do you ever just sit in the Sukkah and stare at the stars and think “Wow, this is what my ancestors did?” do you ever say a prayer and think about the generations before who said the same words that have just left your lips? do you ever shake the Lulav and Etrog and think about how even when the Etrog dries up and the leaves on the Lulav fall off of their stem, there will be new ones year after year after year?
because I just did. our religion is ancient and our religion is not going away. goyim will not erase us and antisemites will not disgrace us.
we are here. we will always be here.

Native jewish miku 2.0
i really liked the trend so i wanted to try more dress ideas with more embroidery ideas i had. In this one i have a small explanation on the patterns on her dress
Don't mind the different style i am still finding myself i don't have oen consistent artstyle😭
The explanation about the clothes can be seen in my previous miku art and ofc it can't be jewish if there isn't some hebrew.
On the dress i wrote : am israel hai which means "the israel nation lives" (aka jews)
On the background i wrote: shiviti hashem lenegdi tamid which means "I have set G-d before me always"
Here is the background+the patterns on her dress:
Here is a small charts of what is each one:
Side note on "road to canaan": it was a concept a friend of mine had and i gave it life. The swirls represent the israelites walking in the dessert for 40 years and 'getting lost' and the flower is the "star of canaan" or what later became the "flower/star of bethlehem" that was spread worldwide to the world by the crusades and is a big part of the embroidery in a lot of places such as the arab palestinians (mainly), ukranians and more

Zionists want you to conflate Judaism and Zionism. Zionists want you to believe that Judaism cannot exist without Zionism and that all Jews are Zionists. Zionism would have Jews believe that a Jewish state is the only way that they can be safe from antisemitism and will point to any instance of antisemitism as proof that Zionism is the solution- so Zionism wants gentiles to be antisemitic in their support of Palestine. They want you to conflate all Jews with Zionism and the state of Israel, and they want you to treat all Jews regardless of political affiliation as the face of Israel. Antizionist Jews exist, and incidences of antisemitism ostensibly acting against Zionism will not help dismantle the forces propping Zionism up.
Don't do their work for them.
#red rambles#viva palestina#antizionism#i haven't actually seen a lot of antisemitism personally. not recently anyway. but that's more a feature of me not following antisemites#i DO however see a lot of people talking about the people they're seeing throw their support behind antisemites using palestine#as an excuse to conflate all jews with israel#and i cannot stress enough that that is literally what israel and zionist forces abroad WANT.#i am jewish. my entire family is jewish. i want to see palestine free. and i have SEEN how the jewish community gets conflated with israel#both from the inside and out#and i am dead serious when i say that every time someone is antisemitic it strengthens the conviction from people abroad#that it's a terrible sad situation but there's 'no other choice'#if you're being antisemitic you are doing the enemy's work for them. Stop it.#like... look. i am putting this in the tags bc im talking in the tags but i mean this. I do not give a single flying fuck if you personally#are a giant raging antisemite at the moment. Your personal beliefs are your problem and not mine. I do not fucking care. But if you are#being openly and loudly antisemitic *in your support of palestine* you are absolutely not fucking helping. I am so dead serious right now#if you want to raise awareness and you're being antisemitic because of deep held beliefs or whatever i want you to look around and read the#fucking room. Do you understand how much of Israel's international support comes from the idea that they are the only country where jews ar#safe from antisemitism? do you see how every time palestine comes up people point at incidences of antisemitism in anti-genocide actions to#discredit the entire movement? do you not understand how your actions are cutting the movement down at the knees?#i'm jewish and proud of it. i don't like antisemitism. but there's a genocide on and i'd rather work against it than quibble over who i#work alongside. i dont fucking care. you can be as antisemitic as you like in private. stop fucking the movement up.#there are bigger things to worry about here. if i can put aside my own concerns as to who i'm talking to you can hold your tongue#and fight the good fight instead of handing weapons to the people who are trying to fucking flatten gaza.

Here's your daily reminder that...
Jews are only 0.2% of the worlds population but...
Jews make up 14% of the World Total and 38% of the United States of America total winners for the Nobel Prize for Literature (source).

Who's ready for the "I don't celebrate Christmas" three times a day?
Basically, every year when it comes to Christmas, I (fairly conservatist & religious jew, at least for my area) end up answering the question "What are you doing for Xmas" or "what are you most excited for during Xmas?" about 1-2 times a day.
My answers:
I don't celebrate
I'm gonna celebrate Hannukah :) !! (then they say, "hanukkah and xmas? I say 'no'. they don't believe me OR I get a dirty look)
If you know someone is Jewish, stop asking them what they're doing for Xmas! You know they probably aren't, so please, please, please stop, it's so uncomfortable + awkward.

So uh… to the “pro-Palestine” crowd
- harassing random jews on the streets (and online) isn’t going to help Palestinians
- swarming and blockading college campus buildings (and hospitals) and chanting genocidal slogans at jews isn’t going to help Palestinians
- defacing synagogues and jewish owned stores isn’t going to help Palestinians
- displaying antisemitic signs and waving nazi flags isn’t going to help Palestinians
- chanting for intifada isn’t going to help Palestinians (Hamas would love that though)
- spreading Hamas propaganda isn’t going to help Palestinians
This doesn’t help Palestinians- but it sure does help Hamas who’s goal is to wipe out Israel and all jews. Also Hamas could care less for Palestinians- why do you think they are being used as human shields???
Doing all of these things makes you antisemitic (some of y’all were probably already antisemitic, and is using the I/P conflict to go fully unmasked). You doing this is causing harm to so many people. And to be honest- doing this shit shows that you actually don’t care for Palestine. In fact you are using this conflict to go fully unmask and be raging antisemitic little asshats.
Instead of doing something that could help those who are affected by this war, you are harassing jews, defacing synagogues, and calling for intifadas. Why is that? (I know the answer- but humor me). Why is this acceptable? How does harassing and harming jews help Palestine? And how does supporting Hamas (a terrorist organization) help Palestine?
Also I may get hate for this but I don’t care: anti Zionism is antisemitism. The term anti Zionist was created during the soviet era by one of the soviet leaders. The Soviet Union hated jews and wanted to stamp them all out. One of the ways that they “succeeded” was “persuading” jews that their culture and religion was dirty. That they- the jews should be ashamed of their “Jewishness”. And that was how anti Zionism came to be.
I said what I said. If you don’t like it then maybe you have some thinking to do.
Also as another fucking reminder:
Stop fucking spreading vile antisemitic shit (and stop harassing Israel citizens) !!! This includes:
- blood libels
- organs harvesting
- holocaust denial
- “hitler was right”
- “gas the jews”
- lizard people
- “jews are rats”
- “jews are rich”
- “jews control the media”
- “jews are landlords”
- the majority of conspiracy theories
- Zionist occupied government
- Zionism is racism
- stop fucking reading protocols of the elders of Zion
- “from the river to the sea…” is a genocidal chant.
- stop calling Israel a “terrorist” state and stop saying that all Israelis are terrorist (people are not their fucking government)
(Just to list a few)
I said what I said and if you don’t like it- the doors over there.
Am yisrael chai! ✡️

Today, my school's Chabad held a Jewish joy/pride festival right in the middle of campus. They set up a bunch of booths with Jewish activities. There was a booth for braiding challah, making bracelets with our Hebrew names, various Jewish pride stencils to spray paint Chabad shirts. There were tables to pick up shabbat candle kits or wrap teffilin. Jewish music played loudly (but without disturbing nearby classes of course) and people were dancing along to songs like Am Yisrael Chai, I'm a Jew and I'm Proud, Very Narrow Bridge, and other blatantly Jewish songs.
Most of my friends and I couldn't stop smiling. This spot in campus where just last year people were shouting for the destruction of our homeland and our families and us, after nearly a year of being shamed for our Jewish pride and being told we shouldn't be proud, and so much time spent on a campus filled with hate, we were bringing joy back to campus.
I feel like most of my latest posts have been fairly negative. It's hard not to write my heavy heart onto the screen, especially after the murder of Hersh and the other hostages, and just everything going on overall. But this festival reminded me of how much power Jewish joy holds.
If you're feeling upset about the war, I'm with you. Few days go by without tears shed or pain felt. But remember that being Jewish is infinitely more than antisemitism and loss. Being Jewish is joy, and it is pride. We are our ancestors' wildest dreams, we are all miracles, and we cannot forget this for a single moment.
Be joyful in a world filled with sorrow, and bring light with you wherever you go.

I saw a particular antisemite on this website say that it was hilarious that we (filthy Zionists) say the same things over and over again in a massive echo chamber and have our own tags
Okay
Have you considered that we say the same ten things over and over again because y'all don't learn the first hundred times?
Have you considered that it can't be an echo chamber with y'all forcing your way into our tags with antisemitic shit constantly?
And that those tags pre-dated you all finding out that you hate Jews?
And that we use those tags to talk to each other which is part of why you all doing that to us is so fucked up?
Just a thought
