Maybe like Livvy said there’s another world out there we don’t know of, where they can both grow up together, where they stay side by side like they were meant to

I just can‘t stop thinking about the fact that Kit probably partly said yes to living with Tessa and Jem because not one Blackthorn came to check on him when he spent his days in the Silent City after the battle in QOAAD. He probably thought that they all hated him after what happened with Ty. This also gets really clear in SOBH when Julian and Emma visited the Carstairs family:

I’m rereading Queen of Air and Darkness and this quote hit me so hard because Kit’s Flower Card instantly came to my mind. It says, “Am I forgotten?” Except, how could he possibly be forgotten with everyone searching for him as the Lost Heir? If anything, the problem is that he’s not forgotten. So, the quote must be about Ty (which I know was probably obvious from the start). With Ty’s “I have loved you and you haven’t known it” it would make sense that they’re both talking about the other. Think about it though, Kit may really believe that Ty Blackthorn - the one person who forgets no one - forgot him.
