The exes-to-lovers fic that I've been teasing since April is finally live! It's fully written at around 31k words and I'll be posting twice a week for the month of November. I think one of the worst things about depression is honestly that people are so incredibly kind, or they can be so incredibly kind and generous, but...you still have depression. It's not their fault, and you feel worse that you can't honour them the way they deserve.

Anyway, I mean there are many 'worst things' about depression, but seeing the kindness of folks and not having the spoons to properly acknowledge them or *feel* that kindness is a whole thing.

Picturing this from Rio's POV is so funny

Okay so you're lonely and probably bored but then you meet this beautiful witch who's into the same things you are and who's also terribly lonely and you two fall madly in love, like you didn't even know you could love. This is a big deal! Like she's also so funny she's hilarious and cute with her little lies.

And then one day she decides to get a puppy and you're like uh no, that's a bad idea because of what we do. But okay sure, your loss if anything happens to the puppy. And then the puppy dies and you have to do your job which you've been very clear about and she gets so upset at you she leaves and everything hurts.

But hey it's okay! Like you're still really mad because WTF but this could still work. You two had an amazing thing going and both of you are still obviously attracted to each other – and then she gets another fuckin puppy.
