Recently I’ve been getting anons and comments doubting the validity of some of the stories I tell on here. There’s nothing I can do to convince you that the stories I tell on here are completely genuine. All I can say is that they really are. I only post the wackiest, most interesting or funny stories of my life on here. You don’t get much of the boring day to day stuff.

Truth is, I come from a very long line of crazy people. When my dad was in med school he and some friends planted a small homemade bomb in an abandoned bathroom at their university. His roommate stole a pancreas from the corpse lab and put it in a girl’s backpack. The entire med school was suspended because no one owned up to it. My uncle would sneak out at night with my grandma’s car and she’d find out because she’d check the mileage and see it’d gone up, so my uncle started driving her car backwards since that didn’t increase the mileage. He got arrested driving her car backwards on the highway to another town. My uncle would steal my grandpa’s shotgun, tell his friends to jump in the pool, and start firing it randomly at the backyard. My cousin genuinely had two weed smoking girlfriends who were also girlfriends with each other. My great uncle had an affair exposed by having his intimate photos and videos with his mistress sent to the family groupchat by people who stole his phone, all because they were salty that my aunt told them to go fuck themselves when they messaged her asking for money. My aunt took out all her life savings and moved to another state to build a bunker because she believes the apocalypse is coming, and she didn’t even take any of her children. I don’t know how to tell you this, but life is just stranger than fiction sometimes. The sample size of life stories you get on my blog are just the instances in which that’s true.

Emmet's 10 heart event consists of taking the farmer on a date to Nimbasa and we do have a trip to Anville Town planned as a station repair event (after unlocking the subway)! We posted this earlier, but you'll meet Cilan in Anville Town.

I wouldn't say Unova is exactly a small place to explore though ^^;;

If I do add it as a map you could freely explore (via the Train Station mod, of course!), I'm worried about if people would expect to be able to do things other than walk around (and waste precious daylight before you pass out at 2...). It's just a lot of walking space!

Outside of events (your guided tour with submas!), the Unova maps are mostly there for the novelty of it all. You would be wandering around aimlessly in New York. It's not like you should go around chopping down trees or start swinging around a sword at Pokemon. There's no real incentive to go there gameplay-wise. Unovans don't exactly care about the farmer as a tourist either.

But eh... If we do end up making Anville Town an accessible location, don't expect to be able to barge into other people's homes

this is just a me thing but i find i cant much ingest content about bad alien races or whatever where the premise is like. the main character drops down on a planet and has to deal with the violent alien race because first off. you are a visitor to that planet if you come in there and they dont exactly want you there i can reason why the aliens would be aggressive. two i was spoiled by outer wilds so at this point the ''these people on a different planet want you DEAD'' plot in most sci fi just makes me yawn. like just go somewhere else then thats their home after all

There are warnings that the trees injured or killed by the recent ice storm may come crashing down or drop damaged parts. We're being told to collect firewood if we have a fireplace, fuel for propane tanks, batteries, non-perishables, medical supplies, warm clothes, and clean water because we may lose power and water.

what psd did you use for your interview with the vampire gifs? if you don’t mind sharing! it’s gorgeous!

I don't mind at all! For IWTV I made a psd from another one that I used as a base, but I changed up a lot of the layer properties. The main guide I used for it was this tutorial, but my approach is a bit different in terms of changing the properties for Selective Color Red. The biggest issue with coloring scenes in the show is that almost all lighting (save for the Dubai scenes) is yellow, so that will obviously be reflected on the characters throughout. In order to avoid over-saturating skin tones, I'd recommend adjusting the Selective Color Layer properties, and maybe using Color Balance Layer to neutralize the yellow a bit by switching the value over to Blue. Usually I would add a negative value to the Cyan property on Red for Selective Color in order to highlight the color, but for this show I don't think that is necessary. Another problem is the difference in lighting and Vibrance when it comes to how your gif may look on a computer screen vs the tumblr app. I have this issue every time I make gifs for IWTV because the gifs will look fine on my computer, but then look slightly over-saturated on the app. So I'd suggest going for a middle-ground in some way when coloring scenes. Also, dark lit scenes can be a literal pain to color and it's very hard to brighten them up without ruining the overall look of the scene. Brightness-Contrast and Curves layers can help you out a lot, here. The Curves layers I use are pretty simple, so I adjust the Contrast by using a Gradient Map in order to not lose the shadows in scenes, but you can easily adjust the curve with two or more points and emphasize the contrast through it, if you'd like. Here's the PSD. This one looks good for most past scenes, but for the Dubai ones, I'd highly recommend that you get rid of some of the Levels/Brightness layers because all Dubai scenes are better lit, and they're all with LED lighting, so the issue that you'd normally have with neutralizing the yellow in past scenes is the opposite here. I'd recommend maybe adding more Vibrance for these scenes and adjusting the Selective Color Red properties here, so that none of the characters (particularly Louis and Armand) look washed out, and getting rid of the Color Balance layers or using it with different properties. Hope this helps!

I think we're perhaps confusing UltraMegaCorpSuperMonopolySuperPAC capitalism, a terrible and destructive offshoot of capitalism, with all forms of capitalism

This is as opposed to all property held in trust by the government/community and allocated on a needs basis

There's no pure capitalism or pure socialism or pure communism that works ideally, cuz humans gonna human. There are pros to capitalism (I like having personal property. So do many others) and massive cons when it's left unchecked (hello wealth concentration so that 1% of Americans have more wealth than...(hold on while I google it) the entire American middle class. Estimates I'm seeing:

Bottom 20% (low income) Americans hold 3% of American wealth while the middle 60% hold 26% and the top 1% hold 26.5% usatoday 2023)

Bottom 50% hold 2.6%, 50-90% hold 30.7%, 90-99% hold 36.3%, 99-99.9% hold 16.6%, top 0.1% hold 14% (bankrate.com 2024)

Note that wealth =/= income. Wealth is owning assets--real property (real estate, land, housing), stock market investments, even your health/life...technically this is all inside parentheses so let's close that shall we)

Anywho, call the problem by the right name. It's economic inequality (both wealth inequality and income inequality) that's the biggest issue.

I fucking hate this "capitalism is when you make money, the more money you make, the more capitalism it is" mindset people have gotten. No, an artist selling their own work is not them engaging in capitalism, it's literally a worker owning their own means of production.

Remember capitalism is someone profiting off of someone else's labor though owning capital. It is not simply the act of profiting at all.

honestly as much as i love him cannibal gregor feels incredibly undertuned... his actual damage numbers are fine enough ig but his coins are so low (his skill 3 only manages to get a NINE if everything rolls heads) and his bleed and paralyze application is so low that even if he does pull out a clashing miracle he lacks synergy for the units he theoretically should synergize the most with (cannibal ryōshū + kurokumo hong lu) so he honestly feels like one of the weakest units in the game rn... the only thing he really has going for him is his passives which are both pretty good and easy to maintain w/ a proper team setup but other than that... i can only imagine that they wanted to avoid making this unit too good considering it's his first dedicated bleed unit and it has gluttony on it so it'll contribute to easy legerdemain spam decently well but i honestly just don't know if that's enough to dedicate a slot on a team for over g corp gregor in most instances since g corp would have pretty good bleed output w/ proper legerdemain support anyway
