fuck off, they also have offices in SK and had literally dealt with a bomb threat at one of their SK events, etc…u get it, I’m not going thru every word) you can see this wild conjecture regarding the actions taken by the 2 studios. To me this is an example that shows how much these people defending Project Moon warp their thinking in order to keep believing this company is “progressive”. The company Mihoyo that did not respond to incels’ increasingly ridiculous harassment, blocked their livestream chat then deleted all their misogynistic comments in the next livestream and was one of the only (if not the only) targeted companies that did not take Studio Ppuri’s work for them down - this is presented as essentially “whatever” and further downplayed by saying “I personally doubt [this] was a part of any deeply held opinion on women’s rights.” And Project Moon, the company that folded to incel demands immediately, fired a woman at their behest, sued unions and condemned them in their later statements while saying absolutely nothing about the incels that caused the incident, put memes in their gacha game from the very community these incels came from, makes sure to dutifully censor any🤏 in their gambling game, worked the Leviathan artist so hard she contemplated suicide frequently and had to get IVs? These things are presented as just inevitabilities of operating in South Korea and PM is lauded as “I can’t believe PM is fundamentally misogynistic.” The editorializing is absurd. imo there also comes a time where you compare your “poor little South Korean gacha game who just got caught in the crossfire and actually they are totally progressive and feminist 🥺” to the “Chinese company Mihoyo who does whatever to keep getting the most money and has no morals about it” that at some point starts to lean heavier on sinophobia. I’m not here to blow smoke up Mihoyo’s ass but I do think their action regarding the korean incels’ harassment was significant at a time when companies were falling over themselves to kiss incel ass. And, as has been discussed before on this blog, Project Moon’s capitulation to incels was also significant just in the opposite, misogynistic direction. idk it just gets so unbelievably frustrating to see English speaking users who believe themselves to be “progressive” or “leftist” making excuses because they want to keep playing videogames without feeling guilt meanwhile the Korean fanbase has consistently mobilized digitally and irl to spread info, protest, raise money, etc. like how are you not feeling any shame whatsoever after seeing how principled they are?

if i was in mtl and i got to be a klokateer my job would be the emotional support gear. i'm reminding pickles he doesn't belong in a garbage can when he's on a bad trip. i'm answering invasive, curious questions from murderface about being queer. i'm cradling skwisgaar to my bosom and not letting him fuck me so he feels momentary fulfillment that fades as soon as it's over. i'm clapping when toki gets a new model plane to build and show interest in his hobby by asking where he plans on hanging it in his room. i'm listening to nathan when he starts lamenting his poor luck in love without calling him gay for caring.

Tumblr media
a number of years ago today some people without my knowledge decided to ship an oc of mine with someone else’s oc and then i found out about it later. sometimes i draw it too. and here we are!
some time ago (weeks and weeks) i lost a bet to @randomoranges who asked for these two with the parameters of “gender fuckery” and I thought about it for a long long time to the point she probably thought I forgot about it. One thing that occurred to me is I feel that whenever gender fuckery happens it’s almost always leaning towards the feminine and away from the masculine so I tried to consider what masculine gender fuckery might look like to me.
I think this is an aspect that probably deserves further exploration because i think in this hypermasculine culture i grew up in there are increasingly limited acceptable ways to be masculine and yet so many of the macho stereotypes are like. so masculine it almost seems like performative/drag if not outright homoerotic. So, it made me think about how one can dress correctly masculine in every respect for a particular subculture/occupation and still perform it “wrong”.
anyway in contemplating that and how it relates to these two i was thinking about the Acceptable Masculine Canadian Stereotypes so we have your typical lumberjack man and your typical oil man slash cowboy and I don’t they are expressing themselves correctly. I think my measuring stick for these things is “would this freak out and disgust the hockey boys i went to school with in rural oil country alberta” and yes it would, and yes it would please me to do it more.

guidelines
---General Rules
✮ this blog contains some NSFW content; i'll always try my best to tag all warnings appropriately
✮ MDNI, non-negotiable. i won't interact with ageless or take requests from ageless blogs. don't follow me, don't send asks, stay outta grown folks business!! ✮ i don't take requests for minors (obviously), even SFW asks if they're romantic in nature
✮ black bi, i dont tolerate any type of racism, colorism, ableism, fatphobia, zionism, homo/queer/transphobia -- i want a space of inclusiveness and i will check you
✮ i currently am taking requests! but to keep it real theres no guarantees so dont be offended if i dont do yours
✮ i take spoilers VERY seriously and VERY personally for myself and others im so serious so please pay attention to where i am in a given work (anime only) and try not to give anything away pls (if ur not sure ask)
---General Writing
✮ what i write for at any given moment will depend on what my current fixation is
✮ ill always write for one piece (anime and live action). currently taking requests for FE3H and JJK as well - if you have a request for me to write for something outside of these feel free to suggest
✮ im a reader insert lover im so sorry so majority of my works will be in the second person. only rarely will i have an OC and thats likely for longer works
✮ all works will likely default to member x cis f!reader because thats the POV im most familiar with (i.e. i tend to write myself as a placeholder), but don't take that to mean i won't write any other reader inserts. i'm open to writing with a reader insert of any gender / any genitalia so please request it! and leave feedback and critique so i can improve on writing in those POV
---NSFW writing
✮ i dont do scat, (watersports is a maybe...if you're convincing enough), dont do abo, dont do raceplay, dont do ageplay, no extremely dark content/kinks/themes, dont do gore, not a fan of "daddy"
✮ a separate bullet because this one is important bc its popular: i won't do size kinks that center/elevate petite/skinny frames. ive seen so many works that write them in a way thats bigger/taller/larger body exclusive and bordering fatphobic/heightist.. i dont want people who are already marginalized to feel even further marginalized. if you wanna read that go find another work.
✮ i do write for a variety of kinks. the inclusion/exclusion criteria here isnt exhaustive if you're not sure, ask.
✮ i don't write characterxcharacter usually but im a slut for a good threesome with it peppered in. i won't write a poly relationship mostly because i know my strengths and weaknesses and i promise you wont want to read my attempt at that
---Requests!
✮ requests are welcome!
✮ headcanons, A-Z, MTLs, reactions, and scenarios are more likely to be fulfilled because they're less intensive to me, fun and quick!
✮ when sending an ask, please be specific! give mama (me) something to work with. feel free to try and make it interesting, give me ideas to bounce off of, send your thoughts/fantasies/etc
✮ i will take one shot requests but the longer, more complex it is the longer it'll take/lower chance it is i'll do it if it's not speaking to me
✮ i'm my own biggest critic so if i feel like i don't like what i write i won't post it
✮ i do work a full time big girl job so be patient and don't be offended if i don't get to your ask

Oh, jumping in the ask game, if that's alright! Hm, what's a piece of media that you love but find it difficult to recommend to others, for whatever reason? Thank you! :)
Tumblr media
WELL.
I didn't even have to think I immediately got slammed by Metalocalypse as soon as I read your ask LMAO
Listen, I've loved Metalocalypse for over a decade now (12 years or so?), it's a show I regularly go back to, it's a show that has one of the most prolific and long-lasting fandom despite a literal decade of nonexistent content. It's also a show I very much struggle to recommend to anyone bhGBh
The thing about MTL is that it is an early 2000s show from the american TV channel AdultSwim about a filthy rich and successful Death Metal band, and as expected it is full of edgy humor from that era. There are offensive jokes and storylines on a regular basis, especially in the earlier seasons. They range from somewhat palatable to so uncomfortable I straight up skip some episodes.
And yet it's also a show that, in spite of that, has a surprising amount of heart. What appeared like a basic serialized series about very idiotic privileged krillionaire metalheads ended up with an interesting overarching plot, a lot of character growth, found family, learning to care about things beyond yourself when you're a deeply selfish group of people... It evolved with the times and its audience, as it originally pertained to edgelord dudes but somehow found itself with a hugely queer, feminine and neurodivergent fanbase. They even made a convention episode with a big nod to shippers (where they featured actual fanarts from deviantart after reaching out and asking for permissions to the artists to put them in their episode, of course).
The journey is worth it, the characters grow on you surprisingly fast, and you end up caring very much about all of those assholes and cheer for them to get better. Interestingly, as the characters grow and mature it feels like you're witnessing the growth of the writers alongside them, or at least it feels that way to me. But also, my god, there are so many warnings to give about it before anyone can even watch it. There still are new people falling into that show to this day, but I do think it's probably getting more difficult as time passes because standards have very much risen regarding edgy and offensive humour and plots, as they should have.
Despite it all, I still love it.

things that really impressed me/got me about yesterday's game at B Centre
the attention to detail for yesterday's game: the extra Stuff TM - the little towels and the special little light bracelets
the fact that the game was sold out, obviously. i mean, i was there in 2016 when les Canadiennes got their first ever game at the B Centre and we weren't even 6000 people, yet it felt monumental. yesterday, however, was a whole other level.
the ambiance, obviously
the fact that the girlies merch was available en masse. the jerseys were on the little revolving jersey conveyor belt as if it was no big deal and this has always been the case [as it should be]
seeing troves of people with MTL jerseys [and even TO jerseys] but also seeing ppl with names of their jerseys!
dj montana [she's fucking amazing]
the fact that they got the guy who calls the girlies game to call at the bell centre. he used to call les Canadiennes games
habs players were there and ok maybe it was part of their contract to do One More Special Appearance at Some Function, but they seemed to have had a good time
the mayor was there and she was there Back in the Day as Well
it was honestly MTL's best game against TO of the season
the game was intense/it was a "good game"/both teams were In The Game
the crowdddddd!!!!
i was very surprised-ish that the fans cheered for the TO players when they called the starting lineup XD buuuut obvi we booed when they arrived bcs yknow, rivalry and such :p
obviously, seeing all the queer peeps just vibing at the game
obviously, seeing all the little girls and girls teams having a Ball
but also seeing little boys wearing MTL jerseys and having a ball. idk maybe finally that will be the generation that will be like "ye girls can do wtv the fuck they wanna do no biggie"
the attention/media attention/public attention this game got. like fucking finally. let's keep this train going please jesus it's been a long time coming. let's make this the Norm and not a Once in a While Thing
MPP was there back in 2016 when there were less than 6000 ppl and even then it felt like Such a Fucking Big Crowd; the fact she got to experience the Real Deal
in fact all the players experiencing the Real Deal

this city is soo beautiful but it feels devoid of queerness in a way that is recognizable to me. i wonder if it's just a different gender vocabulary here or if i'm going to the wrong places. i miss my mtl queers with hairy legs and moustaches and tattoos and piercings and bikes and messenger bags...

MTL
Be as obsessed with something funny/ nerdy/ pop culture as ARMY is with them
M2L to have an obsession
Yoongi: Basketball fanboy. He has admitted to writing fanfiction. The queer brain always seems to gravitate towards obsessive culture, at least everyone I know in that space does. And like I’m not saying yoongi is forsure queer... He has the vibes though that put him firmly in at least that sort of friend group and you do not get through those friend groups without unhealthy attachments to some form of Celeb.
Jungkook: I’m not sure if he still does because they haven’t appeared in his lives lately, at least not the snippets I’ve seen. But didn’t he used to have loads of action figures in display cases. Like so many models, but the rest of his apartment was pretty bare? Literally looks my apartment... He is also pretty nerdy about marvel and stuff so he is the most likely to obsession collect. Also this man is just as obsessed with us as we are with him right now...
Namjoon: So it isn’t what we tend to think of as an obsessive media because it’s normalized, but that’s awful big attachment he has got to art. I think meeting the right artists would blow his mind and have him fangirl stumbling. Honestly for the right artist he is going to be trying to get that NDA the same way we do when we shave out legs for concerts....
Seokjin: The amount of gaming he does leads me to think he has obsession potential but I couldn’t say whether he’d get army levels of attached. If he was a regular human I could see him being a convention goer and trying to score tickets to Nintendo direct etc.
Jimin: I think if he could find the right interest it could have him trying to be a fanartist type but it would be an obscure fandom niche that doesn’t really have a rabid base, more casual and friendly observation among a small group.
Taehyung: I think Tae has too wide an array of interest to get hyperfixated on any long enough to get invested on fandom culture. Although I think he is a casual observer of all his past interests.
Hoseok: Gets way too many bitches to be on our level of fandom. Has too much of an internat free existence to be plagued by such things. Might get into a plushy line like the line friends if he had a partner that collected them.

What did he say on the Logan Mailloux situation? (Like I'm sure my guess is pretty close to what happened but I'm curious.) An irrelevant asshole, whose primary contribution to society at this point was a trickle of fanfics wherein he's down bad for Travis Konecny (art imitates life?) who gives it to it good, and there won't even be as many fics, now.
Tumblr media
If anyone isn't aware or needs a refresher on the Logan Mallioux situation since it happened a bit ago. He basically shared both explicit pictures and videos of a girl without her knowledge and consent. During this time he renounced (took himself out the 2021 NHL draft) but the MTL Canadians still decided to take him, which had some people erked. Trudeau is a Habs fan and then stuck out a comment regarding the situation (shown in post).
As you can tell Mr. Patrick also left a comment under the post and this was brought to peoples attention and some speculate different things to what his comment actually meant.
Linked L.Mallioux wiki because it gives a better play by play on what happened + there are a bunch of articles you can look through just by searching his name (X)
Tumblr media
*I don’t even know what fujoshi actually means cause I’ve seen about 2-3 definitions for it… I assume you mean queer?*
PLEASE he saw the Ao3 links and all those tweets referring to him as a lesbian and just completely lost it, most likely 😭💀.
RIP TKNP GAYNATION.
