I just will never get used to elfshi's hands being Like That. But it's also kinda nice to see him and Izutsumi working along so nicely! Like, don't even get me started on how Izu is presented as the pickiest eater of the party (Marcille has been dethroned severely) and usually you'd see that presented as a Hassle, but here in DM, Senshi doesn't even bat an eye. He knows and respects Izutsumi's tastes and preferences and works his meals out around it! That's such a based thing for him to do. <3

I know they're really fucking competent, I mean, Namari and Toshiro are already described as pretty formidable warriors (and we've seen it), and Kabru is... admittedly much more geared to fight humans but he's a decent fighter either way. And a good leader!

I finished my second quilt! It's for my grandma :)

Like the first quilt I made, I just used charm packs - bundles of pre-cut fabric squares with patterns that go well together.

I used two charm packs (5" squares, not 10") from Fat Quarter Shop. Would recommend! Not expensive, lots of pretty packs, and fast shipping. The light blue and light maroon border and back are just whatever Joann printed cottons, and the binding is plain black cotton.

Using charm packs definitely made this project pretty easy. Just arrange the squares in a pretty pattern and sew them together (well, there are smart ways of doing that, and owning an iron is highly recommended, but whatever). I hand-sewed the binding this time. It was actually way easier and faster than I thought it would be.

Ok this is just 8 pages of nonsense. 😭

This is entirely inspired by the fact that I do not think Hyrule would see the Master Sword as a stronger sword than the Magic Sword. Cool and special? Sure. Stronger than the Magic Sword? Not so much. The color coding in zelda1 is really really strong (save for tektites mostly) and from that I feel like Hyrule will use the red=good blue=bad logic for lots of things.

Now, do I think that the Magic Sword is stronger than the Master Sword? No, especially if it is Sky's hot-off-the-press master sword. In Hyrule's hands I think the Magic Sword is at least on par with the Master Sword (remember his strength stat is maxed and also Hyrule is constantly wearing a power bracelet??(which I never draw lol).

Also this is so low quality but I don't think this concept deserves anything better lol.

I love imagining the most tragically evil characters with features that remind you they were once innocent.

Garmadon with dimples, and wrinkles around his eyes from how much he smiles.

Morro with wide innocent eyes and a resting face that looks like a clueless child.

Harumi with rosy pink cheeks and laugh lines.

Arin with bushy brows that furrowed when he was concentrated and glittering eyes every time he’s excited.

And Oni Lloyd with soft green eyes as the rest of him is morphed into a monster no one can recognise.

And its sad to think that during the phase of their life where they were at their worst, when hope was no longer an option and they had to hold their fate and morph it with their own hands, that you could only ever see the shadow of those features.

Yet, when they are given a hand to reach for and a chance to grow and a chance to be the person they really want to be, everyone ends up blinded by the glimmers of a fleeting past they no longer remember. So much stronger, as if the dust was being removed and masks were being broken.
