Akira likes streaming with you.

You both started with meeting each other through an rpg game, agreeing to become his mod, becoming friends, and then meeting in real life and falling in love. It was a normal cliche love story about two gamers falling for each other in your point of view, what about Akira's point of view?

It remains a secret.

You always wondered how he knew all of your favorite things right off the bat, how he knew your awkward gestures, your hobbies and all of that. Maybe he was just really attentive to the things you did..

Akira wasn't a stalker.

He's sweet, he always takes care of you, putting your wants over his. Both of you communicate when something goes wrong, you balance everything. It was a perfect and a normal relationship.

At least that's what you thought.

"Hey chat, guess who's home!" Akira suddenly brightened, focusing on the game even more as he patiently waited for the same sentence he always heard every single day. Of course, he'd never get tired of it, never.

"I'm home!" A muffled voice could be heard in the background.

About the said ‘Akira is probably just really attentive’ towards you.. let's expand a little bit on that.

The first time you met each other at a nearby Cafe, you were surprised. The pictures of Akira on discord didn't do justice to what he looks like in real life, this guy was walking around as if he just came out of a red carpet..

Aside from that, his personality was still the same as online. Teasing, snarky, he's still got that attitude, and of course playful — he was the fun type you'd want to be friends with. But, he really was your type.

You couldn't resist glancing towards his neck from time to time, hell — you couldn't even make eye contact without being mentally flustered. "Is something wrong?" He'd ask, but you'd immediately shake your head and go along with what he's saying.

I mean, Akira didn't know your address, why are you asking why he knew the way back to your home? He used to live here.

"W-woah.. we have more in common than I thought!" You beamed while Akira smiled softly, it looks like his hard work did pay off. All that late night searching, perfecting and practicing — it was worth it in the very end because you were finally here.

Akira could see you, touch you, feel you, make you feel things you've never felt — ah, how he wishes he could go back in time just to see your horrified expression when you almost got doxxed by someone anonymous.

Of course, he was the one to comfort you at the time, the way you opened up to him about everything, finally letting him know of your feelings.. It was worth every little thing he had worked hard for.

It didn't matter if he had a small or huge fan base what mattered was you being right beside him, experiencing hardships and hope. Akira could do anything, he could try his best — he's not perfect, he has many flaws he'll admit that.

But..

It was worth it if it was you.

Akira was glad that the world hasn't ended yet. Not that it would happen any time soon but — he'd want to be next to you even if it was a life or death situation.

"I'm rating you 1 star for the effort. You suck." Akira tapped on the tablet aggressively, while you squirmed right next to him, trying to desperately get your phone case back on — fumbling quite badly.

Small, little update on the situation I described in this and that post.

I was serious when I said I am no longer willing to indulge toxic Sasuke stans. Specifically, those that display a shipper-type level of hate and entitlement. I am not willing to provide them with wholesome Sasuke content just to find out they are blocking me for no reason or even publically insulting me behind my back.

If I see any further Itachi hate posts made by Sasuke stans (I am not talking about criticism, I am talking about hate, specifically derogatory comments), the authors are gonna get blocked, same with anybody interacting with them.

I know that whenever I post Sasuke content, I am likely to invite Itachi haters. But I simply do not want Itachi haters (or bullies for that matter) on my blog. And that's it.

For the asks, do you have any ideas with kingdom hearts characters you think don't interact enough?

RIKU AND ROXAS!!!!! like theres plenty of characters i think could have really interesting dynamics (repliku and roxas is another big one although i only want that in a scenario where we disregard that 3 ever fucking happened) but those two are my biggest. i think riku and roxas dont have NEARLY enough interactions and honestly? im scared for if they get any more because i think nomura will just??? forget that they have any drama????????? anyways while i really want rikus character to just be mostly over with since i think hes finished his arc, if they want to give him anything new to work on i think his relationship with roxas could be a really good dynamic for something about forgiveness. and i think itd fit thematically for rikus character arc, what with his whole story having been about accepting and forgiving himself.

so, i give you my ideal scenario for the roxas and riku dynamic. id like them to have a background arc in 4. they could spend a lot of time together, maybe looking for sora in quadratum or something else that would require them to be around each other a lot. and i think itd be really fun if they had a very one sided hatred. at some point offscreen during or after kh3, riku has apologized to roxas for you know. beating him up and kidnapping him. and thought roxas would forgive him. roxas very much has not forgiven him. hes still angry and keeps being casually rude to riku because i dont think roxas forgives easily. over the course of the story though id want them to start actually getting closer. its hard to stay angry at someone whos not returning that energy at all, and i think itd be fun if they eventually actually became friends. maybe sometime in the middle of it all riku realizes his apology didnt get through to roxas because he didnt really mean it when he said it (after all, i dont think he WAS actually sorry about what he did. hed do it again if he had to). i want them to be friends, sure, but id like them to have to actually put in the work to GET to being friends. ok thats all thank you for cuing my roxas and riku rant

I know multiple of these are likely important to people, but I'm asking in terms of like - which of these do you tend to focus on the MOST, enjoy the most, that is most essential for you to actually care about the media, etc.?

(For example: someone finding "Relatability" most important would likely not enjoy a show much if they have trouble empathizing with the characters/relating to it, even if it were good otherwise. Or, someone might be able to overlook bad acting and ugly costumes, as long as the Character Dynamics are fun to them, because they value that more than Aesthetics- while for others, bad costumes would be a dealbreaker.)

Also feel free to reblog and explain your answer or more information in the tags- I've always been curious about people's relationships to media, how they conceptualize it/what they get out of it, how some people value some parts more than others, how that informs their overall taste and genres they may be more inclined towards, etc. :0c

i love how she loves. it’s just like. she is SO compelling to me. all she wants is to have people to care about. she wants to be kind and loving and present and loved and she feels bad for imposing but then gives herself to the people who ask her to. she was so alone on an island of people who would’ve been glad to be there for her, but it doesn’t even occur to her to reach out. when she and roier moved in together i saw their relationship, how they were with each other, how they loved and prioritized and cared for one another without a hint of romance, and thought “yes! that’s it! this is what i want for myself and it’s real and it’s possible!”

and all this rambling just to conclude. my favorite thing about her is that she makes me feel seen.
