For as long as she could remember, guilt was all she could feel. It roamed in her head like a plague that threatened to spread further and further, soon to take over her body and be in complete control. Why is it that she felt so guilty?

When she hadn't done anything wrong.

"F/n?" The sound of her name brought her back to reality. She stared at the familiar pair of heterochromia eyes as they worriedly looked at her. That's right, she had forgotten she was in class.

"Are you okay?" Shoto asked as he eyed his childhood friend. He continued to stare at her as she stared blankly at him.

She blinked, then let out a small smile, embarrassingly scratching her cheek, "Sorry, I didn't get enough sleep last night. I was replaying the movie I had watched in my mind and I guess you caught me spacing out."

Her friend shook his head, "I texted you last night to sleep. I'm assuming you disregarded my message, right?"

"Yeah, sorry. I was really into the movie." She said as she let out another chuckle. Ahead, she watched as Denki messed around with Katsuki. She sat near her friends as they waited for their classmates to enter and for their homeroom teacher to begin class.

The bi-colored hair male looked at the side of her face. Her eyebags had seemed to get larger. Just yesterday they seemed fine, but it almost looked like she had been crying which concerned the male. Especially since he knew her history, “Have you been taking your medications?”

She glanced at him again, rolling her eyes in the process with a smile, “Yes, dad. One last night and one this morning. My next one is tonight, like always.”

His worriedness washed away as he smiled, a tiny smile that he only held for her, “I’m just making sure. You always forget to take it.”

“Well, I took it this time, alright?” She said, looking away from him, “I’ll make sure to message you again tonight.” 

Next to her, Tenya let out a disappointed sigh as he readjusted his glasses. He shook his head as he watched the boys roughly mess around, "Almost two years and they still don't know how to behave. How absurd."

Shoto, who after finishing his conversation with F/n, scrolled through his phone, "I think they were just born like that."

Ochaco giggled as Katsuki grabbed a fistful of Denki's hair and shook him, "I don't know, it's kind of entertaining."

"And also reckless." Tenya motioned his hands up and down, "They're almost adults and yet they behave like children."

"Again," Shoto placed his phone down, "I think they were born like that. Or maybe dropped as a kid."

While Ochaco giggled at Shoto's comment, F/n smiled at him, "Look at you trying to be funny. New year, new you, huh?"

"It's also very rude." Tenya added.

Shoto smiled, ignoring the navy-haired male, "Was I being funny?"

"Guess new you still don't understand humor." Ochaco said as she let out a content sigh.

Three months into their second year of school and yet everyone is the same. That didn't bother the h/c haired girl. Though, she did wish some people like Katsuki would change their attitude. However, she does wonder if this year will be different.

She hoped for it to be a good difference.

"Oh, right." Ochaco perked up, "Have you guys heard?"

The three friends raised their brows, "Heard what?"

She smiled, "Apparently, we have a new boy coming to our class!"

"A new student?" Tenya thought for a second, "How come I wasn't informed? I'm the Class Rep."

"It was probably last minute." Shoto pointed out, "Momo would have said something if she knew as well."

F/n agreed, "Yeah, but why are we having a new student? Isn't our class full?"

"Oh, that's right, you haven't heard." Tenya lifted his arm, "Minoru Mineta got expelled last week for his inappropriate actions towards Momo. That's why he hasn't been around. It was time for him to leave anyway."

"Yep! And in return we get a hot, attractive guy to replace him!" Mina, with a big grin, interrupted them as she, Kyoka and Momo entered class.

"How do you even know if he's attractive? You haven't even met him." Kyoka pointed out as she headed for her seat, annoyed at Mina.

"Because I can just feel it!" Mina shouted and laughed as she followed after the purple-haired friend, "Plus, I think I just saw him in the hallway."

Momo shook her head and greeted everyone good morning. Ochaco moved away from her seat and talked to Mina as she squealed about the new kid being hands off. The boys only groaned in annoyance.

"Nobody cares about some damn extra!" Katsuki shouted at her, ensuing an argument.

Tenya continued to shake his head and attempted to deescalate the situation, but unfortunately the argument was turned on him. In their seats, F/n smiled as Shoto eyed his friend, "Aren't you curious who this new kid might be?"

F/n shrugged, "Not really. It's just a new kid. If anything he'll turn out like Denki or Katsuki."

"I would've thought you would be at least a little curious, especially if it's a boy." Shoto added as he looked away from her.

"Aw!" She poked his cheeks, "Are you jealous that I might replace you?"

He huffed lightly with tinted cheeks, "No."

She let go of his face and chuckled, "Don't worry, Shoto. I won't go anywhere. Nothing can ever separate us anyways!"

Right on time, the school bell rang and the classroom door opened and in stepped Mr. Aizawa with a meek kid following behind, "Everyone sit down, I have an announcement to make. This is your new classmate. Please make him feel welcome and what not. Introduce yourself."

"I-I'm Izuku M-Midoriya! Please take care of me!" He bowed down, feeling embarrassed with the sudden attention.

"Oh. He's kind of plain looking." Mina's face fell in disappointment.

Ochaco blushed a little, "He's kind of cute."

"What the hell!?" Katsuki yelled, frightening Izuku, "What are you doing here, Deku!?"

"Oh, good, you know someone." Mr. Aizawa boringly pointed behind F/n, "There's your seat."

Izuku nodded and quickly rushed towards his seat, avoiding Katsuki's death stare. However, as his eyes moved forward, they pinned themselves on F/n. It was only a quick second, but Izuku's breath hitched as she looked at him.

While the lesson continued and played as background, Izuku eyed her back. It had seemed like things were getting harder for him. He was just glad that he had found her once again.

Is it the same as always?

Why can't it be different this time?

As always, there is a lot of work to do.

But for now, Izuku had to think of a way to approach her. Maybe this time, things can go smoothly if cards are played right.

A/N: Sorry, this took so long to answer. College is pilling up on me again. Also, I made Hunter's daughter a teen (15 going on 16) in this because I don't know how to write children who are really young.

"You did what?!" Hunter shrieks, waking you up.

"Hunter, what are you fussing about now?" You ask, getting off the couch.

"Come see what your daughter has danced to on that clock app!" Hunter yells, making their preteen daughter, Melody go into the kitchen.

You look at Lauren dancing and are slightly impressed she can dance so well.

"She got my moves," You say, smirking until you see Hunter's face."But, of course, the lyrics of the song are very inappropriate."

"Mom! That's so unfair! You've danced to much more inappropriate songs when you were on the majorette team when you were my age," Lauren whines, making you go still.

"Oh...true," You mumble, looking away from your eldest daughter.

"Don't use your mother's past against her. You're not going to dance to songs with lyrics like this on the internet for who knows what to save and view. In fact, I'm going to Henry to completely wipe this from the internet," Hunter says, storming out of the house.

You and Lauren look at each other and then laugh.

"How about I cut you a deal? You can still dance, but you join my old majorette team?" You offer, passing your daughter her phone.

"Deal!" Lauren exclaims, hugging you. "I wonder how long it's going to take for Dad to realize that the video of me doing the loli dance trend was in my drafts?"

"Oh, probably a while. Despite your father's job, he's not very smart. I remember when we were dating, I asked Hunter to get me a B-cup bra. He brought me a literal bra with bees on it. I laughed so hard that water spurt out of my nose. The best part was that the bra was an A-cup!" You laugh, making Lauren burst into laughter. "Oh, and then there was the time at our high school graduation, Hunter nearly fell off the front of the stage!"

You and your eldest daughter crack up and eventually stop.

"Mommy, what are we going to do for food?" Melody asks, tugging on your sleeve.

"Hmmm...how about GIRL DINNER!" You scream, making all of your daughters shriek with delight.

You give them your phone and they order their favorite dishes from their favorite restaurants. You pay for the order with Hunter's debit card and go into your room for face masks and salon care.

"Ugh! What does Elliot want now?" Lauren groans, flopping onto the bed. "Oh, Dad wants to know why there were four transactions on his debit card."

You had almost forgotten Henry has children. Elliot VanHelding, the eldest of Henry's children, goes to the same school as Lauren, and Delilah. Not only that, but he seems to fancy Lauren, which makes you worried.

"Just tell him we decided to take a girl's day off," You respond, sipping a strawberry lemonade margarita from the fridge.

"Ok, mom!" Lauren says, high-fiving you.

Hunter receives the text message and smiles a little.

"So, is the video deleted?" Hunter asks Elliot, crouching next to him as his friend's son does his magic.

"Yep! Completely erased from her drafts!" Elliot says, turning around to face Hunter.

"Drafts? So it was never published?"

"Nope."

"I've got to get back to my house."

By the time Hunter had gotten back, you, Lauren, Delilah, and Melody had locked every door, entrance, and window.

"Honey, this isn't funny! Open the door!" Hunter yells, pounding on the door.

"Sorry, babe! It's girl's night now!" You exclaim, shutting the curtains.

Hunter sees you wearing a fake scarf with cheap star-shaped sunglasses and hides a smile. Hunter grabs a pillow and blanket from the trunk and makes a bed for himself in the backseat of his car. He takes in the smell of the blanket and takes comfort in knowing that it smells like your perfume from when you went to the beach with Hunter for the summer before your senior year in college. His mind fills with summer memories, and they carry him to sleep.

I remember when I was around 6 to 8 years old I would often want to check out books from the adult section of the library. I'd look things up in the card catalogue all on my own (librarians were happy to teach me how to do this), write down the call number, and go wandering through the shelves until I found the book I wanted (usually something about dinosaurs or cats). Often, a librarian would ask me if I needed help (probably assuming that six year old kid wandering the adult nonfiction section was lost), and when I told them no they'd leave me be, or if I asked where something was, they'd point me in the right direction.

Not once, ever in my years of wandering the shelves at the library as a small child, did a librarian ever tell me that I shouldn't be in the adult section. A world where six year olds aren't allowed in the adult section of a library is not the world I grew up in, nor is it a world I'd want kids to grow up in today.

There are "adult spaces" as in spaces where adults discuss and do things inappropriate for children (NSFW fandom message boards, for example), and then there are "adult spaces" where children are expected to comport themselves as adults (public libraries, for example).

Libraries are not in the business of restricting access to information, not even for young children.

you seem like a good person with genuinely nice intentions- i also find it really awful when people go "dont bully people because they COULD be autistic" instead of just saying "don't bully people." the idea that someone hates me, or thinks im cringe, but chooses not to be rude to me because i seem autistic to them is way more hurtful than them just bullying me... (obviously the ideal is for them to never bully anyone) and the argument that we shouldn't bully individuals with "childlike/cringe" interests because they might be autistic is really infantalizing, because it assumes that autism and having "childlike/cringe" interests are interlinked when i don't really think that's the case. That means you sent this before all the submissions and DMs once I turned asks off, where people started getting really fucking nasty. I am trying very hard not to hold those people against you, but it has been a long fucking day.

So, I'm trying my best here to be patient and kind when I write this essay, instead of just blocking or reporting you. You seem like you might be willing to listen. Even if you're not, your message makes a good starting point for me.

Because I have two major problems here.

1: Autism absolutely correlates with preferring media aimed at younger audiences.

This is not universal, and it's not because we're ~stupid~. It's nothing to do with """"mental age"""" or whatever trashfire talking points you've heard. You may recognize the more clinical terminology from diagnostics, even. It's a major identifiable symptom called "age-inappropriate interests and behaviours." (I personally prefer age-atypical; the current technical language is still, unfortunately, age-inappropriate.)

These age-atypical interests are caused by combinations of disability related factors including but not limited to:

Children's media has cleaner sound balancing with stronger dialogue tracks that make following the language easier. There also tend to be clearer pauses and tonal cues.

Children's media is often safely predictable in its outcome. Someone may die, but probably not the main hero, for example. This predictability is desirable for many autistic people in a hobby, as it limits distressors.

Language used tends to be plainer, with less reliance on quick flying quips that are hard to hear/read fast enough, or clever implications in screenplay. Many other autistic people love complex "adult" film specifically because they are fluent in screenwriting and enjoy exercising that fluency. Many more autistic people never learned screenplay fluently. Pretending that all autistic people have the same level of fluency in screenplay is not conducive to having a genuine conversation on this subject. All of this information and more is available to you it you associate yourself with non-verbal, less verbal, and intellectually disabled autistic people right here on tumblr.

Children's media is often translated into more languages than adult media, especially with dubbing. Being able to hear and read the dialogue simultaneously is a super basic access issue that autistic people are stuck fighting all the damned time, and kid's shows are some of the very few types of mass accessible pop art that actively enable that.

Speaking of mass access: children's media is often very easy to access, with a tendency towards being hosted on multiple stream sites, broadcasting in syndication, etc. This means more autistic people have access to it, and thus by simple numbers, more of them will enjoy it than niche artforms we are rarely allowed to interact with freely.

Media consumption more broadly is a desirable hobby for many autistic people because it can be done alone or with friends, as one's energy levels allow, and both forms can be similarly gratifying. This is a level of control over socialization that is very rare for most autistic people.

You'll also find trends of autistic people gathering around other subjects that have these qualities, not just children's media. Just off the top of my head, both kink and train collecting meet these standards, particularly as regards control, stressors, and access; both are also famous for being disproportionately autistic.

Indeed, this tendency to gather around accessible, controllable hobbies that can be engaged with alone or in small groups creates the very notion of "cringe."

People don't think watching kid's shows is bad in a vacuum: they think that autistic people are shameful, and thus anything we congregate around is shameful too. Including watching kid's shows.

Pretending that autistic people don't have an above average level of interest in media made for kids is nonsense. It's nonsense. It actively worsens everyone's perception of both the diversity of autistic experiences. You can claim that anti-bullying campaigns are bad for autistic people all you like, but no amount of research has ever or will ever back up that claim.

Either you are lying, or you have been lied to.

Autistic people are so well known for this that it's literally how we are identified socially AND diagnosed medically.

That's the reality.

No matter how much you hate it: other autistic people are still going to be drawn to hobbies you don't share, and they are still going to be abused for it. Including so-called """baby movies."""

Enjoying media you don't is not grounds to say that actually the abuse other people face is made up and doesn't need to be addressed.

Liking kid's shows is morally neutral.

You must acknowledge it as a morally neutral statement of fact, not an accusation of personal failing. Liking kid's shows is no better, no worse, no different from liking mid-16th century tapestry, or artsy experimental music from cities I've never heard of in countries I've never visited.

If you cannot even admit that all non-violent hobbies are equally legitimate, then we have no common ground upon which to continue a discussion.

As long as you operate under the presumption that any autistic who is less complex in their interests than you is not worth acknowledging, then you are not worth this discussion. You can try again when you've learned not to be pro-bullying.

Which brings me to

2: You are still, right now, loudly and proudly insisting that being anti-bullying is Bad Actually.

Once you've accepted the fundamentally morally neutral nature of being into something kinda "cringe," ask yourself why your reaction to anti-bullying campaigns rooted in that neutrality is to separate yourself from the other autistic people demanding to be treated with the basest level of human respect.

To then pass on blatant lies about those people (whether knowingly or by mistake), and claim that they are hurting themselves. To demand that those people "stop hurting themselves" by obeying your rules. Rules that, whether you wish to admit it or not, were very obviously made out of ignorance and will very obviously cause great harm.

Those lies are now fueling hatred of a damn anti bullying campaign. The single most milquetoast conceivable.

Furthermore, this is an anti bullying campaign modeled off some of the most successful abuse interventions for autistic people that have been studied to date. It is a campaign started by other autistic people to protect ourselves from the heaps of ableist abuse we receive daily.

And you loathe it enough to join this cavalcade.

But see: the anti bullying campaigns work. They save lives. They improve quality of life in every measurable field. And they have done for literally decades. This is a closed matter. A proven fact.

Whereas spreading misinformation about the diversity of autistic experiences actively worsens that quality of life. Another proven fact, actually.

Your choice is between a proven benefit to autistic people started by and for us. Or a proven detriment that causes huge amount of death in our community.

And right now, with all your genteel kindness, silk gloves and sweet honey? You've chosen "do the thing that makes autistic people suicidal". Worse, you've convinced yourself that this is a good thing. That increased suicidality and abuse benefits all autistic people because the method thereof happens to benefit you.

I don't know how you think it benefits you. Maybe it makes you feel safer in allistic society. Maybe it just boosts your ego with a rush of vicious justice serving glee. Probably it's something else entirely.

Whatever the reason, you've nevertheless chosen the second most common cause of death among autistic people ages 10-35 as the thing you want to support.

See, telling people not to be abusive shitheads because like 70% of their abuse is rooted in an unexamined hatred of disabled people is not """"shoving politics where it doesn't belong"""" or whatever else. It's identifying and acknowledging the root issue, and attempting to actively address it.

District where custodian is accused of tainting food with feces, urine says it will continue to clean school

An elementary school custodian in Cumberland County is facing multiple charges accusing him of urinating and spitting on school cafeteria cooking utensils, rubbing his genitals on food, spraying bleach on food items and performing sex acts with inanimate objects at the school, all while videoing himself to share online.

Giovanni Impellizzeri, 25, of Vineland, is employed by the Upper Deerfield Township School District and worked at the Elizabeth F. Moore School, which serves students in grades 3 to 5, according to authorities.

Authorities received multiple anonymous tips regarding “alarming posts” Impellizzeri allegedly made in a group chat on the messaging app Telegram, according to court documents.

A tipster reported that Impellizzeri posted videos of himself “performing sexual acts with items from the school, as well as doing things that would endanger the well-being of the students at the school,” police stated.

The videos allegedly show Impellizzeri spraying bleach in a large container of cucumbers, spitting on utensils, rubbing his genitals on utensils and food, and urinating in bowls, according to the affidavit of probable cause filed with the charges.

“Video showed Giovanni Impellizzeri utilized multiple pieces of bread to wipe his penis, testicles, and anus, as well as spitting on the bread, before putting the bread back into the container to be later served to children at the school,” police stated in the affidavit. He was also seen “masturbating and urinating on pillows and kitchen bowls.”

Investigators went to the Elizabeth F. Moore School, which has about 250 students, and verified locations seen in the videos and recovered items matching or resembling those seen in the videos.

Officials are trying to determine if the alleged acts occurred recently or sometime in the past, according to the Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Office. Impellizzeri has been employed by the district since September 2019.

He was charged Tuesday with third-degree aggravated assault, two counts of third-degree tampering with food products, third-degree endangering the welfare of a child, and third-degree attempted endangering the welfare of children. An additional charge of second-degree official misconduct was filed Thursday.

Impellizzeri was placed in Cumberland County Jail pending court hearings. Court records did not list an attorney for Impellizzeri as of Friday morning.

In a message to the school community this week, Upper Deerfield Schools Superintendent Peter Koza indicated the employee was on administrative leave and in police custody, and that the district was cooperating with investigators.

“Based on the information received at this time it has been determined that the alleged inappropriate activity did not involve anyone other than the individual in question and occurred after school hours,” Koza wrote in the message.

Koza did not immediately respond to requests for comment on Friday morning.

The school district is working with the Cumberland County Health Department to ensure food preparation, serving utensils and surfaces have been properly sanitized and any food products in question discarded, according to the prosecutor’s office.

Authorities are taking steps to collect bodily fluid samples from Impellizzeri to determine if there is any potential for infectious disease transmission, officials said.

“Once a determination is made, notification and next steps will be provided by the health department to ensure the health and safety of those involved,” the prosecutor’s office said.

The health department recommended individuals contact their healthcare provider if they suspect any illness.

“Once we have lab results, both body fluid specimens and any food samples collected, we will be able to provide more information and direction. We also need timeframe verification,” said Cumberland County Health Officer Megan Sheppard. “For now, parents and those involved should contact their healthcare provider if they show signs of illness, particularly severe illness.

“We will be sure to provide further direction as more information becomes available.”

Although Nick/Butch probably intended the show to appeal to preteen boys, kids never actually liked this show very much. The actual audience for this show is and has always been mostly older teenage girls and young women in their twenties. Like no "little kids" are looking up DP fanfiction, certainly not today when the show has been off the air for years. The fans of this show are older teens and adults, and I enjoy indulging my mature interests with like-minded people.

Best Spot for a Nap - scfwhip

It was meant to be a bit shorter but I got another idea so it got a bit longer.

'Go hang out with your fiancé,' his parents told Scott, to his brother's dismay. Unfortunately for Xor, Scott was more than happy to fly to Grimlands to escape all his classes and other princely duties.

First thing he did in Grimlands was, as always, fly a bit over the area. It was dang pretty if a lot less noisy and dusty than one word expect. Not that noise would be any trouble with how high up Scott liked to fly.

Once he was satisfied with flying he flew towards fWhip's manor. It was pretty and comfy enough for Scott's standards and his cooks made excellent tartlets in many flavoursome. As he neared the mansion he spotted fWhip's helpers running around like headless chickens, looking up to the roof. With burning curiosity he checked there first and found...

Count fWhip, the terrifying half-dragon ruler of Grimlands... Spread out on the roof of his home. Having a pleasant nap judging by how he was purring a little bit.

Holding back giggles Scott sat next to him and started playing with his hair. Scratching at the base of his impressive, decorated with dark metal, gold and gems horns. That got him really purring and Scott could no longer hold back his giggles.

To his credit Scott didn't once complain he was bored or tired. Even after two hours in fWhip's office as the count goes over boring paperwork. At least his staff was used to fWhip's constant snacking so they didn't mind supplying Scott with candy and cookies.
