Day 13- Child/Children

It goes without saying that, after knowing each other for so long, Liu Qingge communicates his appreciation not with words, but actions. Today, his action is to bring Shen Yuan a transparent box of muscled furby cookies. Why? Well, Shen Yuan does so enjoy talking about these weird little creatures. Surely these cookies would be a source of joy for him.

Oh my god. 

“ Thanks. ..? ” What’s he supposed to do with these ?

He kind of wants to cry when he looks at them , but he’s also filled with morbid fascination. This is some serious baking skills Liu Qingge , how did you hide this from me ? More importantly , why are you using your powers for evil ? Why are their abs so sculpted ??? Shen Yuan is begrudgingly impressed , when he tries to bake any shapes in the oven , they all end up as various unrecognizable blobs . 

He can’t quite place why Liu Qingge chose such a weird gift this time , it’s not like he collects these toys. — but he has mentioned them a couple times just for their absurd looks. Wait... does that mean Liu Qingge actually listens to him talk about useless things ? He thinks about those random nights he slept over , the lights were off and he leaned over to “ pssst ” at his half-asleep friend , the glow of his phone screen lighting up the room. “Isn’t this so weird,” he had laughed flopping besides Liu Qingge in bed as he held up a listings of various custom furbies. He scrolled through a couple , showing only the most hellish ones until even his eyes went blurry with sleep.

Shen Yuan knows he has a habit of talking too much about everything. Half the time people just politely nod along while zoning out to another dimension, or if they’re anything like Shen Jiu they’ll stop him with a palm placed over his mouth to finally shut him up without actually throttling him. To be honest , he’s not offended , wordiness is kind of his thing.

This kind of behavior is so unexpected , adorable really , especially from Liu Qingge —  now he can’t believe he’s getting misty eyed over damn furby cookies. This leaves him little choice but to taste their piercing gaze and rippling abs. He holds one up , staring at its come hither face, uncertain which end he should eat from. Biting into its head , wow , they’re actually really good. “ Hey , let’s go dunk them in milk and see how demonic they get . ”
