Okay, as a French Canadian American, explain this to me: why is it that when English language movies take place in France, the actors all have a posh London accent? Why not a cute Parisian accent?

Anyways, I’ve always been tempted to sit in a street side cafe in Paris and read Le Petit Prince in my best Quebeçois accent to piss off the locals.

I think my punishment for the English is to sit in a pub and loudly read Shakespeare in my best Texan accent.

They wouldn’t waste their beer by throwing steins of ale at me 😜

It turns the tables by focusing on onlookers and the public's fascination with criminal behaviour by keeping the horrific murders in the background and foregrounding on our reactions to them. There are so many unsettling and unnerving elements that captivate the audience by leaving the grisly details to our imaginations.
