Slightly more optimistic/light hearted spin on "Chloe thinks Maribug fucked her over" but Chloe steals the Miracle box and decides her ultimate revenge will be becoming a more iconic hero than ladybug.

Of course she didn't know to steal the spellbook so she can't use unification and she only knows the names of (Being generous) Sass, Pollen, Kaalki, Trixx and depending on if its canon or rebuilt Kwami lore, the monkey or tigers names. & that assumes they were all present when she nabbed it.

On the Kwami's end the main reason they don't instantly peace out is Chloe's relatively mundane goals. IE be a better hero, and the fact at least some of them view this crisis as an opportunity.

Sass: As much respect as I have for Ladybug & Chat Noir's work, this war to reclaim Noroo has been treading water too long, maybe its time we added some new weapons to the war chest.

Trixx: I wonder how much effort it'd take to convince these kids to be genuinely heroic?

Monkey/Tiger: HAVOC!

Long story short, Chloe needs to make herself a team, or a gang, she's not sure which.

Sabrina's an obvious choice but who else does she know?

... There's Felix- Nope, no, too unreliable.

Who's the red headed chick that hates Marinette? Rosli something?

Anyway Lila gets the fox but has to re-dub herself Volpin-X, the darker, edgier version of Volpina!

If its monkey then Sabrina gets it cos she has a good throwing arm and the staff means she can avoid CQC. Otherwise she's a worker bee or getting dragged around by the ear by Kaalki.

Chloe likely prioritizes snake for the second chance theming and leadership style power. If Tiger is in play she also keeps that for raw destructive might, but if not, she keeps Kaalki for quick get-aways.

I figure even if Pollen is present Chloe wouldn't use her, because Queen Bee was hers, Chloe's, and redesigning that to obscure her ID feels... Wrong, and she may feel bad about ignoring Pollen regarding HK ad not want to make things weird.

But yeah, broad kind of chaotic spin, but thought you might find it amusing and more in line tonally with your preferences.

Chloe, sipping a smoothie, wearing an 'Marinette=<3' button, and holding out a button to Lila: No one can hate Marinette for long. All we can do is pretend for as long as we can.

It had been a few days since the. . .incident, and Lila was on her way back to school. She made sure to keep her posture straight, acting as if nothing had happened. But something had happened, something not even she wanted to talk about, especially with the events of Miracle Queen being a few weeks before. Lila didn't want to be known as the one who copied Chloe Bourgeois, especially not in regards to having almost the same akumatization.

Siding with Hawkmoth was an easy choice for Lila, being his ally, his partner, his equal, was something she had wanted since her first run as Volpina, but after becoming Royal Vixen. . .well she knew he didn't view her as his equal. She was just a puppet, much like Chloe had been to him. She scowled at the memory, not wanting to think about it. Stealing the fox miraculous and using it to enhance her akumatized form was one thing, being used by Hawkmoth while holding the miraculous and being akumatized was a whole other thing.

She strode into the school, pretending as if she was alright, as if she wasn't seething with anger. Acting as if she wouldn't loose her cool today. Lila kept repeating to herself that everything would be fine. No one would say a word to her, not even Marinette, who had been the one to confront her about her lies in the first place.

Taking her seat in the back of class, she grabbed her phone from her pocket and began to twiddle her thumbs, looking through various apps, that is until she saw someone slide into the seat next to her. Glancing over Lila scowled. "What do you want? Don't you have someone to harass or something?"

Chloe didn't say a word, at least not for a while. When she did speak however, it wasn't what Lila expected. "I thought you might need . . .someone to talk to." The girl said harshly, but it was clear she meant every word.

"And why would I want to talk to you?" Lila snapped, her patience wearing thin.

Chloe didn't break eye contact, crossing her arms over her chest. "I know what you've been through. Being used by Hawkmoth, wanting something so bad that you turn to do utterly ridiculous things to get it." She paused, eyes softening slightly. "We're the same, Rossi."

Lila blinked, growling a bit. How dare she say they're the same?! Lila was nothing like that dumb blonde. She had tactic and style when it came to her deception, where Chloe had none. Chloe was outright cruel, no hiding it, no pretending. Lila was cunning and sly, hiding behind a falsetto. They were nothing alike.

"We are not the same." Lila deadpanned, moving to stand but Chloe grabbed her arm.

"We are, you just need to believe me. Don't isolate yourself. It's hard enough going through an akumatization, but it's even harder if you dont have anyone to back you up. And Lila, I know you don't have anyone." Chloe sneered at the end of her sentence, forcing Lila to sit back down.

Lila flinched. Of course Chloe knew. If course she did. If anyone was to know about her mothers absence in her life it would be Chloe. She let her mind race for a few moments, thoughts flying by faster than she thought they could. After a few minutes of silence between the two girls, Lila finally spoke up. "Maybe we are similar. . ." She said, eyes flashing to Chloe. "Fine. Meet me at that little cafe down the street after school. Then we can talk."

Chloe smirked triumphantly, and stood up. "I'll be there." And with that, the blonde strode away, leaving Lila wondering if she had ever noticed how beautiful Chloe was before or if it was just her imagination.

Okay, so ehre we go! Did someone ask for Dark Cupid but with Queen Bee and Vixen? Too bad, cause this is pretty much what I did/ Bonus points if any of you get where I got Queen Bee’s attack from.

Alya had one day from hell because of one and only Chloé Bourgeois. She had never been more grateful for an akuma, it gave her the chance to blow some steam. True, she was using her flute more like Chat was using his staff, rather than make some illusions, but she was in the mood to hit something. And the new akuma gave her the perfect opportunity. She didn’t pay much attention to the name but it was turning people in fairytale characters. Why was Hawkmoth akumatizing little kids again? Right, because he was an asshole.

“What got you so riled up, foxy?”

“Nothing you should worry about, your highness.” Alya replied playfully while kicking another knight over the head.

“That angry scowl on your gorgeous face always gets me worried.” she declared wrapping the string of her spinning top around two knight before slamming them against a tree.

“Well, I’d hate if my small problems would ruin that bright smile off your face.”

Queen Bee kept smiling, ready to flirt back, when Ladybug shouted for her. “B! I could really use your help right now.”

The blonde turned towards the akuma that was momentarily being kept in place by Ladybug’s yoyo. Alya moved to cover her as she called for her signature move.

“Poison Sting!” she called out moving her spinning top towards the akuma

Alya didn’t quite catch what happened next. The akuma managed to escape Ladybug’s grip, dodging the spinning top and at the same time sending an attack towards Queen Bee. The next thing Alya saw was her teammate lying unconscious on the ground. And one of the gems in her comb began to flicker. Alya’s heart sunk.

“Get her out!” Chat screamed at her while dodging another attack. “Secret identity. We got this. Go!”

Without hesitation, Alya picked Queen Bee up and began to run. She did her best to avoid the crowd as she sprung on a lamp post then on a lower roof, then a higher one. By the time they reached what she considered a secluded enough corner two of the gems on her comb already flickered off.

“B,” Alya called out gently shaking her shoulder. “Come on Queenie, don’t do this.”

She was desperate. Queen Bee was close to detransform and knocked out by whatever the akuma did to them. Okay, think Alya, think. The akuma knocked only her out, right? She turned some people into knights and she even saw some frogs. The akuma was fairytale based and… of course! Alya snapped her fingers, finally finding the solution.

Looking down at Queen Bee, slipping peacefully with her head in Alya’s lap. She was never the biggest fan of those tropes from the fairy tales she used to read to her sisters, but they were in a desperate need right now. So desperate to even use a true love’s kiss.

(She tried to ignore the weird sensation in her stomach at the thought of it not working.)

Stroking her cheek gently, Alya leaned over, capturing Queen Bee’s lips in a kiss. Ironically, her lips really tasted like honey. She can’t wait to tease her for this later. And maybe kiss her again.

After what Alya thought was enough to break the spell, she broke the kiss, looking down at her partner. Queen Bee frowned and began opening her eyes.

“Huh? What happened?” her eyes squinted around, confused. Then she noticed who was looking down at her, her lips curling in a smile. “Well, hello there beautiful. ” she stood up, allowing them to be on the same eye level. “Care to tell me what happened after the akuma hit me?”

Alya felt relief flood her. It worked! Queenie was safe and sound. And she was apparently her true love, but they’ll discuss that later. Alya was beaming. But before she could answer a golden light appeared, making her shield her eyes. Oh, no. So had forgotten entirely about the detransformation. And while Alya knew she should have looked away and protect the identity of her partner, but she was frozen in place. And as the light vanished in Queen Bee’s place stood one and only Chloé Bourgeois. Alya gasped.

“This… was unexpected.” the blonde remarked as her kwami hid with a snicker. Looking at Alya she gave her a smile, almost shy smile that wasn’t characteristic for either her personas. “Hey, foxy, I know I’m sexy, but close your mouth, you’ll catch flies.”

Alya did that. She wasn’t sure what to feel in that moment. It was too much. A wave of all kinds of feelings hit her and almost knocked her off her feet. She couldn’t do this. Not now. She got on her shakily before beginning to back off.

“Vixen?” Chloé called her superhero name in what felt like forever. “Look, I know we aren’t supposed to know, but the bright part.”

“Just… don’t.” Alya managed to say turning her back. She couldn’t do this. For once in her life, Alya felt like running away.

Chloé stood on the rooftop looking at the orange figure disappearing over the rooftops. And for the first time in years, her heart was shattering again.

    Your eyes go to the side, studying the pretty kitty who had just arrived, “Well, hello there, Alley Cat.”

    “Aw, does someone need a milk bone?”

    You roll your eyes and hop to your feet, “Where’s Ladybug? I much prefer dealing with her. She’s much more pleasant.”

    He clutches his chest, “A bullseye, right to the heart!”

    You let out a sigh, “Have you told her yet?”

    You watch the playful smirk fall off of Chat’s face. His eyes turning serious, “Nope. Probably won’t.”

    You lean against the chimney, “Any particular reason why you won’t?”

    He shrugs, “She’s with Volpina now. She’s happy. That’s enough for me.”

    You smile, “You’re a good guy, Chat. It’ll happen for you one day.”

    He gives you a small smile before turning to look out on the Paris skyline, “Hard to believe that it’s been six years since I first started.”

    “It’s only been five for me.”

    He grins at you, “Maybe. But it seems like just yesterday that you swooped down and saved me from that dog Akuma.”

    You shrug, “I find it ironic. Having the wolf miraculous and everything.”

    He nods, “Still, it’s nice that the team expanded. It’s made things a lot easier. Speaking of which, we should probably get going. Ladybug and Volpina are taking the west part of the city, Bee is taking the north, and you and I are taking the west. We’ll all meet up to patrol the south.”

    You simply smile, and watch him start to run. In the span of five years, Chat Noir had become one of your best friends. And it frustrated you that you didn’t know him outside of the mask. The fact that you were hopelessly in love with him didn’t help either. But as Master Fu had always said, everything has a time and place. Yours and Chat’s simply hadn’t come yet. But in your heart, you knew it would come someday. And with that in mind, you set out after him.

⚝Chloé Bourgeois: Chloe in "My Poisonous Villain" is a spoiled girl, maintaining the same personality as in the series. After the arrival of the Supreme, with her parents becoming famous and her father becoming the mayor, she gains so much freedom that she can do whatever she wants. She is the childhood best friend of Adrien Agreste, although he cannot stand her. Because of this, she thinks he is playing hard to get. She doesn’t care at all about Sabrina, not even calling her a "friend" but rather a "servant." Since her parents are famous and have a lot of political power, even having contact with the Supreme, she thinks very highly of herself. There are conspiracies suggesting that the Supreme is using the mayor, and it was because of the Supreme that Chloe's father became the mayor.

⚝Queen Bee:I kept the same name as her heroic form, since it doesn’t make much sense to change it, especially because Chloe here already sees herself as a queen. Using the Bee Miraculous, she already calls herself Queen Bee. As your right-hand and having received her Miraculous after you, she comes up with great evil plans, finding more and more ways to hurt the Butterfly Miraculous holder. She will rarely expose herself or say that she is Queen Bee or that she has a Miraculous, since the Supreme is forbidding it.

The fact that Chloe has never seen the Supreme but believes that you have, as you are known as the Supreme's "right hand," makes her respect you deeply. She proudly says that she is thankful to be your right hand, even though she wanted to be "the right hand" of the Supreme. She realizes that it is better for you to be in that position, as it means she doesn't have to handle the paperwork and can keep the action for herself.

She views Shadybug and Claw Noir as quarrelsome kids and says that if they didn’t fight, they could catch the Butterfly Miraculous holder. But she is grateful for the fights, as it is her "entertainment." She hates and has no respect for Shadybug and Claw Noir, only tolerating them because you do.

6 Miraculous Character's if they had a Pokemon Team

Technically they would all be in Kalos, but I ignored that when choosing Pokemon.

Warning: Some of the reasonings are very weak 😅

PokeStylist Marinette: Ledian, Leavanny, Alcremei, Furfrou, Togedemaru, Sylveon

Ledian is a reference to Tikki, and Ladybug.

Leavanny makes clothes for other Pokemon out of leaves and it's own made silk.

Alcremei is a reference to her work at her parent's bakery.

Furfrou's fur is able to be styled and cut wich is something I can see Marinette enjoying.

Togedemaru is a reference to her time as Multimouse.

Syleveon is for Marinette's too big heart for her friends, and family.

Trainer/Coordinator Adrien: Galade, Alolan!Meowth, Furfrou, Fem!Indeedee, Absol, Eevee

Galade is a nod to Chat Noir calling himself a knight.

Alolan!Meowth is a reference to Plagg.

Furfrou is a not to Adrien's job as a model.

Absol is a reference to Chat's bad luck.

Fem!Indeedee is just a reference to Natalie.

Eevee is to symbolize Adrien not really knowing his goal yet due to his father's choices for him.

Performer Chloe: Vespiquin, Kirlia, Nidoqueen, Serperior, Meowth, Emolga

Vespiquin is because Chloe was Queen Bee.

Kirlia is in reference of early Chloe wanting to be with Adrien.

Nidoqueen is again a nod to Queen Bee.

Serperior is for Chloe's 'superior' personality.

Meowth is a reference to her being rich.

Emolga mostly because Chloe reminds me of Iris' Emolga in the anime.

Blogger/Coordinator Alya: Braixan, Golett, Pikachu, Charmeleon, Butterfree, Elgyem

Braixian is for Rena Rouge.

Golett is for the Golett in the anime that holds a camera for its trainer.

Pikachu is a popular Pokemon, which I think Alya would have to increase views on her blog.

Charmeleon is again because Charizard is popular, but also Charmeleon have rather brash attitudes that I can see Alya having at times.

Butterfree is just so Alya can get air shots.

Elgyem is a reference to her conspiracy theorist side.

Trainer Nino: Exploud, Buneary, Popplio, Chatot, Piloswine, Tortera

Exploud is for is music/DJ work.

Buneary is quite simply to have a couple Pokemon with Alya. Pikachu x Buneary.

Popplio is a reference to the Bubbler

Chatot is another nod to his music.

Piloswine is a nod to Nino's chill personality.

Tortera is a reference to his time as Carapace.

Coordinator/Performer Lila: Fennekin, Zoroark, Glameow, Kecleon, Gangar, Ocean!Vivillion

Fennekin is in honor of her time as Volpina.

Zoroark is also a not to Volpina, but the darker side of it.

Glameow is a reference of her 'Saved Jagged Stone's Kitten' lie.

Kecleon is in honor of her time as Chameleon.

Gengar is simply in honor of the darker side of her lies, and what they could cause.

Ocean!Vivillion is just so we could have a Pokemon Lie. Lila lies as says her Ocean!Vivillion is a shiny Sivanna!Vivillion.

So this is is a little angsty fic I am writing for Miraculous Angst week, where the whole “miraculous gang” are at least Seniors in high school or older, and Hawkmoth has been defeated. 

I have a lot of others I have written, and this is the first I am confident in posting. I know there are some grammatical errors(and at the time I was writing this, I was a little semi-colon crazy), but I hope you enjoy! :)

With Hawkmoth gone, Marinette was back to being Marinette. There was no need for Ladybug  and Chat Noir anymore, she didn’t think Chat would come around even if there was. After the final battle and the discovery of Gabriel Agreste being Hawkmoth; Chat decided to lay off the superhero business. He didn’t want anything to to do with Ladybug, nor did he see Marinette anymore.

She still had Alya however. Her best friend quit the Miraculous blog and focused more on her boyfriend; Nino. Of course they still hung out, but most of the time Alya was...preoccupied. Nino himself tried to fill his spare time with Alya, but Marinette could tell he missed his best friend, Adrien Agreste.

Marinette understood why Adrien went into hiding. Figuring out your dad was a super villain is no small thing. Every once and awhile they would get a group text or Adrien would swing by to say hello and pick up Nathalie’s croissants, he even still modeled, but nothing could get him out of the house otherwise. Adrien Agreste had become a ghost.

“Tikki,” Marinette murmured and the kwami perched on the bluenette limp nuckles. “Do...do you think it’s time for me to give up my Miraculous? Give them back to Master Fu?”

“Hmmm…” the kwami looked concerned. “Not yet. You never know when Paris might need you! And maybe-”

“Wouldn’t it have happened by now?” Marinette groaned loudly, “all this anticipation is killing me and Chat doesn’t even come around and Alya’s busy and-and-”

“Marinette, you need to calm down! It’ll be okay, and if Paris didn’t need you anymore; Master Fu would’ve approached you already,” Tikki assured the girl with a pat on the head.

Marinette sighed and pursed her lips, playing with the earrings she safe held for nearly four years, “Tikki, SPOTS ON!”

Her suit molded and wrapped around her, the familiar fabric was comforting. Ladybug yo-yoed across the expanse of Paris, breathing hard through her nose as her feet slapped, lifted and launched across the rooftops. Tears stung her vision as she passed by Alya’s apartment; in the living room window, Nino sat at the family dining table, laughing at something Ayla's mom said. A few buildings later she watched Chloe Bourgeois as she sat on her bed, chatting to her Kwami and gesturing to a pale pink dress she was wearing to the next formal. She laughed as her kwami twirled around. Marinette grunted and tore through the air.

She stopped on the rooftop across from Adrien’s bedroom window. The expanse of his room was dark besides the natural sunlight. He was curled up on his couch watching the television. No emotion shown on his face. Marinette felt ashamed, but seeing Adrien in his misery made her feel better that she wasn’t the only one immersed in sorrow. With one last look, she vaulted towards the next rooftop and out of sight.

Unknown to her knowledge, Adrien caught sight of Ladybug as she lept through the Parisian dusk. His dark green eyes followed as she leapt and launched off the buildings, eventually disappearing towards the edge of his window. To be honest he felt bad; leaving Ladybug so sudden, but he knew she had Volpina, Queen Bee and Tortue to depend on now.

“Adrien?” Nathalie called through his door, “would you like to run to the Dupain-Chengs bakery with me? I am getting Macarons!”

Adrien sighed, “when?”

“Now,” she responded and slightly cracked Adrien’s door open. “Sabine is holding it open for me...and I thought you’d like to see your friend...Marinette?”

Plagg zoomed out of nowhere, holding a crumb of Camembert with wide eyes, “you’ve been lonely Adrien I think you should go.”

The blonde boy groaned a little before slipping his crocs on and yanking on his red hoodie, zipping it all the way up to his chin, “I am coming Nathalie, just give me a second.”

Plagg flew into his pocket but Adrien pulled him out, “when I leave the house now I am going to leave you here. I don’t want anyone, especially not Marinette, to get any suspicions of my ring. Just this morning it was released to the public what our Miraculous are theorized to look like and it was pretty accurate.”

Before Plagg could respond, he slipped the silver ring on his finger and shut it back in the box in his desk drawer. Gorilla waited in the limo, and watched carefully as Nathalie and Adrien climbed in their usual seats. The car ride started off in silence-as it usually did-until Nathalie got to talking about his Father’s business. Adrien absentmindedly rubbed his ring finger and looked out the window as the dusk deepened. He really didn’t want summer to end, it meant having to face everyone’s judgements about him and his Father.

The limo stopped on the side street of the bakery and Adrien got out and shoved his hands deep into his hoodie’s pockets. Sabine waited at the glass door and the moment Nathalie and himself entered, she switched the open sign to closed. The bakery was warm and smelled of bread and sugar. Adrien always had liked going there; it reminded him of what a real family feels like.

“If you go upstairs to the apartment Adrien, Marinette should be in her room,” Sabine smiled kindly and continued having a nice chat with Nathalie.

He nodded and wearily headed up the stairs. The closer he got to the apartment, the more littered the hallways became of family pictures. He smiled at a group school photo, surrounded by many more pictures of Marinette and her friends. The group picture consisted of his whole Sophomore school class from his first year of public school. He sat by Marinette and she had the goofiest smile with his arm wrapped around the bench behind her and an equally radiant grin on his face. A couple pictures around that were some of her and Alya and the occasional group picture of the four of them, but one caught his eye. It was a single picture of Adrien and Marinette. He had his arm wrapped around her and hers around him. Both were smiling; Adrien at the camera and Marinette at-him. His cheeks warmed as he stared longer at her face, the little tilt to her nose and how her grin was a little crooked.

Everything felt wrong; like something was off. His heart beat a little faster and the closer her got to the loft stairs, the harder his stomach twisted. Adrien managed up the steps and knocked on the trapdoor and only received silence. He knocked a few more times but got the same answer; nothing. Slowly; he pushed it open and climbed inside.

Marinette’s room was empty, there was absolutely no sign of her anywhere. Worried; he quickly climbed up the other set of stairs, leading to the terrace, but found no sign of Marinette anywhere. His hand went to his finger where his ring once sat and cursed out loud. This was a moment he needed Plagg to transform, to find his friend and make sure she was alright; but of course he’d been selfish and left it at home. Quick and agile; Adrien flew down the stairs, and silently slipped out of the Bakery unnoticed. He got out his phone and shot a text to Nathalie that he and Marinette decided to go to the park and that he would be home around 7:30-he didn’t check to see if she had responded.

He ran across the street, pushing up his hood as a slight drizzle began to emerge from the cloudy summer sky. Great, he thought bitterly, Marinette’s nowhere to be found, it’s getting dark and it’s raining. Luckily Marinette was heading home; her jacket held over her head, acting as an umbrella. Tikki was tired; snacking on two cookies in Marinette’s purse.

“What’s Adrien doing by himself?” She murmured and began to approach the brightly hooded boy.

The drizzle slowed to a stop and Adrien unfurled his blonde hair from under his hood. From the corner of his eye, he caught Marinette’s figure walking towards him and sighed a breath of relief, jogging her way.

“Why aren’t you at home?” Adrien asked bluntly.

“W-why aren’t you?” She scrambled the response and flushed a little bit.

“Nathalie wanted to pick some stuff up from your bakery and I thought I’d say hi...you weren’t in your room..”

“Oh,” she said softly, “so you came-”

“Looking for you? Yea…” his cheeks tinged and he looked away; changing the subject quickly. “How does a girl sneak out her window from up that high?” Adrien pointed to the slightly open window in Marinette’s room.

Marinette blubbered about how it was hot earlier and she’d forget to close it and said some unidentifiable words before explaining; “I went out earlier during the bakery’s rush hour! Maman must not have seen me leave..er something.”

He looked like he believed it enough and he did. Marinette felt relieved as he changed the subject again, “so, I told Nathalie we would be at the park until 7:30…” He smiled sweetly at her, “it’s only 6:30 right now...do you want to hang out?”

She gave a tight and embarrassed smile, nodded and then followed him to a rain soaked bench. She’d forgotten her earlier escapade through the streets of France with her makeshift “umbrella” and set her jacket down to sit, only to find it was soaking wet itself. Marinette shot up from the bench, and startled Adrien as she frantically swiped at her backside. Adrien realized what happened and burst out laughing, harder once Marinette began blushing embarrassed.

“Here,” he chuckled and unzipped his sweatshirt, handing it to Marinette.

With a face as red as the hoodie, she took it and zipped it all the way to her chin. Luckily it was long enough to cover her bum as she walked around the park with Adrien. For the first time in a while; both of them laughed, talked and reminisced. Marinette was pretty calm until Adrien’s phone vibrated in his hoodie's pocket; turning one of the girls laughs into a surprised shriek. Adrien chuckled and took the phone out of the pocket; he had a text from Nathalie.

They stood under a streetlamp, Marinette watching Adrien texting and Adrien over aware of her eyes on his face. Adrien sent the text and Marinette looked away, realizing how dark it had become.

“Nathalie is a little worried, I will have to head back..”he stepped forwards and gave Marinette a tight hug. “I had fun.”

“Me too,” she squeezed back.

He let go and began walking backwards; etching every curve and shadow of her face into his memory.

“I’ll see you later Marinette,” Adrien called out and shoved his hands in his pockets before he turned and walked away.

“See ya,” Marinette whispered and waved; even though she knew he wasn’t looking.

Queen Bee heard the angry words slip from Volpina, an acid-like accusation of abandonment made toward their teammate who was unable to defend herself. Defensively, Queen Bee snapped her trumpo into her hand, flicking the gold bulb toward her teammate to strike her in the arm. From her balancing beam, Queen Bee saw Volpina’s eyes go dark, seconds ahead of the strike of Volpina’s flute against a yellow and black side. Temper flaring, Queen Bee struck out again, this time wrapping the string of her trumpo around Volpina’s ankle to drag her off of the beam, slamming her down onto the hard wooden floor. A low hiss emitted from the orange heroine as she yanked the string free, standing with a narrowed and calculated look on her face. The two began pacing each other in a circle, weapons drawn and faces conveying their individual desires to maim.
