Guess I fell into the Project SEKAI brainrot-

I made a wheel generated Unit Swap while bored, but I ended up being invested in those idiots, and here I am with my first group- I present you the Leo/Need equivalent of this AU, called 神秘 Mountain (Shinpi Mountain)! A school band composed of people who could not abandon music, some trivia just under !

As I’m also new to pjsk and would like to make friends, I created a discord server you can find just here! The sever focus not only on this AU, but on Unit Swap AUs in general (as I’m weak to them), and anyone with an Unit Swap AU can have their own channel !

Some trivia about the band :

- Ichika is the leader, the order is Ichika -> Minori -> Akito -> An.

- In this AU, Saki never got better, and after seeing how lonely Ichika was, her parents transferred her to Kamikou for high school.

- Minori also failed her exams because of her training as an idol, and ended up having to transfer at Kamikou.

- An and Akito met each other in middle school, and teamed up for a while to surpass RAD WEEKEND, but after An accidentally found out about Nagi’s death shortly before their entrance in high school, they have stop singing in Vivid Street, feeling too betrayed to come back.

- Minori is in Akito’s class, I haven’t decide for Ichika though.

- It is very oversimplified, but they formed for a contest of school bands, and they represent Kamikou. Their band name is actually a reference to Kamikou, as 神秘 have the kanji of 神 (god) that you find in 神山 Kamiyama, and the second kanji, 山, means « mountain ».

- Their SEKAI is an old Japanese school, which seems haunted. This SEKAI scares An a lot at first. (Some of the future vocaloids are straight up ghosts) It is born from everyone feelings.

- The base vocaloids are Miku and Kaito. Miku is a bit mischievous, while Kaito is kind of a respectable senpai.

- They’re all at least asexuals. Bonus for Ichika, who is big Aroace, who doesn’t understand why the heck people are so into romance.

- Akito learns the keyboard from Ken, in order to compose songs. An learned the bass from her dad or Nagi. Minori learned the drums for an idol audition.

Hi hi! Welcome to The Wonderful Nightstage! We’re a theatre troup performing in Pheonix Wonderland, on the nightstage, formerly known as the wonderstage. We put on plays, most of the time with a dark twist, ooooooooooooo. I hope you’ll come see one of our plays one day!

So The Wonderful Nightstage is an au where all the n25 characters end up in a theatre troup similar to wxs. If someone wants to make their group swap au in the same universe as Nightstage that would be cool.

Things to note about this au:

Kanade manages to stop her father from going into his coma which resulted in her having a better life and going to Miyajou

Instead of Mafuyu’s mom being a stay at home mom and Mafuyu’s dad always being at work, their roles are swapped, so while most of the time Mafuyu just sees her dad, the negative influence of her mom is still there. She also has a more cheery natural voice, and not much of a fake polite voice. Fun fact: this whole au started because I thought of mafudad malewife

Ena never tells her dad about wanting to go to art school. She still doesn’t get in but at least she’s not called talentless

Mizuki gets judged less in school i guess. I’m trying to give them all happier endings similar to how in most wxs as n25 au’s they get bad endings so

Mod goes by they/them, Kanade goes by she/her (might experiment with she/they at some point), Mafuyu goes by she/her (transmasc but doesn’t know yet and probably won’t figure out at any point in the story), Ena goes by she/her, and Mizuki goes by they/she.

Hiiii! I’m Mizuki Akiyama, leader of The Wonderful Nightstage and outfit and mechanical prop designer. I like designing outfits, and i learned basic prop mechanics from my friend in middle school! That’s all I really have to say I think

Hello. I’m Kanade Yoisaki, director of The Wonderful Nightstage. At first I didn’t want to be an actor and just wanted to work behind the scenes. I like composing and make a soundtrack for our plays aswell as directing.

Day 5 - Swap

Aight, I'm kinda tired so I'm gonna wait to give the whole big lore drop, but here's some stuff about my Project Sekai unit swap AU.

All the cutouts are courtesy of @prosekaiuwu, aside from the VBS Miku, MMJ Miku, and Luka heads (which I cut out myself).

Groups:

COLLAGE

A performance squad that blends wildly different sounds together. The roots the respective members have in classical, idol pop, musical soundtracks, and street songs are all honored in their new sound.

Genre: Mixed

Faded Smiles

Many smiles and cheery sounds, though the lyrics they sing often have deeper meanings. Each member has loved and lost... you can hear it in their voices if you listen long enough.

Genre: Indie Pop

The lyrics are distorted, the melody is crisp yet echoing. The nostalgia for childhood from an observer far away. The sound of crystal and glass.

Heartbreak Re-Take

Lone souls put their hearts together in this band. Half rough around the edges, half polished to perfection. The songs call out, the music tells you that it will all be okay.

Genre: Shoegaze

Monochrome (K)Nights

There's a story to every tune, and a hundred more they could tell. Three members of different background and talents work together to immersive each passersby. Every day a new tale is woven.

Genre: Lyrical (with aspects of musical numbers and indie)

Serpent Intent

Mythology, folklore, and tradition are at the core of this group. They pay homage to what has brought them to this point in life with music that carries one through time itself. The wings of a butterfly... the words of a serpent.

Genre: New Wave

Haruka enrolled at Kamiyama instead of Miya Girls. She's in class 1C with Akito, and he ends up shooing some nosy classmates away from her a couple times.

RIP to the Wonder Stage, the source of the easiest backstory angst for Emu. Sorry hun. (In clearer words: the stage was demolished. I didn't do it because it was easy, but it is easy angst.)

Honami dropped out of Miya Girls early into the year, but was classmates with Emu for a short time. She's doing online courses now.

Honami also doesn't work as a caretaker at all, so definitely not for Kanade.

Kanade was going to visit her father in the hospital when she heard piano music from down the hall. She ended up in the ward Saki stayed in and saw Saki at the piano. Kanade listened for a bit, but Saki couldn't play for long because of her health. Kanade left, but she didn't forget the song Saki played.

Ichika couldn't always make it out to visit Saki at the hospital. Thus, she ended up giving some notes and gifts to Tsukasa so he could deliver them. The two had an excuse to spend some time together, which was equally appreciated. Ichika and Tsukasa were both kinda lonely, so it was nice to have someone around.

Ena ended up needing to go to extra lessons before her night classes, which Tsukasa also was a part of. Ena immediately would say Tsukasa was annoying, though she admired how bold and upfront he seemed to be.

Though Ena and Tsukasa weren't really friends, Tsukasa was one of the few students in their extra class who went out of his way to speak to everyone. He was one of the only people Ena had interacted with at school. When Ena got forced back into day classes and put into class 2A with Tsukasa, he immediately offered to help her get used to the new schedule. Ena's fate was sealed. She became friends with Tsukasa.

Shizuku can play violin. Look at her. Violin. Shizuku. Yes.

Mizurui friendship in middle school. Mizuan friendship in their first year of high school. Rui transfered to Kamiyama, falling back in with Mizuki, and now An. Mizuruian rooftop trio.

(M(K)N was the first group I came up with. I really liked the way An and Mizuki looked in the knight costumes? (I don't remember what it's called, but it's in the base game, no card unlocks.) So I added Rui in there, and I loved that group ever since. What a dynamic. I could see them going roller skating on the weekends.)

Serpent Intent: also known as, how much can I angst Minori while building that Miya class 1A group? I mean, there will be Shiho and Kohane angst too. But the start of the group is built on Minori angst.

Kohane will totally get a glow up, and it's [hopefully] going to be a bit different from her VBS one.

I said this would be simple. I think I lied to myself. Well I'm gonna call it here for now, but I'm totally going to put up some more about this AU, so stay tuned! And I'm open to questions/asks too. Thanks for checking this out!

Unit Leader Swap Au: Ichika Hoshino!

I posted an au concept as a response to an ask on my Pjsk au side blog, where the five unit leaders are the leaders of different units. And I really liked that idea, so I decided to take a crack at some au unit designs for them. First on our list is Ichika Hoshino, leader of Nightcord at 25:00.

I probably won't do anything else with this au aside from these visual designs, because I do not have the motivation to actually think about all the ramifications of this, let alone write anything about them, but I hope you like this much at least.

Minori is gonna be up next. Not sure when I'll finish her design- probably in a few days at least- but I'll try to have her posted eventually, lol.

i think the wall is most accurate to v#m’s mannerisms while performing so here is them in the wall as a treat while i rant about their stage presence

mizuki has a really energetic stage presence, in real life they are just the vocalist and dont play an instrument but prsk doesnt give me the luxury of that for this mv BUT uhh yeah they move around a lot they love interacting with their bandmates while singing which is why the wall is good especially because they turn towards each other a lot

rui is like the exact opposite and its a little bit to do with the fact he is the least experienced with performing and isn’t suuper comfortable onstage he can play fine but playing in front of others is a whole different struggle. he will typically just stand in one place he turns sometimes and interacts with mizuki a lot but otherwise bro is a statue (this changes as he gets more comfortable onstage and i imagine this would be reflected in 3dmvs of theirs as time goes on)

akito and mizuki are pretty evenly matched energy wise with the difference being akito is kind of forced to stay in one spot but he’s really really energetic onstage this mv is pretty good at representing what i think hed perform like

shiho usually kind of stays in one place but shes really comfortable with the stage so instead of it being an “oh my god what is going on i cant move” (rui) she definitely gives off an air of confidence
