it seems that something's going on about the current vbs event and story. i haven't been able to update on the jp events aside from some of niigo, can i ask what's currently happening here??

VBS IS SURPASSING RAD WEEKEND. Their whole thing since Burn My Soul has been doing these tasks that Ken gave to them so that they'd be able to surpass it. An had to sort out her feelings with Kohane, Akito had to hype everyone up about VBS' return and goals (and sort out his inferiority issues and perfectionism along the way), and Toya had to make songs for their event (it sounds boring but first concerto was a really good event please read it). During that time they've got Kotaro and Tatsuya back since they quit following LUTF. Arata is still MIA and it was heavily foreshadowed in BREAK DOWN THE WALL that Arata's Feelings would be dealt with in a Toya event but looks like we're gonna get him back now??? Maybe they'll deal with his emotional baggage later bc this is VBS arc ender 3 (presumably) so they've gotta do SOMETHING for the next several years.

#if I speak…#one of the girls walked out yesterday #the best worker we have is on the verge of blowing up on this bitch’s leaders bc since he can do everything quick and efficiently already #they’re putting 3 to 4 ppl’s workloads on him to see how far they can extend his worth and then they’re over his shoulder the whole time #micromanaging him so today he almost lost it and was literally walking around mumbling about his disrespectful they all are (facts)#and how if they don’t think he’s doing it right then they can do it and I know for a fact one of the ladies heard him #bc he wasn’t even trying to hide it at this point and like this dude is cool he has a lot of patience and helps out any way he can #so if HE’S on the brink of snapping then the rest of us don’t stand a chance LMFAO #anyways today was a fucking mess those leaders know nothing about our store yet so they have us making less than what we need until we need #it so we get behind constantly and they made prep a disaster bc again they think they can just prep a bunch of stuff in the morning #and it’ll last the whole day and yes that works in theory but the reality of the situation is every day is different and today #we sold double what we did yesterday so they had to move me to prep to fix their mistakes bc we were running out of stuff 4 hours in lmfao #and I’m the only one left who knows how to do everything on prep bc the other girls had never done it before #we’re supposed to prep 20 mac n cheese trays in the morning for the whole day #we open lunch at 10:30 tell me why I go into the cooler at 12 put more in the oven and there’s only 5 left #it’s been less than 2 HOURS and you’re already running out of macs which means those idiots prepped barely anything just to try and save mo #*money to cut down waste but that gag if you’re losing money bc now you’re short on everything and customers are leaving bc they’re having #to wait a long time for their food #and macs take 40 minutes to cool LMFAO #I get over there they’re out of parfaits they’re out of fruit cups they’re out of kale salads the front is coming in and having to take #stuff as I make it bc they keep getting orders and it’s all just a fucking mess #I have to make a custom wrap and what happens?? those morons didn’t pull the flatbreads out of the freezer like they’re supposed to every #night so now we have no flatbread and I had to run back there and put them in the warming drawer to defrost and we lost an order bc I had #nothing to make the wraps with <3 #I go back there to get more cold chicken SPOILER ALERT they didn’t have anyone make any this morning so now there’s no chicken for the wrap #and salad and it has to be grilled and then chilled for 2 FUCKING HOURS before it can be used #they’re a fucking disaster like 😭#was the store perfect before?? ofc not but it ran quickly and efficiently as it should and now it’s literally just a mess #this bitch hasn’t even owned it for a full week yet and has already fucked it all up #womp womp!!!!!!

#im going through my old art summaries as i'm prepping this year's #and... man. i've been hard on myself lately but god i do actually draw very well and i should be proud of that #it can be hard sometimes and it won't always come out perfect #but when i go hard. i Go HARD #i should be less afraid to make mistakes and be more adventurous when i draw stuff #looking back at all this stuff from the last decade... it's made me happy. which is sorta weird cuz up until now it made me feel kinda sad #like i thought the last few years especially had been kind of flops but tbh i've done a lot! and i think many of the things i did were cool #idk i'm feeling good and nostalgic now #hoping for a good art year in the coming year. i wanna challenge myself more and keep getting better

#uhhhh me #nimona #the only real issue i had with it was that i wish it ended with nim appearing in the bg unbeknownst to ballister #instead of on a joke #other than that: amazing showstopping #However comma. it was a mistake to watch it with my parents #it felt like running a very horrible marathon #allow me to vent for a bit: right at the beginning my dad was like 'why is the protagonist brown'#and 'is this movie about being gay 😑'#that was like a preliminary litmus test. like if they aren't alright with bal and ambrosius holding hands #then they're definitely not going to be okay with everything else #so the whole time i was like. holding my breath. prepping for the inevitable #luckily at the kiss they just gave unappreciative huffs instead of like. actually saying anything #they just said some off colour stuff that rly pissed me off and i Know it would be impossible to explain why they should be nicer than this #parents ily!! but pls get some better opinions #anyway. enough about all that. i think my parents are too used to normie disney movies

Hi everyone please be mildly disappointed in me for starting the fabric cutting on my quilted scarf gift project at 2:45 AM, but everyone be proud of me for realizing at 3:45 AM that it was an insane choice and that I should be satisfied with my progress and go the fuck to sleep instead of staying up til 6 am and making a fuckton of cutting mistakes.

#tag #quilting #I only made 1 mistake #and it’s easy cutting which is why it’s so tempting #I was like ‘surely I can knock out the cutting before bed’#‘then I can do the piecing this weekend and quilt it by next week!’#but my guy. (my guy is me here)#I did 1/3rd of the background cutting in about an hour #so the background alone would have taken me til almost 6 am #nd then the accent cutting would likely take the same amount just given the pieces involved #that said it’s nice to know a calculation for how long I’ll be putting into this #usually I enter ADHD mode for however long and have no fucking clue how long I’ve worked #now I know: cutting on this specific project is equivalent to about 5-6 hours of working undistracted but kinda slowly #I imagine piecing won’t take too long if I do my prep work right #the prep work itself will probably be an hour including toying around with the design #and the quilting will be verrrry quick but I SHOULD do a practice block bc I’m working with minky fabric for the first time
