#always seeing marriage/pregnancy announcements#who could be next? a childhood friend? someone I dated in high school?#someone I haven’t spoken to since we were 15? so jarring#wild to think that 5-10 years could change very little#or absolutely everything about a person#someday I’ll be 40 and you’ll be 40 and you’ll probably be married with 2-3 kids and you’ll never be the person that I knew again#oh and nothing could have prepared me for the fact that. after a certain age. being childfree makes you the weird one#years pass and pass and at some point it becomes too awkward to check in or say you are happy for someone#younger me never could have predicted that either#they will never know anything about my life ever again either.
