thinking thoughts about how Helen tells Dru in QOAAD she looks a lot like Eleanor, and how that's such an important moment for Dru because it's one of the few times someone says something positive about her appearance. but for Helen is confirms her belief that girls take after their mothers... idk how to articulate it fully but that's such a double edged sword in a way. like Helen would have looked for Eleanor either way but it's so obvious with Dru, and that's such a blessing because Eleanor was so so good. and it also supports her own internal belief, and her mother was not Eleanor :(
