Some Godwyn sketches that were living in my head rent free after reading a lore theory on reddit. It theorized that Godwyn was ascending to godhood by becoming a true dragon, in alignment with the myth of the koi fish swimming up stream until it became a dragon.

So I played around with that design as if it were a phase shift in his boss fight, with his weird oyster face opening up and revealing his true form, a rancid deathblight dragon.

Also playing around that the oyster face isn't Godwyns real face, but rather just like a real oyster, with Godwyns head is being reformed within it much like like what happens in real oysters when they make pearls (instead of calcium it's deathblight, and the "outside particle" is Godwyns corpse being covered and changed to create the Prince of Death.) (This is also like... visually could be compared to Griffith being rebirthed through the red behelit into Femto, since I know Miyazaki loves that Berserk stuff)

A Prince's body is made of pure tempered glass. So you would be eating non-edible glass. Not only this, but your jaw would not be able to break its body unless you bit its tail, at which point it would explode and cause severe lacerations straight on your mouth and jaw area, if it does not kill you outright from the force of the bursting. At which point whether or not the glass is edible would be the least of your problems.

They had a bit of a chance encounter on a day where Blueblood was dealing with something that was very difficult and was so caught up in his emotions he didn’t even care that he was in the garden getting grass stans on his coat and Ditzy, with her natural impulse to cheer ponies up, didn’t even notice or care that she was flying into the palace gardens when she saw someone sat in the rain.

At first he was definitely going to call the castle guards to come apprehend this strange filly with the odd eyes who was intruding when this was the last moment he’d want to entertain any desperate debutantes, however she surprised him by not fawning or anything, not even caring about his status, just putting one of her fluffy wings up and asking if he needed somepony to lend an ear.

“Don’t let my eyes fool you, my ears work just fine!”

She was incredibly disarming and while he didn’t reveal everything about why he was upset, he found himself talking about his feelings to her. And she made such cheerful remarks, and was very comforting. In the end, he felt better and she came to check on him the next day, even sharing a blueberry muffin with him. He remarked that he’d never seen her around before, and that he wouldn’t mind terribly seeing her more often.

The rest, as they say, is history.

The Argument (aka Watch as These Two Nerds Fight Over Whether Ghosts or Aliens Spirits or Yokai are Real).

It's Dandadan AU time! A bit of lore:

Spirits are supernatural creatures who govern over certain aspects of our world (like Agni is a Sun spirit while Hei Bai is a forest). Yokai are the corrupted souls of humans who suffered in terrible ways, and were unable to move on to the afterlife—thus becoming something else.

Most people can't tell the difference between a spirit and a yokai. These two dorks, though? They're painfully aware of it.

between the unknown origins, the "welcome home", randomly knowing celestial and having no clue why - hell, surviving having his heart ripped out? correct me if im wrong but i don't think the rest of widows crew were human even before being undead. i don't know if a regular human could survive that! (the two that give me pause on that is the musician and the girl in the dungeon but i digress)

jay and gillion are related to the sun and moon (and in jays case, that really big tree on her mom's side) and chip is drawn to both them and the hole in the sea. his entire life has revolved around getting to that point and it says "welcome home"?? his friends are related to all these great divine powers and he's "just some guy"????

A Brief Analysis of Elden Ring's Miquella

Miquella is a manifestation of the childish question: "why can't we all just get along?"

His power to "charm" others is an answer to that question, and what makes it so frightening is that everyone IS happier when under the charm's effects; they arguably become much kinder versions of themselves, but that forced compassion is its own form of tyranny. You can't make people get along without removing their autonomy.

Miquella likely recognized this once, as with one notable exception there's no record of him ever forcing his will upon others within the Lands Between. It was only after trying and failing to save Malenia, Godwyn, and the Lands Between itself that his desperation to have ANY impact on things made him forsake his morals and take control of Mohg's mind.

Miquella came to believe his curse of eternal nascence was responsible for his impotence. He told himself if he could just break free of his youth, he'd finally be able to help everyone like he always wanted. What he didn't realize was that adulthood comes at the price of childhood innocence, and by forcing himself to grow up, he was leaving behind everything that once defined him. The curse was a part of who he was, and to hate it was to hate himself.

We never truly meet Miquella in-game, because Miquella lies in pieces scattered across the Realm of Shadow. Instead we find something that claims to be him, even as it stands in opposition to everything he believed in.

His story is a cautionary tale about the dangers of self-sacrifice. You cannot aid others by burning yourself out, and you cannot love others if you do not love yourself. Miquella allowed his selflessness to destroyed him, and in doing so he ultimately harmed all those he wished to help.
