We covered conflict before. We denounced PMs' positions as wrong before. But this is where the editor balks - anything that makes it look even vaguely like we might, possibly, support Gaza. Even if the article itself would not have been an opinion piece, but a news feature about events on the ground.

We have free press, baby! But avoid the matter entirely if you can. It's delicate and depressing, why would you talk about it? Don't rock the boat. Be quiet. You don't need to go there.

The two first books hold such bangers, and clearly not enough people ramble about them. I'm a sucker for the relationship they have afterwards obviously, but even before that they're hilarious. Many underrated scenes that could be worth drawing.

You wouldn't think that I'd be brain-poisoned by video game speedrunning jargon, given that I didn't get into speedrunning until I was in my 30s, and surely that's too old for anything to have a formative influence upon one's vocabulary, but you'd be wrong: I am now cursed with the inescapable knowledge of how much the names of many 1990s indie rock groups and albums sound like the the names of obtuse precision platformer speed tech.
