Altogether I had 10 of these sample packets of the @itcosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye eye cream. This was a very nice, thick eye cream and each packet last me about a week meaning I got about 2.5 months from the samples. #HaircareEmpties . I have SO many empties that I have gotten behind on reviewing for you guys. . 👍 @batiste_us @batiste_hair Dry Shampoo hint of color Brunette. This is a good affordable dry shampoo and I do like that the powder has brown coloring to keep my dark hair from getting a white cast. I wouldn't say this is holy grail but I haven't found one that is for me yet. . 👍 @itsa10haircare Miracle Leave-In plus Keratin. I really enjoyed this. It made my wet hair easy to comb through and left it softer, shinier, and more manageable without weighing it down. Declutter! This @dove Oxygen Moisture shampoo and conditioner worked well and got my hair clean and soft but I cannot take the scent. When you open the lid and smell it, it doesn't seem off but everytime I use it - I do not like the smell of my hair at all. These are about half way full but I don't want to continue using something that I don't like the smell of. 😕 . #MakeupEmpties . 👉 @covergirl Clump Crusher by Lasblast. I used up another mascara from my #openmascarachallenge. This does what it says with respect to not clumping. It is an ok mascara but I like dramatic length and volume. This was a more natural looking mascara. If you like a more natural look this is for you but I do not see myself repurchasing. . 👍 @bitebeauty Agave Lip Mask. I have gone through 3 or 4 of these and always love them. I still have a tinted one open and love it as well. #SkincareEmpties . I used up 2 makeup removers. I went through a @garnierusa Micellar Cleansing Water and a @boscia Make-up Break-up Cool Cleansing Oil. I enjoy both of these and already have a backup of each one. #BeautyEmpties . This came as a set with my Pink Sugar purfume. This hair purfume was basically a body spray marketed to spray your hair. When I ran out of the purfume (see past empty and review post), I used this as a body spray. This is a super sweet scent that I liked and often recieved complements on. #BeautyEmpties . 👍 @blowpro_hair Blow Out Spray. I believe I got this in one of my sample bags and I am so glad I did. This is one of the best hairsprays I have ever used. It is an incredibly fine mist which allows for great hold with no crunch and no wet spots. I plan to look at repurchasing this when I need another hairspray. . 👍 @mariobadescu AHA Botanical Body Soap. Look back through my instagram for the full review but I love this stuff and already have multiple back ups! . 👎 @farsalicare Volcanic Elixer. I didn't love this stuff. It was a very heavy oil compared to what I generally like to wear at night. It also smelled far too "earthy" for me. In addition, it majorly stung if it got into my eyes and since I like to be able to rub my eyes this happened too often for me. I absolutely hate when any product that goes on the face stings the eyes since it is bound to get in there every now and again. #BeautyTipTuesday ❤ A couple weeks back I showed you how to use a Ferrero Rocher container to create Colour Pop storage. Smaller items can roll around too much in the wider container so I was on the hunt for something that would work to hold my @maccosmetics pigments, glitters, and some other loose pigment containers I had. I found these bead storage containers at Joann Fabric store (can also find at Michaels or on @amazon). It was filled with tiny bead containers which I set aside to use for samples, etc. This has worked great to house my pigments/glitters and has made it so easy for me to be able to see what I have and make use of it. The downside of #FoilFebruary 🙁 I sadly did not like these products. . The @lancomeofficial DreamTone serum wss just blah. This didn't really feel like it was doing anything so for the cost I will go for something else. . The @supergoop City Sunscreen Serum was awful. It would have given me 3 uses but I tossed it after 2 because it clogged my pores so much that it caused me to break out in tiny, red, itchy bumps all over my cheeks. For something that calls itself a serum, it felt thick and sticky and had a heavy sunscreen scent. @tataharper Regenerating Cleanser. This cleanser smells SO good! It literally smelled like Fruit Loops. Not only did it smell amazing, but I really enjoyed how effective it was. It has texture in it that allows it to gently exfoliate while also removing all last traces of makeup (did use a makeup remover before cleansing). #TipTuesday . Many sample packets have a ton of product in them but it can be difficult to squeeze out only a small amount. Once squeezed out, it's almost impossible to get it back into the packet. Also, since there is no way to seal the packet up, you risk the product drying out. You can buy these small bead storage jars from a craft store for next to nothing or can buy slightly larger versions from most Walmart or Target stores in the travel beauty section for about $0.50. Squeeze the sample product into the small jar and it allows you to use only the amount needed each time, letting you get far more out of the sample. @glamglow Youthcleanse Daily Exfoliating Cleanser. This mud to foam facewash was a sample I recieved, I believe from @sephora. I don't think I ever would have used this if not for this sample. I found that it smells amazing, cleans wondefully, and is an all around fantastic cleanser. I used this after using a makeup remover and found that it took all last traces of makeup off and gently exfoliated (due to a small amount of texture) without being too aggressive or drying.
