when me and my friends were having a very nonsensical convo about putting limbus characters on tierlists based on "how competitive would they be in mario kart", etc. and just having random projmoon convos a couple of days ago, we made a crackduo of argalia and netzach because netzie has the same va as thelma and liwei. Like you know. The guy who argalia killed and the guy that argalia sent to kill himself in the library. we found this shit to be hilarious and eventually the whole netzach+argalia duo became an inside joke but. y'know i don't think it's a joke anymore because i am obsessed with the idea of drawing these two in random scenarios

In light of the recent Limbus shitshow, are you still gonna finish up library of runia or are you just done with Projmoon?
Well I can't refund it so the least I can do is play it - but I don't plan on publishing my lobcorp video that's about 2-3 hours long for the time being. I probably won't resume streaming Ruina however.
It leaves a bad taste in my mouth if people would use a labour of love of mine to say "hey look there's something good here", I know there is something good there - but the CEO and his unquestionably stupid decisions makes the game impossible to talk about. I'm gonna be honest as far as boycotts go you and I probably know people who play league, overwatch or cod or something (maybe) or play something from a company with just as bad of practices that are either not as publicised or simply too far in the past for people to care.
I don't expect people to boycott nor do I think it's the bare minimum standard, people I know, especially those with larger platforms refuse to post about it even if they do play it or still keep up with it but yeah it's basically branded as a game now because of the controversy.
The thing about boycotts a lot of the time and I know this will be kind of bizarre to hear but I think they're very aesthetic in nature in that a lot of people usually clamour for them when they have less stakes in the matter so it's much easier to put pressure on others to do something they would not do for League (Riot Games), or Overwatch (Activision Blizzard).
This exact scenario has actually arisen with people talking about the game in that way and honestly it's not even like a what-aboutism kind of thing it's like, people really do not truly care about the ethics of the situation a lot of the time and many others simply do not know when they make their game-playing decisions, so it's really difficult to get mad about in most cases. That said, this game is niche enough where people probably know, but I wont assume their reasons for playing. Some people, however, are reveling in the backlash about the game bc they're not real fans or something for being upset about seemingly capitulating to reactionaries. This exchange I saw earlier honestly boggled my mind lmao - when the dog whistle is loud as fuck.
Tumblr media
We don't have the complete facts, but unlike the nuance enjoyers on youtube & twitter that doesn't automatically mean I'm obligated to financially support a company because I obviously am concerned about the broader company and their job security.
On one hand it makes me frustrated beyond all belief that the decision makers (because lets be real falsely assigning blame to the artists, programmers, writers etc. at pmoon that aren't in a decision making role) are stupid that their art has to be undermined. Yeah, I don't doubt that there is more to the situation but if you make a tweet saying "we didn't do shit and we will sue u lol" and then announce a new banner the next day of course people are going to think you're a slimy company.
I'll put it like this anon: I might enjoy LCorp & Ruina privately at the very least, but Limbus is probably the most embarassing piece of media to be openly associated with, especially when you have people reveling in that a lot of women & lgbt+ members are going to be "filtered out" of the company by what they're reductively describing as "drama". Whether people boycott or not is up to them, but I'm waiting to see if they just brush it aside and pretend like nothing happened over time - I won't spend or post about the game, but I expect we won't actually see a genuine resolution until Canto IV ends and they realized that they didn't actually net anything from firing the artist or capitulating to an audience that will just as soon threaten their financial stability the moment they're validated for having achieved this outcome once before.
It's completely embarassing to be an open project moon fan right now, and honestly I could care less whose comfort media it is, I don't really care what they post or like - for me personally, this ordeal is so shameful that a video I worked hundreds of hours on is probably never seeing the light of day. That's about the gist of how I feel about how icky it is to even bother talking about their games. Fanart is one thing I guess, maybe I'll rb some from time to time, but honestly yeah I don't feel like making anything PMoon related pretty much until we have clear cut facts and if we never get it then yeah I'll just make peace with the reality and stop caring about Project Moon.
To answer your overall question, I probably won't bother making anything anything content wise for the game or even bother talking about it outside of DMs with my friends because yeah it's pretty much embarassing as fuck to even associated with this world. I think the art here is good, in terms of its writing & the artstyles of each of the games, I respect what is made there - but unfortunately we're the laughing stock of every other gacha community & honestly Idec about the hypocrisy of it all, I'm just astounded that they keep making it worse without ever really getting to the heart of the backlash. For LCorp & Ruina fans specifically I feel for them because it's not like they could've ever foreseen that this whole gacha endeavour would send everything up in smoke.
As for being Project Moon's strongest soldier (joking), I have less than zero interest in promoting their work until I have a decent confidence of vellmori's side (which I suspect is not even known because of either unknown factors, or a generic NDA that prevents them from commenting on their contract termination, not that unusual, especially if some kind of severance package is offered alongside it). Basically, I don't want to do any heavy lifting, even though I don't have that big of an audience, it just feels gross to bring them money when KR fans are outwardly begging other fanbases to stop playing and whether you do or not is up to you, but I'm personally just waiting till they shoot themselves in the foot enough times to completely walk away from this community/world. I do think that expecting everyone to express a deep remorse about a situation they did not create nor can they really control for the time being and self-flagellate about it is stupid though.
Hope vellmori & the pmoon staff get an equitable outcome out of all of this because as mad as I am I'm not so selfish as to think that having a dumb boss means you should have no job.
tl;dr - I don't want to openly associate with the "brand" even if the company =/= the community, it still feels weird, but that is just my own choice. I don't expect others to boycott. I'm waiting to see what happens, but judging by the reactionary replies to the latest banner it's probably nothing good in our future if Limbus survives this ordeal - since you will mostly have people who revel in the exodus of LGBT+ & women from the fandom.

sorry people trying to claim some kind of insane doomer scenario about how project moon would have died and signed a deal with the devil to make a mobile game is so insane to me. they were doing perfectly ok. they just wanted a bigger cashflow for more ambitious projects as far as i remember 😭 you people are such annoying doomers AND honestly lets be real kind of telling lies here. like this is called lying
like.. at worst lobcorp and ruina are cult classics. but theyre not unpopular by any metric nor was projmoon flopping ever after like, idk 2019 at the very latest
and this isnt me coming to the defense of A Gacha Game i just think misrepresenting the facts just to bolster your melodramatic blog post is honestly so annoying to me. it is literally an early access game with in app purchases idt its anything crazy compared to the other two games rollouts. if anything, its similar to early access except they have way more legal obligations bc of the money/lbr, gambling aspect

hihihi can I get a netzachxreader scenario where netz comforts the reader after a rough day? thanks! -🦷
Hello again 🦷 anon! Of course I can. Sorry it’s been a bit late for me to get to these requests but here it is nonetheless. Enjoy!
Netzach Comforting Reader who had a Rough Day:
Everything just seems to feel so heavy today, even the tasks of which you almost never have a struggle with. Frustration seems to keep creeping up on you, leading to a stiff and irritated composure. You know these things aren’t that difficult, you’ve done them hundreds of times before, so why does everything have to feel so hard now?
It’s easy to not realize how much mood actually impacts how you perceive the environment around you. It was an unpleasant reception, a troublesome break, and now you’re left to deal with some draining book sorting. The air feels stuffy, it’s a bit too humid and hot to the point it’s uncomfortable, and it feels like even the slightest mistake is about to send you over the edge.
You know that to an outside eye it just seems like you’re being dramatic, but that doesn’t take away from the fact that it just feels like every little thing is out to get you. Perhaps it was because you’re overthinking about something, or just a rude encounter left your day off to a bad start, maybe nothing specific caused this reaction.
It’s pretty easy for others to tell you’re quite tense, and you’re woefully aware of that. The reasons as to how they figured it out could range from your sluggish movement, upset expression, or general behavior. You’ve had one or two other librarians come up and ask if you’re alright, though you always keep it brief and say you’re doing okay. You don’t want to possibly drag them into the same mood as you.
You weren’t left alone for long though because a certain patron librarian seemed to be rather adamant on checking in. “..Need anything?” He enters so silently that it’s almost impossible to notice him until he speaks.
Netzach walks up to you as you sigh, exhausted even though you hardly had anything to do throughout the day. “Yeah everything’s good, just feeling a bit rocky.” You raise your hands to your face, rubbing your eyes tiredly.
The green haired man stares at you for a little bit before walking over and wrapping a loose arm around you. “I think it’s a bit of a gloomy day for everyone. Not gonna press ‘cause I know how annoying it is when people nag, but if anythings up you know you can come to me.”
He lazily leans his head over your shoulder, looking at the open book you picked up in your hand. He traces his eyes over the words, but hardly processes them. To him they’re all just a bunch of scribbled out letters, and it’s the same mess in your brain.
“I know, It’s honestly not too big. Today’s just kinda felt awful, and I don’t wanna pull you into things with endless complaining and ranting.” You flip a page after you finish the last, wedge a bookmark in between the papers, and clamp it shut.
Netzach hummed, a bit of an amused smile on his face as he shut his eyes, leaning into his embrace of you. “No big deal.. I mean all through being a sephirah and the beginning of this library all I really did is make people sit and listen to my woes. It’s only fair for me to hear you out.. Plus I’d rather you talk about it instead of let it be all pent up.”
Placing the closed book atop an empty shelf you returned the hug. “Guess you’re right. It honestly feels like I’m stuck in mud, just taking one step is extremely and unnecessarily exhausting. It’s like I’m tired, but I don’t even know why. My focus has been terrible, and that’s only made things worse because now every little thing irritates me. I want to have a moment to breathe, but when I even try it just feels like the air is so suffocating. Everything’s just building up and I feel like I’m ready to burst.”
He’s a good listener and he only tightens his hold when he hears the words spill out of your mouth. From the start of your morning to the moment you’re standing there, every detail is revealed. It does feel a bit relieving to let off some pressure, but you’re still overwhelmed.
He doesn’t speak until you’ve stopped, not wanting to interrupt you as you speak. “Honestly? A lot of the time I feel the exact same way. Feels like you just wanna give up ‘cause when you’re trying it’s like every little thing is going astray. It isn’t good to discredit how you feel though, even if it’s over something minimal. If you wanna cry then do so, I mean I can’t tell you the number of times I’ve broken down.” There was another slightly entertained smile on his face, one that wasn’t extremely happy, but not too bittersweet either. “I mean you’ve experienced it, the whole ‘Sephirah meltdown’. I Was not in a good place. But look at me now, I’m still here, yeah?”
His voice travels in a light tone, one that’s a bit slow but also comforting. “‘Point I’m trying to make is that you shouldn’t feel alone or bad when things suck, ‘cause they do suck sometimes. You’re not alone, you got me and plenty others. Why not take a little break?.. I’m not the best at making drinks, but I can try to make you some tea. ‘Promise I’ll try not to burn the water.”
For as pessimistic as he is, he sure is quite capable of cheering someone up. You continue to hold onto him before departing and sliding into a chair. Your posture is miserable as you’re halfway slanted in your seating, but it doesn’t matter to you.
“You know what? Why not? Maybe something warm can help clear up the fog in my head.” Perhaps a drink could also help smooth out your senses and give you a moment to sit and recuperate your energy. Before the patron librarian left though, you had one more question to ask. “Hey Netzach, do you think Angela would kill us if we took a walk around the library? I just need to get out of this place, a change of scenery and some fresher air could be nice.”
He responds rather nonchalantly, not concerned by your question at all. “Eh, we’ll be good. I mean, I somehow get away with sleeping on the job all the time.. Doubt we’ll be punished for walking around.. We could say that we’re delivering a message to another librarian and that should work given that she’s not listening right now.”
There’s a looming moment of silence as you both wait in anticipation for Angela to pop up out of nowhere through the sound of snapping fingers as she usually does. However after there seems to be no such event, the two of you shrug.
“Sounds good! And thank you for listening, I know you say it’s not much for you to do, but it means a lot for me.” It would feel wrong for you to not show some form of appreciation.
“Of course, anytime.” He nods with a loose wave, one of his hands shoved into his pockets. “I’ll be back soon, you just rest up.”

Scenario: Reader confessing love to Yesod
Ive sent in all the Yesod reqs so far btw thank you for doing them <3
It’s good to hear that you’ve enjoyed them enough to continue sending them in! Also this one should be fun as it’s the first scenario I’ve written on the blog. Hopefully it turns out as good as the headcanons. I will say I’m not giving the scenarios fancy chapter names because I’m horrible with coming up with titles, so hopefully you don't mind that!
Reader Confessing Love to Yesod Scenario:
Out of all of the challenges you’ve faced in the library, this one was by far the most difficult. You’re capable of defending yourself against violent abnormalities who have wreaked havoc upon the facilities of the past, as well as strangers who come to the library to seek out knowledge, so why is mustering up some confidence to speak your mind so hard?
It’s been something that has pestered you for a long time and left you restless. You had thought that the affection you hold for the patron librarian of your floor would simply fizzle out some time, being only a quick crush before you could get your head straight. Problem was, it never left. You waited days, weeks, and even a couple months, yet nothing faltered. It was with this you realized that this was more than just a little attraction, but full on infatuation.
It’s a miserable fate that you decided you shouldn’t have to suffer on your own, so instead you chose to ask some colleagues for advice. Whether or not that was a good idea isn’t something you’re really sure of, but it was in an attempt to garner some form of confidence.
“You know, I say sooner than later is better.” A friend of yours who worked on the same floor as you said while placing some books into the shelves, “We do kinda have no specified time when we leave… if we ever do. Might as well get it out of the way. It’s just gonna eat you if you keep it stuffed inside.”
You furrowed your eyebrows, one hand propping up your chin on the table you sat at. “I get that, but it doesn’t really make things easier. I don’t want to run the risk of some awkward period of time where we can hardly face each other because I confessed to him, and he doesn’t feel the same way. I can’t run away after that, there’s nowhere to go.” You sighed, leaning back in the chair and rubbing your eyes.
“Well..” They turn to face you, placing their arms on their sides, “I don’t know how worried you’ll have to be about that, something tells me that’s not going to happen.” They’re very obviously keeping something away from you which does not help given your situation.
You narrowed your eyes, “What are you going on about?”
There’s a slightly mischievous grin on their face as they go on. “Now, things may be a bit different as you’re looking at them because you’re not picking up on the same details as the rest of us are. It’s easy to lose sight of the signs when you’re constantly telling yourself it’s impossible for them to be there. From an outsider’s view though, let me tell you, there are quite a few.”
Your eyes widen as it begins to settle in what they’re implying. Quickly you toss them a questioning glance, unsure of their words. Yesod has always treated you like any other member of the floor of technological sciences, at least you think he has, so what is your friend going on about? “I think you might be mistaking these ‘signs’ for just friendly gestures. I mean he’s always sweet to everyone who works here.”
A dramatic but lighthearted groan comes from your friend as they pull out a seat to sit in the table across from you. “There you go again with the denial part. I assure you that these ‘friendly gestures’ are a little more than just that. Have you seen how frequently he compliments you and holds you as an example? How he almost immediately comes over to you any time you enter the room? How you seem to bring up his mood just by being there? Just saying, but I’m pretty sure I’ve overheard him freak out about not looking presentable enough before meeting you. I know it’s Yesod, but what person cares that much about what they look like in front of their friend?”
There it is. That small ray of hope, the one that flutters inside your heart. Another wave of anxiety follows soon after though. What if they’re wrong? What if you get your expectations up and it just disappoints you?
Sheepishly, you answer their last question. “I do??”
They slowly nod, “Exactly. You do, cause you have a fat crush on him. Now why do you think he reacts that way to you? See where I’m getting at?” You pause in silence, only staring at them. With one last effort they sigh, “Okay look, I’m gonna be blunt here. Your attraction to that man is very obvious to almost everyone on this floor. I say almost, because Yesod happens to be a bit on the oblivious side in terms of his feelings.”
Well you’re slightly embarrassed now. A secret that you thought was relatively well kept apparently was not, so of course you’re going to have some form of reaction to it. But your friend doesn’t stop, they continue, “But this is a bit too unaware, even for him. My best guess is he’s going through the same exact thing as you, denial and doubt. The whole floor is waiting for you two to finally come together, and at this rate if you won’t confess I’ll do it for you.”
They stand up and usher you out of the portion of the library you’re in. Even though you immediately declined their offer to do it for you, you’re actually more confident than you were before you spoke with your colleague. Of course you’re sort of being dragged around now unwillingly, but the talk was enough to raise your spirits.. For now.
All of it immediately drains when you see what she’s bringing you to though. The exact person you’re dreading talking to stands there, facing the window that peers out of the floor of technological sciences with a troubled look on his face. His arms are folded, and the light reflects on him in an almost ethereal way.
Of course it’s too late, because your friend pushes you forward and completely vanishes when you turn to see where they went. Probably a skill they picked up in the receptions. That being said, there seems to be no possible escape, for the sound of your stumbling footsteps were enough to catch Yesod’s attention.
He turns to you, a bit surprised as well as confused for your flustered entrance. “Is something the matter? I don’t think I’ve ever seen you sprint into here with such enthusiasm.” Ah well it wasn’t actually sprinting. You’d actually prefer to be as far away as possible at the moment. Not like you’re going to say it.
What are you rambling on about though? Now’s your chance! You can feel the adrenaline and heat crawling up your skin as you begin to decide what to do next. Issue is that your mouth decides to start talking before you can actually think of what to do.
“No- all is good! Actually, wait- yes I do have an issue. Wow this is getting me nowhere, uh, first, how are you! Looked like something was uh, bothering you.. Unless that’s prying you don’t need to tell me then-” You’re faltering all over the place, holding your hands behind your back to hide the fact that you are fidgeting with your hands more than you ever have in your entire life.
Before you can embarrass yourself any longer he cuts you off, “I’m well, however I’m more concerned with how you’re doing. I don’t believe I’ve seen you this mixxed up before?” Why does he have to be so composed all the time? It makes you look like a mess in comparison, even though you kind of are a mess at the moment.
It’s now or never. You take a deep breath in as you try to unscatter the thoughts in your head. “Yeah! About that.. Okay so sort of a long story. For a couple months now I’ve just kind of noticed that… uh well you’re a great friend! And I happened to just accidentally..” He’s staring at you intensely, but to be fair everything feels intense at this moment. You can’t even discern what he’s feeling. “I like you. I mean I totally get if you don’t and this is probably out of nowhe-”
“You truly do?” There’s this shocked look on his face. The words he utters make it seem like he was expecting it to be some form of prank. It’s a response that puzzles you, and you don’t know what to make of it. You nod your head slowly though, immediately quieting down and letting the air settle.
There’s an audible sigh from him as he drops his arms to his side, as if he was releasing some form of pressure. “That is.. The biggest relief I have experienced upon being awoken at this library.”
“Wait so you.. Also are interested in me?” Like the sun creeping out as morning comes, a warm happiness begins to awaken in you. It seems unreal, untouchable, and like you’re dreaming.
For once there are cracks in his stern demeanor, ones that you never thought you’d actually see. He seems to be a bit flustered by the implications as his own words come to his realization, but he does not take them back. “I.. suppose you could put it like that, yes.” He breaks eye contact and takes a step to slightly turn the angle he is facing, but you can still see the colors creeping into his cheeks.
You’re filled with excitement at the news, and can hardly contain it, but you do. “Wow, that’s.. That’s great news! If you’re free tonight, how about dinner together? Might be a good first step.”
He turns back around to answer your proposal, “I don’t believe I have anything else to attend to. Are you able to meet here after our shifts end?” You nod vigorously, a wide smile on your face that you can’t seem to shake.
“Sounds good! I’ll see you then.” You exit the room swiftly, head facing to the floor as you try to hide the joyous expression on your face.
As slightly irritated as you are towards your friend for pushing you in there without further warning, it all worked out in the end. Their hunch happened to be right, or well, everyone’s hunch.
Being with Yesod is something you’re gonna have to get used to, especially when you both can barely formulate sentences on how you feel, but hey! You made it this far, so you can make it the rest.

heyheyhey mind if I can have a cuddling with netzach scenario? thanks! -the previous netzach and laetitia anon (I'll just refer to myself as 🦷! I really like your writing!)
Hello 🦷 anon! (Tooth anon? Teeth anon? Molar anon? Your pick). Thank you for the feedback, and you may absolutely have a scenario. I will say I’m starting to notice a pattern in interests of cuddling with the requests I've gotten, not complaining though.
Cuddling with Netzach Scenario:
It was another lazy day, and you were just dragging yourself around and sorting books into their appropriate places on the shelves. Even the receptions today were sort of mundane, as awful as that might be to say about life threatening battles. There wasn’t really any dramatic story or perspective you got to hear from Angela or Roland beforehand, and they went by swiftly.
The people seemed just like any other person in the city. No syndicates, no association members, no nothing. Just your regular employees of a fixer office trying to get by, unfortunately they didn’t seem to fare too well on that part.
It’s not like you could really blame it on the weather, considering there is no weather in the library. Maybe you could say the air was stuffy and that’s your excuse for slacking so much? Who knows, it’s just a pretty casual day which is almost a bit unsettling given the often eventful experiences of the library.
“Slow day, huh?” A voice piped up from behind you. It successfully caught your attention and you turned around to see your patron librarian, Netzach. You didn’t know he was there, but he has been one to unintentionally sneak around a bit.. So long as he doesn’t stumble into anything. Not like it’s anything too alarming.
You glance down at the book that’s in your hands, the words feel as though they mesh together and it’s just creating a mess in your brain. All you see are walls of text, and it’s straining you especially when you’re supposed to be making progress.
“Yeah, I guess my heads just really foggy right now. Makes it a bit of a nightmare to focus.” You didn’t mean to complain much as it really wasn’t too big of a deal, but you knew he’d understand especially with his own distaste of the job.
You slipped in a bookmark and set it onto one of the tables of the floor of art, the one where he sat, backwards in a chair. Rubbing your face with your hands you mutter, “Maybe I just need a cold glass of water, something to wake me up a bit.”
“..Why not just fall asleep?” Well he makes it sound a lot more simple of a choice. Problem is, you don’t really know how happy Angela would be for you abandoning your tasks altogether.
For this reason you’re a bit unsure about his proposal. “As tantalizing an idea that is, I don’t want to end up overwhelmed with work. I have no idea what the future holds, and that might include a stack of books to sort. I just gotta get through it now.” You say those words, but the idea of ‘getting through it now’ seems a bit impossible with the rate you’re going at.
His eyes watch you, head propped up by his arm on the back of the chair. “Eh, it’ll be fine. I mean, it was you who told me that it’s important not to push yourself too hard when you’re not feeling it, right? Why wouldn’t the same apply to you?” His offer started to sound more and more reasonable, and you were growing convinced.
It wasn’t the end of it however, “Plus it’s not like the books are anything too complicated and there aren’t too many… dealing with them at a later time shouldn’t strain you too bad. And if it does, I’ll help.” While Netzach trying to convince you to procrastinate isn’t usually the best in most cases, he did bring up a good point.
With a sigh you roll your shoulders back and stretch, “Alright, alright. I give in. Are you coming with me or am I gonna be all alone?” It was a useless question to ask, especially when you already knew the answer. It’s not like he was ever going to miss out on an excuse to get out of work, let alone if it means spending time with you.
“...You already know the answer to that.”
The two of you were left to retreat to the room you shared, kicking off your shoes and settling down into the comfortable bed. It wasn’t super firm, but it wasn’t so soft you were endlessly sinking into it either. Rather it was a good balance between the two.
Not a moment passed before he collapsed besides you, quickly wrapping his arm around your waist and pulling you closer. He’s always been quite physically affectionate, and it doesn’t matter which way he sleeps either. Whether he’s on his back, sideways, or face down in a pillow he’ll always attempt to be in contact with you.
He’s facing towards you, eyes shut and his legs slightly bent rather than just being straightened out. There’s this vague murmuring that comes out of his mouth, and when you ask what he says all he does is pull you closer as he places his head on your shoulder.
“Even though this is meant to be my rest, something tells me you’ll be out of it quicker than I am.” You lightheartedly comment. Your hand reaches up to his hair, where you begin softly brushing it through. “Mind if I take out the tie?”
“Sure.” With the words of confirmation, you carefully take out the hair tie, making it much more comfortable and easier to play with his hair without making it a mess. Not really like Netzach would care if it was a mess, it’s not as though his appearance is his biggest concern.
Still, it removes the risk of discomfort that comes with the possibility of accidentally pulling hair strands. It’s a bit surreal to see him with his hair down, especially when it always seems to be up. You brush some strands out of his face and decide to ask a question as you prop yourself up on a pillow.
“You look really nice when your hair isn’t all put up, is there a reason why you never let it down?” It could totally be up to personal preference, it’s not like you’re really someone who’s going to dictate another’s look anyways.
“...Gets all over the place. Having it up also means less effort for a cleaner look.” Alright well you should probably have expected that second part there. He really does go down the path of what’s the most convenient. I mean it’s good to not make things harder on yourself if they don’t need to be?
Still, you decide to tease him a bit, “You know if you have such trouble with brushing your hair in the mornings you can always ask me.” You finally sink down from the propped up position you were in, moving the arm that combed through his hair to rest around his neck.
“Depends how early I’d have to get up. But I mean if you really wanted to, it'd be too difficult to say no.” Now that’s an opportunity you aren’t about to pass up. You hummed in conformation before slowly shutting your own eyes.
“I’m about to drift off now, love you. Don’t be too stubborn and keep me stuck here when I need to get up though, okay?” You notified him. You did come here for a rest after all, and as much as you love talking with him it’s still important you fulfill your original intention.
“..No promises.” He quietly spoke with a half-awake tone, nuzzling further into your shoulder. “Love you too.”

Roland Helping Reader who Selfharms Scenario:
You weren’t really expecting nor awaiting for someone to figure out. I mean, it’s a heavy topic not just for yourself and the mental strain you’re going through, but for any others who might discover it. It felt like a burden you weren’t ready to place onto others, even if that was truly what you needed in the moment.
It felt as though every day was just getting rougher and rougher. There wasn’t really a solution to this either because it’s not as though you could just give up your duties. No matter how exhausted you felt, how closed in things seemed to be, you still had to trudge through the day.
Maybe that was an early sign for him to notice your deteriorating mental state. You were performing with less enthusiasm every day, and seemed to be stumbling a bit more in receptions. This only made you feel worse though, as if you’re just letting down others because of your incompetency.
You weren’t exactly sure how he figured it out, but when he approached you it sent you into a brief moment of panic. Of course the two of you were in private, and it’s something he didn’t seem to bring up in an upset tone, but that didn’t stop your heart from pounding against your chest.
It was a terrifying feeling, like a deer caught in headlights. You were afraid, but you didn’t know what you were afraid of. Getting in trouble? Being humiliated? Dragging others into some big mess? You were unsure if there even was a reason, or if it all was irrational.
Roland obviously noticed your tenseness, and tried to calm you down a bit. He invited you to take a seat, saying that it’s not like he’s going to lash out on you. While he may not have resorted to the exact same unhealthy coping mechanisms, he knows what it feels like to be in a state of misery.
A couple of moments passed before you were finally freed from the frozen state you were in prior. You sink into the chair, glancing at your hands nervously as you play with them. Anything to avert your gaze and attention from the awkward air.
He slips into the seat across from you, “You know, I don’t mean to pry, and I’m sorry for freaking you out. I get that this is a talk that’s a bit rough to have but it would be worse if I didn’t confront you. In the end, it’s still your choice, are you willing to let me know what’s going on?”
He treads carefully on his words, but it doesn’t seem as though it’s in a pitiful way. You can tell by the look in his eyes, it’s one of genuine concern. One that’s seen in a similar spot.
As much as your head is telling you to decline the offer and go on with your day, your heart is telling you to stay put. It’s not like you want to be in the situation you’re in, but you’ve lacked a moment you could reach out. To pass this up would be only another thing you couldn’t forgive yourself for.
So you nod. You may not feel ready to speak about this, but you know you need to.
He takes your silence as a hint to keep going, so he does. “Well, I wanna start off by saying I’m not the best with words, but I hope you still understand where I’m coming from.” He straightens in his seat as he rakes a hand through his hair. “Believe it or not, I’ve been in a similar spot. I’m not gonna pretend it’s the same because you haven’t even told me what’s wrong yet, but I understand the awful feeling inside that someone would have to feel to do that. I didn’t think I’d ever recover.”
Your attention is turned towards him, listening to the story as it unfolds. He continues. “I mean it was bad, ‘could hardly get off the couch. I was swimming in my own sadness at that point. Not the proudest time of my life.” Roland shifts to put one arm behind the back of the chair he’s sitting at, crossing his legs.
“You know what though? I’m starting to do better. Even as it felt like I was at the bottom of the well, there was still a way out. It’s been a slow climb, sure, but it’s still progressing. And that happened to be at a time when I had no one to reach out to. I really do think you can get better, and I don’t wanna leave you to do it on your own.” He finishes.
You figure that now is your time to speak, right? Well you try, and on the first word you speak you’re already starting to get choked up. You persist though, and even though there are tears falling down your face you begin to explain what’s been happening. Your throat is burning and you cover your face with your hands, desperately trying to put words in an understandable way.
Everything seemed to be strung together so well in your mind. The exact script of what you were going to say played out before you, but you never expected just how emotional you were about to get.
You can hardly see because your eyes are blurry from the water, but you certainly feel the arm that wraps around you. Roland had walked over, trying to offer what emotional support he could through an embrace.
At long last you finish, but your crying doesn’t seem to be done. Still, his patience is maintained and he holds onto you until you feel better. Hopefully he doesn’t mind a tear stained suit, because as you leaned into him that’s absolutely what he was going to get.
After you relaxed enough to be able to listen, he began speaking once more. “Alright, first I want to thank you for telling me that, it isn’t easy to open up like that. Second, if you ever need to please reach out to me or other librarians, a lot of people are going through struggles like you are.”
“How about this, whenever you’re feeling upset, maybe you could find an alternative thing to focus on? The library is a bit barren when it comes to objects, but I don’t doubt you’ll find a book with something that can help.” You lean away to quickly grab a tissue, though he doesn’t mind. “Lack of motivation sucks, but it can help when you have someone to encourage you. Let me help you, and maybe bit by bit you’ll start feeling better. Sounds good?”
“Yes, thank you.” You finally spoke up once more, now have calmed down from earlier.
Roland stops to think a minute before a smile appears on his face. “I have an idea. You like food? I’ll make you breakfast, something to start off your day.” You stop to stare at him. There aren’t even words that need to be said. “I’ll take that as a yes.”
He stands up. “Well, sadly there are books that Miss Angela has commanded me to sort.. If you need anything just let me know.” There's one last look over you to make sure you’re doing okay before he begins to depart.
“Hey Roland.” You called out just before he left the room, to which he curiously looked back around. “Either you don’t give yourself enough credit for talking to people, or you’re a liar.”
The last thing you see is a smile and him saying, “Thank you, I’m flattered.” Before he heads off to the rest of the floor.

you know theres been a lot of good cute stuff here. so i think its appropriate for me now to ask for a scenario about yujins last moments in the library. (i love her she is everything but also going through SO MUCH)
While I’ve written things that are sad with a happy ending, I haven’t written anything outright angsty. I will absolutely provide that, and so here’s your request.
Yujin’s Last Moments in the Library Scenario:
There was no doubt in her mind that this cruel fate was all part of the Blue Reverberation’s plan. Perhaps it was too ambitious of a goal to attempt to take a stand against him herself. Should she have been just a little more patient, maybe this situation would have never come to be.
It’s a miserable feeling to fall to your knees before the enemy, desperately wanting to stand up and continue fighting. She had come here weakened along with her other team members, the scale waging this war was already tipped unfairly.
But the biggest regret of all? Seeing the deaths of her colleagues Valentin and Tenma. They said they’d follow her dreams until the end, and they did. There wasn’t even a corpse to hold onto, not a face to remember them by. Like flames to a fire, they bursted into pages.
And so everything they planned for came crumbling down. The distant dream of overthrowing the Shi Association’s leadership seemed like a delusion at this point. Hope seemed to dangle before her like bait, yet the moment she reached to grasp at it, it was torn away.
Everything is burning, she’s littered in bruises and cuts, and her breathing is ragged. Exhaustion courses through her body, she can’t even find the energy to cry, to mourn her fallen colleagues. All she can do is pathetically grip at the sword in hand, one which has become dull and bloodstained.
She didn’t want to drag either Valentin or Tenma into this, they didn’t deserve to die like this. Their passion, their loyalty, it didn’t deserve to be stuffed in the shelves of this place where it would be forgotten.
They fought valiantly for a moment that would never come to pass. ‘Just wait a little longer, soon we will seize the opportunity.’ Had they waited past the time they yearned for? Was there ever going to be a weakness revealed? For once did the methodical and forbearing personality of hers lead to a fatal mistake? Was it possible that she was to blame?
Just barely she evaded another swing of a blade, though it happened to nip her slightly on an already beaten up shoulder. Her legs are teetering on the edge of collapse, yet somehow she manages to stay upright. Not for long, that’s sure.
As soon as the seedlings of uncertainty decided to root within her heart, they were silenced just as quickly as they came. No, she was not at fault for taking the path she did up to this point. Yujin isn’t to blame, and her colleagues certainly aren’t. They did everything they thought was right, and they just happened to be intercepted with an unavoidable issue.
She doesn’t even hold much of a grudge against the librarians that have brutally fought against her. There’s a reason the Shi Association is known for its indiscriminate view on death, even in the face of enemies. Just as she was, they were only doing what they had to. As sorrowful as it is to lose those you care for, these people of the library are not who her anger is directed at.
However, to Thelma, the man who was willing to sentence everyone to such death. The person who was fully aware of the cruelty they would face, all for his own selfish desire of saving his own hide and position. There is no pity for him, only a single wish. A wish that his responsibilities and shadiness will one day catch up to him, and when it does, it will be an absolute hell.
And to the Blue Reverberation? What more is there for her to say? If this truly was all some elaborate scheme of his then it’s frustrating yes, but unsurprising. In retrospect, all Yujin had to want was for her to be more careful. That color fixer deserved no riddance, not even a second thought. He’d probably take it as a compliment. The ultimate choice was to pay no care to him at all, don’t feed the fire.
Truthfully this confidence and desire that burned in her for the dream they originally had set in front of them didn’t come out of nowhere. Should she have not reflected once more on the tragic deaths of Valentin and Tenma, she’d be lost to the tangled vines of doubt that grew in her mind like weeds.
What kind of a leader would she be to give up her own dedication so easily? To toss it out, just because of some crisis on who’s to blame. What’s faith in a cause if you can’t hold out on it until the very end? To die with the afterthought that their mission was doomed from the start was the more cowardly option. Tenma… Valentin… they held out even as their demise neared, for they believed there was still a chance to reach their goals. It would be dishonorable to not do the same.
And even though she was bruised and battered, even though her vision was fading, and even though every noise seemed so overwhelming her heart stood strong. They might not have won, perhaps nothing would have changed, but she was proud of what they achieved.
Yujin wasn’t one to ponder too much on the afterlife, but if there was one, she hopes that she gets to meet those two. She hadn’t been able to tell them just how much she respects them and how pleased she is with their work. Tenma is probably beating herself up for falling, and Valentin is just as upset. An afterlife, yeah? Sounds like a nice thought.
Maybe, just maybe the three of them will meet somewhere where they’re free.
She wonders if their deaths were peaceful, but as her own body begins to scatter into paper, it looks like she won’t have to ponder that question any longer.
