It was so soothing I never once felt frustrated or stupid and I never felt like the puzzles were too easy too, they were so engaging and charming and the graphics are low but so fucking beautiful it’s like less is more but there is SO MUCH so many little details and duck collectibles and achievements for silly things. I 100%-ed this game in two days please tell me someone has games like it 🤲

lorelei and the laser eyes is a wonderful and beautiful game with an enthralling narrative and incredibly satisfying puzzles. it has made me think deeply on the nature of art and its fair to say im a little haunted by it. there is also a piss meter

It's been raining a lot here lately, the clouds turn to this really nice sea-green color, so I wanted to make something inspired off of that! The music used here is "Learning Spy". I was listening to it while coloring n thought it suited the rain-vibes nicely.

Ok I wanna talk abt crow country cuz I just finished it tonight and I really loved it, major spoilers under the read more 👇

So as soon as we saw the first "guests" and how humanoid they were, I knew they used to be human, and I kinda figured that they were originally park guests who got blobbed up due to the crazy shit happening right underneath the park. And like... I did feel kinda bad at first shooting up monsters who used to be human but it's like eh, typical horror trope (I mean that's basically what zombies are) so I got used to it. BUT THEN you find out that they're humans from the future who are desperately trying to communicate a message to you despite the fact that their bodies and minds are completely falling apart and I dunno abt anybody else but that made me feel WAYYY worse about blasting their heads off. LIKE...they are using the last semblance of their human thoughts to desperately write out the year they came from in blood all over the place and it's so tragically falling on completely deaf ears!! BIG OOF. MY GUY EDWARD CROW FUCKED UP BIG TIME.

My friend made a game!!!!!

IT’S OUT!!!!!! MY FRIEND MADE A GAME AND IT’S OUT RIGHT NOWW!!!!!! Mutuals and lovely followers thank you for putting up with me but I fully wholeheartedly am so impressed and in awe with what my friend has managed to accomplish that I simply cannot be silent about it!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a puzzle game themed around ghosts! It’s not scary, it’s in fact very beautiful and sincerely charming! It’s been wonderful to see this game built piece by piece art by art line by line and I’m so PROUD of my friend!!!!!!

It is super cheap, if you need something to get into a halloween mood without getting scared out of your pants, this is an amazingly wonderful game!!!!!!

I just finished playing Chants of Sennaar yesterday and now I am out here singing its praises. At its core, Chants of Sennaar (CoS) is a language-deciphering game wrapped in a puzzle game with a sprinkle of stealth. If you were already sitting up on that stripped-down description then wait until I make my case.

So the game is based on the myth of the Tower of Babel, you know, the biblical one where people were punished for working together by making them unable to communicate with each other and so this story takes place in a tower and in there, the people have stopped being able to communicate with each other. Your role is to decipher the languages and restore communication between the people.

And the game does this beautifully. You decipher the language through contextual clues from the environment like signs, murals, or through discussions/interactions with the people. Each language has their own grammatical rules and you get what seems to be a subset of each language, words that are relevant to the overall puzzle of a story that you are solving and ones that say something about the people who speak it.

The word puzzling/verification system works well with the game - allowing you freedom to type words freeform in the guessing stage then giving pictorial depictions when making associations. This meant that it helped me understand what ideas to look out for in conversations/the environment.

On top of all that, the visuals are bold and striking and the music is top notch. There's a demo of the game that you can play and the progress carries on to the full version if you then buy the game!

I played it over three streams so not a very long game but it was a great time indeed.

im having a big hyperfixation on this game right now guys i need you to play it, its like 5 mins max if you get through the puzzles quickly(longer if you want all the lore or are bad at puzzles but determined to not watch a walkthrough), its free, no download, indie, reminds me of flash games and if you like horror games, or puzzle games, escape rooms, this is definitely recommended
