I decided to make it something that the sun reader confesses (while also some headcanons with a sun reader)? I hope this is okay, dear anon, I didn't have many ideas for this. Here you go, thank you for requesting! <3

-Something about Astro being the moon while you were the sun was something you really liked and found cool. It was something others noticed too and even talked about it with you two, finding it a pretty cool thing. Astro would have this soft moonlight around him when it got dark and you would have this warm sunlight instead. Astro's aura was soft, a bit cold but it felt comforting and so did your own, as you provided warmth and a feeling of safety to others, you two really were like day and night. He thought it was pretty cool and you find it amazing. He was someone that really intrigued you, funnily enough.

-Compared to Astro, you were pretty cheerful and often seen smiling, radiating this soft warm feeling around you when someone interacted with you. Astro was more quiet, usually preferring to take naps or read a book or two in the book club, spending time doing something quietly and you? You just had fun talking to the others, checking up on them with a happy smile. It was interesting to witness, honestly. It was also funny as you were literally a morning person and Astro was a night person, matching with the fact you are a sun and he is a moon toon. It's like the actual sun and moon itself came as the form of toons.

-Your dynamic with Astro was also a nice sight to witness. You know that Listener X Yapper trend? That's what basically it was with you two. Astro is a fantastic listener that replies here and there, hearing your words carefully even if they are a lot while you rambled about everything random. If you talked a lot and it was day, Astro really does try to stay awake but sometimes his eye is fighting sleep. It's not that he finds your talks boring or anything, he finds it comforting enough to sleep to your voice, showing you he was comfortable. You didn't mind though! You knew he was saving energy and power to give everyone nice dreams, after all!

-His company was something you find yourself longing more and more and loved to hang out with him. Even if he wasn't talking as much as the others, you genuinely didn't mind. Something about Astro felt.. really nice to be around with. Astro even threw good dreams at you which you got super excited about. He would even have to use his powers on you to make you sleep JUST because you were super excited to see some awesome dreams and couldn't get sleepy at all! You giggled and moved your feet happily whenever Astro got his powers ready to make you extremely sleepy. He found himself having a small smile when you did that, it felt nice seeing you so excited.

-Since you like to spend so much time with him, Astro makes an effort during the day to not fall so much asleep but he finds it difficult when you have this warmth and it reminds him when he covers himself in his trusty big warm blanket. Instead, he likes to chill with you during your dreams or even stick close as you have fun around or even just observe you from afar. If you want to sit down and talk with him, he has more energy and can listen to you for way longer now. He still likes to check in with the other's dreams but he definitely spends the most time in yours, just relaxing with you.

-You and him definitely grow closer and closer and really do enjoy each other's company, even if you have different levels of energy. Your soft light comfort each other with Astro finding comfort in your warm sunlight and you find it calming when his moonlight hits your face. You two hang out almost every single day but you also do hang out with your other fellow friends! You are someone who is bright and likes seeing others smile, after all! A smile from Astro is something that automatically makes you happy as well, even if his own is small, it's always nice to see!

-Astro does feel something for you but doesn't know what exactly it is. You, on the other hand? You caught on much earlier compared to Astro. You didn't know if you should confess or not, especially when you see that he smiles a lot more with you and his cheeks look deeper in color a lot as well. One day you decided to do it and confess to him, he stayed quiet as he listened to you talk about how you were feeling about him. If he doesn't feel the same, you just said that it was alright but you felt like he should know. Astro stayed quiet as he felt his heart race and his cheeks grew more warmer.

-Astro thinks about it as he looks concerned. He simply tells you that he needs time, he doesn't know if he feels the same yet. He is not exactly rejecting you but not exactly accepting it? If that makes sense? He knows he feels something.. he just isn't sure if it's romantic. The answer gets you thinking but you definitely give him more time to think it over. He has a soft tone as he talks to you about it too, Astro is also surprised but he doesn't show any negative emotions to you feeling that way for him.

-It takes him a good while but when he comes back, he is blushing, saying that he thought about it and finally understood that he feels the same way as you. This gets you very happy and you try to contain your excitement and not overwhelm him with a huge hug. You two spend the day together, just slowing down and relaxing, taking the time to explore these new feelings together. Astro thanks you for waiting for him and he wants to see where it goes and how his life will look with you as his beloved partner. You both take your time, with slow stuff like holding hands and everything.

-Astro always sticks around you and loves to hold your hand or even give you his spare stuff (though you are already warm enough). He feels more nice after he finally understood what he was feeling for you all this time, he really likes listening to you and leaning against you. Your every day life with him is even better now that you two know how you feel for each other and he is very happy to have you by his side. The others find it adorable as you are the sun and he is the moon. Astro feels a lot for you and truly does deeply love you.

In all honesty, you didn't really think it was that serious.

Nutrition meetings at Barcelona were a lot more in depth than what you were used to at Arsenal. They took ages and were full of information that would probably be interesting if you actually cared but, alas, nutrition had never been as interesting to you as other subjects so you tended to just zone out.

You were handed a new smoothie with some kind of new protein powder in or something you would have known if you actually listened.

You drank it.

That's when things start to get weird.

The nutritionist continues to drone on and you frown, scratching at your neck.

You stare down at your bottle for a moment as your throat goes all scratchy and intense.

You force yourself to swallow before glancing around.

Your throat gets a bit tighter.

No one else seems to be having such a reaction so you unscrew the top of your bottle to peer inside. You sniff the mixture before standing up.

You can feel people watch as you make your way over to the first aid kit at the front of the room. Your throat has fully closed up now and you know that you're turning alarmingly red and probably breaking out in hives.

Honestly, you feel a little bit shocked how you're even conscious right now but you grab your epipen and stab it into your leg.

"Banana," You say plainly," I can't eat that."

Even with the adrenaline now pumping through your system, you slide your way down the wall to sit on the floor, breathing in deeply.

The room erupts into chaos the moment you sit down.

Talia's already gone out into the hall, phone pressed up against her ear.

As the medics fuss and the nutritionist yells, the team also gather around to check that you're alright but you just give them a gallant shrug.

You and Talia drive in together so only one car is used. If you go home in that car now then she'll have to get a taxi in the middle of rush hour.

You don't know how long you nap for but it must be a while because the sun is setting when you wake up and you can smell Talia cooking up your favourite pasta dish in the world.

"No, Momma," You mumble, accepting your food as Morsa takes a seat on the armchair and Momma to the left of you, leaving an empty space for Talia, who also brings out food for herself and Morsa before taking her own seat.

You nod. "I feel fine. My leg aches a little but that's expected."

"We'll put an icepack on it once we've finished eating. Prins was very worried about you."

-he likes making little wood carvings and insists on doing most of them with a sword instead of a knife or a dagger just to be extra (it backfires on his hands most of the time.) His favorite ones to make are models of ships

-generalist but hes the most skilled in woodwork and sea vessel maintnance

-has a beautiful singing voice but rarely uses it and instead opts to sing awfully on purpose.

-will not pass up an opportunity to literally "give you a hand" if you ask and he thinks its funny, but do not funking mess with his prosthetic unless allowed, you will go to sleep with less fingers than you woke up with

-knows how to juggle. No reason for this one I just think Sails knows a bunch of useless but cool party tricks (now there's ripe potential to make this angsty, but I shan't. Not yet.)

-ok so him and Mangey stumbled upon the third episode of Ninjago and rebuilt the Angel's Voyage and it flies now. Don't worry abt it

-insufferable when it comes to any sort of table or card games. He will crush you and play you for an idiot. Somehow, no one can ever prove hes cheating even when he absolutely is. The only one who has enough experience and same low blow tactics, and as such can stand up to him, is Tails

-speaking of which, being annoying is his biggest weapon and also favorite love language. Trust that you will know if the annoying is affectionate or meant to drive you insane (derogatory) though

-adrenaline seeker and worse one than Sonic honestly. Having multiple near death experiences in a single day awakened something in him and by god will he make it everyone else's problem

-his favorite to rile up are Nine and the various Knuckles for obvious reasons and usually clowns on them in the end

-hes also the one you go to if you need to properly get through to Nine and Sonic failed or is unavailable. No one really knows how he does that.

-also loves blowing shit up, explosives are his favorite thing ever

-naps whenever and where ever, most likely outside in the shade of a palm tree either under or in his hammock.

-NOT stinky or mangy alright, he takes grooming very seriously, he maintains a mohawk of all things like come on!!

-except during the whole friendship breakup exile and purposeful starvation thing between Prim and Thorn, he didn't have acces to water to clean properly and he does not like the feeling of being dirty (holy shit the scavengers were under constant sun with no food or water for God knows how long meanwhile Thorn was suffering from vitamin D deficiency they fucked up fr fr)

-autism be damned my boy figured out how to work the grill (I cannot explain this one beyond do NOT give him access to any sort of fire. And do not tell Sails. By god do not tell Sails.)

-loves those little "impossible to solve" puzzles and especially rubix cubes, he usually gets the hang of everything in under two minutes but it keeps him entertained endlessly

-also loves taking apart things and see how they work and often attempts to replicate the mechanism within in another form. Problem is, not every time he considers if the thing is important or dangerous before he guts it, resulting in... a few incidents, and a lot of calming breathing exercises for Tails

-not a big fan of flat digital interfaces, he needs buttons and levers and stuff

-he wears mismatched black and white gloves (to match Nine!!) and actually gets proper lime green shoes he sometimes wears but prefers not to. He likes the simple familiar leaf shoes he crafted himself

-you know those little simplistic wooden toy trains with train tracks? Sails carves them and Mangey assembles them into increasingly convoluted tracks all over the place. If they get really lucky they can also convince Nine to paint them (which he both hates and loves because by god can he not hold his hands steady but more on that later) There's a whole Rube Goldberg machine set in place involving the track. What it does and how it's triggered varies on a weekly basis.

-really strong sense of hearing and smell due to which he gets overstimulated easily and has headaches often, especially if hes in an area hes not used to.

-speaking of smell, he can not only tell where but How Much food there is, so lies of "sorry this was my last one" will never work, he knows

-he can pretty easily pick up on weather changes, sometimes with the same accuracy as Tails' forecast

-terrified shitless of thunder and lightning, and while it's fairly easy to calm him down, he's unfortunately even easier to startle and not so surprisingly agile

-doesn't have any particular strong feelings abt his tails since people were displeased with him as a Whole and he dissapeared into the jungle before any of that hatered could stick. He likes them because they're a good blanket :]

-hates conflict of any capacity because that just reminds him of Thorn and Prim and the fallout of their falling out, which is why it's for the best to NOt let him witness Shadow and Sonic in close proximity cuz boy Will be UPSET and no matter what you can't explain it to him that they're just gay like that

- he also naps wherever he wants whenever he wants, ussually in a warm and hidden place such as a pile of sun warmed blankets or moss under a tree. Please always dutifully check the dryer before starting it, double check if it was recently used.

Nine

-also cannon to me, he's declawed in his left hand and those metal tips serve as a prosthetic so he can actually grip things properly. The same goes for his right wrist that was shattered weirdly once and now needs to be reinforced

-the weird green glowing thing on his right hand he uses as a communicator later in the series is a fucked up looking watch (I was also thinking there's some connection between it and his metal tails since they have the same poison yellow glow but i don't know enough technical lingo to explain myself)

-prefers to stay indoors for all accounts, but loves to star gaze and chill outside at night. Mangey often silently joins him or is the one to drag him outside in the first place. Tell no one else abt this though

-cannot handle literally any spice in his food and he actually nearly died the first time Tails cooked for him since adding chili was just muscle memory and he didn't even think to ask

-but it urns out Nine likes food even more than Mangey which is, concerning, to some people. Always with a snack in hand and eating something, he especially loves fruit. Bro got an apple for the first time in his life and cried (canon I imagined it real hard)

-after the whole prism debacle he was left with some hefty nerve damage and now has fine motor issues, and regular. And has frequent migranes which pisses him off to no end

-actually gets some color into his wardrobe, since he no longer needs to camouflage all the time. His fashion sense is literally just a shirt and pants anyway

-On the off chance he goes into public and someone addresses him there is a tiny gender confusion. This will not have any internal ramifications for her whatsoever

-his nose is absolutely jacked, and so are his lungs. This will also not cause any further concerns either

-Do not fucking touch his tails ever. Mechanical or organic. He will kill you.

-if he let's you touch his tails, congratulations, he will kill and die for you.

-avoided Tails, Knuckles and Rouge like the plague for the first few months he moved in Into green hill for, obvious reasons.

-surprisingly close to Shadow actually??? When did that happen no one really knows

-graffiti!! He does graffiti and paints!!! Him and Sonic take random nights off and commit artistic vandalism on the most hard to reach surfaces for the avarge person. Nine also gloats over Tails and his lacking impressionist artistic skill

-but he's never drawn a blueprint physically and just used a digital program, so it evens out

-actually has a somewhat stable sleep schedule, unfortunately the time dilation between the Shaterspaces makes it seem like he doesn't

-in the event he falls unconscious/asleep his mechanical tails form a silly little cage around him and strike at anything that gets too close. He usually gets to bed before sleeps but in the event he chonks out on his table? Yea no one is getting him from there without having to wake him up first.

-Fairly quiet person. Minds his own business when it comes to most things. If something is happening, he wants nothing to do with it.

-Writes a lot, often he will observe an au he knows is going to die/disappear and record anything interesting about the au and its people, capturing it all in writing, including moments of humanity within the au. Things you wouldn’t expect a king of negativity to care writing about. 

-Collects a lot of items within aus, tends to collect items with negative feelings/emotions attached to them. He cares a lot for these items, including if he finds someone's item, if he knows who they are he may return it if he can sense it’s a precious item to someone. 

-Omen is rather relaxed in reference to his group. He does spend quite a bit of time on his own, but from time to time may spend a little bit of time with them. He doesn’t fully understand emotions, but through writing stories about what happened in the aus, learning about emotions and companionship through learning of the aus he is working to understanding others better, in his own weird way.

-Can feel short bursts of positive emotions if he has items around him that have positivity attached to them, it does hurt him slightly to get positive emotions from these items, but he will do this for the sake of his group. Even though he doesn’t fully understand what any of these positive emotions truly mean.

-He does try to be good for his group, since he knows they come from bad situations, so doesn’t want to be another bad situation since they came with him to escape that. Sure he’s not the best person in the multiverse but he at least wants to be a slightly better situation than what they were in.

-May spend time with one member of the group from time to time, either it be Soot (Dust) chilling alongside him in the library napping, or hanging out in the kitchen watching Cleaver (Horror) cook, maybe going through the archives talking about aus with Orca (Cross), or spending time with the cats with Alloy (Killer). He may try to keep an eye on their emotional state, to try to make sure they’re all okay. Through trial and error he’s sort of figured out ways to help them through things. 

-May bump into things due to only having one eye. Normally Orca (Cross) tends to hang around on Omen’s right side to prevent him from walking into things. But this means him and Orca tend to bump shoulders a lot due to this. Orca never complains to Omen though, and actively will keep Omen close. Also due to having one eye he’s sensitive to light, so often the base is relatively dull lighting, so he doesn’t get headaches, the others don’t complain about it either. 

-Even though Orca (Cross) is the newest in the group, Omen already spends a lot of time with him. Mainly because Orca bugs him into talking about the archive of all the aus. Orca doesn’t read through them himself always gets Omen to read it out loud for him. Omen was quick to realize it’s because Orca struggles to read. 

-Other than Orca (Cross) he will spend a lot of time with Soot (Dust) since Dust may come to hang out quietly in the same room. Or Soot (Dust) will nap in the same room as him, normally the library. 

-Wears a large coat/jacket. Isn’t seen much without it, on rare occasions his group will see him without it, but Omen doesn’t like people staring at him without it, so the first few times he quickly left and was later seen with it on again. But after a few times they left him alone about it, so they see him without it on a bit more.

-Half the time a mouth isn’t visible on him, but he will still be able to talk even if it’s not there. 

-Can shapeshift, may shapeshift into animals to spy on/look around aus to scout aus out and get information and such, uses this to get information he may write about. 

-Has more sympathy for kids than what he does for adults. He tends to have a lot more patience for kids as well. This comes from the fact he wishes he was offered patience as a child.  

-Loves the ocean, though he never really talks about this love to anyone. Gave Orca (Cross) that new name because he reminded him of orcas, both in colour scheme and somewhat in behavior. His love for the ocean is akin to how most Sanses love space. It mainly coming from a deep curiosity, and a sort of ‘call of the void’ situation for him.

-Half the time he doesn’t control his tentacles. So leaves them to do what they want, each of them seemingly having a mind of their own, and will act without Omen’s input on things. E.g. wrapping around someone's arm when standing next to them, or hitting someone he doesn’t like. -Omen struggles with his emotions and growth as a person. Due to being abused before corruption and then becoming a threat after corruption, he never wants to feel weak ever again, and will do anything in his power to be the strongest. If somehow he is made to feel weak it will mess with him and make him flip out. But after getting his group he’s realized that having power doesn’t equal growth, that power doesn’t equal personality. That you can’t just magic yourself into feeling good about yourself, that through working hard and caring for others to improve yourself in factors of your life that need work is how you can feel better about yourself, and feel worthy of things. Through his group he’s able to realize his own flaws, and try to work through them with their support. Sure sometimes he doesn’t want too, as it’s hard, but he knows they’ll help him when needed. He knows he’s not the best person, and he slips up a lot, but he is grateful for his group, even if he doesn’t express that fact to them.

TF 141: Owl Hybrid HCS

Hi! I'm alive, just working on several things at once so my writing output is slow. This may be too niche but I've been thinking about this too much and wanted to share. Yes, I will be coming out with a Price x reader hybrid fic and this kinda sets the tone for it. I hope you enjoy!

A group of owls is called a parliament.

No warnings. There are some 141 x reader bits as well

PRICE: Blakiston’s Fish Owl

Price is a big bird, and is the largest in terms of body weight and wingspan comparisons. His wings take up a majority of his space when on the ground and in his human form. His feathers are monochromatic with brown and tan, his broad and ragged ear tufts start on his temple and hang slightly to the side- still perfectly seen and sticking out when he wears his boonie hat.

The scars on his neck mark a historic battle between him and a foe. His damage? His vocal chords.

This man has a deep hoot that now sounds like a scratchy croak most nights. He feels self-conscious about it after the damage that occurred but will use it to startle or scare enemies mostly. 

If you ask to hear his hoot he gets flustered.

Being the alpha predator, he is very territorial. Not so much over his nest or room, but rather his parliament. Over the others, he tends to take care of them as a stand-in father figure that none of them have. With his big form and feathers, you can find either of the sergeants nestled into his chest like the pillow Price is.

Playing with his ear tufts is a dangerous game, as your hand will either be pecked at or he’ll give you nesting eyes depending on his mood.

Loves fish, and will even eat it raw if his owl sense is craving it.

His species spends an unusual amount of time on the ground and prefers to travel as humans do when applicable. 

When fishing, he prefers to do so as his breed does. Dive in and catch the fish himself.

Likes to nest in tight spaces (that mimic hollow trees). Will make a fort between a plethora of cushions and blankets to hide within.

GHOST: Great Gray Owl

While Ghost is the largest member of 141, in his owl form, he almost doubles in size due to his plumage. The Great Gray has fluffy feathers and the longest tail, making him all the more threatening

He is not the type to build nests, but will often steal nests of others. He’s been found in Price’s nests when the Captain leaves for office work or has been known to crash into Soap's nest with no care to the men squawking

He’s vain to a fault. Will always preen himself in private, and the one time you pulled a cracked feather he immediately blushed snatched it from your hand, and left in a hurry to make sure there were no others

Once you got to really get close to him, he would let you do it for him.

Absolutely loses it when you call him pretty bird.

You also got him to parrot it back to you once and he almost cried with embarrassment.

Also has a deep hoot, but his come in shorter and quicker successions. 

These owls, much like Ghost, are hard to find. They tend to keep to themselves and blend into their surroundings by remaining still. There is minimal aggression in terms of territory, but when the 141 parliament is threatened, his talons are ready to maul.

SOAP: Barn Owl

Have you heard a Barn Owls call? It can get really annoying or is beyond terrifying.

Soap’s subspecies is the T. a. Guttata; He is large for his species while having grey and orange upperparts with an orange buff. He has speckling to his underpart feathers, and his face is white.

Will sometimes take naps in a roost of his choosing (supply closet, rafters of the gym) but does tend to make his own nest when needing a deep and comfortable sleep after a good meal or long mission. 

Makes a fuss when Ghost crashes his nest. He hisses and snaps his beak at the large hybrid but shuts up when he gets to nestle under his wings.

Soap bonded with Ghost over his species being known as the “Ghost Owl” to some, but also that they have a similar lay of face feathers.

Soap is a curious hybrid in nature, and not always defensive when a different species (or human) is interacting with 141. The first time he met you, his wings splayed out while he looked you over - too closely.

While looking at your dog tags (or any other jewelry) he accidentally beat his wing feathers on your face.

You lost your balance and spooked him, causing him to hiss at you. And beat you over the head with his wing, again.

He is very cuddly when on base, likes to be by your side, and at least has his wing draped on you if it's movie night.

GAZ: Great Horned Owl 

One of Gaz’s strong suits is his ability to camouflage. His feathers comprise a darker brown and even darker, complex markings across. He does have a patch of white feathers on his throat when fully shifted, and people make jokes that it's as if he wears a button-up shirt.

He has the classic owl hoot, and will often use it as comedic relief if a joke doesn't land. It is the most calming and subtle of the group, so he will often use it to find the other members while on base.

His eyes are big. Can give you the sweetest looks without saying anything, and is an absolute heartmelter when his tired eyes show in the daytime.

Like Price, he has tufts on the side of his head but are much smaller in comparison. They do as well peak out from under his cap.

He can adapt to the heat of the desert easily, and if in the Sonoran Desert again, he likes to sit in the sun to warm up.

Gaz does nest, but his is a bit wild and messy in terms of blankets and pillows strewn about when doing so. He doesn't need much, but when in his nesting season he can become aggressive and grumpy.

Price jokes that he can be like a parrot. Somewhat playful but has a tolerance when being preened at by the Captain himself.

Has nipped Price before.

Gaz keeps his talons well-maintained. He lost one in a fight before, and now takes excellent care of them. 

When he becomes fond of you, he will snag you by the arms and fly you in the air with him. Very cautious to not hurt you!

He one time made a nest high up in the rafters in the base but fell out of it and onto the ground when Ghost caught him sleeping.

Will calmly pick feathers off his suit mid-conversation and hand them back to you saying, "You dropped this."

Adjust mission plans so rooftop and high ledges are accessible for you.

If you're roosting on a high bookshelf to nap during a meeting, he'd quietly say, "They're resting," and moves the team meeting elsewhere.

He'd also start scheduling "wing care" into your daily routine, whether you like it or not. He is does not want to argue about it with you. He's also worried about you molting feathers all over the hideout, which is why he established it.

"Ten minutes of grooming. No arguments."

You're valuable to the team, he'll accept you and soften up around you. He's never gonna leave you behind.

"You're part of the team. Harpy or not, you're still my responsibility."

Giorno Giovanna

He is also unshaken by your nature. It's just another part of who you are, no stranger than a Stand. He speaks to you like he'll speak to anyone, he'll see you as an equal.

He'll pluck your molted feathers off his suit without any complaint. Might even use them as quills.

When you fly, he's always watching the skies. If you're ever shot down or injured mid-air, Giorno is always the first underneath you as he cushions your falls with Golden Experience using vines.

If you sneak around him and sniff him quietly, he will notice and the minute you look up he's already looking down at you.

Won't say anything until one day he casually turns to you and says, "You like the scent of bergamont, don't you? I switched colognes."

He can be fairly intuitive. Notices how you flap your wings when you're anxious or tilt your head when you're confused. It's the little things that he can tell.

"I see you preen your wings most often in the evening. That's when I'll schedule our downtime."

Leone Abbacchio

Cold at first. Don't take it too seriously though, it's just how he is. Would probably say something along the lines like, "Are we collecting cryptids now?" with his arms crossed and his eyes staring hard at you and a mean scowl.

You two share quiet moments, he's somebody you can hang around with if you really don't wanna talk but still want the presence of someone being there. Could be at rooftops, ledges, or remote balconies. He'll have a wine glass and you'll be perched up right beside him.

He'd start calling you "Feathers" more than your actual name. He stopped doing it in front of the others though, he clicked his tongue when Mista pointed out that he does care about you more than he wanted to admit.

One day, someone would ask if the two of you are even friends and he'd look off to the side and say, "They're not an idiot.. so maybe."

If you're emotionally shaken and anxious about something, he won't do hugs nor would he sugarcoat any advice or comforting words. But he'll let you sit next to him and he'll leave a hand close enough to brush your feathers with ease.

"You've survived. That's all that matters."

Guido Mista

Oh he thinks you're so cool. He's also so corny and makes too many bird jokes. You hate to admit that it's funny but sometimes you tilt your head in confusion when you don't understand some.

"What's the word, bird?" , "Hey, don't get in a flap! I was just teasing!" , "Bet you'd kill it at karaoke. Hollow bones, hollow voice, right?"

He would 100% wants you to give him a ride on your back at some point. It probably ends with both of you crashing into a tree. You're both covered in bruises but you're still sharing a laugh.

You and Sex Pistols get along great. They perch up in your feathers or try to mimic your chirps sometimes. It drives Mista crazy when they beg you for snacks instead of him.

He's your best match in terms of coordinated attacks. During battle, he'll fire some bullets, and you'll dive and smack it mid-air with your talon as it redirects back to the enemy. He'll laugh and say, "We make a good team, birdbrain!"

Narancia Ghirga

He also thinks you're the coolest ever. Would definitely ask you to give him a ride, but unlike Mista, the two of you fly around in one peace and land perfectly and safely back down.

Would ask a lot of questions, like way too much actually and sometimes they can get a bit personal. Though you don't mind it since it's just a way for him to show his own curiosity he has towards you.

You protect him a lot during battles instead of the other way around. Instinctively wrapping your wings around him if he becomes targeted. Get's a little cocky about it too ("See? I'm important!) but deep down, he's touched and feels secure around you, feels like your little brother.

You would stare at him and watch as he glues your fallen feathers onto his arms and starts waving them a bit with a big smile. He told you he wants to become a harpy too but he ends up falling face first in an attempt to fly. But he swore that he felt.. "10% lighter!"

Despite you protecting him half the time, he'll be down to return the favor and protect you instead. Would square up to any creep that tried to mock you, spitting at them and kicking them down.

Panacotta Fugo

He freezes upon your first encounter. Not neccessarily from fear but because he is purely fascinated by you. Unlike Narancia, he tries not to bombard you with questions, but his brain is spinning with biology and evolutionary possibilities.

Fugo's explosive anger can get intense at times but you managed to calm him when he feels like he's about to burst. One word from you, or a soft wing flick to his shoulder, can snap him out of a spiral. He never admits it, but it grounds him and he's grateful.

He’s kinda obsessed with making sure you don’t get infections from injuries, especially since you might land in odd places. He carries antiseptic specifically for you. He doesn't even let Giorno tend the wounds considering he could just use Golden Experience. Instead, he'd treat you himself and scold you for it.

If you’re ever curious, Fugo would enjoy study sessions, even if you perch on a bookshelf while reading. He may tease your bird-brain literally or jokingly ask you not to shed feathers on his notes.

"If you ever so much think about preening near my marginalia, I'll shave you bald."

Trish Una

She thinks you're beautiful and would like to accessorize your feathers, maybe even keep some for herself. She'd want you to take good care of yourself, just like how she does it.

Would schedule 'Self-care Sundays' with face mask, mani-padis (even for your talons), and lots of stretching. It's a whole day where you spend time with her without the others being around. In her words, it's a break from them.

"Y/n, no beak touching! We're not in the wild. Sit down and let me fix you up, you're in no condition to leave looking like... that."

One thing she would struggle with getting behind is the nests you build sometimes. You'd invite her to stay but she'd hesitate for a moment, feeling around. "It's disgusting, it's tangled, it's unwashed... but as long as you're comfortable then it should be fine."

Would flinch and cover her eyes if you try and show her some tricks. She'd muster up the courage to smile and clap but she'd still be scared for you.

She'll forever be grateful to have you as part of the team. You saved her once from having a panic attack, you wrapped a wing around her and pulled her in close like a cocoon. She cried and never talked about it again, even when you bring it up she tells you she doesn't recall, but she finds herself sitting closer to you.

"...Thanks for being here. And for not making it weird. Even if you shed all over my outfits."

Astro With A Reader Who Matches His Energy!

While I don't have the energy he has, I love the idea of falling asleep randomly sksksks I have stuff to do though still, haha! Here you go, dear anon! Thank you for requesting! <3

-Anna

-Oh my, it's like there is almost two of you now! The rest of the cast just watches as you two try your best not to fall asleep standing up. Astro is still the clear winner in this, he has record times of falling asleep!! You really relate to wanting to take naps like him a lot. Astro does it to save power to give everyone nice dreams so when you fall asleep during the day and stay up at night like him, you can keep him company if you want! He always saves power during the night to use for you to have a nice dream.

-Like him, you also want this nice peace and silence and you like to chat softly with him. No one is making loud noises, you can see the way his eye is fighting sleep because he has a very nice time with you and everything just feels lovely. You have a beautiful voice and he really thinks so, he likes that it matches with his soft one as you both relax somewhere together, especially away from everyone. While he can sleep in record time, your voice doubles that time, insane!!

-Astro always saves enough power to send you nice dreams when you are sleeping through the day rather at night. He wants to convince you to sleep at night like everyone else but you really want to spend time with him! He was about to say anything but yeah, he would take a good while sleeping during the mornings to save as much as he could, not to mention the naps and everything! He can try to stay awake though, no worries!

-He gives you one of his spare blankets and it's SOOOO soft and nice to feel! No wonder he falls asleep faster than you with this amazing blanket! Have I mentioned that he has the best quality pillows too? Use those and holy, it's so easy to relax in them or literally sink in those. Sometimes, he likes to give you them only with the promise that you will sleep well at night or it's those rare days where you actually just can't find it in you to fall asleep. A little use of power with the combination of that soft material? You're out in seconds and you're seeing the best dreams.

-Cuddles while sharing his blanket usually ends with you two taking a good nap as you lean against each other or even one of you is laying on top of the other, cuddling closely with a smile. Whether it's you or Astro who is holding the other, you both fall asleep and stay like that for a very good while. You don't know how he does it every time, but you see nice dreams and even get to hang out with him inside them as an apology from him since he falls asleep in the day so much.

-If you want, why not read books together, watch an episode of something or even something else with him? He can bring you both snacks with his powers too! It's a nice bonding experience with soft talking, just quietly enjoying each other's company. He likes sweets and something that makes him feel soft if when you two are eating from the same snack, he has this soft smile on his face as he looks you chewing happily on it. Have I mentioned how softly you two give each other affection???

-You both listen to each other so well if you talk, if you want to do a thing but don't really have the energy, Astro hopes that the dream he will give you will help motivate you! Especially since during it, you have the energy and feel so nice! If he can, he can also join you with the activity as well, getting closer to you without any of the sleepiness catching up to him! If you want something, say the word, he just wants to see you happy and smiling, you're his beloved, after all!

-The other toons like to call you "Astro 2" or even just comment on how similar you two are. You have a soft voice like Astro, you prefer the peace, you can fall asleep, take naps even or more! It's something that just makes you chuckle. You actually find it pretty nice that you and Astro share the same energy. You just don't have powers or that like him. You really like to admire his power, especially when he uses it to help others this much and ensure they have a good sleep.

-One thing they find funny is how they always find you and Astro on random spots, fast asleep without a care in the world. Many of them think it's adorable! Some think that you two must be uncomfortable in the place you just decided to take a nap in and some just blink twice. Either they leave you alone to rest well together, accidentally giggle a bit too much and wake you two or they try waking you both up if they feel uncomfortable with the place you two picked, come on! The floor can't feel that comfortable to sleep in! Your poor backs!!

-Overall, Astro is happy that you share his energy as well, he always finds himself smiling in your presence and he definitely feels quite comfortable with you around! Whether it's doing something together without much talking, taking a nap, playing in your dreams or anything else, Astro can't help but smile warmly towards you as he feels himself blushing. It's during those moments where he feels his heart race faster as he thinks about how he loves you and that he can't wait to spend more time with you just doing anything!

Lockdown Episode Write Up P2 – dialogue

Introduction

I don’t think there’s much linking the dialogue with the images (apart from the cake sequence), so I’ve broken this write-up down into tableaus and dialogue, because there are just as many Easter eggs (maybe more) to be had from the tableaus as there are from the script. This part of the write-up will address just the dialogue, with the tableaus addressed in a separate write-up. Right, housekeeping done, let’s get stuck in shall we?

Dialogue

So Crowley picks up on the second ring, sounding very irritated. Considering he’s about to tell Aziraphale how bored he is, you’d think he might actually be relieved about the prospect of somebody calling him. And poor Aziraphale; the brusque greeting clearly puts him off, presumably because he was hoping for a more enthusiastic response, particularly given that Crowley openly tells the angel he knows that it was him calling in the first place.

AZIRAPHALE: Uh… Hello. It’s me! CROWLEY: I know it’s you, Aziraphale.

My thoughts about this exchange? I strongly suspect Aziraphale is the only one that ever calls Crowley. Not only that, I think he’s probably calling the demon multiple times a day at this point. I mean, think about it – neither of them work for their respective agencies anymore. For the first time in 6000 years they can be open about their friendship, no more hiding. And for the first time in those 6000 years something other than Heaven or Hell is making it impossible for them to see each other. I know, they really could have formed a “bubble”, or just ignored the rules completely, given their otherworldly status, but they didn’t because don’t forget – this is a PSA film at heart. Everybody had to STAY AT HOME. Besides, it makes it so much more angsty if they can’t be within physical proximity to one another during this time.

AZIRAPHALE: Just calling to see how you were doing in Lockdown.

Aziraphale actually says makes it sound like this is either the first time the angel has spoken to Crowley during Lockdown (which had been going on for almost two months by the time this minisode was released), or that they don’t speak very often. Personally, I don’t buy this, not least because the demon openly says he’s incredibly bored. And what does Crowley like to do best when he’s bored? Hang out with Aziraphale. Be his personal nuisance.

CROWLEY: I’ve decided that if I can’t think of anything to do within the next two days, I’m going to have a nap and I’ll set the alarm clock for June.

I *think* this is the first time we have confirmation that he does sleep, at least as far as the show is concerned (I’m not counting cut/missing bits from the Script Book, or from the original book). There’s also proof here that he’s actually an optimist, despite his efforts to convince the world at large otherwise – he’s convinced that everything will be back to normal by June. Interestingly, the UK’s really strict national regulations had actually been eased by the time the minisode was released, allowing those who could not work from home to return to work (yeah, we didn’t really know what that meant either, considering those of us who were classed as key workers never stopped going to the workplace), but June was still a very optimistic estimate – whilst restrictions were eased as we went into July, local governments were given the authority to impose local lockdowns where necessary. And boy, did they.

AZIRAPHALE: Oughtn’t you to be out and about doing things?

It's interesting to hear Aziraphale actually encouraging Crowley to be more demon-like. And he doesn’t just encourage, he gives him very appropriate suggestions for things he could be doing to fulfil his demonly duties. To my mind, it suggests his preference for Crowley in a demonic state. Or it could be an opportunity to emphasise the STAY AT HOME message, seeing as (for once) Crowley seems keen to stick to the rules. Take your pick. I know which one I prefer. Either way, there are two pieces of information here that I find noteworthy – firstly, confirmation that Crowley can’t get sick because he’s a demon. I think it’s interesting what human weaknesses the angel and demon are susceptible to, and which not. Alcohol, for instance, albeit in larger quantities than a human could imbibe, has the same effect on their human bodies as it does to humans. Illness and disease on the other hand, it would seem not. Laudanum, as we see in series 2, has an entirely different effect on Crowley than it would do to an ordinary human, but Hastur informs us that ordinary fire would easily discorporate a demon. Makes me wonder if the effect that a Heavenly or Hellish being has on its hosting body is one to do with constitution – where the body has an increased resistance to toxic substances but is unaffected in its ability to deal with trauma.

The second piece of information in this little plea from Aziraphale is that he says Crowley still has a job to do. Which, given the outcome of season 1, he doesn’t. I don’t think it was made blatantly obvious that neither of them report to their respective agencies anymore, so perhaps this is just a slip of the pen, so to speak. It might have been a bit more difficult to slip in this blatant reminder to people that leaving home was a BAD thing to do and that staying at home was the GOOD thing to do otherwise, and this little speech is very clear about listing certain things that were being actively discouraged at the time.

CROWLEY: I could do that. I mean I could… but if I did then… well…people might follow my bad example and get ill. Or even die.

Crowley’s response is… less than enthusiastic. It’s funny to hear him say that people might follow his bad example – surely that’s exactly what he’s been contracted to do for thousands of years? But again, I am forgetting – the whole point of this piece of media is to remind them why we should all just STAY AT HOME. So, with that reminder, let’s look a little more about Crowley’s actual feelings on the subject, shall we?

CROWLEY: I know I ought to be making people’s lives even worse but everyone’s so miserable cooped up right now anyway I just… don’t have the heart for it.

And therein lies the problem for Crowley and his existence as a demon – he actually doesn’t like to make people miserable. He loves to cause mischief and make trouble, but not with the sole intention to bring misery into people’s lives. Ultimately, he’s just too soft at heart to be a very good demon, which David himself has described beautifully.

AZIRAPHALE: I’m not miserable. CROWLEY: Really?

I really love this little exchange. Crowley sounds genuinely shocked that Aziraphale is so certain in his proclamation that he’s not miserable. And it’s hardly surprising really – I strongly suspect the reason that Crowley is feeling so down in the dumps is because he’s not getting a regular fix of his angel, so it stands to reason that he would expect Aziraphale to feel the same way. He’s probably had a little bit of his heart broken to hear that his angel is seemingly coping without him so well. It’s a good thing we go on to hear that basically the reason why Aziraphale is so happy at this time is because he’s not getting any customers in with the threat of trying to buy one of his books, although the angel’s speech does present the writer with another opportunity to remind us of our obligations at the time – social distancing and STAYING AT HOME.

You have to be paying attention, but Crowley doesn’t seem too pleased with the idea that Aziraphale might have needed rescuing from some errant youths that he wasn’t able to help with; there’s a quiet groan from him when he hears the retelling of the story. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t think there was some sort of double entendre going on here with Aziraphale’s tease of there being “a few young lads” who “broke in through the back”, so that groan could actually be one of relief rather than frustration. What is interesting is that Crowley openly mocks the only potential rescue scenarios that Aziraphale would have had available to him – he’s obviously smarting that he didn’t get to be the white knight for once.

CROWLEY: Did you smite them with your wrath?

I’d be very interested to know if the script had been finished and handed to David and Michael at this time, because that particular line feels like a very obvious reference to the smited/smote/smitten exchange. And if the reference is a genuine one, my double entendre idea doesn’t seem so outrageous, given Crowley’s tone – could he be a little bit jealous?

What now follows is the only time that the images in the minisode link directly with the dialogue going on at the time, and they’re all to do with cake. Trigger warning, what follows is a lot of pictures of cake. If, like me, you are inclined to go out and buy cake as soon as you see a picture of one, I would suggest you look away now.

What I love about Crowley’s reception of the knowledge that Aziraphale sent the little vandals away with cake is that he uses the same expression that Anathema uses when she asks about the name of Newt’s car.

CROWLEY: I’m going to regret asking…

His tone shows just what he thinks of the angel’s method for rescuing himself. And if you consider Aziraphale’s tale to be a truthful account of what took place, it does seem odd - that somebody could just have a little chat with some wannabe robbers to change their minds, and then send them away with some excess cake. There is however a missing scene in the Script Book where several thugs enter the bookshop and start to make a mess in an attempt to get Aziraphale to sell the land the shop sits on. In a somewhat “miraculous” turn of events (see what I did there?), they change their mind, clear up the mess they made, and leave without a fuss. I suspect the same sort of turn of events occurred to the lads that turned up to steal the cash box.

AZIRAPHALE: It turns out I have a whole cookbook section here in the bookshop.

I love this idea, that the bookshop is so sprawling and diverse that even Aziraphale doesn’t know what it contains, despite the fact that he must have stocked it in the first place. And I love it because that’s the how every second-hand bookshop feels to me. I’ve spent my fair share of time in Hay-on-Wye and its multitude of bookshops, and I genuinely feel like I could get lost in some of them. There are another couple of lines from Aziraphale that suggests that he does not think it possible to eat anything unless it comes from an eatery.

AZIRAPHALE: Well all the restaurants and cafes are closed […] and I got peckish.

Because he couldn’t just go to the supermarket and buy some cake, could he? Like the rest of us were doing (and were allowed to do). He even goes on to say that he had to miracle the cherries in for one of his creations – quite why it was only the cherries he miracled in I don’t know, I mean he must have gotten the rest of the ingredients from somewhere. Which leads me on to another question – where is the kitchen in the bookshop? There must be some facilities somewhere, otherwise he couldn’t make all of those delightful looking goodies. He’s got to have a kettle or a stove for boiling water/milk at the very least for making his cocoa, so where is all that stuff?

Aziraphale then goes on to reel off a list of cakes that he’s made (another nod to the domestic activities that were going on up and down the country – for those not based in the UK, you might not know that during Lockdown it was virtually impossible to get hold of flour or eggs, largely owing to the huge increase in home baking people did), which includes angel’s food cake (you could argue that all of the cakes he makes is angel’s food cake, hahah. Hah. I’ll get my coat). I don’t know whether it’s interesting, whether it’s an oversight, or whether it’s deliberate, but there’s no devil’s food cake on the list that he gives. I’ve made and eaten devil’s food cake before. It’s awesome. I don’t think that he wouldn’t have made this particular recipe because of its lack of deliciousness. I actually wonder whether its absence is an indicator of Crowley’s eating preferences (and as a reminder, I’m someone who is of the mind that he doesn’t enjoy eating – more on this shortly).

 AZIRAPHALE: And then, once I’ve baked them, I have to eat them all myself.

This line makes me properly snort with laughter, because he simultaneously manages to make it sounds like eating all the cake is something he definitely doesn’t want to do whilst also expressing sorrow that he has no-one around to eat them in front of with. The idea that this angel would ever not want to eat food is laughable. Crowley takes the bait on the sub-text though, employing some his tried and tested temptation techniques to try to get what he wants.

CROWLEY: I could hunker down at your place. Slither over and watch you eat cake. I could bring a bottle of- a case of something… drinkable?

This is my favourite line of the whole thing. The throwaway reference to his serpent form is delightful, and who’s to say he wouldn’t transform for his trip over to Soho to avoid being stopped by humans? There’s  the idea that he would very much like to get drunk with Aziraphale again, and this time without an impending Armageddon to spoil the mood, and with the knowledge that he wouldn’t be going home at the end of their binge. But most of all there’s that line about the cake. He doesn’t say he can help Aziraphale eat the cake – he says he can come and watch the angel eat it. Which would not only go some way to confirming my suspicions that he doesn’t like to eat but would also help to cement the popular theory that watching Aziraphale eat is a pleasurable experience for him. The whole line is said with such longing too, it’s impossible not to hear it.

AZIRAPHALE: I’m afraid that would be breaking all the rules.

If you listen carefully to Aziraphale’s rejection of Crowley’s (quite frankly, adorable) suggestion, you can hear another little bit of the demon’s heart breaking with disappointment. I suppose he probably shouldn’t be surprised that his request of Aziraphale to go against protocol wouldn’t have gone down well and besides we were all supposed to STAY AT HOME, remember? What sort of a PSA film would this be if people just went around to other people’s houses for some flirting nookie company when there was a Lockdown in place?

AZIRAPHALE: I’ll see you when this is over.

So of course, Aziraphale says no thank you very much (quite a lot of Tory party members could have learned a lot from the angel’s morals, and none of them are half as likeable as he is), but how incredibly sad does he sound at the prospect of not knowing when he and Crowley will see each other again? Crowley might have quietly voiced his disappointment multiple times during the conversation, but Aziraphale’s own disappointment here is stated loud and clear.

Crowley’s upset can be heard again after this very final sounding line from his angel (and this time it breaks my own heart a little bit) but he rallies well, changing his planned nap end time to July, rather than June as declared earlier. It’s a pretty perfect way to get out of missing someone, isn’t it? Just go to sleep until you can see them again; I’m sure there are a lot of people that would definitely be on board with that approach. He doesn’t leave any further room for discussion either:

CROWLEY: Good night, angel.

It’s very definite – conversation over, nothing more to say. My thoughts are that he’s just too depressed to carry on talking on the phone to the one person he would much rather be spending time with in person, and now that he’s found a quick and painless solution to the problem (a nap), he just wants to get on with it. Charmingly though, this parting line sounds nothing like the dismissal it seems like it is when you see it written down. The delivery of this line conveys the familiarity and comfort that exists between the two of them, and actually makes it sound like this is a regular conversation that they have, despite the dialogue suggesting otherwise. As it turned out, July wasn’t really long enough to get completely clear of the restrictions that would see our heroes united freely, but who can blame him for being optimistic? And at least if he’s asleep, he’s definitely STAYING AT HOME.

Well I think that’s the lot for this write up. So much for this being such a short episode that it wouldn’t need a lot of time devoted to it. It was a fun little thing; in truth I think it serves more as a PSA that as an additional source of storyline/character development but that hasn’t dampened my enjoyment of it. Time to move on to season 2 now (which I am both excited and a little bit nervous about – there is so much to say!), so for the meantime, questions, comments, discussion: always welcome 😊

 ACE TRAPPOLA

• Always at your feet trying to TRIP YOU. Literally can't walk without him running in front of you trying to introduce you to the floor.

• Expects you to spoil him when he wants to be spoiled, especially if your busy, otherwise he refuses all your affection??

• Very easy to distract, its quite funny. Just hang string and move it around a bit, and suddenly its just, "mind blank; only string!" So yeah, this method is especially effective with cat toys.

• Always on the counters for some reason. Even if you move him down from there 100 times he won't take the hint he can't be on there. Maybe he just likes high places? Makes him feel superior, maybe?

• Absolutely despises getting his claws trimmed. he likes them sharp so, don't cut them. Even though he most definitely isn't an outdoor cat, he likes having them sharp. Even though he cries and screams when he gets stuck in the couch and you have to get him out.

• YOU CAN'T LEAVE HIM ALONE FOR MORE THEN 2 DAYS WITHOUT HIM BECOMING VERY CLINGY. He's not one of those cats you can leave for days at a time unfortunately.

LEONA KINGSCHOLAR

• Leona's literally a cat in human form so he's not much different as a house-pet. He sleeps a lot. Definitely a napping cat.

• Literally will meow at you for hours until he gets pampered. He also likes to lay on the scratching posts, beds, couches and such. Comfy places.

• Very picky about his cat food. He specifically wants you to make him the wet food he likes even if you don't feel like making it for him.

• He doesn't go outside a lot. For the most part he'd lounge in the garden (if you have one) on the deck/patio in the sun, or on the lawn. Though for the most part he doesn't leave your property. He finds exploring and all that stuff a drag. He much prefer to stay where his treatment is good.

• He thinks your his slave. So yeah, one of those annoying cats who always expect something from you.

• Will knock shit off your counters, shelves, etc) just for your attention. Then he'd prance away like he didn't just break your thousand dollar vase.

JAMIL VIPER

• A very orderly cat. Rarely sheds, doesn't run around and minds his own. Jamil doesn't even really go on the couches or beds. He just minds his own on the.. floor.

• Hates cuddle time or being held, he prefers being on the ground, thank you! So good luck holding him and cuddling without a claw to the face. If your really eager to cuddle, I'd suggest always having his claws clipped.

• He doesn't like other animals, (especially cats). Whenever your not looking or not home, he gets into cat fights. Otherwise he's prefect and pretty

• At first glance you'd think he's an indoor cat, but he actually prefers it outside! He likes exploring and seeing what the outside has to offer! (he also really likes the sun.)

• For some reason??? he drinks water??? with his paw?? He eats like any other cat but for some reason Jamil just drinks with his paw.

• despises bugs with every part of his being. If he sees one he screams and cries for you, will not stop meowing until he knows its dead.

IDIA SHROUD

• DESPISES WATER, see's it, he screams and cries and will literally pass away. Y'know those cat videos of putting a cat in water and they fly and bounce off walls? Literally Idia.

• Runs around the house at top speed. Jumps on the scratching post, 'destroys' it, bounces off a wall, runs down the hall. Then crawls under the bed.

• Sleeps and hides under beds, behinds couches, etc). Enjoys darker places where he can wallow in despair/hj. He also uses these to hide if you have people he's not used to seeing over. Rarely comes out if you have guests over.

• Definitely an indoor cat, put him outside and he'll try to find a way back inside. Like through the window or something.

• He sheds a lot unfortunately. Probably a very fluffy cat that gets his fur all over your clothing and beds if you cuddle with him. Well, if he lets you cuddle with him!

• He actually doesn't mind other cats that much. He doesn't like playing with them or being around them though, he prefers to keep to his own. Especially if the cat is a jumpy one.

LILIA VANROUGE

• Will eat whatever insect or dead reptilian he can find. Taste buds are dead, you once caught Lilia eating a moth. It was gross.

• Super annoying when he wants to be. One of those cats who will knock at your door, scratching at it, and then once you open it he just stares up at you then walks away :')

• Will jump scare you. He likes hiding under your sheets, jumping out from random places, and running beneath your feet. Scares the soul out of you when he does this.

• An outdoor cat! He will leave for days then return home randomly. He normally doesn't go far, but he still enjoys being out of the house and exploring outside! Except during winter, then Lilia becomes an indoor cat.

• Enjoys sleeping and finding high places. he hangs out on shelves and such.

• Lilia is a cat that actually likes water. Spraying him to get off of counters no longer works since he just doesn't mind it.

I HAVE THOUGHTS !!!!!

imagine being paul's girlfriend and since it's winter break you two get to spend more time together. Snuggling with each other, lazy mornings together, no rush, no chaos, just enjoying the little things.

And one day you see Paul playing some video games and you're just looking at the screen, curious about how the game works so you walk towards him and ask him if you could play with him, something Paul is very enthusiastic about and quickly grabs your waist so you could sit on his lap, your hands on the controller and his right on top of yours so he can help you a little ((((imagine the size difference, omg)))), everything is giggles and fun, you can't help but smile when sometimes he slips out a few words in estonian and even if you don't quite understand it yet, you love hearing him so happy.

spending some good quality time together as the season has been so busy… lazy mornings spent in bed just chatting, twirling his curls between your fingers as he laughs about a story you told, his big warm hands pulling you closer… cozy afternoons spent walking around the city in the snow, or sitting in cute little cafés, fingers intertwined and kisses being pressed to rosy, frozen cheeks… and long nights filled with cuddles, movie-watching, and hushed whispers about the future…

but of course, he also likes to spend some time playing games now that he's finally off. usually, you take the time to do something for yourself when he's playing, but sometimes you get curious and want to watch him play. he's got this new game that you've never seen before, and it looks very complex but also very intriguing, so you walk up to him.

when you ask him all these questions about how to play, what the goal is, what that character does and how to use that special command, he secretly finds it so cute. he's basically melting on the inside. he's just about to ask if you want to try it out, when you shyly ask him "can i play?", and he melts some more. he's so enthusiastic about it, head nodding quickly and hands find your waist instantly. he guides you onto his lap, placing the controller in your hands before letting his hands land on your thighs, his chin resting on your shoulder as he watches the screen.

then, when he sees you struggling, he chuckles and places his huge hands on top of yours. he moves your fingers to help you out, guiding you and letting you know what to do, and sharing giggles with you when everything still goes wrong. eventually, you start to get the hang of – but you pretend that you don't, because you want him to keep his hands on yours…

and then, after that day, gaming together becomes a common occurrence. you sit down together, preferably (for you both) in his laps, trying out new games and playing his old favorites. fighting games, teamwork games, farming simulators – anything just to spend time together and stay close. it's also an easy way for you to learn certain estonian terms, especially funny little swearwords that slip out in the middle of his laughter when you both fail a level of a game.

and he notices quite easily when you start getting tired. he placed sweet kisses to the back of your neck, whispering something about how you can go take a nap together, but you shake your head at him. then you hand him the controller, turning around in his lap and telling him to keep playing – before leaning forward, nuzzling your face into his neck and slowly dozing off.

and he has such a hard time focusing on the game when your chest is pressed up against his, with your sweet scent filling his senses and your touch clouding his thoughts. but he loves it, and wishes time could stop and he could just have you in his lap forever. the game isn't as important.

Speaking of living with Vincent, do you have any headcanons about it? Are there any quirks he’d have that you wouldn’t notice or know about until you’re living with him?

This man lurks lmao. Somehow he’s always hiding right behind the door you’ve just opened, or you’ll walk into the kitchen and he’ll just be standing there. For someone so damn tall and unusual looking, he somehow easily blends into his surroundings. You’ll bump into him all the time, but you think he might do it deliberately cause then it’s an excuse to pull you into a hug. 

He goes through periods of eating regularly and then not at all. If he’s eating then he’ll try his best to eat meals with you, but he gets hungry at weird times and tends to only have child sized portions. He can cook, but it’s been 30+ years, so he’s out of practice. His sense of taste is also a bit strange, so if he’s not following a detailed recipeh, then the food might end up a bit weird. He does need nutrition or whatever in different amounts to a regular person, so sometimes you’ll walk into the kitchen and find him half climbed into the fridge, gnawing directly on raw chicken in a kind of manic state…. Just make sure he brushes his teeth before he kisses you. 

He wants to share a bed with you, cause you’re warm and it helps with his nightmares but he sleeps at weird times. He’ll go through periods of sleeping for a huge chunk of the day, and then staying up all night, and vice versa. He needs his own bed, but he won’t use it, preferring to nap on the couch, or the floor, or on you, like a cat when you’ve got important stuff to do that day lol. But he’s so cute all curled up with his head on your lap <3.

He wants to not be a burden, so if he’s the only person using a room, he’ll often just leave the lights or heating/cooling off. You’ll walk into a room thinking it’s empty, just to be met with his somewhat unblinking glowing stare while he’s just chilling on the couch reading a book or something. It’s still startling even when it’s been years and you think you should be used to him by now. 

…And now for the angst.

He puts towels over all the mirrors and reflective surfaces in the bathroom when he’s using it. He usually remembers to remove them when he’s done but once he gets comfortable with you, he starts to forget. He won’t get undressed anywhere he might risk seeing himself, so if there’s a mirror at the foot of the bed, then his clothes are staying on. He won’t tell you what the problem is though, because he’s embarrassed about it. You end up hanging all of the mirrors inside the wardrobe and cupboard drawers so they can easily be hidden away.

It takes forever and incessant badgering to get him to dress comfortably at home. He wants to stay fully covered, which is fine but god, the effort it takes to get this man into sweatpants. His difficult to remove clothes are armour that he cloaks himself in, and it takes so many spur of the moment blowjobs where he can see how much easier it is to do when he’s wearing comfy clothes to get him to eventually give in. 

He will have flashbacks and randomly be triggered by things that were previously fine. You’ll find items on the shelves rearranged, removed and changed. He doesn’t tend to destroy things or act out with rage, but he will often need to immediately leave a relaxed, normal sort of moment in order to clear his head.

SAMS/EAPS/LAES Music taste headcannons

hyper specific because with head cannons its go big or GO HOME! (if you see me namedrop a song/musician its a recommendation/hj)

Sun- pop songs n' jazz, primarily romance, plays them in the daycare with a small bluetooth speaker and on request lets kids suggest songs to play to. (its not a loud speaker, if the kids don't like it they can just step ten feet away and its basically static)

does listen to some spicy songs but has multiple safe guards that a playlist with them in it never gets played in the daycare. (one time Moon was told to play some taylor swift or something and it started blasting Unholy)

memorizes every single song he listens to. listens to 20 songs on repeat every single day and never gets bored of them.

has dozens of playlists, 4 songs in each one. (except for the one for the daycare with like at least 40) and that playlist is constantly being reworked because it's not organized enough

specific bands he listens to; um.. like top ten spotify list idk I don't listen to pop music much, only time I do is when my dad forces the radio in the car instead of me choosing me silly music

Moon- Indie rock and glam rock are his top hits but he likes other rock genres, blasts the volume real high (plays it in his head) to the point if your like a regular human walking past him you can make out the lyrics just with a tad bit of distortion

literally cannot work without music

Earth-k-pop/pop girly, listens to sillyies music at home n trying to sleep but cannot at the daycare because she wants to make sure she can hear when children need her and since a lot of her songs are energetic she feels it will distract her.

has a lot of favorite musicians, cannot pick one, either listens to every single song in every one of their albums (regardless if they like all the songs or if its a minority/ one album they like, they are loyal!) or listens to one song and loves the vibe but PHYSICALLY CANNOT listen to another.

prefers to listen to music with a headset (the pastel ones with cat ears) instead of playing it in her head because it makes the music feel like its around her than inside playing in her mind

Lunar-k pop, literally the same thing as earth since the only / first time he encountered a music genre he liked (HATED the loud headbang of Moon's songs) was when he was at Earths house.

maybe did use to like Moons music but listening to it when trying to sleep gave him the most eldritch nightmares known to man

listens to music to sleep, that's the only time he listens to songs..

during nap time in the daycare he dozes off with the children, he has to physically restrain himself from playing black pink while the other children are sleeping. (insert the making deal with rez thumbnail but Rez is his Spotify app)

started listening to other types of songs since the playlists earth has have started getting old after a few months, discovered he likes indie folk and certain country songs.

has a song literally named GOOD MORNING SUNSHINE (by the narcissist cookbook) that he, again, only listens to when starting to sleep despite probably needing that as his alarm clock's tone.

Eclipse- anything with a sick beat + a mind melting meaning, like Saint Bernard by Lincoln, I Am an Island by Phemiec, Cannibal by Neathen Apollo. ect. listens to songs to decompress and simmer in thoughts.

only listens to sad/angry songs

not because those are the emotion he dwells on the most, he just likes the vibe that sad/suffering songs tend to have.

Solar- k-pop girl band girly, Chappell roan, bit of folk and synth pop?, Eclipse didn't design his new body with the function to do things inside the head, he uses his phone to listen to music.

listens to music when working, lowered however so he can focus.

the music doesn't make a difference, he tunes it out after the first five minutes. he probably listens to music to make sure his phone didn't fall out his pocket/ has enough battery incase of emergency situations where he needs to be called

for the first week alive again he had to use wired ear buds because the wireless ones were being shipped, he HATED them because when he crouched to reach something or got forbit do some precise mechanics below eye level it would get in the way.

Jack-we already have a canonical answer to that >o w >o but uh, probably some intense dream pop, neo-psychedelia, and indie pop.

Solar was the one to set up jacks Spotify (he is just using Solar's) just so jack wouldn't listen to anything too explicit.

Solar put the daycare theme on there as a joke because he knows Jack gets frustrated listening to that dundundundun over and OVER in the daycare, somehow fixed the music burnout problem?? jack started voluntarily listening to that daycare theme playlist every single day

the daycare playlist has one song and that is the daycare theme on repeat for 3 hours.

Ruin- I know the low hanging fruit is Hamilton but I have some real suggestions, hyper pop, country and folk pop, and yeah, basically anything from 1990's/classical/theatrical

has a theater kid playlist that goes from Regina George to Tom lehrer so quick and he giggles when it goes from LET THE WORLD BURN to hehe I'm so happy Ima end ww3 : DDD hehe mom look at me! dropping! a! bomb! on! the! capital! of! Britain!

in the same playlist he has Will Wood and Tom Cardy

every week he has a new favorite song (he cycles through them too fast) this week it was Unsweetened lemonade by Amelie Farren, last week it was Rum Sum Sum no I will not elaborate.

when making playlists he just adds a bunch of recommended songs and then listen to them later, when making a 1920's playlist he heard 'you are my sunshine' and started tearing up because he immediately imagined it being about him and his Monty.. 'don't take my sunshine away from me' ..yeah.

has the most absurd playlist names but at the same time those are the best themed ones, they are available to the public. he knows their vibes are impeccable, he wishes there to be a treasure hunt for his great taste in music

Dazzle- likes piano music, though doesn't like listening to music in general since she'd prefer watching a video with music or just a video in general. visuals are importent.

EAPS Sun- Hyper pop (Ruin recommended it to him), that is all he listens to.

doesn't understand volume modulators and blasts it LOUD. like, not intentionally, it doesn't sound too loud to him but it's like the entire daycare can hear him blasting I <3 Harajuku by Alice Longyu Gao , Fraxiom

also does not play it in his mind, he thinks he is, hes just using his speakers.

Moon has physically begged Eclipse to silence the speakers and automatically make his spotify play in his head because of the amount of times Sun would just blast some foul things not understanding the meaning infront of children (webcore! by kwite as an example)

EAPS Moon- exact opposite of Sun, took the opposite side of Ruins taste profile, the classical stuff, though you cannot bring him to enjoy anything musical related. think, Bernadette by Elle Cordova, I'm always chasing rainbows by Judy garland.

very chill songs, Ruin tried to ease him in with one of Tom lehrers calmer songs (be prepared) but he didn't like the vibe.

he'd probably be down to try other genres, especially rock. that one seems cool to him, the teens like it. he just assumes anything negative would activate his KC even though he knows thats not how that works.

Puppet- mixed bag, either country romance/breakup songs or anime OST's (I know thats low hanging fruit I literally got no read on Puppet on that front of things.)

would like the Orion experience, though when one of the orion songs come on they (she? plz correct me but I am not sure on Puppets pronouns, isn't Puppet trans?) get whiplash because Orions voice is similar to theirs
