Good question! Because I roleplay as this mother fucker, and for funzies I made him a fakeymon form and human form. Sometimes i draw him as a fire noodle with arms- and most of the time i draw him like this:

Fun fact about me, I don't really like Mega Lucario. I feel they missed some potential of incorporating the aura stuff and the weird flesh red bits look bad to me.

So here's Mega Korri for the psmd time skip! I used the tree of life and mew as references and changed a few things that I didn't like! Feel free to ask stuff!

I think it would be neat if PSMD partner had those big blue Mew eyes.

Everyone is always complimenting them on their "unusual" eyes, not knowing they're the reflection of an ancient being.

yes, the one physical trait partner has that ties them to mew is that no matter what species/type they are, they have blue eyes

i only started loving dragalge recently‚ i believe i said. i had no idea it existed, let alone that it was gen 6, until a bit ago. and now i'm just like. yeah. this is a creature that i enjoy the existence of. i would like to be this thing

the post-game in GtI was considerably shorter, i feel, however. the postgame in gti focused more heavily on the town-building of paradise, which just unfortunately didn't have enough customization options or buildings that i thought would be useful for me to keep wanting to do it after saving the hero. psmd's postgame was more involved than that—rather than just doing one dungeon, it at least takes you through a few of them (which, in my playthrough, at least, i was woefully underleveled for—was it just me, or did the postgame dungeons really spike in required level compared to the final dungeons of the game? i was only around level 25 when completing the game, as opposed to the 40ish 50ish that i was in pmd sky). it really follows you through that adventure of bouncing around through the world and using all those loose ends you tied up to get what you need. whereas gates to infinity (love it to bits still) just said Hey go here and your partner was like :O!!!! and did

Did a cover of Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon's Partner's Theme. While this beautiful piece occurs in scenes relatively early in the game, for the story, I did an exploration of the psychology of the partner throughout the game. If you know, you know.

sometimes i think of the finale of super mystery dungeon. the whole themeing they're going for at the end is that bad things are a part of life and you need to accept that, and they do it by having Dark Matter finally be "defeated" by simply being accepted.

But the whole thing that they're doing as the villain is driving the tree of life into the sun, leaving the world to get consumed by it in turn.

To have the ultimate threat to the planet at the end of the game be the sun-- something that people see as good, benevolent even-- it's sort of a metaphor for a kind of toxic positivity that dark matter subscribes to, with it not understanding how necessary it's own existence is.
