Sephirah Reacting to an Employee teaching Nothing There to Shitpost Headcanons:

Malkuth would be absolutely baffled upon hearing whatever ungodly things you taught this aleph to mutter. It’s enough to make even a workaholic like her freeze in her tracks with sheer confusion. Why.. Did you teach it to say that?? She imagined that an employee capable of repeatedly working with such dangerous abnormalities would be a bit more mature.. Her assumption was wrong. She might scold you a bit but I think she’s too fascinated with it to actually care too much. Usually she always has something to say.. But this? No words. Kind of thinks some of the bizarre things you taught it to say are funny but would never admit that because she does not want to tarnish her attempts at being the prime sephirah.

Lord, I think you would send Yesod into cardiac arrest. Probably calls for a meeting to figure out who’s responsible for this and chastises their immature behavior being unbefitting of a corporate employee. It depends on how good you are at keeping a poker face because his pure seriousness about this is absolutely priceless. You’d think he was yelling at you for kicking his dog or something. Sighs with a really stressed tone and probably utters something under his breath as the meeting ends. If you are found out you’re likely going to get a huge scolding and have to work overtime. It’s worth it though.

Hod is sort of nervous first and foremost because she is concerned about the safety and potential repercussions you can experience for training an abnormality in such a way. After seeing how much fun it is for you though she’d support it considering the place is usually so dark and dreary.. It’s a nice contrast to see some people enjoying themselves. Doesn’t understand half of the things the meat dog is saying, but over time you may find she is gradually developing a quiet sense of humor towards the stupid things you do.

Netzach helps you. He does not care at all for this place, let alone formality, so you can guarantee he’s probably making his own suggestions. Also finds it funny to see Yesod so distressed over this. He doesn’t really interact with the abnormality itself but he will cover for you if you need it, implying it's someone else or even taking the blame altogether just so you can get away with it. You two are a devious duo and there is an impending sense of dread whenever you are in the vicinity. This is pretty much the only time he puts effort into planning things out and it’s all for some dumb humor. Definitely have inside jokes.

Tiphereth is like Yesod but worse. Huffs about how she’s the child yet you keep acting like one, doesn’t get half of the things Nothing There says but immediately knows it’s something bad, and can always tell when you are plotting something. If you work in her department with the abnormality, she has on multiple times threatened to move you out, and has even gone through with it once. It somehow does not stop you. Stares at you with the intensity of 50 suns the moment you have the audacity to step in the slightest direction of Nothing There. She has scrounged every single part of the corporation’s terms and conditions to find some rule you’re violated, and made multiple reports on why you can not keep getting away with this. Only Yesod really agrees.

Chesed is thoroughly entertained by this. He may not outright participate like Netzach, but he silently encourages it by urging you to continue telling your stories. Most of the time he’s just sitting around doing work in his office so he’s not going to say no to something new. Doesn’t really take part in your scheming but always knows when something is done because of Tiphereth, it’s his alarm that you’re up to trouble. Has hosted you in his department to hide away from the others like a fugitive before.

Gebura hates abnormalities. She does not understand why you are doing this, especially when it poses an unnecessary threat to your own safety. Overall views abnos like Nothing There as detestable creatures incapable of domestic feats like training. That said, hearing it cuss out and insult employees –even sephirah– at times is pretty funny. It says things that no man working there would ever have the courage to, and that bluntness is laughable at times. She believes that if you are going to mess around with it somehow then this is one of the least awful ways.

Hokma is too tired for this man. He’s old and too caught up in philosophical ramblings. Doesn’t necessarily tell you to stop, but if you bring it up he will turn it into what feels like a 4 hour session dissecting the implications that’s vaguely reminiscent of when grandparents go ‘back in my day’ and proceed to verbally produce an essay. You’ll be asleep by the time he’s finished and remind yourself to never directly approach him about it again. I think he would let you off easy because he totally would have thought about doing this when he was younger.

Binah’s reaction is completely incomprehensible. You’d think by the way she was staring you down with an ominous aura that she was unimpressed by your childish attempts at playing around. You couldn’t be more wrong. She is going to cease an opportunity to mess with people at any point, and will directly help you with getting Nothing There to shitpost. You think Netzach would plan things out? She has a full schedule that she presents to you to optimize the teaching process, carefully plotted out with graphs and condensed sheets of paper. You will figure out how to make it speak full sentences bordering on some revolutionary discovery all because it’s humorous. No one knows she is helping you because she is so good at keeping it hidden behind a neutral look on her face. No one would dare question Binah after all, not with her intimidating composure, which makes it so easy for her to take part (not even you initially thought she would go along with this). It’s a secret alliance between you two.

A/N: Sorry your request took a while to make. I wasn’t quite sure where to start with this one but I hope you like it! I apologize that it’s short!

Warnings: Mentions of drugs and alcohol, cursing

Netzach was often high or drunk, sometimes both while working, it wasn’t a secret. But none the less it still always caught you off guard when you would walk into his office and see him drunk off his ass with a couple cans of beer lying around him. Today was one of those days.

Walking over, you kneel down in front of him gently moving a piece of hair that was covering his eye. He slowly looks up at you while smiling wide. “H-Hey there you arrre” he stutters and prolongs his words. “Hey Netzach” you softly say with a slight smile.

“I was looking for you, you know? Thought you might wanna try some beer” Netzach speaks laughing at what he just said. “God what am I saying you never liked that shit” you laugh quietly as you sit down beside him.

“Why don’t you go lie down for a bit? Hm?” You suggest quietly. “Wha- why? I’m fine, I swear I can continue working just watch” he says confidently as he goes to stand up and fails miserably, tripping instantly as you just barely catch him.

“You were saying?” You say hooking his arm around you neck as you hook yours under his and help him to his bed. (The Sephirot’s offices have bedrooms in there don’t question me) He lightly protests pushing weakly against your arm but you just tighten your hold on him and continue moving.

Laying him down you sit on the edge of the bed by him. “You worry me sometimes you know? With how drunk or high you get” you say. “Well you’re no better” he says back, “our there suppressing those stupid abnormalities…you could die”. He says slowly trailing off.

You look down at him gently pressing a kiss to his cheek, “I promise you Netzach, I won’t die. I want you to promise the same to me.” He simply stares back at you his smile growing. “I promise.”

“I love you Netzach” you say taking his hand in yours. “I love you too” he whispers back closing his eyes.

Worries & Welfare ::Chesed x Reader:: Chapter 15

A had entered the room shortly after Angela had, most people excusing themselves with the exception of you, Chesed and a Clerk. Chesed was sitting on the sofa, his ankle still painfully pulsating despite the medication. You stood, standing patiently in front of your fathers desk as he himself was just getting to his desk, a clerk walking behind him and desperately trying to speak with him. The haggard man sighed, not wanting to deal with a clerk right now. " Red Riding Hooded Mercenary's account specifically states that during the time of the White Night incident that the punishing bird was seen-" "The Punishing bird escapes all the time." Your father said, waving off the clerk's concern. "It's not unusual to see him flying around-" "Yes, I know but both breaches-" "That will be all, Delta20. I have something a little more...pressing to deal with." Your father's voice was commanding, making everyone in the room feel a little bit smaller. The clerk backed away, thanking A for his time and excusing himself. Now fully behind his desk, your father looked down at you, narrowing his eyes and then shifting his gaze to Chesed. "Dad-" "Daniel, front and center." "He's hurt." "Yes, sir." Chesed obliged, standing quickly and making his way to the front of the desk. The pain was so evident in his eyes and you couldn't help but wince yourself as he hobbled over. He kept his head held high, looking your father directly in the eyes. He was impressed with Chesed's candor but that would only get him so far. "Now," He started, not breaking eye contact with the scared sephirah. "You two will never see each other again-" "Dad-" "Yes, Sir." He agreed, giving a curt nod. You looked over at him in disbelief, your father having absolutely no sympathy. "Good. Y/N, you will be starting work tomorrow in your new office, next door to my own. If you ever see each other it will be business only. I trust we won't have to talk about this again." "Not at all sir." "Good." "Dad, I want to see Chesed." Your father shifted his attention to you but Chesed never stopped looking forward. "There's nothing in the employee handbook that would prevent any kind of relationship like this. You cannot tell me not to see him." "Yes I can, I'm your father." "That's a stupid reason-" "Be quiet, Y/N." "Please, Y/N. It's not worth it" Chesed whispered, catching your ears and making a pang in your heart. Your father scoffed, crossing his arms and returning his gaze to Chesed. "Sir, I will respect your wishes and I will stay away from your daughter but if I am not allowed to pursue her romantically I'd like to say something to her now since it will effectively be the only time I will ever be able to." The boss was caught of guard, raising a brow. This unusual request piqued his interest and so he motioned for Chesed to continue. The Sephirah took in a deep breath, turning to you and cupping both your hands in his. Your little blush took him off his guard, making him chuckle and making a blush creep up in him as well. "Daniel..." There you go again, catching him off guard. "Y/N, I know that we didn't spend a whole lot of time together but you are a beautiful and dedicated person inside and out and if I discovered anything in the past week it's that I've fallen for you. From here on out, We're strictly business. It's dangerous if we're anything more."

Chesed groaned, unlocking his office and hobbling inside on a single crutch. The new welfare department team had surprised their new boss with a shiny blue crutch with all their names on it. Considering everything that he just had to give up, it brought a smile to his face. He gave his orders and told his new team that they would catch up and get to know one another later. Right now, he wanted to be alone. He turned the light on, letting out a light gasp to see Netzach and Yesod waiting in his office. Netzach smiled, seeing his friend on a nice new blue crutch. "...Your teams always love you unconditionally." "What are you both doing here?" "This was not my idea!" Yesod defended, clearly embarrassed. "I'm here as support and in no way want anyone to know I'm involved in this." "What exactly is 'this'?" Chesed said slowly, Netzach aiding him in walking to his desk. As he sat down, Netzach sat on the desk, looking down at Chesed with a big smile. "You don't have to give up your girlfriend OR lose your job." "How do you even know about that?" "We took some educated guesses and assumed that A would not be happy with you dating his daughter, Angela's announcement that she would be starting her new job tomorrow, despite not finishing training, was a giveaway also that he's trying to keep you apart." Yesod answered, nodding every so often. "Angela and A are going to do everything in their power to separate you." "Which is why Yesod did some digging-" "I am not involved in going against our superiors." Yesod cut him off, his denial unconvincing. Netzach shook his head, shooting Yesod a knowing smirk. "Anyway, He discovered that in the event of an emergency, All Lobotomy Corporation offices are connected to a safe room and weapon storage in the center of the facility. It's not on the maps. It's not on the cameras." "Speaking of which." Yesod said lowly, reaching in his pocket and talking out 3 small crushed up things. He tossed them on Chesed's desk, the Sephirah connecting the dots quickly. "....You found those in here?" "I installed them in here." Yesod admitted. "Angela had me bug your office after the Silent Orchestra breach. She said it was to keep Y/N safe. Because she is no longer in your care, I told her I would be removing the bugs in your office. She didn't seem happy, however because Y/N is no longer in your care she has no grounds to continue to monitor you." "Son of a bitch-" "Chesed... I believe they were trying to get Y/N away from you the moment she agreed to help you with your department. They were just looking for excuses and gathering evidence.... Ch-... Daniel... You deserve to be happy with her." Yesod admitted, fiddling with his hands and staring off to the side. "This safe room is only connected by the offices. There is no other way into it.  Most people don't even know it exists. I had no idea myself until looking into it." "Aside from that, there's a couple more ways around it." Netzach cut in. "If she visited my office and you just happened to be visiting also, Her dad wouldn't have to know." "Or my office." Yesod offered. "I've also spoken to Hod. She was easy to convince. If you and Y/n ever visit her office at the same time she'll keep it quiet." "...You guys did all this..for me?" Chesed, leaned back in his chair, mostly looking at Yesod. He embarrassed the purple haired man, who quickly looked away. "We did this because you're an excellent Sephirah who gives everything to this company and the one time that you want something, you are being outright denied. It's not against the rules, it doesn't keep you from your job. The only reason they are keeping you apart is because her father doesn't approve. I don't think that's fair." "Yeah," Netzach said lazily, "So, we're gonna help you keep your girlfriend!"

Netzach x Reader Headcanons:

He’s not the most romantic type, at least in the traditional sense. It’s more of he has no idea what he’s supposed to do, and he didn’t really expect to make it this far. There might not be glamorous and fancy date nights unless it’s something you initiate, but he expresses his care in his own ways.

He’s a pretty leisurely guy so you don’t really have to worry about too much stress in a relationship. However, his procrastinating does impact his schedule because he might have to stay behind longer when working. If you don’t mind, then it’s a perfect opportunity to spend more time together.

If you’re a little disappointed that you can’t have as much free time together then I’m sure that he will make the push to do better. The reason he was so casual about it to begin with was lack of motivation and a disliking for the job, but if you serve as a reason for him then he has more reason to get things in on time.

Honestly, even if it isn’t intentionally, you help him get out of a lot of bad habits. You’re someone that he can talk and rant to, and who has been through the experiences of Lobotomy Corporation and relate to an extent about his troubles. He’s a pessimistic person, but seeing you manage to enjoy yourself even after all you’ve been through encourages him to start seeing things in a more positive light.

Netzach is tired a lot of the time, and prefers to spend time sleeping over anything. However, you make his waking moments a lot more pleasant. It’s not as though it’s some shift into someone who’s energetic and ready for anything, but there’s a visible difference.

In the artbook it says that one of his hobbies is to paint puzzle pieces. I think that one of the ways he shows he cares is by making intricate art and giving it to you. He puts a lot of thoughts into these gifts, as well as passion because they’re honestly quite stunning.

Whether it’s a normal painting or a whole puzzle, he’ll probably come up to you at random and hand you the items. He doesn’t really know how to approach it. I wouldn’t say he’s super nervous, Just kind of awkward and slightly flustered because relationships are a new thing for him and he doesn’t understand proper timing if there is such a thing.

Of course you greatly appreciate this, and he eases up when he sees that big smile plastered on your face. You might come up and give him a big hug, which he returns.

Continuing off of his sleepiness, he tends to be pretty loose in his affections. He’ll come up to you, sling an arm around your shoulder, and lean into you. It’s as though you’re a pillow to him, because he could fall asleep on you in an instant.

He also likes when you loosely play with his hair. He clearly knows how to tie it up but it’s still very lazily done. If you just come up and fix it for him, or in general tidy him up a bit he’ll find it to be quite lovable. He thinks it’s nice that you regard his health highly, but he will absolutely lightheartedly tease you about it.

I actually feel like he would tease you about things a lot. Of course if you genuinely communicated that you prefer if he didn’t, he wouldn’t, but otherwise he will. This is a big way that he expresses his adoration, and is one of the easiest for him to do.

He’s actually really good at picking up other people’s emotions. It’s actually one of the biggest reasons why he hates working at the library as he did with Lobotomy Corporation. He hates seeing others suffer, because it makes his heart churn.

For this reason, if you ever seem to be a bit insecure about a specific thing he might joke about then he will catch on almost immediately. He’ll probably confront you later just to make sure that everything is okay, and get clarification.

But it’s not just for when he’s being playful. If you’re having a rough day in general then he will absolutely be able to tell, whether you want him to know or not. He understands that sometimes you don’t want someone to pry, or don’t want to talk about it at the moment, and he won’t push you too.

Actually really great at comforting. For all the times you’ve helped him through depressive states, he’s absolutely going to return the favor. He understands how it feels to be miserable, even if he doesn’t know the specific reason why, and will try to get you to feel better.

He comforts a lot through physical touch. Sitting down together, just embracing each other in a heavy yet comfortable silence. He isn’t the best at speaking and using his words to cheer you up, but he tries. And when he does talk, he can say some really memorable things.

If you both struggle with something, I think you help use one another to encourage each other to improve. When you’re not isolated things can seem a lot more approachable.

If you are both artists then I feel bad for the mess of colors that you’re going to have to clean up. In all seriousness though, I think that having someone who has a similar passion as he does results in a lot of fun. He’d love to see anything you create and try to interpret what it means, if it does have a meaning.

If you’re creative in other ways besides painting or drawing, that’s wonderful too! If anything, Netzach might ask for you to teach him. Be it woodburning, woodcarving, sculpting, pottery, embroidering, sewing, knitting, crocheting, cooking, decorating, or something else he’s fully willing to try it out.

If ever you use him for a reference in something you create, he just savors it forever. He may know how to respond to comments better, but for you to build something specifically for him that you put your heart into it’s just on another level.

He understands what it’s like to put emotion into a creation, as well as how challenging it can be. You don’t have to worry about it being ‘good’ or ‘bad’ because it’s beautiful to him.

You know the little chartreuse humanoid blob creatures that run around? They’re actually adorable and it’s even cuter because you’ll notice that Netzach will just be doing completely normal things and they’ll be hanging out on his shoulder or head.

Sometimes when the two of you are relaxing with each other, one might come up and squeeze in to sit in between you. You’ve begun naming them too in order to keep track. The other patron librarians don’t understand how you can so easily tell which is which.

If you both are busy on opposite ends of the floor, he might send one of the little critters with a note in hand. The poor thing can bareful pick the paper envelope up, but when you see them heading towards you, you immediately know who it’s from.

Of course there’s something scrawled out that’s completely sweet in it, talking about how if you two didn’t have work you could be hanging out instead. He’s being blatantly dramatic, but it doesn’t stop from getting a laugh out of you.

It’s like passing notes in class. Who knows, maybe you’ll write a response too and get the little guy to deliver it to him.
