SPOILERS FOR DAV, ONLY READ IF FINISHED THE GAME
Read at your own risk!!! Ever since finishing the game, I've started replaying the game. And I've been noticing some details. Some very specific details...
Is Varric actually fully Solas? All throughout the Lighthouse? I know that Solas made Rook see Varric, but I was under the assumption that it was kinda like Rooks mind filling in the blanks, or something along those lines.
But there's a scene I caught, at the very beginning. Where when Rook is looking away and whichever companion enters the healing room and talks to them. The camera keeps cutting back to his expression. And I feel like the expressions on his face doesnt fit Varric.
The gif is a bit grainy so I'll add a clearer screenshot to show his expression.
The little micro shift in his expression. It feels like aggression. Could this really be just Solas imitating his friend, and actually getting more involved to shape Rook into what he needs? It would put so much more weight into his words. "I molded you into someone the prison would accept in my place." "I taught you well."
Yall please tell me I'm not crazy and you're seeing this too. I'm so sick rn about all of this.

Green Lantern Kai-Ro
The serene Kai-Ro was born in Tibet and was among the youngest individuals to be selected by a Power Ring to become a Green Lantern. Despite his young age, Kai-Ro possessed great maturity and wisdom; his inner peace and sense of allowed him to be especially proficient at wielding the power ring. Kai-Ro was renowned throughout many space sectors as one of the mightiest of the Green Lanterns.
Kai-Ro was asked by Superman to become a member of the Justice League Unlimited, an iteration of the League that existed in the future era of Batman Beyond. The Lantern agreed and served int he League alongside Superman, Big Barda, Micron and Warhawk. When Superman asked Batman (Terry McGinnis) to join the team, Kai-Ro showed a degree of uncertainty that Batman was ready to be a part of the League. His thoughts on the matter changed when Batman held the team defeat the threat of Staro.
Actress Lauren Tom provided the voice for Kai-Ro with the young Green Lantern first appearing in in the seventh episode of the third season of Batman Beyond, ‘The Call Part I.’

Damian Wayne & Terry McGinnis
There's this tiktoker (leaf_sprout) who made a video about Jason meeting Terry McGinnis and their dynamic, which has just been making me think about the potential of Terry meeting other members of the family.
In Batman Beyond, Bruce is in his 70's. Let's just say 70 flat. In my mind, in my mind that could have the rest of the family be at these ages:
Dick (55), Jason (50), Cass (50), Tim (47), Duke (44), Damian (40), and then Terry (16).
Thinking about the ages, specifically Damian's, makes me wonder about possible dynamics between the two, and suddenly I NEED someone to write a fic about the two. Because JUST IMAGINE IT.
Damian is probably away somewhere out of the country when Brue first meets Terry. Then when Damian does meet Terry, Bruce has already decided he will take up the mantle.
By this time Damian has already decided long ago not to become Batman. Either because he chose to make his own hero identity that better reflects his personality/methods (like the rest of his siblings). Or maybe he decided that he’d rather mentor/train the nextgen of heroes since he recognizes his skills would be great being used to guide/support others (he’s trained members of the LoA, so I think it would be great to see him mentoring the younger gen like his father did with him and his siblings). Both reasons, actually, both reasons are great.
Anyway, when they first meet, Damian is of course skeptical. Damian may have helped train/mentor heroes before, but this time was different, this time it was an outsider coming into his family. He sees Terry as nothing more than a young, inexperienced hero, an outsider who hasn’t earned his place in his family (yet). To Damian, the title of Batman is not to be taken lightly or taken without the necessary dedication and an adequate amount of prep. So he tests the kid; tests his methods, decisions, and capabilities in combat and strategy. Their initial dynamic is tense because of this.
However, Terry’s determination, skills, willingness to learn and adapt, and his need to prove himself worthy of the mantle, would eventually earn Damian’s respect. This leads to Damian finding himself mentoring him (because realistically Bruce is 70 and may be able to be his guy in the chair, but the more physical training/guidance would be difficult).
Damian's training and high standards help push Terry to his limits, allowing him to grow stronger and more skilled. Whereas Terry would likely challenge Damian’s more traditional methods and ideas, leading to mutual growth between the two. Their relationship would be full of respect, mentorship, and an opportunity for emotional growth for both of them, learning from each other's strengths and weaknesses.
Eventually, as time goes on, this mentorship/dynamic could evolve with Damian taking up a paternal role as Damian starts to see parts of himself in Terry.
In this new dynamic, Damian becomes protective and concerned over Terry’s well-being, in a way a father would be, which is new to him, leading to even more growth. Terry’s youthfulness bring out a softer side to Damian. Damian, in turn, provides wisdom, experience, and a guiding hand in his journey, giving Terry a strong and reliable person to depend on.
Together they work on having Terry re-build the legacy of Batman.
Anyways I'm kinda just in love with the idea now of the two meeting and developing a father son/relationship (despite them being technically siblings).

The Dun Horse
The Dun Horse is a Pawnee tale about a poor boy and his grandmother, who find an old horse and take it in. The horse turns out to be magical, however, and improves their fortunes considerably. Like many Pawnee legends – and Native American tales generally – the story highlights the importance of kindness and of following instructions.
In Pawnee spiritual belief, the Great Spirit was the Creator God Ti-ra'wa ("Father Above"), who, despite any evidence to the contrary, was always in control of the created world. Aspects of the world that one judged to be "good" or "bad" were only so in one's opinion as no "bad" thing could come from Ti-ra'wa. The wisdom of the elders, and of the natural world, was understood to come from this same source, and so there are many stories of talking animals, or of elder characters, providing instruction which one ignored at one's peril.
In many stories, including the Wihio tales of the Cheyenne and the Iktomi tales of the Sioux, failing to follow instructions leads to failure – or even death – while, in The Dun Horse, the central character is given a second chance by Ti-ra'wa after his failure, learns from his mistake, and is rewarded for his kindness, faithfulness, and courage.
Text
The following is taken from Pawnee Hero Stories and Folk-Tales (1889) by George Bird Grinnell. As in many Native American tales, the number four is repeated as it is understood as sacred, representing the cardinal points of the compass and the spirits who preside over the directions.
I.
Many years ago, there lived in the Pawnee tribe an old woman and her grandson, a boy about sixteen years old. These people had no relations and were very poor. They were so poor that they were despised by the rest of the tribe. They had nothing of their own; and always, after the village started to move the camp from one place to another, these two would stay behind the rest, to look over the old camp, and pick up anything that the other Indians had thrown away, as worn out or useless. In this way they would sometimes get pieces of robes, worn out moccasins with holes in them, and bits of meat.
Now, it happened one day, after the tribe had moved away from the camp, that this old woman and her boy were following along the trail behind the rest, when they came to a miserable old worn-out dun horse, which they supposed had been abandoned by some Indians. He was thin and exhausted, was blind of one eye, had a bad sore back, and one of his forelegs was very much swollen. In fact, he was so worthless that none of the Pawnees had been willing to take the trouble to try to drive him along with them. But when the old woman and her boy came along, the boy said, "Come now, we will take this old horse, for we can make him carry our pack." So, the old woman put her pack on the horse, and drove him along, but he limped and could only go very slowly.
II.
The tribe moved up on the North Platte, until they came to Court House Rock. The two poor Indians followed them and camped with the others. One day while they were here, the young men who had been sent out to look for buffalo, came hurrying into camp and told the chiefs that a large herd of buffalo were near, and that among them was a spotted calf.
The Head Chief of the Pawnees had a very beautiful daughter, and when he heard about the spotted calf, he ordered his old crier to go about through the village and call out that the man who killed the spotted calf should have his daughter for his wife. For a spotted robe is ti-war´-uks-ti—big medicine .
The buffalo were feeding about four miles from the village, and the chiefs decided that the charge should be made from there. In this way, the man who had the fastest horse would be the most likely to kill the calf. Then all the warriors and the young men picked out their best and fastest horses and made ready to start. Among those who prepared for the charge was the poor boy on the old dun horse. But when they saw him, all the rich young braves on their fast horses pointed at him, and said, "Oh, see; there is the horse that is going to catch the spotted calf;" and they laughed at him, so that the poor boy was ashamed, and rode off to one side of the crowd, where he could not hear their jokes and laughter.
When he had ridden off some little way, the horse stopped, and turned his head round, and spoke to the boy. He said, "Take me down to the creek, and plaster me all over with mud. Cover my head and neck and body and legs." When the boy heard the horse speak, he was afraid; but he did as he was told. Then the horse said, "Now mount, but do not ride back to the warriors, who laugh at you because you have such a poor horse. Stay right here, until the word is given to charge." So, the boy stayed there.
And presently all the fine horses were drawn up in line and pranced about and were so eager to go that their riders could hardly hold them in; and at last, the old crier gave the word, "Loo-ah"—Go! Then the Pawnees all leaned forward on their horses and yelled, and away they went. Suddenly, away off to the right, was seen the old dun horse. He did not seem to run. He seemed to sail along like a bird. He passed all the fastest horses, and in a moment, he was among the buffalo. First, he picked out the spotted calf, and charging up alongside of it, U-ra-rish! straight flew the arrow. The calf fell. The boy drew another arrow and killed a fat cow that was running by. Then he dismounted and began to skin the calf before any of the other warriors had come up. But when the rider got off the old dun horse, how changed he was! He pranced about and would hardly stand still near the dead buffalo. His back was all right again; his legs were well and fine; and both his eyes were clear and bright.
The boy skinned the calf and the cow that he had killed, and then he packed all the meat on the horse and put the spotted robe on top of the load, and started back to the camp on foot, leading the dun horse. But even with this heavy load the horse pranced all the time and was no longer scared at everything he saw. On the way to camp, one of the rich young chiefs of the tribe rode up by the boy and offered him twelve good horses for the spotted robe, so that he could marry the Head Chief's beautiful daughter; but the boy laughed at him and would not sell the robe.
Now, while the boy walked to the camp leading the dun horse, most of the warriors rode back, and one of those that came first to the village, went to the old woman, and said to her, "Your grandson has killed the spotted calf." And the old woman said, "Why do you come to tell me this? You ought to be ashamed to make fun of my boy because he is poor." The warrior said, "What I have told you is true," and then he rode away. After a little while another brave rode up to the old woman, and said to her, "Your grandson has killed the spotted calf." Then the old woman began to cry, she felt so badly because everyone made fun of her boy, because he was poor.
Pretty soon the boy came along, leading the horse up to the lodge where he and his grandmother lived. It was a little lodge, just big enough for two, and was made of old pieces of skin that the old woman had picked up and was tied together with strings of rawhide and sinew. It was the meanest and worst lodge in the village. When the old woman saw her boy leading the dun horse with the load of meat and the robes on it, she was very much surprised. The boy said to her, "Here, I have brought you plenty of meat to eat, and here is a robe, that you may have for yourself. Take the meat off the horse." Then the old woman laughed, for her heart was glad. But when she went to take the meat from the horse's back, he snorted and jumped about, and acted like a wild horse. The old woman looked at him in wonder and could hardly believe that it was the same horse. So, the boy had to take off the meat, for the horse would not let the old woman come near him.
III.
That night the horse spoke again to the boy and said, "Wa-ti-hes Chah´-ra-rat wa-ta. To-morrow the Sioux are coming—a large war party. They will attack the village, and you will have a great battle. Now, when the Sioux are drawn up in line of battle, and are all ready to fight, you jump on to me, and ride as hard as you can, right into the middle of the Sioux, and up to their Head Chief, their greatest warrior, and count coup on him, and kill him, and then ride back. Do this four times, and count coup on four of the bravest Sioux, and kill them, but don't go again. If you go the fifth time, maybe you will be killed, or else you will lose me. La-ku´-ta-chix—remember." So, the boy promised.
The next day it happened as the horse had said, and the Sioux came down and formed a line of battle. Then the boy took his bow and arrows, and jumped on the dun horse, and charged into the midst of them. And when the Sioux saw that he was going to strike their Head Chief, they all shot their arrows at him, and the arrows flew so thickly across each other that the sky became dark, but none of them hit the boy. And he counted coup on the Chief, and killed him, and then rode back. After that he charged again among the Sioux, where they were gathered thickest, and counted coup on their bravest warrior, and killed him. And then twice more, until he had gone four times as the horse had told him.
But the Sioux and the Pawnees kept on fighting, and the boy stood around and watched the battle. And at last, he said to himself, "I have been four times and have killed four Sioux, and I am all right, I am not hurt anywhere; why may I not go again?" So, he jumped on the dun horse, and charged again. But when he got among the Sioux, one Sioux warrior drew an arrow and shot. The arrow struck the dun horse behind the forelegs and pierced him through. And the horse fell down dead. But the boy jumped off, and fought his way through the Sioux, and ran away as fast as he could to the Pawnees. Now, as soon as the horse was killed, the Sioux said to each other, "This horse was like a man. He was brave. He was not like a horse." And they took their knives and hatchets, and hacked the dun horse and gashed his flesh, and cut him into small pieces.
The Pawnees and Sioux fought all day long, but toward night the Sioux broke and fled.
IV.
The boy felt very badly that he had lost his horse; and, after the fight was over, he went out from the village to where it had taken place, to mourn for his horse. He went to the spot where the horse lay, and gathered up all the pieces of flesh, which the Sioux had cut off, and the legs and the hoofs, and put them all together in a pile. Then he went off to the top of a hill nearby and sat down and drew his robe over his head and began to mourn for his horse.
As he sat there, he heard a great windstorm coming up, and it passed over him with a loud rushing sound, and after the wind came a rain. The boy looked down from where he sat to the pile of flesh and bones, which was all that was left of his horse, and he could just see it through the rain. And the rain passed by, and his heart was very heavy, and he kept on mourning.
And pretty soon, came another rushing wind, and after it a rain; and as he looked through the driving rain toward the spot where the pieces lay, he thought that they seemed to come together and take shape, and that the pile looked like a horse lying down, but he could not see well for the thick rain.
After this, came a third storm like the others; and now when he looked toward the horse, he thought he saw its tail move from side to side two or three times, and that it lifted its head from the ground. The boy was afraid, and wanted to run away, but he stayed.
And as he waited, there came another storm. And while the rain fell, looking through the rain, the boy saw the horse raise himself up on his forelegs and look about. Then the dun horse stood up.
V.
The boy left the place where he had been sitting on the hilltop and went down to him. When the boy had come near to him, the horse spoke and said, "You have seen how it has been this day; and from this you may know how it will be after this. But Ti-ra´-wa has been good and has let me come back to you. After this, do what I tell you; not any more, not any less." Then the horse said, "Now lead me off, far away from the camp, behind that big hill, and leave me there to-night, and in the morning come for me;" and the boy did as he was told.
And when he went for the horse in the morning, he found with him a beautiful white gelding, much more handsome than any horse in the tribe. That night the dun horse told the boy to take him again to the place behind the big hill, and to come for him the next morning; and when the boy went for him again, he found with him a beautiful black gelding. And so for ten nights, he left the horse among the hills, and each morning he found a different colored horse, a bay, a roan, a gray, a blue, a spotted horse, and all of them finer than any horses that the Pawnees had ever had in their tribe before.
Now the boy was rich, and he married the beautiful daughter of the Head Chief, and when he became older, he was made Head Chief himself. He had many children by his beautiful wife, and one day when his oldest boy died, he wrapped him in the spotted calf robe and buried him in it. He always took good care of his old grandmother and kept her in his own lodge until she died. The dun horse was never ridden except at feasts, and when they were going to have a doctors' dance, but he was always led about with the Chief, wherever he went. The horse lived in the village for many years, until he became very old. And at last, he died.

First Player
1. New Admin
After hours of thinking, Jaune was debating between Trivia Vanilla, Pyrrha Nikos, and Ruby Rose. Why those three? To be honest, he just chose random since the floating words won’t help him at all. And finally, he had chosen one.
Jaune: Okay, first option have never failed me before so I choose Ruby Rose.
[Picking Ruby Rose]
[Waiting for the user to reply…]
The only thing Jaune could do at that moment was sitting on his bed and wait when he noticed from the window that it was already dark.

Another LMK oc of mine! This is Xu Yang! He's the reincarnation of Hou yi! He's a mega Chang'e fanboy, so much that he learned how to make his own merch! (I don't often draw in the lmk artstyle so usually you'll see my lmk oc's in my normal artstyle sgdhdjdj)
Here is his backstory:
Xu Yang was born in a small village nestled at the foot of the towering Kunlun Mountains in China. From a young age, he exhibited an unusual affinity for archery. His father, a humble craftsman, and his mother, a schoolteacher, nurtured his interests but were puzzled by his extraordinary skill. By the age of ten, Xu Yang could hit targets with uncanny precision, and his prowess only grew as he aged.
Despite his remarkable talents, Xu Yang never felt content. A deep-seated unease gnawed at him, a constant feeling that he was not living up to some undefined expectation. This feeling drove him to train relentlessly, often to the point of exhaustion. His parents worried about his health, but Xu Yang was resolute, convinced that he needed to push himself harder.
At fifteen, Xu Yang began having vivid dreams. In these dreams, he was a mighty archer named Hou Yi, tasked with saving the world by shooting down nine suns that threatened to scorch the Earth. The dreams were so lifelike and recurrent that Xu Yang could no longer dismiss them as mere fantasies. He confided in his grandmother, a wise woman steeped in folklore and tradition. She listened intently and then revealed to him a family secret: according to ancient legend, one of their ancestors was Hou Yi himself.
The revelation was a double-edged sword for Xu Yang. On one hand, it explained his extraordinary abilities and his unrelenting drive. On the other hand, it amplified his feelings of inadequacy. How could he, a mere boy, live up to the legacy of a legendary hero who had saved the world?
Xu Yang's sense of duty became a burden. He believed that he had to prove himself worthy of Hou Yi's spirit within him. This belief led him to overwork himself, pushing his body and mind to their limits. He excelled in school and became the star of the archery team, but his relentless pursuit of perfection took a toll on his health and happiness.
Despite his achievements, Xu Yang felt isolated. His peers admired him but found it hard to relate to his obsessive drive. He struggled with the pressure of his perceived destiny, battling feelings of loneliness and inadequacy.
In the midst of his turmoil, Xu Yang discovered an unexpected source of comfort: a popular cooking show hosted by the goddess Chang'e. The show was a whimsical blend of culinary art and ancient folklore, and Xu Yang found solace in the serene presence of the goddess. Her calm demeanor and gentle wisdom provided a respite from his relentless self-imposed pressures.
As Xu Yang's interest in Chang'e's show grew, he found himself drawn not only to cooking but also to the aesthetics of the program. He admired the intricate designs and elegant costumes featured on the show, sparking a newfound passion for fashion design. In his spare time, he began sketching outfits inspired by Chang'e, creating his own line of merchandise that celebrated the goddess's grace and style.
Through this creative outlet, Xu Yang started to find a balance in his life. Fashion design offered him a way to express himself and connect with something he loved without the intense pressure of perfection. He realized that being a hero, whether in archery or in life, didn't mean sacrificing his well-being. It meant embracing his passions and finding joy in the journey, just as Chang'e's show brought joy to him.

Fionn Mac Cumhaill - Day 56
Race: Genma
Alignment: Light-Neutral
June 17th, 2024
Can you believe it guys? SMT V: Vengeance, just a... wait, it already came out? Damn, this joke doesn't work. Still, today we delve deeper into the hallowed hallows of Irish stories, examining a certain hero that has only one rival in terms of his popularity, which says a lot, given that rival is none other than Cu Chulainn; a legendary hunter-warrior who led the powerful army of warriors known as the Fianna, Fionn Mac Cumhaill. Infamous within the series for having one of the toughest boss fights in SMT V, Fionn actually is one of the most popular (and prominent) legendary figures in Irish folklore, and I'm frankly surprised it took this long for him to show up in the series.
Most of these Irish stories come in the forms of appearing in books called cycles- for one, the Ulster Cycle covers the exploits of Cú Chullain and Queen Medb, but in the case of Fionn Mac Cumhaill, one need not look further than another one of these books, that being the Fenian Cycle. The reasoning for this common naming scheme has actually been lost to time, so that's fun, but at least some people try to offer explanations. One that I enjoy actually comes from a Reddit post that purports that it may be because these tales 'cycle' around a certain character, like how the Fenian cycles around Fionn, or the Ulster cycles around Cú. That aside, though, these tales are notable from place to place for both providing context on Irish history itself as well as being great stand-alone stories in-and-of themselves.
One of these stories in the Fenian Cycle is entitled "The Boyhood Deeds of Fionn," originating as a fractured manuscript called Laud 610: folio 118Rb-121Va, though translations and added-on segments from other stories likely connected have led to the commonly accepted translation. Originally, Laud 610 was the only thing we had to work off of for Fionn Mac Cumhaill, a 14th century manuscript written in I believe Gaelic? The most recent translation we have to work off of, made up of translations, transliterations, and added-on segments, appears in a book written by Joseph Falaky Nagy called "The Wisdom of the Outlaw: Boyhood Deeds of Finn in Gaelic Narrative Tradition." In the story, it goes over the, well, exploits of Fionn Mac Cumhaill, starting with what else but his birth.
In the tale, it begins with the death of Fionn's father, Cumhall, who was the leader of the Fianna, a word used to effectively mean a band of hunter-warriors. Killed by his mortal enemy, Goll mac Morna, his unborn son and his wife Muirne were waiting for him, but upon Muirne learning of his death, she sent her son away as soon as he was born, fearing for his safety. This son's name was Demne, and whom he ended up with, a druiddess named Bodhmall, gave him the surname of Máel, his name effectively meaning "Stalwart shorthair druid." Bodhmall and her gal-pal Liath Luachra end up raising Demne to be a strong warrior, accompanying him on his myriad adventures, within one of which he gains his name, Fionn. After eating a salmon. We'll get to that. Given that he was just a kid, he had no real reason to be much of a fantastic warrior as of yet. However, the fates had different plans.
One day, while out hunting with a band of the Fianna, he'd come across a nice place to go fishing. While still known as Denme, aka being very young, he'd come across what was effectively a video game sidequest- a poet named Finnegas had spent years fishing in a nearby river to catch the mythical Salmon of Wisdom, as he had gotten a prophecy years back that he would eventually eat the salmon and gain all the world's wisdom. However, he had very poor luck. Denme, recognizing the frustration of the struggle, offered to help in going fishing. After a little while, the poet finally caught it! Recognizing the metaphorical good luck charm in Denme now by his side, he'd let the kid cook it.
While cooking the salmon, however, Fionn accidentally burned his thumb, to which he instinctively stuck it in his mouth... incidentally blessing himself with all the world's knowledge. Likely astonished by how dumb this kid was, Finnegas would give up, letting him have the entire rest of the salmon, now meaning that he could have access to the entire world's repository of knowledge... as long as he sucked his thumb. Yeahhh. Hilariously, this ability went on to be known as the "Thumb of Knowledge." I gotta wonder how Fionn felt when he got older and still had to do such an embarrassing ritual to access his strength.
As Fionn began to grow older, he grew accustomed to working under the services of many kingdoms, but when he'd mention his father's name- Cumhall- they'd send him away out of fear that they couldn't fight off his enemies. As it'd turn out, Cumhall was a massive fan of making foes, and was also a piece of work, to say the least, having abducted his wife and forced her to marry. Yikes. Thankfully, Fionn was far from his father in spirit, as shown when in future myths he ended up forgiving and even teaming up with Goll mac Morna. This story also ties into the Fomorians, but I'll leave you to look into that further yourself.
Several more myths surround Fionn, but this DDS is growing long, so I'll let you read them yourself. Trust me, they're a blast. A personal favorite of mine is that he never truly died- instead, he sealed himself into a cave to return when Ireland was at it's most dire moment. Given Irish history, I dread to think about what could happen next for Fionn to return (joke shamefully stolen from OSP's fantastic video on Fionn mac Cumhaill.) It's speculated that the reasoning for Fionn's biting of his thumb to access his pool of knowledge is actually connected to a belief in Fionn possibly being based on a real figure as well, though who this historical figure is is unknown- as the theory goes, he might've had a habit of biting his thumb while deep in thought. While this hypothesis has been offered time and time again, it's hard to pin down who exactly Fionn might have been.
In SMT, Fionn's design is honestly one of my favorite in the series, combining so many aspects of his character- his badass hunter-warrior look, druidic influences, his great blade, all the way down to one of his thumbs being covered in salmon-colored scales. I haven't played SMT V, unfortunately, but he appears as a rather infamous boss in the game with an utterly bumping theme, almost feeling like an anime character's theme track, which is very fitting, given Fionn's exploits. I can't wait to see this guy when I finally get my hands on Vengeance.

Okayokay, so at the time this au takes place, it's been about 5 years since the War of Eras and he has been promoted to the rank of General (like Impa I think) and is like a cool uncle figure to the knights in training.
Like most characterisations of hw Link (I'll call him 'Captain' because he would hate being so directly associated with the War), my guy has a shit ton of trauma that he's working through. For now I'm going to talk about the physical injuries he's had. Basically, at the start yk how Volga beats up this kid? Yeah, that's left a lot worse scarring. Like, Zuko from atla level scarring on his face, and it extends down onto his chest and the entirety of his right arm. As a result, the areas are either numb or he can't stand the feeling of anything rubbing against it (basing it on my own burn scar but anyways). Oh, and he's also got a massive scar across his throat from a messy attempted assassination. He only survived because of a fairy. Impa gifted him the scarf because he didn't want anyone to see the hero as someone that could be killed or scratched (completely ignoring the burn scars but he's a Link, he doesn't hold the triforce of wisdom).
Another thing is that when people found out that the War started over Cia wanting the Linkussy (I'm sorry) many harassed him and blamed everything on him, like to the point where people only ever saw him on the battlefield or sprinting back to his tent. Eventually it devolved into people saying the war wasn't worth fighting because he wasn't even beautiful (they said this because of his scars). At one point some soldiers managed to drug him until he was basically comatose and they snuck out in the middle of the night to deliver him to Cia and hopefully end the war.
He refuses to talk about what happened there. When he was eventually rescued, both of his legs were broken and he had Cia's name engraved in his back. Since then, touch has been difficult for him to accept.
Even after all that, he refused to turn bitter and still helped his teammates, even if they hated him, because he figured that if he was the hero then he needed to act like it before he was left to rot for being useless, or in case they decided they didn't need a hero.
How does toon Link and young oot Link play into this? They fought alongside everyone else, and were unofficially adopted as younger brothers by Captain. They were the only ones other than Impa and Sheik/Zelda allowed in his tent. He only took off the Hero mask around them because he refuses to lose who he was to who people expect him to be.
When the War finally ended, Captain slept for a week and woke up in the royal infirmary. He's lived in the Castle under royal protection ever since, because during the war somehow his home was destroyed and his family killed by monsters. This was retaliation after he was rescued from Cia.
Needless to say, Zelda got his twink ass in therapy. It's helped a lot, and now he can actually appear in front of people and take care of himself. He's still got a way to go, but now he can actually see a future for himself. Now he still works in the Hyrulean Military, but I don't know much about military stuff and it doesn't seem that interesting so cannot provide many details. But he's good friends with both Impa and Zelda and hopes to be a good influence on new recruits.
When my au happens, he's still depressed but he's functioning, and he serves as a lighthouse of sorts for the other Links. A person to talk to, someone to inspire them to keep going. The person he wishes he had when he was at his worst. He still refuses touch, but he shows love in other ways. Only Mask and Sailor really knows how it is a sign of just how much better he's gotten since the War, and they will stab anyone who badmouths him.
Side note: he's the only one who can get Mask to actually speak in this au.
Also, he isn't perfect. On his worst days, he can't stand the idea of anyone perceiving him and will have a full blown panic attack if touched by anything or he sees any eyes on him. Sometimes he accidentally lashes out at the other Links when they do something that unintentionally triggers him, and he believes they may betray him.
Anyway, I can't think of much more, sorry for the ungodly amount of text !!
(sorry i didn’t answer sooner i wanted to make sure i had the time read the whole thing)
I don’t think any of us are capable of giving this man a good time we all give him the worst life ever. DAMN. THIS POOR GUY (i say as if i treat him any better)
OUGH. im glad he got therapy 🥺

Hewwo as yall know this is my Rp blog where I do most of my bullshit with my scriblos!
It’s also my first time doing this so umm but a lil nice but aside from that! Here are
THA RULES!!! 💥
1. 18 to 21+ Rps since most of the topics that I’ll do are mixed but most of the time it’s normal. ButI want to be as flexible with the settings with the characters as I can but Mature topics are gonna appear so be careful! (Also I don’t want to interact with minors had very bad experiences with them)
2. NO ROMANCE, NO SHIPPING Unless ur a mutual friend of mine and we are consenting of this.
3. I prefer rping to be a semi literate multiple paragraph style. I'll try to adapt to the best of my ability but 10+ long paragraphs or short ones are a no for me like dawg.
4. I’m open to any type of roleplay! But please be considerate with me, and if there’s any shit ya want to pull in the RP we can discuss it in DMs for further details (so both parties can be on the same page).
5. I’m chill with Rping with Ocs! But I’ll start with a few Au characters and Ocs before I expand on more characters.
6. Please for Fucks sake be nice and non rude for fucks sake, I may take a while due to the bullshit I deal with most of the time.
7. Fandoms that I WILL NOT RP WITH: Anything created by Vivzipop, Celebrities/Real people, country/military shit, DSMP (Or any Minecraft related SMPs). And probably more cause I’m still thinking-
8. Series that I’m familiar : Megaman, Transformers, Pokemon, Steven universe, Digimon, Sonic, Spark the electric jester.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Character/Muses info-
Megaman X (Anchorage) He is a Reploid, a robot who can think feel and act on his own will. A member of the maverick hunters, he fights against mavericks. reploids who are a danger to society. He fights on and dreams of a Utopia of humans and reploids coexisting in peace. However he still despises fighting so at times he finds different ways to solve problems without violence. He currently runs a rehabilitation (a surprisingly successful) program of helping former mavericks (Who aren’t infected with the virus) and criminals to be reacquainted with society. Holding the belief of second chances, he’s currently married to Marty leader of the rose thorn pirate group for almost 50 years.

Ref:
Volnutt Caskett Light (Legends Reborn)- he's a Carbon, Biomechanical being with the ability to interfacing and changing their limbs with mechanical parts. He is a young adventurous digouter boy, who descends ruins to collect ancient artifacts and special crystals of energy called refractors. Who enjoys going on adventures, naive on aspects of the world and gets into mischief and Danger face first. but he holds a heart of gold. He loves his friends and family very much. He is, importantly, the Youngest Son of the ancient legend megaman X.
Xavier Light: Once upon a lifetime ago he was formally the legendary hero megaman x but now in this flooded world of no war, he is Xavier Light. The assistant of the renowned professor Barrell, aiding his research of Terra’s old civilizations. At the same time the Flutter’s caretaker, performing most domestic duties around the ship. A hardened yet gentle soul that at times provides wisdom and advice to those who need it, especially his youngest son Rock. Despite living a peaceful life Xavier is still a skilled warrior, but he would rather do diplomacy than fighting but when push comes to shove he’ll fight to the bitter end to keep his loved ones safe.
Note: Reborn!X is called Xavier and Anchorage!X is just named X they are are technically the same person but in different Timelines.
OC Verse:
Alice: Alice is a slime based alien being who explores the stars and medical assistance to those who are needed. A carefree mischievous individual who sought the curiosities to different worlds and what she could learn from it. Despite her duty she’s often dropped into the antics of others curious to see how it goes. She enjoys causing a lil bit of mayhem to entertain herself but still committing to her duty of supporting individuals on her travels. Often she enjoys the thrill of adventure and is surprisingly combative despite her status as a medic.
#Yeah more characters but I’ll start small with 4#technically there are 2 version of the same guy LMAO-

The Poor Man who Saved the City
Artist: Evelyn De Morgan (English, 1855-1919)
Date: 1901
Medium: Oil on Canvas
Collection: De Morgan Collection, United Kingdom
Description:
In this painting a poor man sits dejectedly, whilst behind him the people of the city, bedecked in bright coloured robes celebrate its salvation. There are brambles at the feet of the poor man, symbolising the thorns and pains of his life as a poor man, compared to the richness behind him. At the poor man's feet is a book, open to a passage from Ecclesiastes, which forms part of the Poetical Book and Writings in the Old Testament. The verse is as follows:
“There was a little city and few men within it, and there came a great king against it and besieged it, and built great bulwarks against it. Now there was found a poor wise man; and he by his wisdom delivered the city; but not one remembers the same poor man. So I said: Wisdom is better than might; yet the poor mans wisdom is despised and his words are not heeded”.
Unlike conquering heroes who are feted vy society, this diplomat has been forgotten by the very citizens whom he has saved from the terrors of war. He provides a contrast to the young soldiers in Our Lady of Peace and Victoria Dolorosa who have won military honours but hollow victories.
The Poor Man who saved the City was painted towards the end of the Boer War, when public support for the campaign was dwindling as reports of the atrocities spread and scepticism over the validity and justness of the British Government's stance began to be heavily questioned. The subject matter of the painting can therefore be read as a clear statement that Evelyn had by this point lost confidence in military solutions to international conflicts and it is a reflection of Evelyn’s emerging spiritualist and pacifist beliefs; illustrating the danger of worldliness and valuing possession to the detriment of one’s soul as well as the pacifist view that wisdom, not force is the way to peace.

𝕲𝖔𝖎𝖓𝖌 𝕽𝖊𝖉 Big post about my sarentu oc
With release of 1.03 update I decided to start a new game and came up with a final design of my ikran and my sarentu boy, at last (you can't even imagine how many times I changed their appearance). Anyway, Zandar is still Zandar. He's the only character I feel comfortable with, his face type, etc. Ikran is final as well (red is my favourite). Now we are truly bonded, lol I beat the game at least 2 times and Pandora still won't let me go. The world is so beautiful I can't. I'm sure many of you will understand. By this point I had already thought of Zandar's personality. I want to share with you my thoughts about his personal characteristics and his relationship with other Sarentu kids. I'll use some old screenshots you might have already seen !!! WARNING, big amount of text and some SPOILERS for those who haven't played yet !!! 𝙼𝚎𝚎𝚝 𝙵𝚞𝚛𝚢 𝚉𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚊𝚛'𝚜 𝚒𝚔𝚛𝚊𝚗
𝚉𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚊𝚛, 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚆𝚊𝚛𝚛𝚒𝚘𝚛 My imagination is so sad to be honest, yet I wanted to add a little bit of personality to my boy instead of sending the same endless screenshots. I really love to read about others original characters tho and it is inspiring. Zandar feels so ordinary compared to them. The only thing I can say about him in general is that I imagine him not being that shy and unconfident in his behaviour like the main hero of the story sometimes, and he's not that diplomatic and kind as them too. Less patient, more impulsive in his actions, but he's honest, a straightforward person.
Nah, Zandar is not some kind of "badass guy". He's simple, maybe not that much mysterious and interesting for someone, and I like it this way. Somewhere deep inside he's just as hurt as Nor is, but he's much better in hiding it and instead of pouting Zandar prefers to act. Peaceful Sarentu ways of solving problems it is something Zandar does not understand yet.
𝚉𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚊𝚛 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚁𝚒'𝚗𝚎𝚕 tandem of brute strength and elegance
Ri'nela is his mental safe harbour. In their chatter he finds comfort. He admires her wisdom, optimism and hope for the future of the Sarentu clan. He believes in her, trusts her, and wants her to become a tsahik one day. Therefore, he provides her mental support, shares the burden of leading people, offers any help that she may need, though she never asks, being stubborn and proud in her own way. Zandar even started to think that perhaps he has developed romantic feelings for Ri'nela after all, yet even the single thought about that itself is already enough to scare him away. He believes that Ri'nela is too good and kind for such hardened person like him. She's such a pure soul in his eyes. Zan is not even sure if his feelings can be mutual, because Ri'nela has always been soft with him, so the poor guy doesn't want to bother her. The irony of the situation is that he has no fear of battle, but is afraid to show what's going on in his own heart. He doesn't have the right words and has a hard time imagining himself in any kind of relationship to be honest. This is why Zandar understands Anqa's feelings so well and gladly helped her with Priya.
𝚉𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚊𝚛 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚂𝚘'𝚕𝚎𝚔 RDA's nemesis
Growing up among humans, Zandar quickly realized that RDA understand only language of power. No peace with those who want to take your home and kill Pandora's wildlife for fun and trophies. Ahari's death made Zandar even more ferocious and extremely cruel, especially towards RDA. No surprises here. He does not remember his own father, but he found shadow of him in So'lek. Almost every day they hunt down RDA soldiers together, including those who were involved in extinction of So'lek's clan. Young boy loves to listen stories of an older warrior about his journey, sitting by the campfire and drinking zangke. He is on the same level of thinking as So'lek, so they both agree on a lot of things.
𝚉𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚊𝚛 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚃𝚎𝚢𝚕𝚊𝚗 older, younger
One of those things, for example, is Teylan's inner desire to please humans, especially Mercer. After everything they have witnessed at TAP, Teylan's "obedient dog" behaviour made Zandar sick. RDA humans understand only language of power. Still, he loves Teylan like his own brother and after Mercer's defeat he tries his best to help him feel more na'vi, to find his own way among their people using the example of Kametire, but sometimes he's too harsh with Teylan. Anufi and Okul help them a lot. And under Solek's small guidance, Zandar teaches Teylan to hunt and fight. When Teylan is ready (and if he wants to do it), Zandar will help him to make a bond with his own ikran among those who flies Clouded Forest skies.
𝚉𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚊𝚛 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝙽𝚘𝚛 the lost one
Common grief unites injured souls. Zandar, his sister Ahari and Nor were always very close, because they had the same thoughts about human "culture and civilization". After Ahari's death Nor and Zan became even closer friends. Boys shared a deep respect for each other and stronger than ever before, they were both determined that they should not let RDA erase their na'vi identity and destroy their home.
Not a single day goes by without Zandar thinking about Nor. He misses him and often wonders where he could have gone. Zandar decided that when things at headquarters were more or less sattled he would go on a journey to find his best friend.
Zandar is very protective of their little Sarentu family. The bond these kids share is the only weakness he has, but in the same time it is his biggest strength. So he'll keep fighting for all of them, for their future. In the name of Ahari and mother, Kataru. For the only home he has, for Pandora.

HERO REBORN
Prologue - The Tale of Hyrule
The Tale of Hyrule
In the centuries long gone, the Kingdom of Hyrule was founded around the light of the mystical Triforce.
Although why it came to the people has been forgotten, its three pieces have been the guides of the land.
The Triforce of Wisdom brought order and law, carried by royalty.
The Triforce of Power gifted them with unfathomable strength.
The Triforce of Courage, although hidden away, provided an era of life and peace.
With Hyrule's leaders possessing the pieces of Wisdom and Power, as well as knowledge of the third's hiding place, they were seen as a beacon among the kingdoms of the earth. It was often that they were turned to in times of dire need.
…
Unbeknownst to them all, however, a wicked creature lurked in envy– meticulously staging its own calamity.
One fearful night, the moon went awash with blood and the earth trembled.
From the quaking stone, darkness spiraled free. It formed into a horrible beast of Hylian legend… The Demon King, Ganon.
With an army of monsters at his tail, Ganon devastated all in his path. He rampaged to Hyrule Castle, stealing the Triforce of Power from the king and vanquishing him with its uncontrollable might.
With this, Hyrule was plunged into an era of decline.
…But the Triforce of Wisdom was missing.
Although the King did not heed her warning of the events to come, the young Princess of Hyrule stole the Triforce of Wisdom from its chamber in preparation for Ganon's arrival.
By the time the monster had reached her, he could only witness as she shattered the piece into fragments– sending them out into the horizon.
A torturous fate awaited the child, but she did not cave. She knew she had already set an unforeseen destiny into motion.
As she had hoped, a servant had escaped the castle and located a child with boundless courage. Despite his age, the boy braved the monster-ridden regions and slayed whatever creature came in his way. He restored the Triforce of Wisdom and used his built strength to destroy Ganon once and for all.
The young Princess deemed the boy a hero, but knew what Ganon had caused could not be undone. She was forced to take the throne of her late father. Even so, her hero stayed by her side.
When the two grew up, they went on to rebuild the Kingdom of Hyrule and return prosperity to all.
To this day, their legend lives on.
To this day, Hyrule heals.
Update:
Hi! I did not forget this amongst my other projects! However, since the comic is taking some time, I decided to put the story in novelized form as well like I did over on my Untold Myths blog.
Chapter 1 - The Boy's Left Hand
About:
Hero Reborn is a fan reimagining of The Adventure of Link. If you are interested in reading more, the pinned post of this blog has further information.
(#loz hero reborn)
Obligatory Disclaimers:
I, quite obviously, don't own LoZ II: The Adventure of Link. This is simply a fancomic that serves as a loose narrative adaptation of the game, which has little storyline beyond the backstory given by the manual. It is meant to function similarly to the LoZ mangas (which you should read at the next opportunity) and doesn't entirely operate within canon. I wanted to tell a story from one of my favorite games in light of newer installments. You will find a lot of differences between the story and the game itself, but also similarities for obvious reasons. For instance, this Link is a reincarnation of the Hero of Hyrule, rather than the same boy. But this is all just for fun and isn't meant to be taken too seriously. I highly recommend you play the original game, too! It was my first LoZ game and holds a special place in my obsessions. :)

Plotting out "Weaver" (Disney movie)
You can check out my post on the fanmade Disney Reinvention era from which this is based here. (Disclaimer: this is probably the hardest idea I've had to brainstorm. I apologize in advance if I misconstrued Micronesian culture; I used Chamorro names for the humans, but the gods have names I just made up.)
Background (Let's assume "Moana 2" is successful or I may have to edit this, lol.") Given that "Moana" is the highest-grossing Disney princess movie--not adjusted for inflation--and has received love for it's positive representation, Disney opts to make another Pacific Islander story. They hire Taiki Waititi to co-write and co-direct the film with Jared Bush. Early on, it becomes very apparent that Disney is trying to craft another "Moana," pushing for another Polynesian story. However, they eventually feel Disney's pressure to copy their successful Pacific Island film, and opt to go in a different direction, covering Micronesian cultures instead. They manage to get Disney to lay off when they remind Disney that Micronesia and Polynesia are both Austronesian cultures and thus have some similarities. The two directors personally visit Guam, Kiribati, and the Federated States of Micronesia, as well as doing independent research on other Micronesian lands. Disney also brings over the team of Opetaia Foa'i, Mark Mancina, and Lin-Manuel Miranda--again, to replicate "Moana," but the team thankfully refuses to make a carbon copy. The animation also opts for the painter-y style used for "Sweetheart," and Minkyu Lee provides the concept art and general art direction. While originally planning to make a musical circling around the male protagonist, execs interfered again, knowing that the Disney princess line is their most profitable aspect, so the protagonist was changed to female. Certain tweaks to the film were made, again to make the film similar to it's Polynesian counterpart. One notable change was the protagonist going from well-rounded to having a thinner body type, with Disney concerned that they'd receive accusations of racism, similar to when they depicted Maui as having a more obese build.
Plot
(Plot used for visual aid; not entirely sure if it's AI or not)
In the beginning, the king of the sky created five worlds, and one of them was the world of humans, and they were all connected in a cosmic web. But one day, the trickster god sought to disturb the balance of the worlds, untangling the web until the worlds began to collide and clash, fated for eventual destruction. Only a hero filled with strength and compassion can dispel the chaos and bring order back to the worlds.
Characters
Chirika--A young woman tasked with connecting the threads of Isaulo (based on the Truk sky god of wisdom and magic, Anulap, and Nareau, the spider god of creation from the Gillbert Islands). She is shy and uncertain, but with the guidance of the gods of the seas and stars, she ventures to travel to various lands and tether them back to their place in the cosmic web with the help of her mother's spirit and a spider that's a servant of Isaulo.
Hirao--The second son of the chief and an object of affection for Chirika (one he reciprocates, but his higher social standing prevents her from acting on it; the film doesn't explicitly say this, but there are hints of affection between them), he is a dreamer who is renound for his heavily spiritual visions. He sneaks away to join Chirika on her journey, reasoning that having someone who can see the future is kind of important on a divinely appointed journey.
Kilimaed--Trickster god who untethered the 5 worlds, he dances in the chaos that came about from different beings colliding and the carnage that could come from it. That said, despite being a god in his own right, he has certain rules he must abide by; chaos cannot live without order, after all. As is his nature, he seeks to decieve and manipulate, but if Chirika can outsmart him at his own game, she may hold the key to unifying the worlds once more.
Songs
Web of Life--The introductory story about how Isaulo created the five worlds: the human world, the world of merpeople, the world of the gods, the world of the giants, and the world of the dead. While these lands had their own strengths and harmonies, eventual discord led to the conflation of worlds, creating turmoil.
Never Be Like You--Chirika's mother's spirit visits her, and she believes perhaps she is meant to be the one to reunify the worlds. However, the village looks down on her due to her sheepish nature, and doubt she has the mettle for such a task.
The Spider's Vision--Hirao has a vision about the rebuilding of the worlds, but only if a warrior with great strength and compassion does so. Many people attempt to take up the task, but have died, been imprisoned, or never returned to lacking the mental, emotional, or physical strength required to complete various tasks.
I Cannot Lie--Kilimaed visits Chirika when she's in the land of the mermaids and offers to make a deal with her: he will find Isaulo and ask him to reinstate the order of the worlds, but only if Chirika herself breaks the web immediately after. Confused, Chirika rejects his deal.
Divine Expectations--When Chirika discovers that Isaulo has been imprisoned in Kilimaed's domain to prevent him rebuilding the worlds, she realizes Kilimaed's odd deal: as the a human, Chirika breaking the threads the make the cosmic web will have no affect, but no one but Isaulo knows this, and Kilimaed wanted her to arouse the anger of the gods and take the blame for his crimes.
Never Be Like You (Reprise)--Chirika returns home a hero, and she rejoices in who she is, glad that it allowed her to save the worlds without having to compromise her identity.
Hope you enjoyed it--even if it's heavily "Moana"-coded. Lemme know if you have any questions about this or my other Reinvention Era posts. "Khoeli" is up next!

Mythical au all main cast backstory(I never update
Sunny- the only second natural vampire, and the last vampire living in his world, he killed all his kind. His wealth came from his dad and mari, big castle , staying inside all day creating art work alone. Knowledgeable but dense, if he feeling better and less self loathing, he’s quite innocent and play like a child. Accident accept basil as his resident and basil just never die or left. Which they grew close and don’t want to let each other go when they get comfortable with each other. Best friend with Kel, crush on Aubrey. Main reason he didn’t kill him self because he doesn’t want to let mari down, or let mari to get forgotten. In this world human with life can use magic, which means vampire won’t suppose to use it but sunny can, yet he is quite awful with it.
Aubrey - expert in magic, born from a witch , a gifted child with a terrible childhood. Spiritually worshipped mari to continue living, her body is dying but he vowed to restore Mari’s glory before letting herself die . Dose not believe(not like sunny wold tell her either) sunny mistake, blame mankind for Mari’s misfortune even though in history witch and human are equally guilty of Mari’s death. See herself in the monster side of campaign and gather many mythical creatures to bring back what humans took from them. Friend with kel, it’s complicated, very unstable character ooc and overly smart in this au (on part with hero) . Favor sunny a lot
Kel- many reasons he was outcast from normal society, growing up with mythical creatures, get into Sunny’s territory on accident and start following Basil because love of first sight. Want to marry basil (because he’s kinda simple minded sometimes). Seeing basil care a lot about sunny, he starts took care of sunny too. Because very good friends and told him about his brother is a very well known doctor and offers to help mari. He’s always more like messenger or mail man for Aubrey.
Hero- growing up with a cursed body that he suffered many half transformation due to his half blood . He became a doctor for himself to stop the pain, after years he became stable and get a high paying job in the national security to provide aid and research of creatures.
