The new (and improved) Abigail!

After making the past few characters, I've been itching to give Abigail a redesign. It's been like, 6 years since the last one, so I figure it was about time. I wanted her to look a bit more "punk rock" and I think that was accomplished! She even got a new tattoo and haircut out of it!

The sheet was done by @mthsmelo, who did a bang up job! I look forward to working with him in the future on other characters!

Violet Harmon's Taste in Music: Overview & Analysis

Including music Vi mentions, music that was in the original script, songs she listens to, and my Violet-inspired playlist.

Music in the original script:

In Pilot, the script originally intended for one of The Smiths songs to play during the scene where Tate and Violet show each other their scars.

Instead, Violet just mentions Morrissey, and the song Special Death by Mirah plays for a second time in the episode!

During this same sequence, instead of asking Tate if he wants to listen to Morrissey, Violet mentions a band named Craven. I think this is a made-up band name since I couldn't find any info about it! Here's an excerpt from the script:

Music Violet mentioned in AHS:

In Pilot, Violet asks Tate, "Do you wanna listen to Morrissey? He's cool, and pissy, and he hates everyone and everything."

Violet wore a band tee that has The Kinks Word of Mouth album at on it (in Halloween Part: 1).

Vi mentions another punk band in Afterbirth. While looking through Gabe's CD collection, she asks him, "Don't you have any Ramones? Like Animal Boy or Too Tough to Die?"

She also tells Gabe that he has "horrible taste in music" because he owns a Butthole Surfers CD.

A NEW GIRL! (+ a minor correction for Abigail) The new OC is Kerri Silveira, a girl of Brazilian decent that likes Grunge music and Cryptids. She is quietly judging you, unless you ask her about the Mothman or something. She's part of Abigail's band, Parasite Eden, and has known Abigail for a while, having played with her in their previous band, Teenage Cremation. The logo on the back of her flannel is for the radio station she DJs for, Cryptid Coven Radio. The station primarily plays alt-rock and experimental music, and has segments about cryptid sightings and the like in a short "true crime-esc" style. Abigail's correction is fixing a typo btw. It was such a small thing that neither myself or MthS noticed it lol As I just mentioned, the art was handled by @mthsmelo! He continues to do a great job! Next on our chopping block is another redesign for a character (won't say who) and I'm super stoked.

GOOD LORD i have not been able to think about anything else but Fig's undying devotion to her friends since last night's episode. I wonder if she's actually going to persue the paladin stuff, and if she does I wonder if they're going to make her a custom oath??? i know mechanically, oath of devotion is pretty versatile, but ALSO it would be so cool to find something that's so Fig. the way you could combine the warlock "relationships & agreements" stuff to an oath.... her love for her friends is so powerful :(

The well know british fashion designer knows for her eccentric couture has many iconic designs from the 90s. That being seen as admired archives.

Dame Vivienne style mostly revolves around plaid, corsets and many bold colours. That being said her designs making her brand more unique to the others. The make up on the models adds more of her touch to the looks.

During the punk years Westwood combined historical styles with tartan and bold colours not usually used by many other designers.

Her connections with punk influenced her business which made it stand out more.

Aliens have contacted humanity, they a ready to make first contact. The landing place has been selected, leaders and press from around the world are waiting for this historic moment. A ship lands, the doors open, inhuman creature come out. They are not representatives from a Galactic Federation or a Galactic Empires, they are not from any interstellar nation or corporation, they are an alien punk band that was on the way to their next gig when they detected an old radio signal of the Sex Pistols and they like what they heard.
