Jeremy Knox was the Captain of the esteemed pirate ship, ‘The Trojan’. Although, he is more frequently referred to as ‘Captain Sunshine.’ Alongside his crew, he has helped countless people. But, he has a secret and a consuming need for revenge that he keeps under lock and key. This is brought to the surface when a lone man is rescued and subsequently taken prisoner: Jean Moreau, better known as ‘Three’. Three is ruthless and a deadly pirate, something Jeremy knows firsthand.

When Andrew, Renee's right hand man, asks her to holiday with him while he visits his paramour in a neighbouring (rival) kingdom, Renee is only too happy to go along. When that holiday turns into her scheming her way into a royal competition to win the hand of Princess Allison, well, that she's less happy about, but needs must. And one of her co-competitors, a rough street fighter with a smile to die for, is interesting enough that Renee doesn't feel like losing quite so soon.

If she can balance falling in love while trying her best to arrange a Walkeran-Reynoldian marriage and end a decade old feud involving a horse and a dinner plate, well, no one said Renee couldn't multitask.

In all her years, Genya Safin had never once seen the quaint little flower shop in the corner of the street in town nor has she seen the Fabrikator who sculpted metal into something so beautiful. But there she stood upon a shop of glass, gazing at a rose that would last an eternity with a brilliant glow.

No Grisha was a fool to waste their talents in a shop... But it was as if this one had entangled all of Ravka in his charm with only vines of blossoms.
