The ones I'd like to keep in my heart. Many of them are aren't cannon but I love them, some never got their happy ending but I hope that one day they meet each other again. Some of them got to have their endings and some didn't, some may be just friends and some just "colleagues" 😂, whatever they are, i know they love each and care about each other. They might as well burn the world for their lovers. In jujutsu kaisen they said that love is the greatest curse of them all and it may be for some. For me, it's as much as a blessing as it is a tragedy and I hope that something as pure as love doesn't get to be called a curse for the rest of us too. haven't watched this ep either so i haven't gotten to this scene but i've watched enough sageuks to know a little, dug around a bit and yeah 부인 does directly translate to Lady Yoo in that instance. very different from when Gil Chae called herself 부인 when she thought he was dead towards the end of part one bc that fits more into the definition of using that word to refer to another's wife (and she was calling herself his wife so it works) whereas here i'm assuming he's still putting that distance between them by calling her 부인 or Lady Yoo. it's considered less polite to call your own wife 부인 (obviously neither he or Lee Joong Gil from Tomorrow or Mr. F*ckass General care about politeness generally, looking at the latter and his crocodile tears) so usually the word used in that case would be 아내 instead of 부인—tl;dr, i'd place my bet on 부인 here, just to be safe

Okay but when Jang Hyun shows up at the place to give Gil Chae the clothes, he does not call her Lady Yoo as the subtitles say. He uses the term "부인" which means wife. He calls her his WIFE.

FINISHED:

❄THE FIRST FROST - This was so wonderfully layered as it dealt with some hard issues and worked out their fears. I got emotional during the proposal which was so meaningfully beautiful. Loved it!

🎸MY DEAREST NEMESIS - I enjoyed this cute and thoughtful romance. After listening to this week's Afternoona Delight Pod Deep Dive, I think one major reason that Juyeon liked the 80s rock music and style probably had to do with his parents liking it that music would have been nostalgic for him. Just like I grew up listening to the Oldies (50s/60s) music because my mom listened to it on the radio when we were growing up in the 80s/90s.

⚖UNDERCOVER HIGH SCHOOL - This action dramedy was so much ridiculous fun and yet very intense as well. A great villain whom I loved to hate. I enjoyed the way the students ended up adopting Haeseong. I would have liked more romance but I'm happy with what we did get so I'm not too disappointed. Seo Kang Joon surprised me how fantastically he pulled off comedy since he's mostly known for serious dramas. More romcoms in his near future please!

CURRENTLY WATCHING:

🥔THE POTATO LAB (ep10) - This drama has been a little much for me at times but I'm into the angst that were going through which is giving Kang Tae Oh some meat to his role.

☃AMIDST A SNOWSTORM OF LOVE (ep6) - I'm finally watching this gem! I wanted to watch it in the winter but that didn't happen. I loved Zhao Jinmai in RESET but this is my first Leo Wu drama. I love their lowkey chemistry simmering throughout their scenes. Though as someone raised in Minnesota, I'm shocked how bad the snow removal is in Finland. Do businesses/apartments not shovel and salt their own sidewalks, stairs, and entrances? Their roads didn't look much better. When I was a teenager, it was my job after school to shovel any snow off our driveway and front step so it didn't ice over since I was the first kid home. There was one Christmas it snowed a foot in 24-hours and we still went to my grandma's across town for the holiday because the state kept plowing as it was falling to keep the roads clear. Honestly, I was spoiled by such a great public transportation service.

As a kniter I would like to point out, moon ga young seems to know how to knit very well. Making gloves as the first project with fingering weight yarn and having no holes in it (even thought it's only 3 fingers) is like starting to walk and immediately breakdancing almost perfectly.
