you knew rockstars had a penchant for wrecking rooms, but touya and keigo were a little too excited to include you in the fun. nsfw. mxfxm threesome, double penetration.

you knew from the first time you met touya todoroki and keigo takami that they’d be superstars. it was inevitable, set in stone like the sun rising each morning and setting each night. the aura that surrounded them pulled in opportunity and quick fame in the blink of an eye.

luckily, that aura also pulled in people. normally groupies and businessmen and people trying to find their own claims for fame, but somehow you were put in their path and nothing had been the same since.

you had thought they were just incredibly polite, but truly they were just as mesmerized with you as you were with them. as soon as they saw you they knew they had to keep you around.

in only a few weeks you had turned their duo into a trio, following them wherever they went. it was blissful but so damn confusing when you swear they started getting a little too cozy and flirtatious with you, but you didn't mind the attention. you loved it when they'd invited you over to their apartment to smoke and play games and talk for hours, the sun setting and rising before you knew it. but most of all you loved when they made you tag along with them to the studio, citing you as their good luck charm for making some of the best rock music you'd ever heard.

in the blink of an eye, one of their songs blows up overnight and thrusts them into the global spotlight, staying in a small apartment one minute to a luxury penthouse only two months later. it was surreal to go from reposting their songs when you were the first to hear them to seeing the two of them up on billboards when you drove down the highway.

obviously, the increase in fame meant your relationship would change, as much as all three of you hated it. it seemed like whenever you made plans to just hang out with each other their managers were calling to tell them they've been scheduled for another large event or talk show. not to mention that the few times you did manage to hang out after they blew up, their new horde of relentless stans found your identity and harassed you for days on end.

while it was incredibly overwhelming and downright horrifying to have thousands of unseen eyes on your movements, you had to admit it did do something for you when touya went on a livestream and told his fans to “get a life and a job.” his manager was pissed but he just shrugged and told you he didn’t care.

maybe it’s that nonchalant attitude towards your protection that made you say yes to their insistence that you take some time off and let them fly you out to their hotel that they were staying in for a concert in a city, the boys chivalrous as they pick you up from the airport in their shoddy disguises and escort you up to their hotel room.

you're too busy admiring the chicness of the large suite to see their eyes trained on your face, the subtle glance they share before touya takes your things into the bedroom while keigo wraps an arm around your shoulder and shows you around the place, before taking you to the bedroom to show off the fantastic view of the cityscape.

you admire the towering buildings and flickering lights before stepping back and plopping your body onto the plush of their way too-large bed. you can feel the shared heat of their bodies resting on either side of you as you start to talk.

"so the two of you have to pay an egregious fine for trashing any rooms yet?"

"trashing hotel rooms? what kind of deviants do you take us for?" touya's tattooed hand reaches for your neck almost before you can block it, giggling at his attempt to tickle you before it dies down when he lets his fingers rest on the front of your throat.

"exactly. she must have us confused with that other trashy rock group she's obsessed with. what are they called, sinsation?" keigo rolls his eyes before playfully resting his head on your stomach. do they normally set the temperature in hotel rooms this high? you really should get up and turn it down. in a minute.

"im not obsessed with them. if anything i'm staking out the competition for us!"

"us, huh? acting like you're part of the team rather than just our number one groupie?"

"oh please. i might as well be an honorary member with all the songs you've clearly written about me."

electric blue eyes are staring into yours from overhead, the closeness of his face prohibiting you from even breathing right.

"oh yeah? then why don't you help us break the room in?"

to the general public, your boys come off as suave, moving through photoshoots and red carpets with an ease that made them seem like graceful beings that never faltered, and never made a wrong movement. but you knew better than that. you could tell by the nervous tic in touya's lithe fingers as he waited for your response, eyes tracking as yours darted from his to his lips before slamming your mouths together in a sloppy kiss. there's nothing graceful about the way he groaned into your mouth, reached one hand behind your head to grip your hair and another to your chin to keep your head where he wanted.

keigo definitely wasn't doing any better on the delicate front, pretty eyes almost bulging out of his head until your hand tangled into his hair and jerked him down to let him know to get to work.

"god, she's cute. think she's had enough yet?"

"nah, she can go for one more. wouldn't wanna leave our new bandmate unsatisfied, would we?"

it was only an hour later and you were already fucked out of your mind. they had taken turns with you, used you at the same time, and now it seemed like they were just trying to prove a point. you didn't have the brainpower left to ask what it was, and if you did it's not like you could force anything out of your mouth other than squeaky moans and gasps as they held you up in their arms, arms holding you up as they thrusted into you with reckless abandon.

you mindlessly rested your head on keigo's shoulder as the overwhelming pleasure numbed your brain. your eyes lazily blinked as the blonde kissed at your neck and chin. when you let out a whine he softly nosed at your cheek.

you give a gentle nod before letting him pull you into a soft kiss, your arm coming up to wrap around his neck to try and pull him impossibly closer. it gives you the extra little energy you need to keep going, as well as the sharp pinch touya leaves on your nipple to tease you.

Transformers One!Megatronus x Cybertronian!GN!Reader (Bit of Starscream, Soundwave, and Sentinel x reader in this episode.)

Chapter Three: Megatronus

Chapter One, Chapter Two,

TW/Tags: Reader is just trying to get through the day, Senitnel is crushing on reader but is good at not showing it, Sentinel and Zeta got something’ goin on hehe, more drama, Soundwave is looking out for reader in his own way,Starscream is just straight forward in thi episode, mild cussing. I think that’s all.

(No smut in this chapter but you guys are defiantly being fed with the starscream and soundwave bit. So- ya know enjoy)

The next morning after your night with Megatronus. You got up earlier so that you may keep your word with Starscream. As you made your way and got to the training room, Starscream was already there. He mumbled to himself as you got to putting your swords away and slowly made your way to him.

“Um..Starscream?…”

”Mm?” He was startled. And turned to see you. “Ah you made it. About time.”

”I gave you my word. So you ready for some training?”

He smirked as you both got into your stances..This was going to be a long training session.

You both ended training for so long. The others had to go to the other training room so they don’t get hurt by you both. You two weren’t even out of stamina yet. And so you both continued. Your other training wasn’t for another couple hours as. You two have been training for 5 hours straight. Both trying to out match the others. You both even had smiles on your faces as you kept throwing punches and so on.

Until you slipped. You didn’t realize how tired you were. He was able to get the upper hand and pinned you to the floor. You both out of breath as you both stared at each other. Your optics narrowed as you stared up at him. “Well played Starscream.”

He chuckled and watched you there as he thought. “After the war…I will court you…And I won't stop until you accept. Understood?”

……………..Oh Boy.

”Starscream I don’t-“

”Even if you don’t now. You will one day. That’s for certain.” His cervo gently held your chin as he grinned. “So be patient as I will my dear?” You only stared at him and groaned. Maybe when he knows it’s Megatron after the war he’ll give up. And so…you slowly nodded.

He stood up and helped you up. His cervo rested on your hip as he smiled down at you. “You can take a break…..See you tomorrow?” You nodded. Once you were about to make your way to your swords. You felt a kiss on the side of your neck from behind. “Just a little claim” He whispered. You tried to not shiver and made your way to your swords. Picking them up. “See you later Starscream.”

As you made your way to have some breakfast. Someone bumps into you from the other corner of the hall. It was Sentinel. He was holding some data pads and dropped one.

”Ah darn.”

”Here let me help you.” You said as you picked up the data pad and handed it to you. He only stared at you for a moment. “Need my help taking it to where you’re going. I’m not too busy Sentinel.”

He smirked. “I suppose.” He started walking. So you followed him. You both making it to one of the meeting rooms. We’ll be having our 13th meeting this week as we discuss strategy and all. Since I work under the primes I have to be at every single one. For primus' sake I barely get any sleep because of them.” You listened. You know his job is hard.

”You know Sentinel if you don’t give up you will become prime one day. Me and the other high guards are rooting for you. So keep going yeah?” You place your cervo on his shoulder as you looked at him.

He just looked at you and sighed. “I swear you’re the only one out of this entire place who actually listens to me for once.” He crossed his arms. You let out a small chuckle. Something he gave side eye to. And took your cervo off his shoulder as you start to walk out. “Just don’t forget ‘bout me when you become Prime yeah?” You waved to him and made your way out. Sentinel watched you as he looked at your frame. You were a little shorter than him. And a little fragile in some areas….He really liked that..He grinned.

As you made your way you almost walked into Solus Prime. “Oh my Prime, forgive me.” She only looked down at you and smiled. “No worried little one.” She continued walking past you to the meeting room alongside a few of the other primes. They didn’t seem to notice you.

And so you continued to walk, making it to the break room with the other high guard. You noticed Starscream, Soundwave, and Shockwae weren’t there. You ate some energon was waited until it was time for you and Megatrons to go on with your training. And so when the time came, you got up and made your way.

As you made your way, you passed by Soundwave. You both were alone as he stopped you. His arm around your waist. His eyes glowing yellow as he looked at your neck. Laserhawk was also on his shoulder. Soundwaves other cervo moved to your neck and gently rubbed a certain spot with his digit. His helm close to the side of yours.

”High Guards should have no relations of intimacy and such with each other….” He pulled back and faced you. The arm around your waist bringing you closer. Both of your bodies touched as your helms are inches from each other. “Not in here anyway.”

You held you breath. “Be more careful. Y/N….” He let you go and continued walking in his direction. You stood there. Then put your cervo on the spot where he rubbed his digit at. You realized….That’s the spot Starscream kissed. Oh Boy….

You continued to make your way to Megatronus training quarters. The other guards joining were already there waiting. So you join them and wait as well. Even a few ask about your scar every now and then. Megatronus came in a few moments later. But he was upset. He was grumbling and said he’ll be teaching and training against them one by one today. Instead of just watching. You can hear the other bots gulping as they listen to him speak.

And so the training commences for hours. Your training is the same as last time with him yesterday. You were able to keep up like a very few others and watched as the others took their turn against him. After some time everyone else was tired and dented.

Megatronus would announce they were done for the day and the others groaned as they bowed their heads as they said "My Prime” and made their way out. You were cleaning your sword and saying bye to the others. Something to make you look busy. After the others left Megatronus made sure you two were alone and sat not to you. He was still upset over something and you can tell despite his mask. You thought to yourself. Since he is trying to become your Conjunx. Might as well try to treat him like a sparkmate. And so you stood up and walked in front of him. He watched you as you set your cervo on his larger one.

”What’s the matter Megatronus? Is it about a meeting?” His other cervo moved to rest on your back as his eye optics narrowed as he stared down at you.

”No…sweetspark….Just…mm…It doesn’t matter..How is your scar?”

”It doesn’t sting just hurts. I’ll be feeling it for a good while as time passes.” You smiled up at him. His optics seemed to have softened as looked more relaxed as he stared down at you. He then leaned his helm lower to you as he whispered.

”Take my mask off.” His helm was closer to you. You understood. Slowly nodding as you take off his mask. Holding it to the side just in case next to his helm. Your helm leaning up closer to his as both of your dermas connect.

You both closed your optics as the kiss was passionate. Both of your cervos holding his mask as his cervo remains on your back. You exchanged a few more kisses. Damn this felt….so right. You both heard nothing else but your dermas connecting. But the moment is then interrupted by Sentinel calling for Megatronus through the comms. Megatronus groaned before answering as he leaned back.

”A moment Sweetspark.” He answered the comm with the cervo that was once on your back. You put his mask in the cervo that you had your own on before.

He put the mask on as he spoke. Seems Sentinel needs him for the next meeting. The comm ends and he looked back down at you. “I’m sorry sweetspark. I am needed for my next meeting. I shall see you tonight?” You slowly nodded. A bit….sad.

He gently held you chin before standing. “I’ll comm you when I wish to see you. Until then..”

”Until then Megatronus.

He walked out and you were alone. You looked around and laserhawk was no where to be seen. And so you walked out the same door to see if some of the other seekers were hanging out at the lounge area. But as you walked and pass by many others who waved at you. You eventually bumped into Sentinel again.

”Oh Sentinel. Didn’t think I’d see you before the day ended. Shouldn’t you be in the Primes meeting?’ You looked at him as he grumbled and started walking. “Follow me.”

You did. As he spoke you both walked into the break room. He seemed disgusted being in there. “The primes said they must speak amongst themselves. This meeting is about a bigger deal and change in the world and how they don’t need me for this meeting. It’s for ‘the best’ can you believe that?” he groaned. As he ate his energon with an angry expression. You remained quiet for a moment. Then you gently pat his shoulder and speak as he stared down at his energon before glancing at you.

”Hey if you keep complaining. You’ll distract yourself and how will you become a Prime hm?” He looked at you. “You really do have faith in me being a Prime don’t you.”

”Of course I do. I’ve seen you training before and I must say. I’m pretty intimated. And if you do become a prime. then you just give me and the others lower then you hope that he can continue to do better for our planet.” You smiled. You weren’t lying as you stared at him. You then took your cervo off his shoulder. The spot felt cold once your cervo left. You started eating your own energon and he just stared at you for a moment…..He was deep in thought as he continued to eat his too..

He’s later called by one of the primes for a smaller meeting. He only groaned and stood up. He’s a little more cheery as he speaks once more. “Well I must get going. Always enjoy our little chats.”

His cervos resting on your shoulders now. “Until then..Friend.” You were confused. As he left without another word. You stayed there and looked down at your cervos. What is going on with today? Starscream. Then that weird moment with Soundwave. Sentinel you wouldn’t say…..maybe it’s just you being exhausted. Some time after You got up and went to the lounge to hang out with the other high guards. Before you knew it. It was much later. Already the whole day went by. You then get the comm from Megatronus. It was time for you to go see him.

As you made your way, you saw Sentinel headed in the same direction. He seemed to be holding different data pads and you ran to stand next to him. “Hey Sentinel shouldn’t you be heading home.” He groans.

”I have been called by Zeta prime to get some things down. I’d much rather be at home recharging than dealing with this. What about you?”

”Oh I like to walk around even when I’m not doing the patrols for the night. Mind if I walk with you until you get to the primes room?” You both walked closer to the other primes quarters. “I Suppose.” He grinned.

As you both continued to walk. You both heard Megatronus and Solus. “Ugh, those two are always damn arguing now. Happened earlier before the meeting I had before. She always puts Megatronus in a bad mood. You both looked at the two as they just spoke in the hall. Megatronus noticed you and continued to argue with Solus. Sentinel was the one to grab your arm and drag you with him. Megatronus noticed. As you two continued you both got to Zeta primes quarters. Megatronus and Solus were far away from the other hall so they can’t hear and see you.

Sentinel then looked at you. His cervo remained holding your wrist as you looked at him. He then spoke “Well my dear it was nice walking with you. Now remember. Those twos business ain’t ours. How about tomorrow me and you grab dinner? As coworkers?” He whispered as he looked down at you.

But then Zetas steps can be heard. Sentinel then gets an idea. As the door is about to open, he pulled you closer. His dermas connecting with yours as the doors open. Zeta stood ther confused and silent until Sentinel pulled away and spoke “Oh sorry about that Zeta. Just couldn’t help myself. I’ll see you later m dear.” He walked in to Zetas room as Zeta stayed quiet then closed the door. You stood there confused and shocked. Did he just….no…..But why would he…..Oh Primus…..

You stood there for only a moment more before turning back to Megatronus room. Hopefully they were done….

What should you do? Should you tell Megatronus…You thought yesterday was a crazy day full of events…..Primus you’re really in a deep hole aren’t you? Alright just try to night panick and keep your cool. When you turned the corner. You were hit with an…uncomfortable image. Solus had pulled Megatronus down. Removing his mask as their dermas touched. Megatronus looked shocked and as you hid behind the wall in the corner. Megatronus slapped her away. “How dare you put your own hands on me! I told you I’m done.. Never do that again!” Solus stared at him as she wasn’t that phased by hit. She then shook her cervos and left from there. Heading into her own quarters. You watched as megatronus stood up. Putting his mask back on.

You slowly made you way to him. “Megatronus? Are you….alright?”

He looked at you but you didn’t stop walking. He then picked you up and entered his room. The door soon closing behind him. He locked it before then sitting on his berth. He’s trying so hard to stay calm.

”Megatronus-“

”You saw it didn’t you?!” He looked at you. His cervo still around you. “…..Yes….But Megatronus It’s-“

”She-she threw herself at me!” He breathed his cervo shaking. “Megatronus please. I saw everything..” He looked at you.

”Please calm yourself. It’s ok. You…” You tried to think hard

”You chose me…right?” He nodded slowly and seemed to calmed down. Had brought you closer to his chest as he let out a breath. After some time he finally calmed down and looked at you. “Thank you sweetspark.” He removes his mask.

Hs dermas then press against your shoulder, closing his optics. You looked at him and let out a sigh as your cervos gently rest on his cheeks as he continued. “So today is the second day of the courtship?” He lets out a groan and looks at you as he sets you on his lap. “Yes….Disclosure. Why cant these days go any faster.” He grumbles. He then sighs and starts speaking.

Appearntly before your training session today he and on of th other primes told him they’re courting Solus. He rubbed it in his face and that’s why he was so upset. And then during the meeting Megatron just ignored her as she tried to get his attention. And earlier she was trying to ‘explain herself’. To say the least Megatronus had a day of his own. And so after he finished speak. He got to the 2nd day of your courtship. Disclosure. He sighed as he stared down at you.

”I did court her once……..I …also wished to court Prima befor eher but…He rejected me right away. But I promise….” His digit gently holding your chin. “I wont stop courting you..and no matter what..I’ll have you by my side as my Conjunx Endure…I…I truly do love you Y/N….” You felt your get heavy. Why couldn’t the courtship last less? You then gently grabbed the side of his helm and placed a gentle kiss on his dermas. Him returning it. You pull away after a moment.

”I love you too..Megatronus.”

Oh Yeah!! Chapter 3 is finally here! Just 6 more chapters and we can get to the story in the movie. Very excited to give what I got cookin lol. I hope you all enjoyed this chapter. #for context uhmm how do i explain this #so around a few weeks after Jd arrives Bruce is like “Hey... where are the others?”#and Jd is like “ooooh 🤪🤪 he doesnt know...”#Since at this time JD believes that the entire tribe is dead. including his brothers and grandma #so Jd has to take Bruce to the now abandoned troll tree and give him the bad news #Bruce doesnt believe it at first. even if the tree is abandoned they cant be dead? right?? they cant be #so he rushes over to their grandma's pod. thinking that theyre just in hiding and waiting for them to return #and all Bruce is able to find in the empty pod is Branch's old stuffed toy Croco #which solidifies to Bruce that everyone is dead. their friends their family. everyone #Bruce is obviously devastated by the news. he doesnt show it a lot but he doesnt take it too well #he ends up bringing Croco with him back to Vacay Island and patches Croco up #since Croco is a bit worn out due to being left in the pod for years #and since then Bruce always keeps Croco hidden in his hair. both as a memoir of his baby brother #and also a reminder of how he failed as an older brother... ouch #ofc the others arent dead. its just that now both Jd AND Bruce believe that the rest of the trolls are dead #also King Trollex is there bc i wanted to put him there. I carried this thing for MONTHS with the EXPRESS PURPOSE of putting Raphael in it (knowing full well Larian wouldn't let me do that, mechanically) and I had one major miscalculation.

Still very wild to me when people try to gotcha Jason with the whole "if you can kill other people for being evil why can't they kill you" when jason is like. One of the most passively suicidal characters I've ever seen. What if man

#aspen tag #maybe i just need to start watching the backlog without them on tbh #bc every time i run into a godawful error. of which there is no shortage of. i get so frustrated i literally have to stop watching #and like. idk. the new form system is. i know there's probably practical benefits #but from where i am sitting it's just like. additional barriers. more steps. more energy #i watched the new dirty laundry earlier today. with the lightning flashing effect at the beginning #and i checked the desc to see if there was any sort of warnings on the vid and there was nothing #and i thought about pulling up the feedback form to say smth and i just felt tired #and like. idk if any of u were ever active in the discord's caption corrections channel before it shut down #i joined the dropout server for it. i was in there exclusively for it. bc they got on my nerves so bad and i couldn't just do nothing #you could look up a particular line and find reports of it going back months and months #and i get that it was probably not easily indexable. but w/ the way older d20 episodes are #it was a fucking blessing to be able to submit them in bulk. instead of submitting a form for each one individually like u have to now #bc they're like. every 30 seconds. you're lucky if you go a couple minutes without smth almost unparseable #and when there'd be things like unlabeled flashing. or the gore bear. and u start writing up a message on the discord #it's like. there's a sense of people. someone's reading. someone's seeing it. even in just the reacts. y'know #and like. they have retroactive caption editors to clean up the old stuff as of 2024 #but i'm four minutes into tuc episode 2. their third season ever. second episode. four minutes in #and zac says “it's a concentration” and the captions read “white's a constant station”#and i just ..... i guess i find it hard to feel like there's work being done. or like it's a priority #i. me personally. sent messages in the feedback channel about jokes in the captions on at least five or six seperate occasions #and i know there were other people speaking up about it too. over months and months #and the past... however many seasons it's been since burrow's end. have been a little better. but it's like....#it took so long to see any change. and those older ones are going to stay in until the retroactive editors catch all the way up #and people are still going to laugh at them and post about them and not think past their own amusement at them #and it's not that big of a deal but it does like. detract from how much i am able to enjoy d20 #and like. i've been watching for three years. i never shut up about it. it's not like i don't like what they make #but between all of this and the way they handled palestine on the discord. i'm just finding it harder to trust in dropout #idk. idk. it's not a big thing. but it simmers in the back of my mind a lot. i don't rlly think it's going to change anytime soon #so i guess this is just putting it somewhere so it doesn't have to sit in my head all the time. um. yeah 👍

hello why is kaishin more popular than shinkai or what i mean is why bottom shinichi is like the most widely believed one? lol not really in the fandom just vaguely familiar with the anime from childhood it's just my mutuals likes this ship. i'd thought shinichi being the top would be more popular given his personality.

imma be real honest with you, anon, i've loved the kidco dynamic since i was conan-sized but i only realized kaishin should be making out around 2021 so i don't know if i'm the best person to answer this question LOL BUT, i'll give you an answer!

tbh, i think for fandom shipping in general, the main character more often than not is the chosen bottom and whoever else is the other party is topping them. in japanese media especially, the ship names are mostly born from putting the kanji of their names together wherein the order of which indicates the seme and uke. since this happens early on, we kinda get stuck with that as the popular ship name whether you prefer the other way later on.

perhaps kaishin is more popular but not entirely by a lot compared to other ships where it's completely skewed to one side. i see a lot of shinkai too. ofc there are people who prefer one way over the other exclusively and that's completely fine!

personally, i think confining them into seme and uke or top and bottom does a great disservice to the kaishin dynamic because to me we should be looking at their sub-dom dynamic more and why they're actually peak switch sub and dom!!!!

when you say shinichi would be the "obvious top," i'd like to assume in your heart you actually meant "the obvious dom" (LOL) but i think that could also apply to kaito.

i think the appeal of kaishin is the push and pull between them. the give and take. they're always trying to one-up each other. sometimes one pushes and the other gives way, sometimes it's the other way around.

i will be honest, perhaps switch pairings might just be my preference but I have never encountered a pairing that felt this completely equal in the switch department more than kaishin. like for other ships i'd sometimes be like, "yeah they switch but A is 70% more dom than B." But for kaishin I'm like, "oKAY THEY'RE 50/50 THEY'RE EQUALS THEY'RE PERFECT HALVES RAAAAAHHHH"

now how does this answer your question? well, i have no proof and im going off of vibes and like i said im no veteran in this ship fandom but, i think a lot of people do enjoy the other way around as you think it would've been. it's just that...it's something that can just be filed under the kaishin tag too. because it's basically the same sometimes. the only different thing is who's topping and bottoming. like sometimes i'm scrolling through twitter and i'd see art that's giving shinkai but it's tagged as kaishin and vice versa lol.

also personally i prefer calling them kaishin because i love the letter k and i associate the name shinkai more with makoto shinkai so every time i see people refer to kaishin as shinkai, my mind just conjures up an image of kaito, shinichi, and makoto shinkai together and i know that's fucking hilariously weird but it sometimes happens!!!! LMAO so even if i'm thinking about shinkai stuff, i still prefer using the name kaishin lol.

(but having the kaishin/shinkai distinction is definitely still useful especially for people who want to filter through one way or the other so fuck yeah to the ship name shinkai you're here to stay!!!)

anyway in conclusion, top shinichi is popular too dw lol, or maybe i should say bottom kaito is popular too lol i see yalls

tonight's art offering: charlie's future dog, winona! he fosters her for about six months, trying and failing to get her adopted, before giving in and adopting her himself, making her his first actual pet. alistaire is less than enthused at the prospect of a large slobbery dog inhabiting his apartment, but winona very quickly grows on him, especially after she bonds with his cat enemy of the state.

Same Anon as Yesterday (Food pun anon) and I just wanna say something I personally think is missing from Rio’s arc, that I think is important.

So largely, I’m speaking from my own experience as a twin, where me and the twin were really codependent and I was definitely the more docile of the twins. What really helped me with my own personal inferiority complex was making the choice to step out of her shadow. Even though I wasn’t born talented at the things I chose to focus on, the fact that I had chosen to set out and do it on my own left me feeling proud and fulfilled.

To me, Rio makes this choice by becoming Julio, only to step back into her shadow (aka his comfort zone) after his redemption. His friends are her friends, his hobby is her hobby. In a way it’s like, regression rather than development.

I think Rio really should have found something that he’s passionate about that Ciel isn’t, and made some friends that care about that same passion. I don’t think he needs to stop being passionate about baking, but I think he should’ve tried to find something that makes him feel unique. He needs friends that care for him not because he’s Ciels twin, but because he’s Rio.

I’ve came up with various headcanons over the years to deal with this, from giving him a set of new friends, to him becoming more of a business kinda guy when they grow up. Like Ciel is the creative one who literally doesn’t understand the first thing about running a business and Rio is the manager who makes sure the patisserie they run doesn’t spontaneously explode or smth. If I recall, WV Rio likes sports as a hobby (might’ve hallucinated that, it’s been a minute) and I really wish canon had expanded on that, or his other talents. Because I think that would’ve been a much more satisfying way to end his arc.

food anon you're so right. my hottest take of all is that at the end of the series rio still isn't in a healthy mindset because he's put right back into the same situation that caused him to spiral in the first place except ciel compliments him sometimes and i don't think that's a great ending. when writing waffleverse i always ask myself "who is (pov character)?" and once i moved out of rio's julio era and his corporated mandated post-redemption angst i realized i had no fucking idea because postcoma rio just. Exists. he's ciel's brother and he's kinda grumpy and he feels bad about what he did as julio and that's about all you can say about him. he is unfortunately the hardest character for me to write because of that

#like you said the solution to rio's arc isn't ciel saying his waffles tasted good it's him getting to define himself independent of ciel #because the reason why rio's arc doesn't work in canon is because at the end of the day he is simply just an extension of her!#i've played with ideas like yours for other versions of rio that float around in my head #imo if they Absolutely had to have rio out of the story for 16 episodes why not put him on a literal bus. let him have an offscreen self #discovery arc. maybe he could cameo once in a while by calling ciel or something. i think giving him time to breathe and figure out who #he is would've worked a lot better #also wv rio does play soccer! it's a throwaway line in part 3. it would've come up again in part 6 had i not cut #most of the sports festival episode #since it was giving me a lot of trouble and i just wanted to get the fic out #anyways yeah remember how rio as julio was into experimenting... how he was good at sports...#i think both ciel and rio need hobbies outside of baking tbh. it's not healthy to be so hyperfocused all the time #i also headcanon rio as being the finances guy lmao. in wv it's yukari rn but in the future after yukari leaves he takes over #sorry for how long these tags are i've thought about the stuff in your ask a lot #asks #anonymous #precure critical #precure neg #once again tagging just to be safe #cure waffle au #rio kuroki
